Zimbrick Volkswagen in Middleton has practically become family! Everyone from the sales staff, financing to the maintenance team couldn't be more friendly and happy to help with any need you might have. I've been a loyal VW customer for quite sometime and I honestly wouldn't want go to another dealership. Roy Fenn is the best guy, and if you get the chance to work with him consider yourself lucky!

They were nice enough to drive me across the street to the rental place, but it took them a half hour to get someone to drive me there. Overall the product was good, but customer service could have been better

I drove a car from california to Madison to give to my daughter, once we arrived it broke down and we were so worried. As someone who came from out-of-state, I could not have been more pleased with the service I received. They diagnosed the issue and repaired it promptly, saving me so much money in potential car rentals. I so appreciated Jarred Frick s help he was absolutely amazing! I would recommend Zimbrick and Jarred to anyone; I feel much safer having my daughter here alone with this car knowing she can always go there and would be in good hands.
I took my car in to Zimbrick to work on a leak. They were very professional and made sure there weren't any other issues. Let me know what was going on during the process. Gave me a very nice loaner car to use, so I wasn't worried about getting around. I normally don't go to a dealership for car repairs, but I would recommend zimbrick Middleton any time.

While you may not think of Zimbrick as a "tire place," you should. Faced with a tire with a big screw in it, and an urgent need to get it fixed, I called around the "tire" dealers. No one could get me in until late on a Saturday, which interfered with my plans. I remembered that I used to take my Dodge Caravan to Zimbrick VW in Middleton to have the snow tires put on, not only because they had the best price, but they also had the best service. My experience with Zimbrick goes back to my 83 Honda, and I have never been disappointed. So I called them on Friday late afternoon. "Sure, bring it in at 9 am tomorrow" and in response to my inquiry as to whether they'd be willing to work on a Mazda, they said "a tire is a tire." Showed up at 8:30, and by 8:45 the service rep was showing me a rather big screw that was right in the middle of the tire. Good placement to put a plug in, he explained. "No charge" he finished with. Once again Zimbrick turned what could have been a terrible situation into an easy fix. You can count on them!!!

You would think it would be hard to get your car fixed if you accidentally walked off with the keys to it in your pocket and left the mechanics with keys to a different car. But the folks at Zimbrick VW Middleton actually fixed a problem with my car today even though I neglected to leave them my keys. Thanks to everyone for "working around" my carelessness. And thanks for the continuing good service.

I ve been taking my beloved GTI here for 3 years. It s my 4th VW, so I ve had a lot of VW service. This is my favorite dealer shop by far. They are unfailingly polite, honest, and reliable. I can t recommend them highly enough.
Zimbrick referred me to their Zimbrick body shop to repair my dream car after a deer ran into my side mirror. I trusted the Zimbrick brand. I knew they were charging twice the price of my local body shop, but I wanted a shop that specializes in VWs, I trusted Zimbrick, and insurance was paying for it. When I picked up my "repaired" vehicle, there was more damage than before the repair. There were multiple dents from where an inept technician had man-handled the car while dissembling and reassembling the door. The manager confirmed the damage. Their excuse? "We put the wrong person on the job." I asked, "So you used my brand new car to train a new technician?" They said, "Yes." I was disgusted. Dream car ruined. The previous damage, a broken mirror, could be replaced. But this new damage caused by Zimbrick is permanent. A dented car will never be the same, unless maybe you replace the panels. I did not trust them to fix it, which was their only offer. They had "fixed" my car enough, I thought. If I'm going to pay more money, I'm giving it to a shop who deserves it. Besides, I had just spent almost 2 weeks in one of their disgusting loaner cars that smelled like an ashtray and body odor, so I didn't want to go through that again. My insurance company had already paid the $2,700 bill, except for my $500 deductible. So my only leverage was my $500 deductible. I suggested that some sort of adjustment in cost was appropriate, and I did not trust them touch my car again, not only because of poor workmanship, but also because of the unprofessional treatment by management. (I was always polite.) When I suggested an adjustment to the cost (for my benefit and my insurance company who I felt was cheated by paying for horrible workmanship), I was told "that would be insurance fraud." I was also told I could not take my vehicle until I paid *MORE* money. They ruined my car, took over $2,200, and they wanted $500 *MORE*. They had already let me take the car while I waited for an appointment with the manager, but now they would not let me leave with the car again unless I paid $500 more. At this time, two additional employees appeared and pretended to be "polishing" the car parked next to me, blocking my exit, to intimidate me. I stood my ground and refused to pay more. I politely told them I would be late for work after my lunch break if I did not leave then. They did not care. I told them I would have to call my insurance company, the police, and my attorney they did not care. They sat there while I made those calls, refusing to allow me to leave. My insurance company, the police, and my attorney, all confirmed that I would not be committing "insurance fraud" if I did not pay my $500 deductible to the body shop, so they lied about that. The police department confirmed that they do not have the right to confiscate my car, but at this point it was a "civil matter," so they could not get involved. My attorney pointed out that their small print asserted that my car could be used as a lein against payment, but that does not mean they can confiscate my car. So they were holding my car illegally, but the police could not get involved. Finally, after 1 hour and 45 minutes, the manager said, "Look, I offered to waive the $500 deductible, but you were not interested in that." That was another lie. Finally they let me leave with my damaged vehicle that will never be the same. I have never been treated so unprofessionally in my life. And remember, I am a *CUSTOMER* who they are supposed to *SERVE*. I will never give Zimbrick my business again. Stay away. They're unprofessional, dishonest, and rude. Now I'm stuck driving to Monroe or Dubuque for maintenance because I can't trust Zimbrick.

The service team has been a fantastic help in servicing my car in the last few years. A huge thank you to Alyssa! She went above and beyond to make sure I had warranty on my car for a repair that would take more than one day as well as providing me with a loaner vehicle. Alyssa's quick thinking and attention to great customer service needs to be commended.
Marc Jacobson was a great help and extremely patient with us during the car buying process. They offered us a loaner vehicle while they worked on a dealer trade to get the exact vehicle we wanted. We never felt pressured and Marc was extremely responsive throughout the process. Overall, this was a smooth transaction.
I leased my first car with this dealership this month. It was a very pleasant experience. I worked with Bryan Olson, he was fabulous. He is very respectful and he listened!!!! He found me the perfect car me. He did not try to upgrade me, he heard me and got me the car I wanted. Great experience, the process was smooth and efficient. I will definitely recommend this place and Mr. Olson whenever I have a chance to.
The sales and service at Zimbrick VW Middleton was great. I had a minor radio issue where I needed to drop the car off to be looked at. A loaner car was provided and the radio was fixed by the end of the day when I brought back the car. Great service. Highly recommend.

This review is for Tom Lenling in sales. I came in here a long time ago, before covid but never decided to do a review until now. He just gave me the keys to a beautiful orange Jetta I was interested in. He did not offer to come with me to sell me on it or explain the different features. Which right away I knew I would not be buying from him. When I returned from the test drive, he did not take any of my info to contact me while I am making my car selection. Again, another reason not to buy from him. He acted very arrogant and selfish toward me. I am in sales myself and have no idea why he is employed there. This review is strictly for Tom Linling. I have the upmost respect for the Zimbrick's. And this review again is strictly due to Tom Lenlings poor performance as a sales person and terrible attitude

Alex was awesome to work with! He was no pressure from the start and was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles. He knew what questions to ask to help find the vehicle that was right for us, and the whole process went very smoothly. This was our first time purchasing a vehicle from Zimbrick and we would definitely go back.

GREAT experience at Zimbrick VW. I located a used car online, expressed interest, and was immediately contacted by Zimbrick. Negotiations were fair and quick, and once we reached an agreement the car was thoroughly tested, detailed, and set aside (indoors) until I could get there a week later to test drive it. Roy Fenn, my contact in Sales, was exceptional. He answered every call immediately, investigated every issue I was concerned with, made sure I was comfortable with the car before fully committing, and was just generally great to deal with, even after I had returned home with the car! Overall very pleased with our CPO Acura, but service was lacking. We traveled over 2 hours for this particular vehicle, had completed all the necessary paperwork and supplied info on our trade - AND emailed when to expect us. Upon arrival, they said they didn t know when we were showing up and there were others ahead of us. The vehicle s detail job was OK, not great. We waited over 2.5 hours to complete the transaction - which actually only took about 15 minutes. Also didn t feel that the salesperson was well trained in the features of the Acuras or what was on this particular vehicle. On the plus side, this dealership was able to set up our across-state-lines title & registration.
I use to work for Zimbrick Volkswagen of Middleton. I was treated very poorly by their General Manager (Howard Hamre), Assistant Sales Manager (Marc Jacobson), and Human Resources (Steve).
I would not reccomend this dealership as managment is poor, to employees as well as customers.

I've been working with the staff at Zimbrick Volkswagen for just over two years now, and I have nothing but great things to say about each of them. The service is always great, and they make you feel welcome, valued, and appreciated. I've worked with Alyssa and Jared most often, and both are fantastic - nice people, and always diligent in their explanation after my car has been serviced. Also a big shout out to Jim (I'm sorry I can't remember exactly) for his help when my tire blew last year. He got my car in immediately (during an extremely stressful situation), and sat on my phone for at least a half and hour explaining the situation to the tire company so that I was able to secure my warranty and save money on the new tire. Above and beyond - really enjoy going here. I could probably go elsewhere and save (a few) bucks maybe, but I refuse to. Thanks Zimbrick!
I came here to look at a few used vehicles I found on their website. My sales person was Jeff Pongratz. My experience was here was likely the worst I have ever had at a dealership, and I have been to many dealers in my years. Jeff was unfriendly and very unprofessional. A few of his comments were inappropriate and rude.
I am not just giving this bad review because the deal didn't happen. I have had many unsuccessful car deals in the past, and most of them, the sales person was still professional. This was not the case here. I really hope all sales people at Zimbrick don't treat their customers like this. If you are looking for a VW or a used vehicle at this dealership, I would highly recommend going elsewhere. I know I will.
I have owned VWs since 2002. Zimbrick in Middleton has always been FANTASTIC with services and purchases. They make it easy, stressless, and fun to buy. Brian Olson knew what I wanted, got it for me quickly and I walked off the low, yet again, thrilled!

Volkswagens are obviously not built like they used to be I ve got less than 100,000 miles on a 2008 rabbit everything has had to be replaced, everything it s a real nightmare. I expected more quality from this car. My previous Volkswagens went to 300,000 miles with routine maintenance. Not so with this one. The dealership has been unhelpful . All of the Volkswagon signs are around the facility and they tell me the car is not really Volkswagen or their dealership is not Volkswagon. Poor accountability for the lemon that I got the customer care service advocates only for VolkswagonStay away from the salesman named Roy. What a shyster, a true alligator

Very pleasant experience buying a used VW Jetta SportWagen TDI. The salesperson was direct and answered all my questions. Furthermore, there was no excessive pressure to immediately make the purchase upon the first visit. That made the experience much more relaxed.

This is the second time we've dealt with Zimbricks. First time at the Volkswagen dealership. Tom, our salesman was very helpful with keep in contact about the SUV we wanted. Everything went smoothly and within a week we drove away with our new to us Ford Explorer.

I made an appointment for my 70,000 mile service and to fix a broken tire pressure sensor. When I brought the car in I reminded them of both the 70,000 mile service and the broken sensor. When I got the car back at the end of the service, they completed the 70,000 mile service and then told me that the sensor was broken and I would have to bring it back in. I made the appointment because of a broken sensor. I knew I had a broken sensor. I told them I had a broken sensor. They didn t fix my sensor and then proceeded to tell me that it was broken. When I challenged them I was given an excuse that it was a Friday afternoon and the guys in the shop were probably trying to get out. I had to take off work to get this done. I don't think I'll be back to the Middleton VW for anything. It'd be nice to listen to the customer. The service department did not meet my expectations. I am furious that after making this appointment, and waiting 90 minutes, I was told to schedule another appointment because they just decided not to address the issue that I brought the car in for.
All went as planned and anticipated. Thank you for the great waiting accommodations.
