Lots of nice little independent shops but most are overpriced. Nice cafe. All around the outside of a large courtyard which could be made more attractice by adding some greenery instead of all the concrete. Not impressed.

Really interesting place. Lots of independent shops, that are reasonably priced. Museum is well set out. Plenty to do including several eating places. Free heritage guide runs a few times daily. Highly recommended.

Looks nice and clean after the renovation. Could do with a little bit of grass inside, or some trees, as it is very bare. To say there are a fair number of shops inside, there is very little to buy or do (when considering the size of the place.

What a treasure, beautiful place, lots of small artisan shops and places to sit and have a coffee taking in atmosphere . We took our dog and was welcome in nearly all the shops, great place and great architecture.

An amazing historical establishment to visit with plenty of shops. There's a book shop, sweet shop, awesome hairdressers and some lovely paintings on the stairwells. My only qualm is that the signage of each shop looks the same so it can be hard to find the shop you are looking for.

Should absolutely be using this place more. Get more acts and bands here. We saw Father John Misty in May and it was incredible here. Only draw backs were lack of toilets and not enough food stalls.

A good selection of shops, cafes & bars but not great value for money. A white elephant tourist trap. Come and have a look around but then check out what the rest of Halifax has to offer! Some awesome places nearby that are leagues ahead of some of the establishments inside.

Visited during covid 19 so things were very quiet. Its an amazing space and I can imagine it is jumping in normal times. Some quirky shops that you certainly don't find on the High Street. Lovely restaurants. Will visit again if I find myself in the area again

Fantastic and iconic venue in Halifax. Plenty of classy and cooky shops, but not all of the units are full yet.
Only a few minutes from the train station.
Imagine a bigger, outdoor version of Leeds Corn Exchange.

It's a fun and nice place, but today, the shops close at 4 o'clock
Only one cafe was opened.

Stunning newly renovated building, full of small eclectic range of shops bars and restaurants with big courtyard event space in the middle. Enjoyed my potter around. Plenty of parking nearby. Also near the centre of Halifax. Well worth a visit.

This is always well worth a visit, the shops are interesting and varied, and there is always something going on. This year the Hygge tent has been replaced by two carnival-theme tents. This has created a different atmosphere; one of drinking more than socialising! That being said, the bar tent is pretty inside with stained glass and separate booths (though they do look a bit ramshackle from the outside), and the events on offer have something for everyone.

Fantastic building, great selection of interesting independent shops. It is possible to get refills of washing liquids, fabric conditioner etc. if you take your own container, helping reduce plastic waste.

Great

Ended up here after a few years of living away. It's remarkable what they've done with the place. Beautiful water features, shops and atmosphere, coupled with the history - it's worth a look if you're ever in the area.
