It is a good space and venue for events, with some interesting shops, and a connection to the library. There are lifts. Those with mobility issues should be careful of the tapered steps.

I love going to the piece hall great shopping and food place to eat. Lots off different shop to look around. Parking free around piece hall on a Sunday.

Excellent renovation has introduced good cafes, a Gin bar and shops as well as historical and educationally informative displays, in a number of the units around the Piece Hall.

Great place to visit and wounder round the shops. Kids enjoyed Easter clue trail

What a fantastic place to go. Who would have thought that this was in Yorkshire could have been anywhere in Europe.

Loving piece of working history this place. Revamp has brought it up to where it should rightly be with some lovely little shops hiding away in its long corridors. Great gin bar down there too. Oh and before you leave you have to go to the sweet shop at the top entrance. It's ace!!!

No green grass so if a child falls on the concrete is going to hurt itself

Amazing space. I like the blend of the old and the new post redevelopment. Still hard to see what shops and businesses are actually there though from the ground level.

Amazing place, right in the centre of Halifax. Ancient historical interest, recently refurbished with quaint shops, market, and cafes. A definite ' go to' for all ages. Close by parking.

The historic architecture is really interesting and there are a lovely range of boutique shops to browse. There is a deli and a bar however they are quite small and seating is limited. The recently renovated square chapel building houses a brand new library, bar and theatre.

Lots of empty shops .your bags are searched and not a lot going on I won't be going again

A beautifully restored building. Shops & exhibitions behind each pale green doors. Good cafe's and can even treat yourself to a cocktail.

Lovely afternoon and happened across the Chow Down event by pure chance.

It is always a nice place to visit, Christmas time you find it very festive and loads to do. Lovely attraction for Halifax.

What a waste of good money. All this place needed was something going on every week.

What an impressive building with lovely quaint and impressive shops full of art and crafts and much more! Well worth visiting for the building and to find some real quality merchandise. Most impressed by this lovely place.

Had breakfast there, food was excellent and the staff were very professional. Well worth a visit.

Good now after refurbishment. Could do with a few more shops.

Went to eureka and had a nosey in here as it's just over the road. Really nice independent shops. Good to see.

Not a cheap place but a good place

This is a fantastic place to visit just for the architecture! This is just as well as, at the moment, there are still quite a few empty shop spaces. However, the shops that are open are genuinely offering something different. Good place to buy some presents for people. Couple of good places to eat and plenty of choice in the surrounding streets. Great event space in the middle- I want to go back next Summer when there is an event that uses this space.

Nice place. Not too much to see but it's a pleasant visit.

Although a lot of the units on the top floor were empty there were some charming shops on the first 2 floors. You have to go looking because the signs are discrete to fit in so until you explore it's not immediately apparent what is available. It was a lovely day so that added to the pleasure. The rest of Halifax is a bit nondescript but the Piece Hall is charming.

Was so looking forward to seeing this lovely old building after it has been renovated. Sadly I was disappointed. So much gleaming new concrete it looked like a new build. Some greenery would help soften the overall appearance. There are some interesting shops but many of them over price. Staff however were all extremely pleasant and friendly.

A plaza of peace and relaxation with lots to entertain the senses.

Not very cold on a cold day but I can see it has potential in a nicer day, nice gin bar to cure me hang over as well

Lots of good shops and it's got a great new look now it's been renovated

Looks fantastic after the renovation. Also more lively now that most of the ship units are taken.

It was very atmospheric over the Christmas period - pretty lights, bands playing carols, a couple of fairground stalls, the "teepee " with real fire, coffee and beer bars...
The refurbishment has made it look cleaner and more welcoming without taking away any of the character and almost all of the units were filled. An impressive new entrance has been created with sweeping steps flanked by a new library building and the Industrial museum (open on weekends). We really enjoyed it

One of the best tourist destinations in West Yorkshire. In addition to the shopping and dining opportunities, the venue also host regular top-quality events such as Antiques Roadshow.
