Very good food, great service, modest prices, no wonder the place was almost full. Enjoyed our meal, would go back again.

The food is great this is my 2nd time eating at the restaurant and its is so delicious and lots more room for customers at the new building I will tell my friends and family to stop in and eat thanks
Had the lamb sandwich which was amazing. Fries were definitely some of the best I've had
Great food at reasonable price. Friendly and fast service.
Love this! First timer. We met some friends for dinner and got to see the flooded parking lot in person (theres a footbridge). Loved the Lamb Kifta (like a long, Mediterranean meatball on a stick). My wife had the Chicken Shwarma (amazing). Its off the beaten path: a small block north of Speedway on Belvedere. Great big neon sign. Prices are very reasonable. Also had the stuffed grape leaves and some really tasty dark Polish beer.
Food here is okay. The waitress was awesome but the food is meh.
quaint hidden gem in East-Central Tucson. best vegetarian plate
Some of the best food I ve ever had anywhere. The service was flawless, the wait time was so short even though we got there at 7 on a Saturday night, everything about this experience was 5 stars. The schwarma plate could have easily cost twice as much. You get so much fantastic food for 13 bucks. This is a place I ll be taking everyone who visits.
I had the chicken shawarma with fries and some extra garlic sauce on the side, it was delicious! Service was good.
Easily the best chicken shawarma I've ever had. Delicious coffee, fast and friendly service, too. Will definitely come back!
Stopped by for a quick meal on my road trip. Friendly service. Good taste.
Food was good. Service was good. I would go there again.
I really like to give these good people a good review. But unfortunately the food (salad plates) are not that good. They are not consistently made either. A gyro salad without any meat and lettuce is not much of salad. Well at least the competition is good.
Tasty variety and generous portions. Waitstaff is polite and friendly. Fast service, even at peak dining hours in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere.
One of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in town. I like the idea of having REAL Middle Eastern chefs so that I can enjoy"authentic" food.
This was a very good place to eat and highly recommend it. I have not been here before and I really didn t know what to expect. Had the chicken and green beans and it was delicious.
We really love the food at this restaurant! The cauliflower is fabulous!
Much better than expected. Food was excellent.
Friday evening arrived 5:45
Four Adults one child
No reservation, no wait
Still quiet and comfortable
Ordered drinks, no alcohol
2 appetizers
4 different entree's
Chicken, beef, lamb
Service was great.
Food was better.
Upon leaving we realized that there was an hour wait to be seated. Again, very good service and food.
Great service, healthy options and lots of choices. I especially like the shawarma chicken. Similar menu to Shish Kabob House but without the shish kabobs.
The falafels are probably the best you'll find in Tucson.
This is one of my favorite places. They make my favorite falafel in town and the babaganoush is smokey and rich. I would recommend the lamb kifta plate, the gyro plate and the falafel plate.
The food was absolutely amazing, and the servings were huge for the price. Definitely coming back.
The food is good but I might have had unreal expectations based on everyone telling how great the food is. Good food but not as great as everyone was making it out to be.
The food is AWESOME. Loved the gyro plate and appetizers. I get big points when i go here with my wife.
Food was good. Only problem was the wait time, over an hour after we ordered. They were apologetic, but it was a long wait.
Love this place. Everything that I ate here was awesome. Falafel and fries are a must.
Yum, yum, and more yum, followed by amazing coffee!
i am new in town & i was there about a week ago , beside of the awful service what a wast of money for garbage food
defiantly adding to the list never come back again,
Great Mediterranean food. Much better than chain restaurants.
Good food at a fair price but not so great service.
The food here is very tasty. I got a cauliflower sandwich that was spiced like falafel--amazing! The sandwich came with fries that are unlike any fries I've had elsewhere. The fries are thinly sliced potatoes spiced with lemon and garlic (and a red spice that I think is a combination of Aleppo pepper and Sumac). Getting a side of garlic sauce to dip the fries into is highly recommended.
Tried this restaurant based on reviews and recommendations but bit disappointed. Chicken shawarma wasn t that great. It was just chunk of chicken with some spices. Although Falafel, hummus & moutabel was very tasty. Restaurant has nice Mediterranean ambiance and service is good.
I will comment on both dining in and take away.
Yes, take away.
My husband I eat here once, maybe twice a week since first finding Zayna. It is delicious. It is great food every single time, the service is friendly, relaxed and the establishment is clean and simple.
I have chicken shwarma and the fella orders different items. The quality and consistency of the food, whether it is the same dish or across the menu- delicious!
I wrote the above months ago.
Now, take out is the choice.
Support this great crew at Zayna.
The food was delicious! I had the gyro and pistachio baklava.
Everything we had was amazing!!! My husband got the veggie plate, and my daughter and i shared the chicken rice pilaf plate. We will be back soon!
Zayna has some pretty good Mediterranean food! I ordered a gyro sandwich with fries and it really hit the spot. The beef was seasoned well and the fries were essentially little tasty potato wedges. I tried some of my boyfriend s chicken schwarma and that chicken tasted so good! The place is clean and has a cozy ambience. I would give it 5 stars if service was better/faster. It took a few minutes to get a table, took awhile for the waitress to come get our drinks so we ordered our food with our drinks. Once we got the food, she never came by our table again until we were waiting so long for our check, we had to flag her down. (It wasn t crazy busy, either.)
Very good food, but noisy. Want fried kibbe on the menu.
Love love LOVE! Every bite is heaven in your mouth.
My wife and I went here for lunch in a was excellent. The food was wonderful in not expensive. I highly recommend this place to anyone that likes good Greek food.
Delicious!! Green beans had great flavor everything had good seasoning big portions friendly people will be back
It's my family's favorite restaurant, the food is delicious
Went to this restaurant because we were craving Greek food and this place had great reviews. Food was not amazing. In fact, Garbanzo, a fast casual chain restaurant in Colorado was better. Also, not an amazing atmosphere. The service was the best part! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.
Pretty good food. The tabouleh was the best part. The gyro meat looked more like frozen style ovals than the shaved style cuts.
It's an out of the way place. But the food was very good. I had the lamb and my wife had the gyro. The fries were the bomb. You have to eat them with the garlic sauce. Yummy!
My new favorite. Fresh food, perfectly spiced, and delicious! Healthy to boot!
My best friend and I love this place. Great food. I get the grilled chicken player and it's always tender, though I can't stay too the shwarma or other plates. Pita and hummus is enjoyable too!
Do not be fooled by the humble exterior of this restaurant. The food here is superb. It is expertly prepared, the spices are delicious and it is an overall pleasant dining experience.
Their lunch special (falafel or cauliflower sandwich, fries, and a drink for $8.50) sure is hard to beat. The cauliflower is maybe the best thing on an excellent menu. It's flash-fried with all kinds of spices, and in sandwich form it's served with tahini, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle, all wrapped up in a warm pita. The mint iced tea is fantastic, and be sure to order garlic sauce on the side to dip the fries into. I promise you won't regret it!
First time to try this place, and I'm already loving it ! Best Mediterranean restaurant so far.
Super food, good atmosphere. Modest prices. Just a bit from UofA.
Extremely organized and clean. The best part is the quality of the food. Literally I enjoyed every bite. I would strongly recommend the place to my family and friends. Very very friendly staff. Even the supervisor I think his name is Amer, came over at one point and checked on us. Food was served very fast considering the place was busy when we got there. At the end, very reasonnably priced compared to other places. Now this place is on the very top of my list at least 2 - 3 times a week
Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and a quite place that anybody can enjoy. while the menu isn't filled with different foods , the food you do choose is well cooked.
It is better than most Mediterranean restaurants, but not better than the Shish Kabob House.
The best Mediterranean food since I left Vegas. Delicious! The real deal! Their Baba ghanouj is about as good as mine. Will definitely be going back
Food is so good! Big, spread out restaurant and friendly staff!
Great food and plenty of it. Clean restrooms and lots of free parking.
The food was very good. Just ate there yesterday and going back again today. Good food and good customer care.
