Zuto Review

Zuto Finance has proven to be a nightmare from start to finish. My experience with them has been nothing short of a prolonged ordeal filled with frustration, financial strain, and ultimately disappointment.

My grievances with Zuto Finance began in July 2023, when I encountered issues with a vehicle financed through them. Despite reaching out to address these issues promptly, what ensued was a seemingly endless cycle of delays, excuses, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.

One of the most infuriating aspects of dealing with Zuto Finance was their deliberate prolongation of my complaint until I had no legal recourse left to return the vehicle. It's clear that their strategy was to exhaust me into submission rather than genuinely addressing my concerns. This tactic is not only unethical but demonstrates a complete lack of integrity on their part.

To add insult to injury, during the months when my complaint was being "investigated," I was advised by Zuto Finance not to use the vehicle. This impractical suggestion not only rendered the vehicle useless but also resulted in me incurring exorbitant expenses for alternative transportation arrangements. The fact that they failed to offer any form of compensation for this inconvenience is utterly appalling.

Furthermore, when I reached out to express my inability to sustain these financial burdens any longer, Zuto Finance conveniently waited until the mileage on the vehicle was at a critical point before taking any action. This calculated move demonstrates a complete disregard for the well-being of their customers and further solidifies their prioritization of profit over customer satisfaction.

In conclusion, my experience with Zuto Finance has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their incompetence, lack of accountability, and disregard for customer welfare have left me deeply disillusioned. I strongly advise anyone considering financing a vehicle through Zuto Finance to proceed with extreme caution or, better yet, explore alternative options altogether.

Well Zuto were extremely helpful at first and Michael Madeley was superb throughout purchase of my car so credit where it is due.

Since then I have realised I was sold a faulty vehicle, the engine has went within 2 months and the aftercare/customer care responses and general customer service has been of a sub standard level, which is disappointing to say the least. Would not recommend Zuto with regards to issues with the full package in regards to customer service.

Still awaiting to hear back days after calling etc it just gets a little farcical.

Don't use Zuto - Appalling after sales care. I'm kicking myself for not checking the reviews before contacting Zuto.
BEWARE OF USING ZUTO - read my experience before signing on the dotted line.

Sadly my experience of Zuto is that they are horrendously appalling. After sales care is non existent. Kept in touch until payment made for car. Now there is an issue, no one answers the phone. Promises for call back broken. Complaints not logged. Given incorrect information. Really bad experience. They don't even tell you upfront that calls are recorded.

Here is the update on the Zuto saga.
Complaint one.
The car specialist Adam Crew was very friendly and from the first call on Monday 9th January 23, he said that I could be driving away in my new car by Saturday 14th. Pushed hard from day one to take out their warranty. I told him I didn't want to pay a deposit, then I got told on Thursday 13th that I had to pay almost a £600 deposit. Throughout the week we discussed collecting the vehicle on Saturday 14th and I was told twice that the dealer did not offer drive away insurance, so I was responsible to sort. Which I did (3 days temp insurance). Only to find out on the Saturday, from the dealer that the payout would not be until Monday 16th. When I spoke to Alex in processing on the Saturday 14th she said not to worry the lender does Saturday payouts. Well the 14th came and went with no payout. Called Zuto on the 16th for a refund of the cost of the temporary insurance. I was then told that they didn't categorically say the payout would be on Saturday. The problem was that they didn't say anything about the payout.
So since then I've been back and forth - told different things. No one wants to take responsibility for the misinformation and expect me to be out of pocket after i incurred expenses based on the inform received from Zuto. Finally 30th January 23 spoke to Dexter Harris in complaints and he said he couldn't see anything logged on the system, but he will check. I then get an email from Dexter saying that, it was investigated and now closed. However, no one had spoken to me during the investigation or informed me of the outcome. When I called to discuss the email Luke said that they had selected a call and not listened to all calls and didn't hear anything guaranteeing a Saturday payout.

Today 31st spoke to Dexter, he tells me that I can get the call transcripts which will take 30 days to sort out. Dexter refused to tell me who supposedly listened to the calls and refused to put me through to a manager.

I have been fobbed off by Zuto on all fronts and they consistently lie and refuse to deal honestly with the complaints. I can understand why they have a backlog of complaints going back to Christmas

Complaint 2.
The car was finally collected on the 21st January, whilst driving back, the car wouldn't go into gear or neutral. Had to switch the engine off and restart the car. Approximately a 5 mile journey. Called the dealer and sent a message. Got no response. Called Zuto on the Monday 23rd, told that Adam would contact the dealer Mayfair Motor Solutions Ltd (Marble Arch) avoid at all cost unless you are buying a prestige car. As usual no call back from Zuto. Dealer sends a mobile mechanic in the evening who said the clutch had gone, leaking slaves and stiff gears. Car under warranty and dealer refused a courtesy car or to do the repairs - told Zuto that I burnt out the clutch. So now I have to wait for an ACE inspection, Zuto sent the request on the 27th January.

I would recommend that you get everything in writing from Zuto, they can not be trusted.

Absolutely shocking company speak to there customers like rubbish blame there customers for issues I've had a volvo through these people I've had nothing but hassle from the start proof of rac reports with 37 electrical faults with proof 80 complaints to them and still say nothing they can do so the 6 months warranty you get is a load of rubbish as they do nothing please avoid avoid avoid as I don't want anyone else suffering the way we have with these people also startline are as bad treat there customers with disgust threatening to send blokes round which we have all the proof for the small claims courts these company's need to be on rogue traders please avoid

Mark at Zuto handled my finance package amazingly, his communication was perfect to say the least, not only a finance broker for poor credit but credit repair and building too.
Overall experience was perfect, A big thank you from Myself and Mila ( my new Car ) for all your hard work.

Fast, friendly, very detailed explanations of how it's going to work. Only 1 little mention; never spoke to the same person twice! A good alternative to the bank and the dealer though!

I took out car finance with Zuto and they were absolutely fantastic. I was loosing my mobility car and had 4 days 2 find a new car n the means 2 get one. I found one at my local Nissan garage n between Zuto n the garage it was all sorted n new car was mine n ready 2 collect when I gave back my mobilty car. Thanks u were fantastic

They gave me excellent customer service, directing me towards a reliable dealership from which to buy my car. They liased with the garage & myself so that the transaction was seamless & they were able to access several finance options (rather than just one) which enabled me to choose & feel satisfied I have the best deal. I would definitely use them again (in 3 years when i've paid off my current loan ) and have no hesitation in recommending them to friends & colleagues also looking to upgrade their car.

I was accepted for the finance and told by one employee I would receive a phone call back the next day but they never did..Finally got a call a week later and went though all the details then took my bank details to check my credit which is good...After all that got a tx message day later saying they closed my application dont understand if I'm on a good income and don't get told by a phone call but by message...

After reading other reviews I have to agree to agree, once the sale has been confirmed you will not have a pleasant experience, they promise the world and deliver 10% so be warned, i have now spent the last week chasing problems myself. Not a great experience it feels very unorganised.

A very bizarre system of getting your vehicle purchased. If you have time in your hands then yes try them. Choose a car send them the details and they will finance the amount for you on a certain APR. The team is courteous and acts fast.
If you are short on time as you have priorities, try someone else.
The other thing is that they don't update you with what's happening, as a paying customer is my job to chase up what's happening?
They advertise to be hassle free and easy service which is actually not true. Also they say that things take time and cannot be done at a click of a finger. After making you call them for 3 continuous days back and fro, I bet you can click a lot of fingers in those many days.
I would suggest get a regular loan company and save yourselves with all the faff.

They have a wide range of cars to select from, interest on loan was as bad for someone with poor credit. But only down side for me was I was given a specific amount I couldn t go below which was more than my budget for a car.

I called these guys on the 26th August 2020 to apply for finance after my car was written off that day by the insurance company ,
approved within 1 hour.
They asked what type of car I was looking and after a short questionnaire they sent me some adverts of cars , I would have preferred to look myself but to be honest it did take a lot of stress away.
Found a car the same day went to see the vehicle had a test drive .
Zuto guaranteed the dealership that I had the finance in place, after a couple of phone calls from dealership to zuto I drove away the same day.
The whole process from start to finish went very smoothly.

Very dishonest company and Employees, Spoke to a member of staff by the name of Jamie Harrison. Complete dishonesty in the credit rules system and will blag his way to sound professional.

i Had a credit score of 970 and I told him I only wanted to do one credit check which he promised me. He put it through to multiple lenders on a full credit check as shown on my credit file and told me it was only soft checks that wouldn't affect my credit rating. He will tell you your approved when what he really means it is likely your approved based on checks.

Very persistent to get information off you however once it doesn't go smooth or decline literally will not respond to emails and treat you with absolute 0 courtesy or respect. I would HIGHLY AVOID HIM and this COMPANY if you value your credit profile.

You will be manipulated with very careful wording and false facts.

Too expensive people not stupid to pay that amount go direct to the lender or bank than finance brokers like zuto who charge fortune

Loan sharks from money lending institutions at high interest rates, if you have a problem with a car/dealer all of a sudden the nice charming salesman attitude turns into a rude manner, a verified car dealer means nothing no such thing , verified by who? A professional auto technician NO verified by a lender who can gather the necessary paperwork for a car loan do your self a favour and save stress and heartache drive and buy a car within your means CASH IS KING

Zuto have been a GREAT help! Greg was my car buying expert and i must say he was extremely helpful, friendly and always ready to help. They are the most friendliest people who are there for you when u need advice or suggestions on which cars are best to buy. Zuto has the best and lowest APR. I ve tried several car financing company but the APR was too high 40% and higher. But with Zuto you ll get your dream car with low APR.

Ladies, please see my review and other reviews for S R motorgroup. Zutu has s r motorgroup as an approved garage. Please read the reviews. Unethical and unlawful il not the only one to contact trading standards on SR motorgroup. Zutu did apologise but it will only be ok when they take them off of their approved list.
You have to pay a non returnable 250.00 before they will mot a car. So you cant decide if you want to buy it by visiting it because it costs you 250.00 pounds to make a decision. On top 0f being spoke too disgustingly this man "sam" as he called himself that day, obviously doesn't like women. Ladies beware check the finance company is doing their due diligence with their approved dealers, in this case they had not

Applied late afternoon on Sunday, got a dicision straight away and picked my car up on Wednesday. Every person I spoke to was very helpful and kept me informed by phone and text message. Would highly recommend this company.

Struggling from day one with them... I have been informed that I was accepted for a car finance, I paid deposit for the car.. The next day they where like.. Ohh actually the finance company rejected you because you work for an agency??!! But.. Hello I told you..

Called me 23 times in 3 days different never the same pers but same topic what is my job position (LOCUM DENTAL NURSE, WORKING FOR AN AGENCY)
At the end I was accepted with a different finance company but the car broke after 4days repaired in 3 weeks, dealer did not want to pay in full and zuto
after the complaint about the car nobody contacted me in 2 weeks or they where to busy to get my calls but when I was calling always I was 1st in the queue clearly e evoiding me
I was left with a broken car

Communication was excellent and I was kept informed of my progress regularly. The people who dealt with me were very polite and respectful. Zuto's car financing process was very simplified and easy to follow.
I will recommend Zuto's to my family and friends.

I needed a loan for a car tried other companies but rates were high & only offering less. So I found this company lender and well, very helpful great customer service and I got approved within minutes. A very easy process which is what we all need, thank you guys for making my day....

These are a joke! My buyer travelled from the other side of the country two days in a row and they kept reassuring him everything will be ok and the loan will come through but it never did. They'll waste your time and money, avoid!

Avoid just because they advertise finance on auto trader doesn't mean they will give you finance. I applied for a car that they advertised they could finance me but they then told me it's too old and to look for a newer car with less More

Really helpful, sorted everything out for me with the dealer. Also have a great search function once you have an account. Once you save the cars they can see what you have saved to talk through finance options. They keep you up to date right throughout the process so you know when you can collect the car and when to check you email to sign paperwork. My experience was really good and I will use them again when I am next looking for a car. Thank you.

Worst and Most expensive Finance Broker this not Finance company they are Broker charges alit off money, after sell service zero, avoid at all cost

I logged made co tact online. I was called 3 times in one day and had to keep giving the same details again and again. Then they emailed me 4 times saying I was approved. And when I called to ask, they would say it was being g processed. Can t be approved and not yet processed. This all went on for 8 days. Most finance takes 10 min to be approved. Never again

Unbelievable. The ease of applying for car finance is so much easier. Zuto do all the work. They can check to see if you are eligible for a loan first so as not to impact on your credit score prior to prossesing your application. It only took a couple of phone calls and after 48 hours the lender had the funds for me. They dealt with the dealer all I had to do was pick up the car when it was easy. Customer service teams I can not fault, they phoned me to keep me updated on where we are up to in the application. Can't ask for better service.

Terrible service, been waiting 3 weeks for an answer for finance just to be turned down.... In all that time i had to contact Zuto, not one person phoned me back to keep me in the loop as to what was going on until the decision which was 3 weeks later..... Absolute waste of time, dont bother to apply for finance with them, go direct to a dealer, i got approved in one afternoon...
