Having not known much about finance, 36 with no credit cards and having never really had credit I was unsure what it all entails. From the absolute get go.. MR DAVID ROUTH!! Customer service expertise I have never ever witnessed or received anywhere in my life! Patient, attentive, informative, on hand to answer any question, any time no matter how simple or trivial. I bombarded him with cars, choices, quotes and in decisiveness. Not once did he lose his co not once did him seem flustered. I felt as though he was MY personal helper. He arranged absolutely everything for me and made sure I was happy with every single aspect of my purchase. I had to say to David what are Zuto feeding or paying you as you give soo much assistance and go above and beyond.. yes they want ur money for commission.. but with employees like DAVID ROUTH no wonder they are rated the best!!! Well done Zuto and thank you so much David!! New car happy lady

I found this company from google myself, initially I was worried about how they would find me a car and if I was going to feel pressured into buying a car with them. However, this was not the case. I was made to feel very comfortable and they listened to my requests carefully and found a car the same day and gave me time to think about it without pressuring me. The customer service was amazing and the staff are very well mannered making me feel even more happy with the service. I would highly recommend zuto to anybody who s looking to get a vehicle on finance.

They are very helpful until you purchase a car and arrange finance through them. However their customer service after the purchase is absolutely disgraceful. My car broke down 7 weeks ago and I still haven't received the refund on my finance. They keep passing the ball around to the dealer and the lender but no intention of resolving it for the customer.

You will also get a much better finance deal by going to a main dealer.

Avoid them at all cost!

Sean is an absolute credit to zuto, he was professional and very competent, I started the process on friday on my way to a family day out, time to be able to talk on the phone was limited, but sean made the process smooth and easy, i drove my new car away on the following wednesday, a turnaround of just 5 days, it helped that i knew what i wanted and Sean was clear and precise on how much I could borrow, how old the car could be and how many miles could be on the clock.

Faultless process, big thanks to Sean! His simply a superstar!!!

Shame I can't give less than one star, terrible service. Slow and unprofessional from start to finish, even the dealership I used warned me of their reputation when they were under a different name! Wish I listened to their advice and went directly through the dealer. AVOID!

I wish I could give a separate star rating for each stage because the service massively changes but instead I will have to give Zuto an overall average star rating.
- First step - finding your car. My sales rep was called Dev and he was fantastic. We discussed what car I wanted/could afford etc. and he would give me suggestions, talked me through the pro's and con's etc.
He was super responsive and updated me at every step of the way. Even if he came across a problem (like the car was no longer available), he would find an alternative before calling me back. I couldn't fault him. He is great at his job!
- Second step - the processing department. Not so great. There were some unexpected delays, which was not the teams fault but they did not communicate it back to me AT ALL. I only knew anything was happening behind the scenes, because I would call them and ask for an update. They would tell me, they would call me back with an update in 24 hours, which never happened. It was so frustrating. Not one person would manage my expectations and I could tell they were getting fed up with me calling, but it was 2 WEEKS after I signed the contract, did I get the date to collect my car. That's alot of time, when you're told it will be processed in 24-48 hours and you're car-less with a child, trying to manage the school runs and work.
I guess they didn't want to tell me, in case I went elsewhere, but that's really not good enough.

The processing team need to be as proactive and responsive as the Sales team.

Zuto was not the primary fault but they refused to help as they should. The car I purchased had many faults. I have called Zuto on a number of occasions about the problems I was having. My car was in the garage not road worthy; I was told not to get work done and to wait for a call - I received no call, they was struggling to get hold of the garage so a week later I had to get the work done at my expense because by the time the work was done it would be over 2 weeks with no car. I am paying for a car that I cannot use. Zuto have now refused to help. They expected me to go without a car until they didnt know when. Was not good enough. This will be taken further.

The guy was so rude to my partner when she applied. She explained to him that her English is fine but it s hard over the phone so if he couldn t understand anything just ask her to repeat it. Then he asked if she was being helped (I had told her how to pronounce the letter Y in English as part of our postcode) and cancelled her application. His attitude was just awful towards her. Terrible experience for her, left to feel like she was doing something wrong having been so excited passing her driving test. Can t possibly be the companies customer service policy to treat people like that.

The process was very easy and I was very happy with the sales team and communication. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the after sales care and when I had and issue with my vehicle a weeks after purchase I found zuto to be very unhelpful and very unreliable. I had been told someone would call me on 5 different occasions and this was over three weeks ago and I still haven't received a call . Nobody followed up my query or provided my any update on how I can resolve this matter and I had to take matters into my own hands to insure something was done about my vehicle. So in short of you want a good affordable finance with quick payment and a very helpful sales team zuto are great but once you have your vehicle don't rely on them for further assistance with any issues you may encounter because they will be very unhelpful and if they say they will request someone calls you back chances are nobody will .

They lied to me telling me I have no grounds to reject the car after 14days of ownership, saying the false advertising of service history was my own fault for not checking the service history book, and ignored the fact the car had been falsely advertised.

They are bent and corrupt and I am going to do everything in my power to make it widely known how this company operates.

I cannot rate Zuto highly enough! I d been saying my chances of getting a car on finance were zero until my dad recommended Zuto. I registered on the website on Tuesday evening and by Friday afternoon I was driving home in my new car! A lady called Megan contacted me to help with my application and ask which cars I was interested in, and another lady called Katie in Processing also dealt with my application. Both were professional, friendly and so helpful with all the questions I had. The wait in between processing and acceptance from the lender was a bit frustrating. I must have called Zuto 3 or 4 times a day for updates and every single time they were more than happy to help me and chase things up. I will absolutely use them again in the future and want to say thank you for such an easy and stress free experience.

I don t know where to start Zuto have helped me out more than they think they know! Never received such good service from a company before! Very consistent and true to their word! I m now driving the car of my dreams and it s all thanks to them! Very honest and reliable I was always kept in the loop of what was going on! Told me I was approved (NOT PRE-APPROVED) so put down a big non-refundable deposit on a vehicle only for them turn around and say the lender won't work with me because I've only been in my new job for 3 months?

They have a 2nd lender but now the monthly repayments will be 50 quid more, I say OK I guess I've already put the deposit down so I kind of need the finance from you now.

Turn around again and say the 2nd lender can't work with me either but not to worry they have a 3rd lender but its an extra 5 a month.

Get a bit fed up so look to just take out a personal loan instead of the astronomical price of finance only to see that all these inquireries made by the lenders have decimated my credit score with hard searches so now I can't get a decent loan anywhere and am at the mercy of this 3rd lender with their insane monthly repayments.

I thought using Autotrader and their finance agent Zuto would have been a sensible thing to do to buy a used car. How wrong was I.
Having assured me they only deal with approved dealerships, (meaning i couldnt use any located close to me) I had faith in buying a car located over 400 miles from me. Upon its delivery, it has several noticeable faults. Thankfully the finance company Startline have managed to get the car independently inspected, and we have rejected the vehicle. This is after weeks an weeks of chasing Zuto as the whole communication between us and the dealer had to go via them.
They never returned calls or emails. This whole process has taken nearly 3 months and i am still waiting for the faulty car to be collected and then my finance payments can be refunded.
BE CAREFUL not to put faith in their 'approved dealers' - mine has been a shocking experience!!! Do your own research first!!! Would not use them again!!

Also - they got me a rate of 16.9% saying this is the best they could get me..... and I have just secured one for 8.9% through my local Bristol Street Motors dealership - bit of a rip off if you ask me!

Great company to deal with. Fast and efficient. You get nominated a buyer advisor. They keep you informed of how your loan application is going. Answer any questions you have. They are with you all the way till you have driven away in your new car.

I applied to zuto for car finance today, within 5 minutes a gentleman called Euan had called me, he was polite, professional, very helpful, wasn't in any way pushy and the rate wasn't unreasonable. In the end I decided against finance and just paid for the car with savings but should I ever need it I would happily contact them again based on my experience this time.

Genuinely one of the best finance experiences I have ever had, I was supported completely through the process, when i had questions someone was always able to answer, always had a pointpof contact to keep memup to date, the process could not be smoother! Got a great car and I have confidence in my decision supported by Zuto. Generally very happy and when I look to replace my car again I would be happy to return to them. Highly recommended.

This company really helped my buying of a car. Each time I called they were fantastic and kept me on my toes with getting the car. I can t recommend this company enough and have shared will all people I know who want a new car. Absolutely brilliant service!

Took care of everything and made buying a car easy. Not too pushy, but very proactive. Easy to reach and speak to with a British can centre and a single point of contact throughout. Very impressive in a country that appears not to care anymore. I'll recommend these guys and use them again.

A lady named Rose was very rude with an attitude problem when you let her know that she doesn't stick to her email or word in terms of contacting you back.

Very poor communication and when confronted on missing her call back times and promises she was a little aggressive with attitude after providing extremely poor customer service.

She doesn't discuss quotes and applies for multiple credit lines without your consent and without keeping you up to date the just sincerely apologies after every serious mistake (which sounds insulting and sarcastic)

The whole process was handled professionally by one of Zuto's agents called Susie, who was not pushy or trying to do a hard sell on me. Even though the process took 5 days to complete and I had to upload numerous documents I was continually reassured by Susie that this was a standard practice for most customers and it didn't necessarily mean that my application for a motorcycle loan was going to be declined. During each step in the process of my application a clear and concise explaination was given and throughout the application I could also contact Susie direct or speak to another agent at Zuto if I had any queries or concerns.

Although the interest rate is higher than some other finance companies, etc it suited my needs at this particular time. This is one of the reasons why I would recommend Zuto for anyone considering financing a motor vehicle with either an average or poor credit rating.
