One of the best pizzas I ve had in awhile!! Waiter was amazing. Atmosphere was great! Stopped here on my way home to SLC, UT. Best decision we ve made.

Zachary s deep dish pizza is the most amazing, delicious chicago pizza I've ever had!! Their ingredients are so fresh and the crust is so crispy... It's oh so tasty and addictive. Always busy but worth the wait!

You cant go wrong no matter what you order! AWESOME ATMOSPHERE!

The food was tasty, but very expensive for a pretty small meal. The wait when we were there was over 40 minutes, and we got a pizza which was $6 dollars more expensive than the one we ordered, but we were so hungry after all the wait that we just had to take it.

You know, when I went to Claremont middle school they had a sign sayings to students at a time. Maybe they should go back to that, considering us some of those knucklehead kids are very bad and get very pushy near the restroom area. Especially now that they are gender-neutral it's even worse. They also need to work on the overworked woman in the front one person took my order walked away while I was going in my purse to get my money then I say hello is somebody going to finish my order I was in the middle of my order also she just wanders over here and then when I hand her my card she walks away to to answer the phone! So I actually had to say I'm trying to pay! Some other guy sees me frustrated then takes my card. In fact I was writing this three stars I think I'm just going to go ahead and give you all in one since y'all are earned it I forgot about that other stuff jerks . Oh yeah, and you need to hire some black people that's a policy that you guys haven't changed since I was a little middle school kid going to Claremont Middle School nothing's changed nothing at all not affirmative action not anything higher some black people and no I'm not talking about other days like you've been having working there since I was little not other gays and whites they have plenty of jobs hire African-Americans!

Had their uncooked pizza at home. This deep dish beat fresh ones i've had in Chicago. If you can grab a few of these and throw them in the freezer when you're looking for a hearty pizza meal.

Hands down the best! Love this place. Who ever said all pizza is fantastic is a lier. This pizza will spoil you. And I love how it's employee owned as everyone there takes pride in their pie.

Great place for pizza but only 4 stars and really not Zachary's Pizza fault. Car was broken into and window broken out

Where's the beef?? Or, actually, the "toppings "?? I paid $26+ for a small deep dish spinach and mushroom pizza, but instead got nothing but bread and tomato. I remember when Zachary's pizza was the bomb! Now it just sucks a**!!! The thinnest layer of "toppings ". Will NEVER get another pizza here.

Deep dish California healthier version. Love the spinache mushroom pie. Street parking is limited. You can call in your order for pickup. I like getting the half baked for home. They also offer thin crust.

Deep dish is inferior to New York style pizza but Zach's is still great pizza

Chicago style pizza should probably be called Oakland Style Pizza because of Zachary's.

Fast and Friendly service.The sausage stuffed crust pizza is the best thing going on the menu...however dine in is very cramped and hard to find a park during peak hours.

This pizza is mind blowing delicious. I love the deep dish and the tomatos are so g-double o- d- good. I don't like tomatos, but I ate them and my date's. They also have a great spinach pizza. Very good choice if you're in the mood for some deep dish.

Hands down best Chicago style pizza in California. Takes a while for the deep dish so make sure to have enough patience while waiting or plan to call and order ahead!

The ceasar salad had brown lettuce although it tastes good. Pizza was good as usual.

Not clean. Hygiene practices. Serving picking up napkin off floor, using same napkin to wipe table off, then coming back and spraying cleaner to wipe table down. Food quality seemed to dip. Pleasant workers.

Briefly: If you are from Chicago then you will be highly pleased with this establishment. I ordered the vegetarian pizza with extra sauce and it was delicious!!!!! I plan on visiting again real soon.

Great Pie! The sauce is bright and colorful with gobs of flavor. The service was great too.

Come on it's Zachary's they have such a unique style of pizza you have to try it if you haven't been. I like the fact that you can order when you arrive so that the food comes shortly after you sit down. Anytime that I am in the area I go with my family.

I requested extra cheese on my pie and it wasn't there.

Best pizza place I have been too! They treat you with kindness and serve you the pizza at your table. They make your pizza as you wait so you eat it fresh!

The wait was really long. When the pizza finally came the crust was wet and doughy, like they didn't cook the pizza all the way. They added canned tomatoes on top. Will not return.

This place doesn't need a special introduction. Best stuffed pizza in the bay area.

I went to Chicago with a friend and insisted we go to a specific pizza place another friend had recommended. The friend who joined me claimed Zackary s was just as good, so I called her bluff and we went to Zackary s a few days after we got back from Chicago.

Verdict? Nearly as good as the Chicago place. I don t know if another Bay Area Chicago-Style pizza place that s as good

Wonderful pizza. You can choose between regular (thin) crust or stuffed (Chicago style). Friendly staff. Cozy dining room set up-if you don't like being close to other people, get it to go. Great tasting pizza. Also they have meatballs in sauce with bread sticks and various salads.

Fast service,tons of combos,clean place with very decent pizza dishes.alot of shopping all over immediate area.

We did the medium sized whole wheat (vegan) crust pizza with Daiya brand v-cheese, artichoke hearts, whole garlic, and tomato and were blown out of the water! The garlic packed a powerful garlic-y punch without overloading the senses or making you want to cry home to yo' momma.
Fit this "fat slice" in your mouth, and you'll never want to go anywhere else.

We don't live near any Zachary's locations so we always look forward to having any stuffed pizza, while in the neighborhood!

The best deep dish pizza you'll ever have (at least in the bay area, for sure). All of my friends who have actually been to Chicago and had deep dish from there have said that it just doesn't beat Zachary's. My favorite is the spinach and mushroom special, with black olives added. Yum

Come with friends or reading material, unless you love people watching (also pretty good here).

Take it from two pie enthusiasts...there is just something about this pizza!!! Big, hearty, and DELICIOUS, the staff are helpful and on their A game, and even their beer and wine selection ain't bad! Mmm-mmm-mmmmmm... I think I might head back now!

You may not believe me, but this is the equal to any deep dish served in Chicago, with a personality all its own. A Bay Area classic. Usually a long wait but worth it!

Drove all the way from union city because my neighbor had to have it! Definitely worth the drive. It was delicious!

Too pricey. The quality of Pizza was moderate. The location is odd. Parking is the worst. I would recommend Sliver pizzeria to be better. They should limit the amount of sauce they putting on the pizza.

Crust was soggy and sauce tasted like canned tomatoes chunks. Not worth the price
