Delicious. Amazing! I almost hate to rate this plac as I want to keep it a secret because it's so good. We really needed a place like this here in Tucson. The quality was outstanding, the service was outstanding, and the food was amazing. At our table there was a gyro salad ordered, a chicken shawarma salad ordered, and a gyro Sandwich ordered. The flavor was authentic. The food was fresh. The service was very good. I cannot wait to go back. Maybe I'll go back today. Maybe tomorrow. But I'm absolutely, definitely going back.

Food and service for both fantastic. I had a grilled chicken marinated in yogurt.loved it. It came with a small appetizer salad which was fantastic. Also ordered the hummus and pita. Both were as fresh as humanly possible. Server was attentive and quite nice. Seated immediately on entering the restaurant. Could not have been happier.

Yummy!

Was really bad experience.
Unfortunately I don't like to say that, but I feel that I have to tell you about the last visit to the restaurant.
...i ordered the cauliflower plate..i ljke it .. but unfortunately I found that was a hair in the food .. and when I tried to talk to the man about that he was very Rude and he treated me very poorly and with disrespectful behavior...that was very sad ..
Never go back there .

I wish I could name one part my wife and I especially liked about our meal, but we especially liked all of it. If the entrees weren't as delicious as they Really were, we'd be back just for the green beans! :)

I chose to go for the combination plate. The lamb kebab was moist and flavorful. The falafel was also soft and good. I thought the salad was excessively tart and lemony. So also was the tzatziki sauce. The grape leaf was quite nondescript. The hummus was pretty tasteless. My companions had the chicken shoarma, which they liked. I'm still on the fence, and may go back again to give it another chance.

Delicious food and nice cozy atmosphere. Went in between lunch and dinner and the food was fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful and portions were good as well. I had the Chicken Shawarma with falafel and baba ganoosh for appetizers and tried some of the fried cauliflower and griller sampler all of which were great. The service was also good as well and we had no problems with wait times. Highly recommend if you're looking for some quality Mediterranean food that is reasonably priced

It's good comfort food! They have daily specials for lunch and for 2 people as long as you can make it for the lunch specials and not order appetizers/or a alcoholic beverage then it's going to be around 20$ bucks. This includes a regular drink/or ice tea! It's worth it! For dinner if you share one of their dinner plates then you will pay about the same! Mind you that is without appetizers/or alcoholic beverage but drink is not included in this meal so if you can just drink water then it's about 20$. If one goes all out then for 2 people I'd put the price at 40-60$ for dinner depending on what is ordered! For lunch going all out 30-40$ for 2 people! Go if you like Mediterranean food or want some thing unique/or different! Thanks!

I ve been coming here for a long time and their flavors are so consistent! The hummus and tzaziki is delicious. I always try different things on the menu and this time the cauliflower dish was really impressive. You didn t miss meat with this dish! The pita they provide is plentiful and the portions are great. The staff was friendly.

Ok, ok, hear me out... everything is wonderful here! The food is great! Three choices of iced tea! The fries are the real deal! Service is excellent (forgot his name, but a young polite chap... genuine smiles, no hassle). Interesting decor, with fun maps and settings.
So...why four-stars? Because...I'm selfish. While their menu is great and has more than anyone could ask for...for this parsimonious reviewer, I was hoping for one thing...one thing that I ostensibly don't know the name of what it is.
It's like a pita bread, with a bunch of fried oil and cheese. Maybe just fried cheese. Maybe that's what it's called. So...if I was mistaken, and it is indeed there and I didn't see it, then I will adjust to 5 stars. Or, if it's added. Or...if that's absolutely not a thing they can do, and I'm just terrible.
In conclusion...it's really 5 stars, but I can't personally unless there's fried cheese bread thing.
Again...5 stars!

Ordered the chicken shawarma and it was really good! I didn't know what shawarma was but I will think about this meal forever! So good! The fries were good, and the eggplant ghanoush was excellent.

They really cleaned up the place (from the business before), the ambient music is perfect in my opinion - sets the mood while not distracting from conversation- and the food is spiced to perfection

I love eating here because the food is so good, and the servers are nice and service doesnt take too long. The shawarma and hummus are so delicious. The hummus is super creamy and flavorful. The Mutaleb and falafel are also good. The garlic aioli or dip is so good! Seriously much better than other so called garlic dips out there and their Zayna fries are tasty. The hot sauce they have is pretty good too. The only dish I wasnt so fond if was the baklava. I've tasted better, but honestly, I am more concerned about the food quality overall and the experience. Visiting this restaurant is usually a good experience and the atmosphere is great and service is great even when it's busy.
I really enjoy coming here. The food is just so delicious.

The owner literally told his waitresses that he will not cook food the way his customers wanted it . He said " because he doesn't like how it looks " . wow . that is unbelievably pompous . I have supported this place since it started many years ago and in different locations . I can not support a man that "Won't cook his fries for a min or two more " again , because HE doesn't like it ...well bud , YOU DON'T HAVE TO EAT IT . GROW UP and learn to be more appreciative to your customers . by the way your staff is so embarrassed that they have to tell YOUR customers that they can't have what they want . Caravan grill , Za'atar , and many others in Tucson do not give you such attitude . This place became popular and the owner took it to his head . ridiculous really.

Food was ultimately fantastic. Loved the taste, would definitely recommend anyone looking for good Mediterranean joints in Tucson. The server was very kind enough to go through the menu, and explain about any questions that I had. Very nice fooding experience. Bakhlaava was not upto the mark though, they have some opportunity to improve on that.

The food was very well cooked. We ate the hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, and grape leaves. All exceptionally cooked and seasoned, especially the falafel. The staff was great too. It'll be easy to make this our favorite Mediterranean restaurant.

Ambiance is relaxing and peaceful- from soft lighting to lovely music to visually pleasing decor- you can't help but immediately feel you can stay the entire day here just chilling.
And of course the food and service is top notch.

Food was delicious not over spiced like some other Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. I couldn't stop eating! My waitress Tierra was amazing, stayed ontop of refills, and was a ray of sunshine. I will definitely be back !

Sit down place with relatively fast service. Really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Try the falafel appetizer.

It is off a main road but the first thing that greets you when you come through the door is the most wonderful smell of spices blended with the meats and vegetables they have been preparing. The food tastes as good as it smells and the Baklia is the best I have ever had. Also this place is busy and does do take out

I just had the most amazing Greek meal! We started with grape leaves which was extremely tasty! And followed with lamb kifta which was so incredible. The portions were wonderful for the price! Definitely well worth! Would come back for sure!

Authentic and very delicious. Nice to see Syrian's unique taste in Tucson. So far I've tried the chicken shawarma sandwich with Zayna's fries, fried cauliflower, and zaatar pita and really enjoyed them. Great staff

This is one of the very best middle eastern restaurants in town. Situated a bit off the beaten path in a former Mexican restaurant, Zayna never fails to deliver excellent food with friendly service.
