We like this Zippys because the service is good and they are fast. We've been to other Zippys and sometimes we have to actually get up and look for someone to take our orders and to get out check. Staff are very friendly

Family restaurant originated in Hawaii. Can you taste the local mood?

Hey its zippys menu the same everywhere you go..the only diffrence is the it looks different....

I just went there tonight 23rd of January dinner was awesome service was great the atmosphere was wonderful

Staff was off putting, I felt like I should've gone elsewhere. Menu has been reduced to stuff I don't much care for. Went with my wife, daughter and grandson. Aside for my grandson eating all of his bacon and rice, neither my wife or daughter finished their food and in fact stopped halfway and didn't care to finish. I think I was the smartest one, by just ordering coffee which by the way took about 10 minutes to get. I will not be going back there and don't suggest anyone else to do it

Familiar food, clean restaurant and great hours! Always available no matter what our crazy schedule is.

Sorry to say terribly overpriced for the mediocre food quality. I certainly learned my lesson, I will not be returning for lunch or, for that matter, dinner.

Zippys is Zippys if you've been there then you know what to expect there are consistent in their service and food prep

Never been so rushed to order food poor service I felt rushed in ordering and eating my food :( the host Lynda should be a server she interacted with me more then my server so disappointed rt now if I 2acted horrible service I would've went to Mc Donalds

Standard Zippy's. Take out counter or indoor seating with servers available. Parking lot is kind of small but cars rotate through pretty frequently on the King Street entrance side stalls.

We eat here weekly and have our "favorite" wait help... If the chosen ones are not working, we eat elsewhere! One thing with Zippys is you know what to expect because their food is always consistent.

Great place for local specialties like loco moco's and the famous Zippys chili. This location has a 24 hour take out window and dining room. Staff are always friendly. Gets busy during lunch and dinner hours. Try their sweets at the Napoleon bakery in the take out area.

One very grumpy server (not even ours) lost them a star. She was verbally complaining. Maybe it's because it was monday, she complained about our big group eventhough we havent been seated. Zippy's is a diner with a bakery. Portions are huge here. Everyone was satisfied with their choices- especially the chilli , that's what they're famous for. Save room for dessert! The bakery has the best cream puff. The custard on top is so yummy. Great place for breakfast, they accommodated our group seated us in side by side booths. Except for the grumpy lady, it was totally worth it!

The clerk was very kind. Japanese is not understood at all, but the menu is easy to understand, so there is no problem with ordering.

Waiters went out of there way to accommodate large party although they were short staffed. They worked expeditiously, and flowed fluidly with minimum disruption to our meeting. I praise their efforts.

Don't really care for Zippys...same food for years, portions get smaller and prices keep climbing! If it wasn't for the GF...I wouldn't go! Dine in surf pac....$12.00+...dang!!!

Since the renovation, went there twice.. both times was not a good experience. First day of the opening, waited 45 min for our food. 2nd time lots of tables were opened.. waited because they didn't have enough staff. The waitresses were doubling up.

Appreciated the care they take to make sure everyone is safe. All staff welcoming and friendly. Helped me make a great choice ordering the roast pork for the first time at zippys. Omg i will definitely have this again..please thank the chef best roast pork i ever ordered.

Well, I don't think Japanese tourists will come first, but ZIPPYS is within walking distance of Ala Moana Walmart Donki. It's cheap and delicious because local people come to eat.

Over priced with greed, for tiniest servings. Tiniest complimentary water cups.

I've always come to this location but on this occasion service was not up to par. Food and beverage placed in front of wrong person a d there were only 2 of us. My coffee refill was barely half a cup. When I spilled it reaching for the bill, a refill was not offered. Very disappointing service

Dine in has better food quality even when you order the same thing. On the fast food side they really make an effort to make it fast food quality.

If you decide to dine in the restaurant, ask for Agnes! Always friendly and a very competent server.

A local place with local dishes and a great assortment of breakfast items or anytime you feel hungry. Reasonable prices and great service!

I had ice tea , lemon water , hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes gravy , garlic veg's , and a banana Royal extra hot fudge . I'm walking away full and satisfied . Was really busy so service was a little slow but not bad . I do wish they still had boston cream pie .

Nice place. But the bathrooms......UGH! There's a funky smell. I know it's a bathroom, and may smell weird at times, BUT there are other bathrooms on the island that don't smell like the way this Zippys location does.

zippy s chili is always my fav! This location tends to be really busy so I suggest calling your order in so you don t have to wait too long for your food.

My mum and I came here for a late lunch the day we arrived in Honolulu. Despite having a large parking lot, we had to circle a few times before we finally managed to snag a spot. Not sure if this goes for all Zippy's or not (this is the only location we visited during our stay), but this Zippy's was split with a sit-down restaurant in the back and a casual fast food area in the front. Apparently they also sell pastries from Napoleon's Bakery. We went to the front area to order from the fast food counter.

Since we were just there for a really quick bite, my mum and I split their Zip Pac ($8.95+tax). It coems with rice, some salad, a slice of spam, some chicken, a bit of beef, and a bit of fried fish along with a slice of pickled daikon and a packet of tartar sauce. Partially because we were starving (while it was before 1PM local time, it was almost 4PM LA time, which is ridiculously late for lunch considering we had breakfast around 6AM) and partially because the food is good, we immediately inhaled the entire thing. I was not a fan of chicken because I found it hard to eat and was also overcooked, but the other three items were good.

I can't speak to the restaurant, but the fast food area is definitely a good option if you want decent food really fast for a decent price. According to their website there are 25 different locations for Zippy's throughout the state, with many of them open 24 hours, so it's a very convenient place to go when other food places may be closed or inconvenient to visit.

It's an island tradition... Like Hawaii's version of Dennys! It's clean, the food (whatever you get) is good, the prices are reasonable, the service is usually good, AND they have take-out and bakery items. It's a winning combo!

It was one of the only places that I have found to be open on Thanksgiving, and it's open all day and all night. There was so many people waiting for food, it was so busy.

They just finished renovating their dining room. It is nice and well lit. We went in at 3 AM on 4th of July, so it was very busy. There are several sports bars in the area, so there were many intoxicated people yelling and moving around. However we didn't wait more than 5 - 10 min. The server was great even though she was super busy. She took our orders quickly and got our food/drink refills without us having to ask.

2:30 am drunk and starving no problem zippys has got you great food and open late.

This Zippys is like any other. Great and tasty food for an affordable price. This location has a table service section and a fast food section. I believe the table service side's food is a bit more expensive than the fast food side, so it's better to just get it from fast food and dine in on a table.

Dine in is okay. But not much service I dont want to leave tip. So I just do the take out. Takeout food is same everywhere obviouspy but I like that here has big parking lot.

Hands down the best Zippy's location anywhere. Great environment, ample parking, easy to access, the best wait staff, and never seems over-crowded.

In a lower class part of town but the service was quick and had no problems

It's walking distance from where I live. If I don't feel like cooking at night the dinners I order are almost like a home cooked meal. The spaghetti plate, the Korean chicken salad, and chilli with rice are ALL a great go to.

Delicious. Very welcoming. Clean place too. A place that the locals eat..

Service was not good at this zippys and food was served cold not to mention the hose tasting water. Never eating there again
