The waitress is kind and the Makiki store is the best, along with the tasty stores.

Great place to dine in.Non formal dress as comfortable and good wait help with a smile. Service is average due to how busy they are. Dinner time around 6 to 8pm is quite so dine in after dinner or after the movies,concerts events. Dessert is good and tasty and it the spot.

It's a good place eat the prize is right I love it.

This place is not bad in any way but there was also nothing spectacular about it either. In fact I've had better Hawaiian food than this in Arizona. I would call this fast Hawaiian food, but not for the speed of service but the quality of the food.

Good food served by friendly staff. One order is good for 2 to 3 persons.

Zippy's is always on our eating establishments list (more than once per trip) when we come back to the islands! All the branches are pretty uniform in their food offerings but we had great service at this one (for a group of nine), especially from our waitress, Elizabeth.

My breakfast was divine! I had the Deluxe Breakfast Bento which came with white rice, 3 Portuguese Sausage, spam, corned beef hash and scrambled eggs!

It was really bad. People before me were really upset. Was not sure why, but soon found out after I ordered. The staff that were putting the orders together were getting it worng. The customers waiting before me were getting food that they didn't order and the person calling the numbers was not pronouncing the numbers clearly. I think it was that english is her second language. Calling out numbers that sounded like a different number. Mixing things up. So bad... the manager at least I thought was the manger looked like she was having a hard time helping this staff person that was getting things mixed up. They should have pulled her off and the manager should have taken over instead of allowing it to continue. Everyone waited for their order was very upset. Listening to the comments from those that were there. So bad. My son was with me and I told him not to listen what the people around us were saying. I have been here before and never experienced a frustrating time like this. After getting our order. Driving home my son asked me. "Dad why where the people saying all those bad words". Tried to help him understand... hope they fix this issue as soon as possible.

Always a great place for a dine in or a take out, great local food selection and best Chili in the state.

To use the table service, wait until the north entrance (Young Street side) has a register and you are guided. All menus are in English. Some dishes are mini-sized and easy to rely on. If the drink is large, you can change it freely. He / she came to hear properly when we finished drinking and the service of the clerk was nice and the smile was very nice. Payment is table accounting.

A relaxing place to enjoy a meal with friends. Good food at reasonable prices. Fast and friendly wait staff. A favorite of mine to talk story with friends.

Very Poor Service............you can go there at any given time and you will find the Waitresses standing around talking to each other especially in the Mornings..........betwren the Hours of 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. There were a lot of times that I just got up and walked out.........theres a very Rude waitress that works there............I should have turned her in. The Food and Pastries have gotten so expensive. I wouldn't recommend the Makiki Zippys to anyone.....I'll try Kapahulu Zippys and see if they are Better

Korean chicken it's not authentic but it was okay and the chicken katsu was not good either

When you are starving on a late Sunday night, Zippy's is there to satisfy the hunger. Loco Moco was just the ticket.

Off peak hours are the best time to go. Quick food turn around and friendly, good wait staff unlike some other locations.

Zippy's is a convenient place for fast, local food! This location is quite nice with both a sit-down dining room and counter service. Parking is best from Young Street. I love the service -- they're willing to make me a single scrambled egg for my meal which is amazingly nice (yeah, I actually order that).

I remember pointing to the potato salad on the menu and saying i wanted it. But later i kept thinking whats missing. Finally i remembered it. But when the bill came she hadnt written it down. The meal was great except for that. But why was i suppose to tip So much when i feel like im invisible when i point to something and say i want that and she repeated it. Half our section was empty. It seemed to me that there should have been time to write something down. I will order differently next time. Everything on the side first. This was not my my first problem dinning there. Each time you hope you sit in a good section . Its very important to bring a good dinner partner to talk to sometimes. ..

Good place to eat anytime. Good comfort food although prices seem to increase every time a giveaway is promoted. Customer surveys and senior discounts available. Day staff top notch, evening so-so. Lines are long during meal hours. Lots of parking.

My Teriyaki beef deluxe sandwich deluxe with raw onion was the worst I ever had. It had NO teriyaki sauce at all. So dry. My favorite, I was bummed.

Zippys in Hawaii is suppose to be the place to go. Very very slow service and food is a three. Breakfast is a little bit more tasty.

This Zippys has good meals and good daily specials on the menu and good Kona coffee, it's coffee and dessert kind of place Enjoy have a great day.

Fast service. Food prices are expensive for the quality and quantity. Zippy's is Hawai'i's equivalent to fast food.

They always get my order wrong. The orders either have missing things in order or isn't cooked correctly

Newly renovated place, looks really nice. Love getting the chilli chicken mix plate that's one of my go to meal or breakfast food

The check in process is easy and the app is very helpful. It informs you of your place in the wait line. Then when it's your turn, you are shown to where you sanitize and then you stand in front of this machine that checks your temp and then you're shown to your clean and sanitizedtable or booth.
They are very helpful and friendly and the food is very good.

Outstanding Service. The Pork Saimin And Fried Was Delicious. The Waitress Provided Me With Excellent Service. That Is Why I Am Giving Her A Twenty Percent Tip.

You didn't complete your trip to Hawaii without eating at Zippy's

Decent quick meal. Service was excellent from our server Koanhu I believe was his name.

Could have been a lot better. Experienced a lot better food at this location and the Korean chicken was way over cooked and practically not edible. There was no offer to replaced the defective Korean chicken by the wait help. Really disappointed since we frequently visit this location and we know how Korean chicken should taste like. Previous visits, the Korean chicken was a signature dish so tonight, we brought over an expanded party to try. It seems like the cook tonight should be way better trained since that was the only disappointment this evening. Unfortunately, most of our table ordered the Korean chicken and that s why this experience went from 5-stars to 3-stars, at best.

Fried chicken was fresh and hot, counters were clean and neat. Went in for an early lunch and got exactly what I wanted from the place.

Reduced menu... sigh... no katsu curry saimin for me Temp check and hand sanitizer upon entry. Plexiglass segregated booths. Checker board seating. Only thing that bothered me was the family with their kid standing in the aisle, I guess cuz he didn't want to sit at the table. Which meant he was standing next to where I was seated. Which if it wasn't COVID time I wouldn't have thought twice about it. But I'm seated at my table eating and drinking without a mask on. He had a mask on, but still well within my "bubble". That's 2 strikes in my book. Got the Korean chicken salad which is another regular for me, but I could have ordered that from the takeout side and eaten safely at home. Should have taken the hostess's advice and left. I know she was joking and not trying to get her in trouble. I still love Zippy's, just not worth dining in if I can't order the things that they regularly have on the dine in menu. I miss the shrimp burger too but that's been off the menu for a while. Just my wish list I guess. Great service, friendly staff, let me know when the regular menu is back.

Fast food side; the counter staff are mostly friendly. The food is ok by zippy standard. Management is weak when it comes to cleanliness. Not gonna spell it all out, just have a close look at the caked up food on the trash cans to start. Your eyes will go on from there.

YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR ORDER . THEN YOU WAIT LONG TIME FOR YOUR CHECK. YOU HAVE WAITER DOING SO MUCH FOR SMALL PAY . MANGERMEAT NEED HA VE BUSBOYS AND CHASERS I SEE LOOKING FOR THEIR SERVER GET THEIR MONEY .HIGHER MANGERMENT NEED SIT DOWN LOOK AT THIS ATALL THEIR STORES . OLD TIME IT WAS GOOD COME .

Great service. This is a 24-hour restaurant. Minimum wait, attentive servers and delicious food. Festive decorations and staff were very accommodating.

I go to this restaurant once or twice a week. The servers are always friendly and courteous, no matter how busy they are.

This is a good place to go for a quick, simple meal when you don't want to cook for yourself, but want more than the regular fast food options. It's been here forever, so it's not in the best condition. Restrooms, for example, could use a little work. But the service is typically friendly, the food decent . They have both dine in and take out options at this one. (Pepsi place, if it makes a difference to you. If it does, there's a gas station next door, buy a Coke and get take out) They have decent parking, but it gets crowded during normal meal hours. Locals and seniors love this place.

If you have time dine in service is great. The waitress was fast, our orders came out fast, and the food was bomb.

Open 24 hours and they have something for everyone.
