Best Mediterranean food in town! Fantastic vegan/vegetarian options. The Falafel is perfectly moist and the most flavorful I've had in a long time. & it costs less than $10! Amazing customer service

Wonderful little Mediterranean restaurant off the main road. Everyone at the table was pleased with their food. I got the falafel plate, which has hummus, some grape leaves and baba ghanoush. Delightful. Ate the rest for lunch the next day, still great. Lots of options here. Definitely try the iced mint tea, I love that they make it unsweetened so you can adjust the sweetness to your liking.

One of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. Inexpensive, but crowded and cramped. The new location which hasn't opened yet should prove to be much roomier

The service was wonderful! We ordered the sampler plate. The lamb & chicken were cooked well. Not dry at all. Salad was very fresh, along with the yogurt for dipping or on your pita. We'll definitely be back! Don't forget to try the baklava also!

My go to place when I feel the need to have a taste of food from when I spent time in the middle east. The service has been superb and the location/atmosphere pretty great. I always recommend them to friends when they are looking to try something new.

This is a hidden gem. The food was delicious and with fresh ingredients. Perfect for a date night or lunch with friends. No children menu but still good options. The seating area wasn't loud and the service was great. The only odd thing is that the restroom was a little warmer then it should be. Other then that, I will be back to try other menu items.

Came here based on a recommendation and am so glad I did. We ordered hummus, the veggie platter and meat platter. Everything was amazing! There was one item on the veggie platter that we did not care for but everything else was delicious! The hummus and baba ganoush were great, the cauliflower was amazing, I would go there just for this! Highly recommend!

I love Zaynas and I am so glad they are still around. I've followed the restaurant since they were at the location on Tanque Verde, and I'm thrilled that the quality food is still the same! Delicious! The falafel are the best I've found in town. Fresh, fast, quality food and friendly service. Thank you Zaynas!

Wow, did this place go downhill. First time in the new location, greeted by a bad moldy smell when I walked in. The ambience of the old space is completely lost. What had been the best med food was just bad. Lovely baked pita have been replaced by dry store bought quality. Falafel were flavorless and dry. Hummus looked watered down. A shame.

The best Mediterranean restaurant in Tucson hands down. Everything on the menu is amazing, and the service is excellent. It's hard to recommend something because every dish is so amazing. Try the cauliflower, baba ganoush, falafel, shish tawook. The lunch special is a great deal. This is one of my favorite restaurants.

The food's good, but can someone tell the owner the fries are better crispy? I mean he can like his fries limp but for years the crispy's been where it's at, please keep it as an option at least. Other than him, the cooks know they've got something good here.

Went here for a weekday lunch with a colleague. Delicious food and reasonable bill (<
As$15 pre tax) with table service and no wait during weekday rush. I left thinking "I should get takeout from this place."

It's a weird location about a block off of speedway and it presents like a hole in the wall but it's a spacious restaurant with great staff and some of the best Mediterranean dishes in town. Will definitely be making more trips there in the future.

Great fresh authentic food. Try the Grilled Sampler with lamb! Love the Zayna fries! Very friendly, sweet staff. Reasonably priced; lower prices than other Tucson restaurants. One of my favorite places.

Super duper. Chicken Shawarma and a veggie plate. Super delicious with fantastic service by Brook and Blake. Perfect precursor to an afternoon nap. Thanks folks! Oh yeah. Get the herbal mint iced tea.

First time visiting the larger location and we all came away pleased with just about everything. We ordered three different meals and each of us left full and happy. The portions were generous, and the Mediterranean flavors were a great change from the usual lunch fare. The falafel got high marks, though there was mixed opinion about the grape leaves. Not everyone at the table was down with the cold version.

Two notes: The tzatziki sauce was perfect, not too overpowering but still full of flavor. Doubt I've tasted a better one here in town. The Zayna fries, however, were a bit bland for something bearing the house's name. They were fresh cooked but definitely in need of a little seasoning.

Service was pleasant and prompt, and the atmosphere inside, while a bit subdued for such an energetic style of food, was clean, comfortable, and conducive to table conversation. Too often the musical choices at restaurants offering middle eastern food, are played a bit loud. Not here.

Been going to this place for many years and have always liked it up until recently when THE OWNER. tells his wait staff, to tell his supporting customers that they can no longer , after many years , get the food cooked the way you like it. He literally said that HE doesn't like to make his fries crispy anymore because HE doesn't like them like that !! That's crazy because He doesn't have to eat them ! Lol. Weirdo owner with way to much ego . sad because I use to like it there . Everyone should go in and ask for your fries crispy and mess with him . so weird.

This was the first time that we have eaten at Zayna's since they moved. The food is as good as ever, but the more spacious seating results in a more pleasant dining experience. You can have a great conversation at your table now.

I am not sure what part of the Mediterranean this from, but it was not quite what I was expecting. Hummos, as they spell it, was absolutely delicious!! Falafel was very good but was disappointed with the salad and the gyro. Salad was served as big chunks and gyro was just average. I most likely will not return. Other places to explore.
