Wij zijn 2 jaar geleden naar Dr Bayram gegaan met het verzoek om zwanger te worden.
Mijn vrouw heeft n top begeleiding gehad en operatie.
Een aantal maanden later voila zwanger.
Ze is bevallen in het ZMC en onder toezicht van Dr Bayram.

Wat n top ziekenhuis en geweldige mensen daar.
Onze dochter Lynn is gezond en gelukkig.

Monday morning, contacted by phone. Request to connect with plaster room. A not very friendly lady puts me through. The phone was not answered. Again the lady on the line, she says she will put me through with Outpatient Surgery, also here is not included. 6.5 minutes on the phone but no step forward. Fortunately no panic situation because you will not survive if you call the ZMC!

With my 3 year old son here to the GP post. What a terrible doctor we found here! First had to wait 45 minutes while we had an appointment ... But I can still get income with 1 hospital in the entire Zaanstreek. Eventually the turn and complaints are told including hard bellies. He wanted to look into my son's mouth and did not try to put my son at ease, but squeezed his cheeks immediately to force his mouth open, so that my son only became more afraid and there was a lot of crying and of course no result. Will that man also make annoyed remarks that he can not do anything like that! Have my son so far to open his mouth so we could continue but was really perplexed that one doctor does so unkindly to a small, sick and scared child! Still looked into his ear and found that it would be an ear infection. Once at home I realized that he did not even feel his stomach while that was one of the complaints why we had to come. Have not experienced before that you are put on the kick chair and your child is treated so roughly!

They have done their best to make it look nice but...

They have done their best to make it look nice but the treatment is very bad the doctor is trying to put you on unnecessary treatments. The waiting times are anti-social long let you wait 1.5 hours while I have an appointment then the treatment takes 1 minute. For something the doctor did wrong. But get a fixes bill for that. I will never go to the Zaans medical center again for treatment. I think it's a very bad hospital

Hallo.
Zeer onprettig ervaring.
Moest als vrijwilliger met een dame van 91 daar zijn vanwege wisseling van noodgips. Er werd gevraagt of ik kon helpen met haar uit haar rolstoel te tillen. Ze probeerde eerst haar te laten staan. Ik legde uit dat ze dat niet kon. Ze zit al heel een tijd in de rolstoel. Daar werd op gereageerd dat kunnen ze wel hoor ze kunnen meer dan je denkt. Vervolgens werd erg ruw het noodgips er af getrokken. De vrouwelijke medewerker zij bijna niets.
Denk dat ze daar onder veel werkdruk staan. Later begon hij ook nog even over koffie wil je koffie vroeg hij aan zijn collega. We zoude om 14.30 geholpen worden. Dat werd om 15.15.
Daarna goed gips er om. En naar radiologie. Foto maken. Daarna naar arts om uitslag van foto te horen. Wij wachtte wachtte. Niets ..ik heen lopen.en vragen en naar de chauffeur want deze stond al te wachtte vanaf 14.30. Het was inmiddels 16.00. Ben weer terug gelopen. Heb toen weer gevraagd of we geholpen konden worden. Er werd gezegt ja hoor arts komt zo. 16.30 nog steeds geen arts.
Ben toen weer naar chauffeur gelopen...deze werd er ook moe van. Ik weer terug naar mevr. Inmiddels was de arts net bij haar. Deze zei dat we over 4 weken terug moesten komen. Of naar de afspraak balie wilden gaan voor het plannen van een afspraak. Kwam daar aan was er niemand . Ik de door gang lopen en zoeken want ik had haar gezien in de wachtkamer. Later vond ik haar ze was vuilniszakken aan het wisselen ergen anders op de afdelingen. Naar afspraak liepen wij langs de gipskamer en radiologie...daar was geen sterveling meer. Echt niemand. Het was inmiddels 17.15.
Ik vind het schandalig dat twee vrijwilligers met een oude verwarde vrouw van 91 jaar zo behandeld worden en zo lang moeten wachtte.
Op de gipskamer hadden ze even moeten vragen naar de algemene toestand van de dame en haar leeftijd.
Je bent daar echt een nummer. En dan stoppen ze er nog andere nummer tussen door. Slechtte ervaringen dus.

Always had bad experiences with this company.
Yes, I call it a company because it's anything but a hospital. I even want to call them murderers because my son died because of them.
Not only my son, I have unfortunately lost more from my family. Most long story to type here. According to the documents I received, my son was 3 years older than me (the father) during birth ?? So he died immediately and was no longer offered any help. I was allowed to sort it out. Meanwhile they use data and photos of my deceased son, they received this permission from me on 1 condition and that was that I first wanted the photos myself. I received these photos with difficulty after 1.5 years. Was only a simple mail, so 1 click. That click lasted 1.5 years.
They say that the care is well organized in the Netherlands, but I think zmc is not in the Netherlands, but in relegistan where compulsory health insurance also lets you down, at least I think it is the zmc that can still take many examples of hospitals in Verwegistan !! Because owee if you had a visit to a hospital in relegistan, the procedure changes immediately.

Something else, including why I call it a company ...
Years later I receive a letter stating that I owe them 40 euros for not fulfilling an appointment? Which appointment ?? I no longer do business with this company but can still just pay a bill?

Dear readers, if you are a bit sensible then choose a hospital that is an hour away if necessary, finally you will be helped faster because in t zmc you will have to wait at least 4 hours and then receive a "TOP" treatment ...

Taking blood that had to be taken to another test center was taken away much too late and can therefore no longer be used. I am very disappointed in zmc. I think they act very badly and people unfriendly. No apologies are ever made for their actions. I would prefer to give 0 stars and I do not recommend this hospital to anyone. Go somewhere else if you have the means. The fact that they don't even look at reviews says enough. If you have a free choice in healthcare, make sure you never go to this hospital.

We are on first aid on Saturday with my father because he was really sick, we didn't have to be a doctor to see that. He was examined, about 6 hours later we were sent home again. Tuesday after that he had a high fever and he hardly reacted anymore, called the doctor again and referred, again investigated and when a hefty bacterial infection was discovered well I will tell you, he already had that Saturday before that. Three weeks in the hospital, on the drip with anti biotics. After 5 days the infusion went out and a day later inflammation again. There was a deli and my father was left to his own devices. No care was taken to see if he ate, lost 9 pounds and we really thought he wouldn't make it, so bad all of them. I spoke to a doctor once during those three weeks and even then it was not clear where the infection came from. They fired him with a fungal infection in the mouth outrageous. He has been transferred to Purmerend, the care circle for recovery and rehabilitation. Man man what a difference, you saw him get stronger with a few days, respect for the care there in Purmerend. I have no good word about the Zmc in Zaandam, outrageous how they treat patients, yuck !!! And now see the answer below! Such a wonderful standard message that they send to everyone, nothing personal about it, you remain a number!

Since they changed their place to a new building t...

Since they changed their place to a new building the services are completely becoming better. The staff are friendly more than in the past. Everything is clear and clean, you can know your way easier than at the old building. However I think the care can be much better, I don t like to hear from a specialist doctor to say you have to be happy that we didn t find anything! And I had pain that hurt, they cannot find anything and I have to be happy!!!

Last Friday I accidentally ended up in Zaandam Hospital, really true, fantastic hospital, very friendly and hard-working people. sisters, doctors, emergency room, operating room. thanks everyone for the care and treatment. I knew there were some negative stories (there is always something of course ..), but your dedication and kindness may be a great example for all other Dutch hospitals. Keep working fine and hard. You deserve at least as far as I am concerned the 5% :) Thanks again really. Thick 8.7

Super nice hospital from the outside. Fortunately, the inside does not yet have to be seen. Expert staff including a pediatrician who saved our daughter 14 years ago by acting decisively and expertly. Hats off !!!

It is really a drama !!!! Check in main entrance, to outpatient clinic, check in outpatient clinic, visit doctor, referral blood lab, check in main entrance, to blood lab check in piece, 30 men in waiting room, 1 nurse, everyone is suddenly cito who arrives afterwards, then it takes 45 minutes and 4 patients are helped out of the queue and the worst is we still have to go to radiology so check in again at main entrance, hope everything works and then wait for hours again !!! Nice hospital but tough!

Signage is a nightmare. Thank you for registering centrally, but it didn't work for me both times, so I went to the desk anyway. You will then receive a ticket to scan at the right clinic. But when you come to ENT for dental surgery, there is a small note that their waiting room is farther away. Apparently they get angry if you stay in the front waiting room, it turned out with another patient. Today I am at radiology. Another note: always report to counter 0.12. Which counter? Oh wait: a miniscule sign shows that this must be 0.12, after I have walked back and forth where. Why are there a large '1' and '2' on the counter, but not a large '0.12' sign on the ceiling?

This is crazy, they don't even listen. Have been walking around with the same complaints for months, but the more often you come back, the less they listen.
Set their own priorities above yours, listen to your complaints nuet because we are such great doctors with such a great education. No, don't worry, that worsens your complaints, I was told after I shrink from the pain for the 5th time at the emergency room.
You are not even taken seriously.
After a collonscopy, time was only made 3 weeks later for a follow-up appointment with an internist.
At the same appointment they dare to be 10 minutes late and blame me for that.
Then no time was even made, should not ask my questions because they had no time for it.
I should have come earlier while waiting there for a ************** half an hour without any welcome or care.
I am still very concerned about my bowel problems because they have not been resolved.
Besides, printing a result on paper is too much to ask here.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND HERE EVERYONE FOR YOU WILL NOT BE HELPED HERE
And if you DO want to be helped, go to the VU MEDICAL CENTER AMSTERDAM because there they take your complaints seriously

Beautiful and modern hospital and fine gynecology, but reception with always faulty scanning poles and few reception staff is always a disaster! This time there were four employees at the poles to explain, especially to the many elderly people, how they should be used .... then go and celebrate with four people at the desk to help people. It is annoying when you feel a number in a hospital immediately upon arrival, especially when you are ill or older. Get out of that system and just speak to people in person. In addition, repeat agreements are now only made by post, apparently a request from the hospital to change a scheduled appointment did not come to me ... so I did not have an appointment on that day. Fortunately, the receptionist in gynecology has managed to get me in between, for the staff nothing but praise!

What a bad hospital. Called yesterday to make an appointment based on referral doctor. All laughter in the background, they would call you back didn't happen. Today again called several times and it finally appears that I cannot be helped and must look for another solution where it cannot be said where .... Why do I pay so much money per month for such a bad service ???

Vorige week donderdag met mijn zojuist met geweld ...

Vorige week donderdag met mijn zojuist met geweld overvallen zoon naar de spoedeisende hulp geweest, nou ze kunnen het woord spoed hier wel schrappen. Wij hebben hier 4! uur gezeten voor in totaal misschien 10 minuten onderzoek.
Na 20 minuten een eerste intake gehad en daarna begon het wachtdrama, de werknemers zijn allemaal heel aardig maar weten helemaal niets behalve "dat het nog even duurt"
Er was maar een SEH arts aanwezig en op een gegeven moment werd er zelfs een patientenstop ingevoerd.
Na 4 uur werd er nog een CT scan gemaakt en daar zouden wij nog weer zeker een half uur op moeten wachten.
Wij hebben toen gefrustreerd na al het wachten besloten om weg te gaan want het middel was intussen erger dan de kwaal.
Ik raad een ieder aan om ziekenhuizen in de buurt te bellen voor wachttijden op de SEH ''s want dit gebeurt vaker in het ZMC.

Ik ben zondag 4 juni om 17.30 uur bij de huisartse...

Ik ben zondag 4 juni om 17.30 uur bij de huisartsenpost naar binnen gegaan en na een kort gesprek met een huisarts is er meteen een ECG gemaakt en ben ik gelijk vervoerd naar de afdeling Cardiologie en kreeg ik meteen een kamer op de hartbewaking. Na diverse tests en onderzoeken bleek dat ik rijp was voor een pacemaker. De verzorging en verpleging was geweldig! Allemaal vriendelijk en kundige mensen ontmoet, met name Tirza was erg leuk en onderhoudend!
Dinsdag tegen de middag werd ik naar de operatie kamer gebracht en vervolgens geopereerd, dat ging super, geen pijn gevoeld! Daarna kreeg ik een andere kamer met alweer hele leuke verpleging, iedereen was daar ook reuze aardig! Werd ook daar weer goed verzorg en ik wil met name Ingrid daar voor bedanken. Donderdag kreeg ik ontslag maar dat had wat voeten in de aarde en omdat het erg druk was duurde het nogal lang voor de pacemaker technicus bij mij kon komen maar zij bleef proberen om de zaak te bespoedigen. Toch wel veel gelachen!
Nogmaals veel dank aan iedereen die mij verzorgd en verpleegd heeft!
Ik voel mij mede door de pacemaker een stuk beter!

In 1997 kreeg ik een maagbandje. De informatie en de behandeling daarna waren heel goed. En door goede
begeleiding ben ik van maat 56 naar maatje 40 gekomen. En het zit er nog steeds en blijft zijn best doen mij
het maatje 40 te laten houden.
In 1999 kreeg ik borstkanker, ook bij deze ernstige ziekte heb ik zeer goede bijstand en behandeling
gekregen. Ik ben En blijf nog steeds heel erg tevreden met de artsen en verpleegkundige, en niet vergeten
de assistenten van het ZMC.
Dit jaar kan ik zeggen dat ik al 20 jaar een goede verstandhouding heb met het ZMC.
Het ZMC is niet om de hoek bij mij, want ik woon in Julianadorp.

Er wordt heel veel negatieve reacties geplaatst. Het kan kloppen dat je vaak heel lang moet wachten. Maar zodra je geholpen wordt is het echt heel goed.
Ben 13 december geopereerd.
Elke arts en verpleegkundigen waren super!!
Ondanks te weinig personeel besteedde ze met geduld veel tijd voor mij.

This is a very nasty business. what an ignorant doctors and nursing. they certainly do not deserve a salary increase. the nursing staff is only flirting with the doctors. as soon as doctors are out of the picture, they think they are the god all-powerful that you can't say anything about. what a desperate company. they put you alive in the coffin
the doctors also do not represent anything. there will undoubtedly be some good ones, but most are ignorant and prefer to see you die literally. I have more words but let it be ..... try to stay away from this hospital ...

Volgens dokter Noorda tussen de oren.
Maar in werkelijkheid stukkende spronggewricht.
Stukkende binnen en buiten meniscus + kapotte voorste kruisband aan beide knieen.
Totaal 6 x operaties moeten ondergaan bij een echte orthopeed.
Door medische blunder van dokter Noorda mijn baan en mijn huis kwijtgeraakt.
Ik leef inmiddels al 17 jaar in ellende door hem.

I definitely did not feel like a person in this hospital but a number in the system. Radiology department was friendly.
But the Orthopedic surgeon is almost in a hurry. No time to have a normal conversation, because mister was already walking out.
For me, the AMC noooooooever ever again. And finally misdiagnosed. And such a man only costs. Can I get my money back. Not happy, money back......
Bunch of pocket fillers that orthopedic surgeon !!!!!

Schaamteloos, onthutsend en bizar, het nieuws wat vandaag 08-08-2020 naar buiten kwam over de " elite medewerkers " van het ziekenhuis die zich zelf in onderonsje met de Raad van Bestuur een coronabonus hebben gegeven!
Hoe maak je de betrokkenheid, eensgezindheid en saamhorigheid die in deze tijd zo belangrijk is volledig kapot. Ziekelijk hoe de afdeling communicatie hier weer een slinkse draai aan weet te geven.
Lang geleden heeft mijn vrouw hier haar verpleegkunde opleiding gedaan. Zij werkt al 10 tallen jaren elders als een trotse verpleegkundige maar voelt zich ook nog verbonden met het oude ziekenhuis De Heel.
De Raad van Bestuur heeft geen enkele blijk van waardering getoond voor de mensen die in de frontlinie staan.
Tijd voor een andere Raad van Bestuur en Raad van toezicht die echt met alle medewerkers een succes wil maken van dit mooie Zaanse ziekenhuis.

Slechte zorg. Niet voor niets zijn alle neurologen die vanuit het OlvG West in het ZMC werkten weer terug gegaan naar het Olvg West. Ik zit op mijn plek bij het OlvG.
Gratificaties voor de zorgmanagers van dit ziekenhuis. (bron: de Telegraaf) Ridicuul is hier een eufemisme bij. Kan er een boek van schrijven wat ik er allemaal heb meegemaakt . En dat is geen fraai beeld van het Zaans Medisch Centrum, dat kan ik u wel vertellen.

Due to an allergy, I have been on the day admission and in intensive care, can not say anything but well cared for.

I am also very satisfied with the allergology department, very pleasant staff and very professional.

What strikes me most about the new hospital is the human way you are treated.

Have had some bad experiences in the orthopedic department of the zmc in the past and have therefore diverted to Slotervaart hospital.
And it has been very helpful there to date.

Think there (ZMC) is very different per department how good or how bad they are.

It is always advisable to find out what the best hospital is for you at the moment.

Really believe that every hospital has its good and bad sides.

We leave the past for what it is and
for now the ZMC gets 4 out of 5 stars from me.
Why not 5 stars, I was sent to the wrong department at the beginning, very sloppy.
Probably due to the short schedule and maybe a bit of novelty but still.

And thanks to Google again for the opportunity to post a review that is just posted.

Nicely decorated new hospital. But why is the psychiatry department separate from it in an ugly decorated building with hard chairs and where you can't even order coffee? There are not even cups to get water in the toilet! It is outrageous that this department is so disadvantaged!

Today arrived with my wife at the emergency room through the doctor.
Gallstones and the gallbladder must come out.
I was in the hospital from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm, while my wife is vomiting freezing cold and has severe pains, she can go home again, surgery is no use today,
No infections have been affected so bye July 30th,
So in short, you should not be allowed to rot away from the pain, drink food and puke your lungs.
And that for at least 8 days.
This is how zmc deals with his patient, crazy for words and your own but squinting in medical costs.

We are extremely grateful to Dr. Looysen, who gave Stella de Boer a referral for expiryal treatment at the V.U. med. Centre.
The medicine (Nivolumab) was / is a success !!! (is now also a legalized medicine)
Stella is now 2 years further as expected .... will see her grandchild turn 1 year ...
We are now again that we are planning trips with our boat.

Doctor Looysen thank you very much and you are doing well !!

Nice fresh new building. Staff very friendly. New system with screens and waiting numbers is not always clear. TV screens also hard to see from some angles. And a coffee machine near the plaster room would be nice! Parking is too expensive. If it were in the center it would be fine, but on the outskirts of town 2 for half an hour is absurd. From now on stand at the MacDonalds for free and just cross over!

The waiting times for taking a blood sample are far too long. Now I have to wait 1 hour for the second time. But if it is your turn at the end of the day, and is helped by a very friendly and stunning nurse who accidentally dropped her new tubes, waiting is suddenly a lot less serious. Really a beautiful girl!

-Geheel kind onvriendelijke behandeling.
-Een opgejaagd gevoel vanaf oproepen.
-3 volwassen houden haar in fysiek in bedwang om haar onder narcose te brengen. Moeder gepasseerd in dit proces.
Dochter vechtend in paniek onder narcose gebracht.
- dochter wakker gemaakt ipv rustig wakker worden. Heel erg van slag nog steeds aan het vechten en ontroostbaar.
- niet gedronken of ijs gegeten. Wel gespuugd. NARCOSE NOG NIET UITGEWERKT! Desondanks weggestuurd omdat de volgende patient er al aankwam.
Wederom een opgejaagd gevoel dus.

Dit is niet hoe het verteld werd aan ons. Van te voren werd gezegd dat ze rustig kon bijkomen. Onder narcose brengen zou in alle rust gaan.
We zijn bang dat nu erg traumatisch voor haar was en dat ze hier last van kan hebben. Wij hadden haar mentaal goed voorbereid.

My experience with this hospital is directly opposed to the opinions expressed by others. I am in this hospital very regularly. The specialists and caretakers are all equally friendly and (professionally) competent. Of course there are disadvantages, but it is and remains human work.

My surgery was delayed for a very long time in anticipation of a (not too exciting) conversation with an anesthesiologist. Still 5 stars because I was very satisfied with the final operation. Also the system that you can scan your ID and then you are sent to the desired location is very nice.
