Nikola Tesla Airport Belgrade (formerly known as Belgrade Airport or Surcin Airport; it is the largest airport in Serbia and an important hub of Belgrade's transport network.
The airport in honor of Nikola Tesla since 2006 bears today's name. The airport is located 18 km west of downtown Belgrade. From airline airports, passengers are transported by 33 airlines to 91 destinations in 38 countries on 4 continents.
Nikola Tesla Airport is the parent hub of Er Serbia, the national air carrier of the Republic of Serbia. The airport is the hub of the low-cost airline Vizer, followed by the air services of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and air taxi companies Er Pink, Prince Aviation, Infiniti Aviation and Eagle Express. In 2018, 5,651,105 passengers passed through the airport.
The international company Vinci Airports has taken over the management of Nikola Tesla Airport as of December 21, 2018.
