Good food, good service I recommend the birthday club

Love their chicken dinner is lighter than the Bavarian inn

We did sit down meal last time. I prefer the buffet.

We ate downstairs in the cafeteria style area. Everything was great. No wow moment but solid as usual. Always will be back. Butter noodles are an addiction

My wife and I go once a year. It is an annual event for us. We also go shopping and to Bronner's. Always a good time.

This place is historic and amazing. Even though it is pricey, they give you the full treatment! So many extras. Be sure to use the "Chicken Seasoning "

The service is always impeccable, and the food is superb. We can't come to Frankenmuth without our trip to Zehnder's. A long time family favorite.

Slow service, blain food. Waited 10 minutes to be greeted by our waitress and another 15 for drinks.

Here in town for a firework show and The people there are very nice and thoughtful...and the food was awesome! Wish they had one closer to Cleveland!! You have to try it won't be disappointed.

You simply have to eat here at least once if you are ever in Frankenmuth. An institution, if you will and the food is good too.

Spent the day with my family and ordered the Sunday buffet, great variety of foods . The children loved the shrimp. Excellent service Excellent food.

A nice place for the chicken. A great meal and German atmosphere.

It's very nice restaurant but the crowd and the waiting list is crazy at times. Make sure you get a reservation before hand or you will be waiting for hours just a table. Chicken is so so we only go there once a year for birthdays.

Oh the family chicken dinner! It has beed a tradition for my family to go up at least once a year to get the big family chicken dinner. The service is always equally as amazing as the food. We always leave with full bellies and happy hearts. So worth it!

I had the "all you can eat" chicken dinner. Was disappointed. The chicken was ok but the sides were not. I ordered a side of chicken livers and they were the best thing on the table. I think this place has been riding on their reputation a bit......

Honestly the food wasn't very good it seemed like they did not you seasoning at all other than that everything was great

Food was great,service was little slow nice location where we were seated.

We love attending their special events, such as Snowfest, Autofest, the Ragtime Festival, and it's perfect for Christmas gatherings.

Consistently a very good plated family style chicken dinner. Very good service too. Never can pass up a trip to the bakery in the lower level.

Not impressed. I have lived in Michigan for 2 years and I kept hearing that I have to go eat at Zehender's because their chicken is amazing. I am here to say that is false. The food was a bit stale like it was all made in advance. Like 2 hours in advance. The "World Famous" chicken had very little flavor other than the grease dripping off it. The service was not the best but in the waiters defense we had 14 people and only 1 waiter. We went on a weekend and they were not real busy so that excuse wont work. All in all not a great place to eat. Way to expensive for the quality. Go to KFC you will get better food and more for your money.

Love Zehnder's of Frankenmuth. One of the Best places in Michigan to visit for the Thanksgiving, Christmas holiday's...The chicken Dinner at Zehnder's is so good and filling..

I had chicken livers dinner which was fabulous, melt- in- your- mouth- tender. My husband and our friends had the family style chicken dinner which was good, not exceptional, but good. Great atmosphere but still overpriced for the quality.
Downstairs, they have a little cafeteria serving the same food, less expensive. We'll try that next time.
Love shopping downstairs as they have a great selection including nice gluten free options.

The chicken dinner was fantastic, and even took leftovers home for a second dinner. Our server was wonderful, and very attentive.
