Zanhotel Europa - Bologna/Italy Review

Good location on the edge of the city center. Condition of the room (our room was 522) could be a bit better, breakfast was good (especially the filled croissants!), Friendly staff

Food was excellent. Salad was very large. Vegan Pizza very tasty.

I do not share the feedback "rave" by some reviewers. A four-star hotel that has old rooms, with only one outlet available apart from that of the lamps on the bedside tables (so if you also have a tablet / iPad or you stay in the dark or use exhaust ...), the window is a slit in the top. Also difficult to open. The heating system (you see in the picture) has the years of Noah (when I was there in Bologna there were six degrees at night and the bed had a sheet and a cloth cover, as there is anywhere d 'summer). The staff certainly does not shine for sympathy ... well, what to say more?

I have been attending this Zan Hotel Europa for several years to attend conferences. The room is certainly very well structured, excellent quality of audio and video even from the most backward rows thanks to a second projector in the middle of the room. The location is extremely convenient thanks to the immediate proximity of the central station of Bologna.

Great, in an area near the center. Near the train station. The great deal, the rooms very clean. Perfect towels and super bedding and mattresses. The breakfasts are very, very complete. I would definitely repeat another stay there.

Historic site of Web Marketing events in Bologna, very welcoming, with large rooms well isolated from each other.
I have never stayed and I cannot express direct opinions on the bedrooms, but colleagues report that the quality / price ratio is excellent.
The only small flaw is the area where it is almost impossible to park, but the Zanhotel has a convenient parking area just a few meters from the entrance.

Excellent structure 2 steps from the central station, purely for business trips but it is not bad even as a couple or family. Rich and abundant breakfast.

Everything's fine. Kind. Good gluten-free breakfast. I missed only the jam that they didn't have without gluten. For the rest they went out of their way to satisfy me. Excellent comfortable room.

Hotel convenient to the center and public transport

in my opinion 4 not deserved stars: the wifi did not work well, the walls are not soundproof at all, you could hear the neighbor going to the bathroom to do his needs; twice I found cockroaches in the bathroom and bugs in my suitcase; the heating in my room didn't work. For the rest, very clean rooms.

Hotel comfortable and very central. very nice staff.

Very convenient, just a few minutes walk from Bologna Centrale station. Comfortable and well air conditioned rooms, polite and kind staff. Well-stocked breakfast of sweet and savory with choice of foods for intolerances and vegans. Equipped with conference rooms makes it ideal for refresher courses. Two tips: kettle in the room to prepare a tea or a coffee would be welcome and, although not part of my breakfast, I find it useless to charge for breakfast juices, scrambled eggs and the like.

Total disappointment, because of the reception staff I risked losing the flight to go home, they had me book a taxi at 5 am which never arrived !!! I had to call for another taxi which clearly arrived at 5:20. In a hotel like this these mistakes should never be made! I am very disappointed and even angry ..... Thanks.

Everything you want from a hotel is here! The spacious room, very comfortable bed, perfect bathroom (all working!). The perfect international breakfast with myriads of fresh or freshly prepared dishes. Private parking and included in the cost of the room. In short, perfect !!!

For a convention (with its buffet lunch), if we like to use figaccioid English-speaking terms, it's okay. For the rest it would seem a bit old and misaligned from the contemporary offer.

Attentive, friendly and courteous, large rooms and a good breakfast are the strong points along with a convenient location near the central station and easy to reach from the airport. Pity about the weather showing its signs in my opinion would need a renovation to restore luster to the structure. The rooms have no soundproofing perfect and in some corner with a keen eye can not escape a little 'dust. More serious is the dust on the reception monitors, not a good business card. All in all an acceptable quality for money.

I was here for a conference. The hotel is easily reachable on foot from the station. The common areas are clean and well kept, the staff is friendly. Aesthetically it has not affected my taste but is clearly well taken care of. I didn't get to see the rooms.

I was in a course held at the hotel for a period of three days. I could appreciate the bar with very friendly staff and the cleanliness of the premises in general. Overall it responds to what you would expect from a four star.

Good for one night, the room had a good working air conditioner. View was not nice and the location although within walking distance to the center (15 minutes), but in a nasty area. At night you do not want to walk along there. Advantageous is the locked private parking lot of the hotel, which however costs 15 euros per day. However, despite the high price, it is recommended to claim the offer. The breakfast is acceptable. All in all, the hotel makes a worn impression, the glittering days are numbered. Nevertheless, you can stay here for a short time.

The hotel was good. Unfortunately we had bad luck, that our room was next to the elevator and it was restless for a while. Fortunately at about 23.30 has become quiet. The breakfast is also very good. The hotel is close to the train station which is very convenient. I can only recommend.

I took a three-day course in "food and beverage management" in the structure, and I also stayed for three nights. The cozy room, ready and clean. Structure of a certain standard, even the halls are large, well decorated and always in order, even if from the outside the structure looks like a somewhat gloomy building. Wifi connection always active, mini bar stocked to perfection, in short, all excellent.
Breakfast buffet in order and ready even when the last day I entered the room 15mins from closing. Kind, polite and no longer first experience staff (here perhaps the only small flaw, accustomed to a lot of work you lose a little detail - for example, I've never seen the presence of a reference person: someone with a jacket that differentiates the service. Maybe a little more presence and an extra smile wouldn't hurt).
The 5stelle review is because I was struck by the presence of a section of a bee hive, which was available in the breakfast buffet, for those who wanted fresh honey they could cut out a piece. Well done! See you soon
