I grew up in the middle east so I know good Middle East/Mediterranean cooking and this place is it. I find it to be the best Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food in town it s always clean, the service is quick, always fresh, and so good!!
Great place to eat!!! The food here is really amazing and the service is the same. They have a good selection of Mediterranean beers, wine, and a great selection of delicious food items. My group had a variety of the many dishes they offer including vegetarian options and lamb, beef, and chicken dishes. All of the food was perfect, and if you need a little kick they have some of the tastiest hot sauce that I've had out. I definitely recommend this place and will be back!!
I've only eaten here twice (I don't live in Tucson). The food has been great both times. I've eaten both meat dishes and vegetarian items. All of them are expertly prepared. The salad dressing is a mysterious miracle. Just to be clear, it is delicious! The lamb kifta was perfectly cooked, and the hummus is the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Go there NOW!
I love Zayna's! Whether I'm eating in or taking out, the food is always delicious and the service is always lovely. The Zayna fries are amazing!!!! One of my favorite places to eat in Tucson, hands down.

I use to love this place to come in and eat and during covid I have even pick the a good few times but it seems to me these guys are taking advantage of covid so they don't have to have a waitresses and cleaning personal and they simply making money as fast food window pickers and I think they even raised a price of their food.
I am simply done with them. They can make money off of others who likes to pick food and go home and eat.
Most restaurants are open for dining in and they sure are taking advantage od this situation and collecting government help.
This place was suggested to us. We went for lunch, first time. It was excellent. Had the hummus for appetizer and it was very creamy and fresh. Had falafel sandwich which was also very good. Came with fries which were like thick cut potatoes, very tasty! Highly recommended. Staff very attentive and happy.

Consistent food! Wonderfully seasoned. Chicken shawarma salad is delicious. Chicken Pilaf is also good. I've been to this restaurant for years and I always enjoy the outing. The new location is quiet. I miss the chaos, noise, and forced togetherness of the original location, but I have no complaints about the food!
The only thing I'm disappointed about is that we waited so long to try Zayna. Delicious smells greet you as you walk in the door. We shared the gyro plate and chicken shwarma. Portions were generous enough that we had plenty to take home for lunch. We tried a couple of the half dozen Mediterranean regional bottled beers available. It was busy on Saturday night but the wait was only about 10 minutes or perhaps a bit less. Friendly service. Can't think of anything bad to say at all. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic food and service! The gyro platter is the perfect filling amount is you're starving and you'll have some leftover if you're not, but is THE BEST GRYO I HAVE EVER HAD! I will definitely be back! The mint iced tea was also delicious!

The food is very flavorful and not too salty like a lot of other restaurants. Everything was really good. I had the fries and gyro dinner. It was so good I had to get a dinner plate to go. Definitely a keeper!

Do not judge the food by the look of the ouside of the restruant, or the inside for that matter. It is pretty dark inside because of lack of windows, the tables are very basic, and the outside looks sketchy, but what it lacks in decor, it makes up in taste. I got the falafel sandwich and it was fantastic. I am going back!
The chicken shawarma had an amazing depth of flavor, definitely the best chicken shawarma I've had in Tucson and I make it my goal to find the best shawarma in town. The staff was also very friendly and attentive.
One does not think about coming to Arizona to experience Mediterranean cuisine, but I suggest you adjust your expectations and enjoy their menu. .. fresh, authentic and reasonably priced.
Enjoyed the food, ate a great meal . . . and took home more for tomorrow ! But be sure you believe the sign on one side of the parking lot: CAUTION flooding will occur in heavy rain/.

Got the chicken shwarma salad and cauliflower appitizer. Chicken was seasoned well. Salad can hold its own with little to no dressing. Tahini and salad dressing both on the sour side. Think I tasted strong doses of lemon in both. Was different for me but not bad. Service was great and people are nice. Will definitely go again.

Best place for falafel in Tucson. Everything on the menu is wonderful. I've been back several times. Falafel sandwich and fries and the fatoosh salad are my favorites. Highly recommend.

I wouldn't know if the food is any good. I was made to feel uncomfortable from the moment I walked in and up to the register. The woman standing at the register gave me a blank stare. I wasn't dressed any different than the other customers. Even though there was four empty tables, she huffed and said it would be ten minutes at least. Never felt so unwelcome. So I took my money somewhere else. 3/6/17
