I have been in contact with auto for a couple of weeks to sort out car finance. Great to start with but then started getting conflicting information about what was required to complete the application. Eventually spoke to a member of staff who seemed to have a real attitude towards me and then a manager who said that I hadn't been given conflicting information. I then read the email out which proved I was right and she tried to back track. Really bad service.

Zuto was absolutely brilliant I ve never had finance before they made it easy. Was stress free and they are very helpful I will definitely use them again and recommend friends and family

Here's an honest review and a genuine experience so please take note. Zuto will most certainly help you to get finance. As you would expect they will call end email daily until you either buy or decide against it. Here's the problem......
Don't be fooled into thinking they safeguard you by checking cars or dealers. They perform a simple check the same as most phone apps will do. And as for dealers well as long as they are in business they qualify. My dealer has the very worst reviews and guess what you can go buy a car from them no issue.
I purchased a car borrowing 2500 and paid some of my own. Within 3 days it had a major DPF issue (if you don't know what that means you don't want to know believe me). Dealer said repair it locally and I will pay. Went to a garage and he didn't pay. Hmm. Dealer took car back for 2 weeks and 2 days after collection same issue (dealer demanded cash before I could have the keys so paid 60 pounds angrily). Hmm. Paid 200 last week to another garage and dealer said he would pay half... still not rectified. Now despite the fact he failed to pay me as promised and I will add the car is STILL under warranty You would think Zuto will come to my aid wouldn't you. Wrong. I emailed them copy invoices. Advised I was asked for and promised cash which didn't happen. Advised the car is as I write in a garage awaiting a new DPF (975 to fit and check) and their reply to me is.... wait for it.... go and pay for a diagnostic to prove the car had the issue when bought. I don't know about you but I don't think most people are in the habit of paying multiple repair bills for a new car because they want to.!!! Interestingly Zuto can tell you which companies to use for the diagnostic so I'm sure there are no working arrangements or financial kickbacks there (?). No really... that's right you need to pay to progress your complaint. Without the diagnostic you are going nowhere. Door shut. I will have spent 1400 all told in 7 weeks on a car under warranty. Dealer is still on their books despite my experience and his increasingly similar reviews. No help with the claim unless I pay for a diagnostic report.

Remember how helpful they were to get to sign. Where are they now?? Asked for a manager's call back twice and promised it twice but to date no call. No chance of a refund. Need to pay to progress a claim. Identified dealers asking for cash and breaking warranty still on their books.

Choose a car carefully. Well as carefully as you can because if something goes wrong pray you have a superb dealer because if not you're on your own.

Listen to their blurb when you are on hold. Listen to them tell you they check all dealers and perform background checks on cars. It's a farce.

I have an appalling experience of them. Never again. Just go to a dealer directly and broker a better deal and for the love of god get everything in writing like warranty etc....

We just applies with excellent credit score they said our loan is in process so we stopped other arrangements, later on they give a call about or application is being cancelled! Terrible service, lie made us to have loses!

I must admit time-wise very efficient & informative, always keep you in the loop & almost always get through to somebody after a few rings, one downside was being sent an email & text saying the funds had been received by the Car Dealer so I duly went to collect the car next day from the Dealership after ringing them . On my way to the dealer I get a call from Zuto saying that the dealer had just received the funds & collection wouldnt be until the next day, id already confirmed with the Dealer so that was a bit confusing & the person I spoke to on the phone kept saying "the funds will reach the dealers account within 24 hours" quite rude & abruptly like broken record. That's the only black mark regarding their service but otherwise a good company

Exactly the same issues as a review left on here 2 weeks ago by one Steve Richard.

I fell behind on the repayments because I was losing work as I needed a car, hense why I used zuto in the first place.. They recovered the vehicle and sold it for little over 1k


Then today I get a generic email from them with the title, 'Your in safe hands'... I assure anyone reading this, your not!

The whole process from start to finish was brilliant. Quick, easy and efficient. I chose my car on Friday and collected on Monday lunch time. Brilliant!

Fantastic company, they do all the hard work for you. It made my life a lot easier and was a very smooth successful transaction.

Great service . All the staff I dealt with were extremely helpful especially lindsey who had to put up with me changing my mind on which car I wanted to buy . Very easy company to deal with . I would definitely use zuto again in the future for car finance.

The guy was friendly and helpful but often didn t get call backs or updates, I had to call them several times. There was problems with the dealership too because I wasn t dealing directly with them and having a middle man is a bit like Chinese whispers. Other than that it was a useful service and they did get me my new car on really bad credit so thumbs up to them.

Con Artists don't let them wast your time, Everyone get's Pre-Approved then they tell you how much loan you can have, build you up making you think you will get a nice car, get you to send in paper work for a lender that has not approved you. Complete wast of my time. Liars ! cheats if these people can get you credit, you dont need them you can get credit from a more reputable source.

Zuto advertise cars, on behalf of very dodgy dealers. They are in partnership with car dealerships who sell cars with known faults. Anybody who is thinking of buying a vehicle through zuto should seriously consider an alternative! Two members of staff at braunstone motors who zuto recommended, assaulted a family member of mine!

Zuto were really helpful at the start. Found myself a car and went to view it and all was fine. However when it came to me complaining as the timing chain went on it. (i took it back to the dealer 6 weeks after purchase) and they didn t want to know. I spoke to various people at Zuto and every person said they were at different stages in the complaint process- Hannah was pretty good and was helpful. But Tasha was very rude, with zero customer service skills- I haven t had a car 5 weeks now. In the final response letter they got the information wrong, and they said my complaint was being closed. Luckily the finance company have been generous enough to help pay the big bill!! However Zuto haven t been been helpful at all.

The only negative aspect was the number of financial searches conducted, recorded of course by the credit agencies. More credit searches means your credit score drops which could increase the amount of interest you pay. Ideally the interest rate should be agreed before entering into any hire purchase deal and before any searches are carried out - benefitting the customer.

I have used Zuto to find finance for a vehicle twice and have been impressed with their responsiveness and top customer service. Will always use them now.. A customer for life. Highly recommended

Absolutely horrendous, only did a quick search for eligibility and for the last 2 weeks straight I ve had phone call after phone call voicemail after voicemail emails even letters 2 my house told them numerous times I m
Not interested and blocked multiple phone Numbers to get them to stop but they just use different numbers all the time.

At first when the deal is pending Zuto fall over themselves to be of service . But my deal was not such a happy one it's then when things were not so quick even though they tried to help or appear to be helping . I was not fully satisfied with the result and ended up spending money on repairs . My advise is take your time with the deal and ask lots of questions.

Zuto is an outstanding company to do business with. They went out of their way to provide the best possible package and supported the process on my behalf all the way through. They are an excellent company that really do put the customer first. And 'Yes' I will use them again. Highly recommended!
