Great pizzas and wonderful staff - friendly and caring. Checked on us regularly and made sure we were happy.

Best pizza ever. We drive three hours to order several and bring home to have on hand. Order par- baked to put in freezer.

Still the best deep dish but opted for a thin crust with pineapple and jalapenos. Delicious could really taste the cheese was fresh. Fast seating in the middle of a Saturday afternoon.

If you've not had Zachary's pizza, then describing it as a very deep pizza with a crunchy flakey crust and a stewed tomato-based sauce with delectable toppings won't convey the pure joy I get. It's unlike any other deep-dish pizza I know.

The only downside is the half-hour wait between ordering and arrival at your table. Enjoy the soda. Bring some playing cards. It'll be well worth the wait. Really.

An institution. Up there with Cheeseboard for best slice in the East Bay.

I wasn't actually into pizza when I tried Zacharys deep dish pizza. I'm still not a deep dish pizza person,however, I still recommend Zachary's to all you pizza lovers

The thick crust deep dish Mediterranean Pizza was great. Prepare for a very long wait. But the food is definitely worth it.

Zachary's is a solid choice for a hearty meal. Their deep dish pizzas are saucy and filling, so don't plan on finishing an entire one unless you've worked up a real appetite. While tasty, their food isn't enough to stand out amongst all of the other great pizza choices in Berkeley for me.

A little bit more than what I would pay for a pizza but then again it's not your average pizza.. We love it!

Just as great as I remember! The deep dish was a perfect crust (not too thick, crunchy), and the fillings generous and high quality. Double pepperoni and mushroom, loaded with cheese and a sauce that had just-right little chunks of tomato. I wouldn't change a thing. Note, it reheated pretty well for breakfast, too!

Zachery will always have a spacial place in my heart but sometimes a bad customer service will ruin an experience alone. And this was one of those moments that can make you think twice. I learned our server name at the end was Logan?!? Guess not important cause we didn't see him once!!! We got to watch him service everyone around us like ring around the rosey but kept us on "ignore only". When he did come by he said he was going on his lunch break and I was like "who are you?" He was like your server and I laughed and said really. We had Maggie instead and she was quite wonderful!! First time we got water or acknowledge since we got there she was amazing. And what's his face only came back to drop off the check so I made sure I gave Maggie , his intended tip. Working as a server doesnt entitle me to tip bad server, that what's your hourly for . Thanks Maggie!! Hope you get a raise!!

So very tasty! Small pizza is more than enough to feed two hungry people.

Amazing deep dish pizza. Each slice is a meal in itself. There pizzas are even better cold the next day! Staff is accommodating and efficient.

Simply awesome. I've seen a lot of pizza restaurants outside of Chicago claim that they serve Chicago-style stuffed pizza, but this is the only one I've found that can back up their claim. Zachary's pizza is just as good, if not better, than many of the pizza places in Chicago. Dining in has a casual, college feel and energy though it's a bit cramped. Ordering their pizza take-out is now a weekend routine for me.

Order ahead. The stuff pizza takes 40inutes so when you arrive it is ready

Best Chicago Deep Dish Pizza west of the Rocky Mountains!

I went to Zachary's Chicago Pizza once before about 8 years ago and enjoyed very much. I live in Sacramento, CA. and I have had the desire to go back and enjoy Zachary's Pizza again. Well, AGAIN I can say it has been worth the wait. The Pizza and the Salad, and the Atmosphere was most ENJOYABLE and to my Delite.

Honestly love Zachary's so much. The one pizza place I can not get sick of and do not mind waiting 20 minutes to be seated and 45 minutes for the pizza to cook. We ordered the spinach and mushrooms and added chicken and it is so good. I love how it's not as oily as the carne, and the crust of the pizza is always on point.

Amazing deep dish pizza, legendary in the area. Always a wait, not too many tables inside, but you can get a Take and Bake pizza on demand if you're not into waiting around.

You think they would be much more organized when there is 10 employees standing around the cash registers . I had a pick up order I waited for quite some time and the whole time it was ready just sitting there and no one told me.

Great deep dish. Not fast but it's deep dish so that's expected. Tomatoes are among the best I've had in pizza.

Great pizza as always. I love their daily slices. There can be a bit of a rush at lunchtime and they're super busy at dinner time. But it's definitely worth the wait.

Service 5star. Experience 3. The woman breast feeding her baby with NO coverup. Was absurd. And staff never addressed her. Im a breast feeding mom but come on. You dont have the right to show the world while im Eating..Geezers

Over-hyped deep dish pizza, it usually is not worth the long wait.

The most delicious deep-dish pizza I've ever had!! Their ingredients are fresh and that dough!! It's oh so tasty! The tastiest I've ever had!!... All their locations get pretty packed so plan to wait a while to get seated especially on weekends, totally worth it though! All locations are inviting and has very friendly service. However ordering for pick up goes much faster!... Have I mentioned this is the best pizza I've ever had?

The best pizza on the planet if you like deep dish. I've been to the best places in Chicago and I'll take Zachary's any day. Their classic sausage and pepperoni can't be beat. For most people one or two slices will fill you up, and the wait to get your pizza is long! You can always order ahead and take a half-baked pizza home with you.

This is the closet I've tasted in a long time and they have a vegan option, who does that?! So awesome!

Always my go to when it comes to pizza!!! You can't go wrong! The coat is a little pricy but it's well worth it

It's been a decade since we moved away and have continually craved Zach's. It did not disappoint on our return. Unique pizza, nothing has changed since our last visit. Thankfully. Can't wait for our next visit already.
