Nice sauna but much, much too busy. Relaxing little and pegs in a barrel. Pizzas are very good and worth the wait.

We were pleasantly surprised by Spa Puur with 2 free tickets for the Zwaluwhoeve. Then tried to book on Monday before Thursday (the last swimwear day within the validity of the vouchers). But ... what appears: Not to be reserved. Called customer service: 'But a limited number of free tickets per day is possible. Validity period not renewable. Response: 'try to book regularly (read paid)'. E-mail sent: We will contact you soon ... So ... no response.

Free tip: no longer offers free entrance tickets that cannot be redeemed. We will go to another sauna, which does have something for ambassadors.

The proof that you always have to form your opinion about something. Wonderful day. had in a large, beautiful, clean and spacious sauna complex. Great surprise since I had some prejudices.
My advice, definitely do. Point of attention, the restaurant does not have much in the small menu (up to 10 euros), that was a pity. No photos unfortunately but of course you understand that. ;)

A nice discount via holiday auction. Driven an hour before. But unfortunately ...... a big setback. There are other saunas where you can really experience an experience. It is just not all here.

* food and drinks considerably at the price (understandable, because you often come here for a bite)
* infusion is a mockery. Too few places (70 people out of 1000 visitors). Temperature does not come close to good infusion.
* Many saunas are far from on temperature, often no higher than 60C.
* many and many crowds.
* and last but not least. Nowhere music. Which detracts a lot from the atmosphere. Only with the infusion. But instead of nice zen music, top 40 music is on what really adds nothing to the moment and even makes it uneasy.

All in all ....... No here you will never see us again.

I had a wonderful afternoon in the Zwaluwhoeve with a great infusion!

Me and my boyfriend were here on a swimwear day, apparently this is in high demand. Way too busy in my opinion! By the way, you were in a chicken coop 9 times out of 10. I do have more experience with saunas and silence is usually used here. What I also missed is a nice changing room .. If you do swimwear day, why not change cubicles? Everyone is still naked, this is quite crooked. Yes, there are some vague, see through gray patches, with what function? At first glance the sauna looks a bit, but the atmosphere is lacking, it is more like a sauna factory. What is strange is that if you want to eat they oblige you to do it there for large amounts.

The so-called slipper policy, slippers off in saunas, slippers on in steam cabins, it would be a hygiene thing, but if you think about it, your feet do come into contact with the sauna floor where others with their feet may have been moldy. So I cannot agree with this. Then just consistently wear flip flops. After almost 2 hours of annoyance we left tense.

Previously read all the negative reviews, but still went to the Zwaluwhoeve. And what a wonderful day we had. Wonderful baths and saunas. Food also very tasty. In short, very satisfied. Been to the Veluwe source several times. Very successful too. But we think the swallow farm is not inferior to it. It seems that in the previous reviews people always managed to pick something negative out of it. This is how you get into the well-known spiral. We will definitely come back !!

Good sauna food was good but if you take a salad with carpaccio you get a lot of lettuce but it was tasty.

A large, extensive sauna. Something for everyone. A few years ago I was no longer happy with this, but since then I have seen quite a few positive changes.
The food and drinks are very tasty, both in the buffet restaurant and in the service.
Toilets and showers are nice and fresh and people regularly keep things in order.
The salt water bath is a great addition, and the salt stone sauna is also delicious.
Friendly staff, helpful.
The only thing that I don't like is that there are people walking around who bring their own food, that they secretly chew away in a corner. Are you sitting there in the salami air by the fire. The same kind of people are also particularly noisy in saunas. I can really check this well.

Today for the first time, everything was satisfactory and everyone was customer friendly!
Relaxing .. Certainly the massage! Fully charged.
The only point of improvement was the speed of service on the outside terrace (waited 10 minutes for ordering, then waited 10 minutes for my drink), but that didn't spoil the fun.

When you arrive at the parking lot you think it is very busy, but inside it was quiet and large, plenty of spaces. Already a few times had a sauna with my partner without others In terms of peace and privacy so nothing to complain.

* after we were dressed, we realized that there was no mention of the coffee package we booked when checking in. When I asked a staff member if I could ask something, I was dismissed miserably: no time. I just had to go to the reception (in particular robe and connection id forever rows)

* unsanitary: no possibility to rinse your seat in the steam sauna
* unsanitary: no showers outside in the plunge pool

* boggy prices in the hospitality industry, but Zwaluwhoeve is no exception. Most saunas can use some in this area.
* the saltwater bath had also cooled down considerably by 5 pm
* the staircase of the salt water bath is bacon and bacon and bacon smooth.

In conclusion: the Zwaluwhoeve knows how to ruin your day of relaxation that you were looking forward to. They are pure money wolves. She doesn't care about the rest.

I have already indicated things via email. I find it dirty when everyone leaves their towel on chairs and tables. Was first checked on last week no longer. Food and drinks very expensive, little choice. I think saunas are fine. Last Saturday the tables remained very dirty.

Drama, More expensive, there is security everywhere, you have to walk around for an hour before you can enter a sauna. Because they work with straps every sauna but 2 / Max! 6 people! then hire fewer people in a day so that everyone can get in somewhere !! but you can use the pool with 100 at a time ... who is Corona free ?? Oh well, and that pool has just not been done completely brown for months, none of this is indicated when you book. I used to never come here for me on a weekly basis

Fortunately it was very quiet because of the holidays and in my opinion until 5 years from now.

Very nice sauna complex. We particularly liked the outdoor saunas. Lovely salt water pool outside. Many choices of saunas and steam baths. Although it was quite large, there were still enough places in the saunas. Food and drinks reasonably priced.

Belonged to the top of Dutch large saunas. Points deduction for that reason not among the top of Europe. They are in the top 20 because of the top 10.

The buffet was excellent.Only you have to pay attention that you book on time otherwise you will be late, do before 6 pm !!

The self-service restaurant is not our taste. If you come to relax, you don't want to stand in line for your food and then for the cash register. Furthermore, great to entertain you for a day.

During a previous stay (where we had paid the regular rate) received a voucher for free entry for the next time. However, when booking it appears that there is 17.50 per person !! Surcharge must be paid .... Well thank you for the free coupon ..... We have not gone and never go again! Are much better saunas in NL.

It was wonderfully hot and wonderfully fresh, very pleasant to be.
Satisfied with the accommodation - the facilities - and the staff who were also available. Highly recommended.

Been a few times, good atmosphere, nice experience and great service

saunas and pools are good and relaxed in our experience. I had 2 treatments with my girlfriend, 1 of which was the hamam
and the other a hot-stone massage. I have been to a hammam more often and I walk away from there as a reborn. at the Zwaluwhoeve you have a peck on the back and under legs and water poured over you for 35,95 p.p. if I knew that I received so little for this amount, then I and NEVER had to pay for it. this was treatment 1. at the hot-stone massage we were treated well and I actually felt like I had been massaged. but the ladies were whispering to each other during the treatment and laughing at it. my girlfriend and I just felt like we were being laughed at / ridiculed.
at the end of our wellness day we went to the reception and explained the whole story. then it was noted and it was also said. me and my girlfriend have no compensation, no money back or receive any compensation.
the wellness resort is also fine to do only the behavior of the staff feels very bad. the food is a bit on the expensive side and the quality of the food is not too good either. example: the melon did not taste like melon but more like detergent.

Wonderful place to relax for a day. Many choices from different saunas. Nice herbs and steam bath and swimming pool. The salt water bath is a favorite.

For the first time in my life I went to a Wellness with my girlfriend. We went expressly on a day where swimwear is mandatory, because we cannot do without swimwear. Unfortunately, when changing, you still have to change in a large communal room with the other guests. Husband and wife are not separated, although there are possibilities for this as there are 4 different changing rooms.

The Wellness is also very large and has many facilities, making it a good place to stay at this location for a long time. The decoration outside is good, but can be decorated a bit more tropical or nicer.

All in all, a beautiful Wellness where you can spend a nice relaxing day.

Very bad customer service. Totally not customer friendly in their solutions. Booked an after work special with my friend for tonight. Now my friend had an accident last afternoon and we couldn't go anymore. Had contact with Zwaluwhoeve situation explained that there is no insight into how the healing is going so no other date can now plan and with the question if I could get my money back. I will receive an email back with a reply that the cancellation is within 48 hours and therefore charged 100%. But I could move the appointment, but they still charge the scandalous amount of 4.95 per person !! Another email that I do not agree with this and you will not hear anything again !!
Bad thing, hear a little bit of money to earn from other people's suffering!
Now I have paid 65 euros for a night out where we cannot go and where I cannot specify another date and there is no response to my email. Zwaluwhoeve have I now lost my money or are we going to solve this in a decent way ??

We went to the Zwaluwhoeve again yesterday, this time the new one. It already started in the changing rooms where you can hear everyone complaining that with all those bags you only get 1 dressing safe per 2 people. This was at 10 in the morning and there are plenty of lockers there! The thought behind this is probably clogging, because oh .. it could happen that we get all the lockers full today .. The hammam that we had booked at 64 EURO per person was super, great masseur / masseuse. Only the Turkish tea and Turkish fruit afterwards a big flop! You can eat it in the Buitenhuys, hello? Service? Then ask yourself because the ladies are busy chatting, even though they saw you coming in. Tea water coming from the hot tap? The foam was on it, lukewarm and in a glass with which you are finished after 2 sips .. turkish fruit a jelly block with excessive powdered sugar .. and that for 64 EURO per person? !!! Come on, you expect boiled tea water and a bit of decent tea, no Pickwick and maybe instead of that jelly block, an apple with some cinnamon. And if I may give a tip .. Give that Turkish tea nice in that waiting room, then you hold the feeling of the hammam for a moment, instead of the friendly service in the Buitenhuys. Moreover, the upholstery of the seats in the Buitenhuys really needs to be cleaned, a simple steam device can help you solve this problem. And maybe a sign DO NOT disturb on the door that during the hammam others do not open the door and stand to look, what happened to us up to 2x while you lie there! Well .. then you want to eat something around the clock from 1 pm. Eating outside is not an option, because smokers and non-smokers are just mixed up ... which also includes the necessary comments, as there are more non-smokers than smokers. Just like the fixed ashtrays at most doors, what draws to smoke there. Most saunas / wellness areas now have a separate smoking area and terrace / catering are smoke-free. No more ash in your food and drinks. Culinary market so just visited .. French fries, croquette, pizza, culinary? And the prices are not in proportion because you walk / wait past the buffet. We eat out regularly and then you have these prices in restaurants where staff serve you from all sides (and is friendly). It may be (partly) fresh, but I think the price is not in proportion to quality. Pepper in the mills are leftovers together because we had grit of old black pepper on top of the mixed peppercorns at the bottom. Salt and pepper sets were dirty. Apart from that, it turned out that if there was a calamity in the culinary market, ALL doors were closed all but 1! Are the curtains (rags) on top of the beams fixed with BRICK? !! It must give a luxurious appearance but is finished in a cheap way. Similarly outside the loungers, without cushions, completely sagged and floor slats broken, black lounge sets also almost all sagged. There were a few good sun beds but by far too few in relation to the number of guests. And as a guest, can everyone sit / lie properly? Outside, a locked toilet is also not enough for the amount of guests who visit the Zwaluwhoeve. I no longer had the feeling of a sauna, but the idea of staying at a holiday park, unfortunately ...

Unfortunately, our introduction to De Zwaluwhoeve was not a positive one. This sauna is simply too busy making a relaxing visit impossible. There are simply too few facilities for so many people, so overcrowded cabins and baths. T

This sauna will always be a great sauna to come back to!

Had a wonderful experience at the swallow farm, employees are friendly and helpful, even our wristband did not cooperate on departure, but were helped very well by a desk clerk!
Beautiful saunas and wonderful treatments .. Only the Indian head massage was disappointing ... this was not on the head what I had hoped for but just facial massage.

Way to busy. Is there no limit to permissible number of people? Also for safety? Floors slippery, even shuffling, I slipped several times and now have a painful hip and headache. Far too few coat hangers to hang your things, no supervision of the stuff hanging there. If you say a word in a rest room, you're almost attacked because you're talking. (No sign with silence) are only women's magazines. Are not men welcome? For various treatments you stand outside in the rain and cold waiting in line. Restaurant extremely expensive cup of coffee and chocolate milk 6 euros and for all kinds of treatment you have to pay extra. You are lured with a cheap voucher or offer, but you can count on six times if you want to do something. Dressing rooms overcrowded. And certainly not worth a day. After a few hours you are tired. Never again. Even a weekend thermea 2000 is cheaper including hotel that this and has a grans to the number of visitors, so you can really relax.

Just contacted us by phone to make a reservation for tomorrow. What an unfriendly person on the other side of the line. Much rush to handle the call. Tomorrow is completely full, only after 5.30 pm there is room again and even then it seems to be busy. I know that at De Zwaluwhoeve and that is NOT FUN! For me a reason to go to another sauna. Fortunately we have very nice other saunas around here. Thermen la Mer in Almere; we are coming! Relaxing evening! "Free" entrance for De Zwaluwhoeve; who can I make happy? Oh yes, do take into account reservation costs ...

Extremely relaxing time, you are not allowed to have your phone and I think that's great! You can use all the saunas and pools, massages must be booked in advance and the place is also very well kept. Tamer in the restaurant was a joy!

Always pretty busy here. Very nice saunas and facilities. And food and drink is also very good.

You really shouldn't be here on swimwear days. Much too busy, it looks like CenterParcs. I will never do it again. Annoyance at the top.
On the other hand, on the 'normal' swimwear-free days, it is great for a nice day of relaxation! Only drawback: some saunas are really much, way too hot. Because of this you cannot enter without slippers, which is not good for hygiene.

Unfortunately the Flammkuchen with cappacio was prepared with little care and attention. The capacity was on top with many slices of lis and there was no lettuce to be seen. Not tasty brrr. Eaten the crust and put the rest in the waste. Unfortunately.

Very spacious! However, intensely busy at the weekend, so I only come back during the week.

Good wellness center, staff was friendly. The first/main area after getting changed is pretty chaotic and hard to find anything, but the outside area and small saunas are great. Not too busy (normal Wednesday). Drinks are pretty expensive so bring your own bottle of water(refill stations are available)

The saunas are neat on swimwear day. Someone often came by to mop the floor in the hallways. I did not notice it was slippery. There is a wide choice of saunas. Some are under construction: salt stone (definitely a favorite of ours in other saunas). The cold plunge pools were less cold than I am used to.
The new sauna, the Northern Lights, is fun. However, the green "flashes of light" across the ceiling are dull and amateurish. The same every 5 seconds .... well there will be people who may experience this predictability as peace of mind - haha.

What I have been talking about more often in this chain are the prices in the restaurants. Although the service is fast and the service is nice, the prices are skyrocketing. 4.50 for a large mint tea, do you want honey with it? Which can! For 0.50 extra.
At the self-service restaurant: a plate with a few fries and a piece of meat (purchase less than 3 euros), 15.95. Oh yes, do you want a sauce with it? 0.50 extra.
Surprised me about this a year ago.
Usually we eat here and then we go home (Groningen 150km). Next time it will be the McDonalds at 2min drive from the Zwaluwhoeve.

I understand that maintenance in a sauna is expensive. But then make the entrance price higher and the rest a little cheaper. No more popping at holiday auctions.

In addition, I always think that many people do not follow house rules. You can see (ON) desired intimacies all around you. I have never noticed that there is an employee walking around or saying something about this.
There is also talk in many saunas. If you say something about it, pointing to the signs that are there, you often get envy of people.

The new point saunas are fun and cozy.

There were many sunbeds, unfortunately also many people who leave their belongings there. Surely there must be more people who get itchy hands to put all this in a pile? I do oei shit. Too bad that nothing is done about this. They are often the 'most beautiful' places.

If you go here for the wide choice of saunas, it is perfect. Do you not care that the house rules are not checked? Great choice!
Maybe next time bring your own food, in a locker? House rules are not complied with anyway, so chances are that you will get away with that. (NO, I wouldn't do that, but it's crazy that you start thinking about it).

There was one sauna that was not functioning: fragrance sauna on sauna square 2. Too bad, it was open. But think it will be fixed if I had bothered to find an employee ..... (you know, those facility workers who would walk around everywhere - haa).

Only 1 cash register was left at the exit. Result: long wait to pay. Super annoying after such a day and just paid 40 euros for your meager food. Then you also want service !!!!!
Enter new system? Check digital receipt at exit, then hand in the tape and invoice via iDeal on your email ??? If voucher is not correct then choice to join the queue ??

Great sauna but payment for each extra activity 2.95 or 3.85 (bell bowls, scent wapper, etc.) Cappuccino 3.10 / 3.80, mint tea with honey 4.10! Despite temp 35c, no water with cappuccino. Sorry only chaufontaine. For that money, you can add a glass of water on request.

It is a beautiful resort and the saunas and other facilities are great.
I do have a number of points, because there must be properly cleaned there. There was a lot of dust everywhere I looked and there were a lot of flies, especially in the restaurant. I also think it is very unfortunate that most days are swimwear days and that you also have to pay a surcharge for that. I find it well arranged in the restaurant, but at the price.

What a mockery! Lousy service, unfriendly staff, filthy food, packed! This is more of a center parcs than a wellness center. That is actually an insult to center parcs. That was once but never again. Even left much earlier than planned, a waste of money. Not special or exclusive at all.

we were very on sunday. very quiet in the morning, much busier in the afternoon, but easy to do. nice extensive lunch buffet and high tea. many different saunas and baths. if it is busy it will be fine, right?

I have little experience with wellness but I will definitely try others and I would like to come back here too.
