I started my lease in August of 2017. A punch list walk through was NOT performed. At a glance - it s a beautiful apartment & we are on the top floor w/soaring 25ft ceilings with windows up high all over. The appliances look ok but need replacement. The door frames are crooked as are many other issues...they re small but annoying!!
REVISION AFTER A YEAR - GO ELSEWHERE!!! AWFUL!! Issues never get resolved...Management will bold face lie to your face. Also, for 8 months I complained about the stove...it was not operating properly. I was told I wasn t used to gas. Yes, I am. They didn t listen. On a Friday about 2 months ago I said I m afraid to even use it...Monday night, fire - Destroying oven & microwave & it took them 2 weeks for stove replacement & 3.5 for microwave. Ugh. Look ELSEWHERE light The Heights.
I have lived here for about a year and a half, and I enjoy it very much. Staff is friendly and maintenance is very responsive. The location is great--there is a nice trail where you can walk right downtown, and it is also within walking distance of grocery and other shops. Tall ceilings and large windows are very nice. Even though my apartment is right next to the weight room, I never hear it in my place (only when out in the hallway), so it's pretty quiet. Dog friendly, and grills are out in the summertime.
Absolutely hated this place. Management was pretty bad the apartment even worse. We were scheduled to move in on a Saturday but had to get our keys the day before because even though it states they are open on Saturday nobody was there. We never did an initial walk through with management either to check up on any damage that was there before we moved in. Numerous issues took either too long to get fixed or we never heard back from the management. also when we moved in the apartment was filthy. Extreme dust on the ceiling fans, bugs in the window panes, cracked or missing light switch plates. It was just a terrible terrible experience and I would highly recommend not moving into these apartments.
