Very impressed by the tasty veggie options available. Lovely stuff that felt a bit unique to the normal dim sum.

Probably the best place to have dim sum in London.
Pricey compared to Chinatown restaurant but definitely worth it.
I really wanted to like this place. I've been seeing ads on FB, hearing good feedback from friends, I finally decided to splurge and treat myself.
My experience didn't really justify the price they ask for (luckily I went with eat out help out, so there's that), expectations were high and I'm a bit disappointed. I'm sure there are less established restaurants out there able to offer a similar experience to yauatcha, but for a smaller price.
The food was good, especially the dim sum - the mains were ok, I wasn't too impressed tbh.
I went with my partner and we took 2 different set menus, the explorer and the taste of yauatcha
We also got a drink, the Tokyo cooler - we weren't impressed. The dim sum from my menu arrived in 30 minutes, my partner had to wait 45 minutes for his first dish. The service in general was really slow, it took us forever to finish the meal. When time for dessert came (1 macaron each?!), The waiter told us that (luckily) they were out of macarons, so they brought us a chocolate cake instead - I'm sure we traded up.
We dined outside which was pleasant enough, but after seeing the interiors, with music, water tanks etc, I fell like we've missed out on the vibe, so I'd recommend eating inside.
There are a lot of expectations with a place of this calibre and I left unsatisfied.
I don't think I'll go back, unfortunately.
disappointing!!! The dishes are at a medium and lower restaurant level not what I expected from a Michelin starred restaurant.
Really does not justify the price.
Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.
The quality of food here as decreased significantly over the years. I only ate half of most of my dishes because they had such a lacklustre taste. The kitchen is also unlikely to agree to make any changes to dishes for you - they probably cook the dishes in large bathes.
I'd avoid it and head to duck and rice nextdoor or Hakkan.
It barely scraped a 2 star the food was that underwhelming
Lovely tasty Chinese food. Highly recommended...worth the visit. I have been here many times. Dim sums and prawn toast are delicious, also a good variety of cocktails. Overall a great restaurant and atmosphere.
Terrible service. They brought us the wrong dishes twice, showing them to us and then making us wait hungry for a very long time after that.
Worst thing was when we asked for more hot water in the teapot and they brought it back without the tea in the pot...
My favourite all around dim sum spot in London! Beancurd cheungfun is awesome! It's consistently good and love star-light ceiling downstairs.
Great food and very nice server !
Will return
I love the dim sum but I hate the deco. I agree with some of the reviews that the decor is utterly pretentious and trying too hard. Whilst the dim sums are a bit fusion they are delicious and fresh. Price is expensive particularly drinks and we try to come here only for dim sum and not have a big a la carte meal (which you should go to A Wong for that!!) There is a lot of staff so service is good. Desserts I am very disappointed as there are no authentic Chinese desserts to finish the meal.
As a Chinese people I don't think the food worth the price. You can find decent Chinese restaurants in Chinatown area for more reasonable price. On the day I went with my friend the restaurant was half empty and yet service was not matching the price and it took a very long time for our food to come to the table, some are quite easy to make, have no idea why.
Always go with friends. Reasonable price but a lot food. Taste match with the price. is my favorite.
Great place for a special celebration. It is rather pricey, especially drinks
I had a very special evening. The wagyu beef puff was to die for. The desserts yummy. All in relaxing surroundings.
I thought I had tasted the best Chinese cooking but Yauatcha was even better. Can't recommend highly enough. The crab dumplings were full of crab and the prawn cheung fun was a texture and taste sensation with the crispy tofu. from the mains, I particularly enjoyed the Spicy aubergine, sato bean, okra and french bean with peanuts.
Ver expensive but good food and the surprise at the end is the great patisseries !
The food is very nice - but there's a significant difference in the quality between this restaurant and its sister restaurant in Broadgate Circle
Amazing experience! The restaurant has a cosy setting and it is beautifully decorated. The dumplings were very good, as in the filling was properly done, not a mashed up mix of meat or scallops, you could actually see what you were eating. The mains were delicious and the desert was incredible! We enjoyed every bite and will definitely come back for more!
Very slow service, we waited more than an hour to get the first starter. The wine was also not very good! Food was ok not so impressive!
The first table of lunch, no reservation, no place to book online, it was originally thought that it could not be eaten. The store is big, there are many seats, there is a place to go, happy. The waiter was enthusiastic and patient. After finishing the meal, let us know a little more. Half eaten, I don t see the duck that I called before. The waiter came forward and asked if we still need it. I am afraid that we will not do it if we eat well. careful. Mushroom salad, refreshing; roasted duck, crispy, not oily but open in the mouth; with duck cake, dry, and easy to stick together, it is recommended to eat quickly; tea, good, brewed Put it in the pot, it won't make you suffer; Niuhe, delicious, bean sprouts are refreshing, Niuhe is also refreshing, the oil is a little bit fried; chili oil, delicious, chili is spicy enough, oil is not. Macarons bought one each, have not eaten, and look forward to it. It is definitely recommended to eat.
Incredible Chinese cuisine. Must try the venison puffs, they are to die for. The sweet and sour pork is also yummy. The French pastry desserts look pretty, but are not worth it and not made fresh. But this is a Chinese restaurant and the Chinese food is spectacular.
The dim sum was delicious, especially the har gau and venison puff. Service was acceptable but could be improved.
Deliciouses food overpriced since reopening after lockdown
It will not disappoint. Some of the tastiest food I've had.
Highly recommend the cheung fun, it's also nice to have dim sum in a cosy atmosphere with nice service - which is not typical of chinese restaurants :)
I love dim sum in China town, but when I feel going a bit more upmarket Yauatcha is the place I go for truely superb Chinese cuisine.
It is some what more pricy but it is really a case of you get what you pay for. Love it.
Everything here is insanely delicious. From the wagyu beef puffs to the strawberry desserts, you can't miss on this large dim sum menu.
While the atmosphere is quite relaxed this one Michelin Star restaurant didn't skimp on the flavor or decor. My only downside is the other patrons... each time I visited Yauatcha I was seated next to some overly posh people, but it did allow for some great eavesdropping like, "Dim sum is the new sushi."
The impeccable service and attention to detail sealed the 5th star, it's pretty clear how this restaurant got a Michelin Star.
Fantastic food and atmosphere, great staff, would highly recommend!
Excellent food&desert, a bit overpriced though and staff can do with being more polite
Book to ensure you get a table, sit back and wait for the beautifully crafted and presented taste explosions to be delivered in a steady stream. The set menu with some warm sake is for me the best way to discover new flavours and textures. We were too full for desert but our waitress tempted us with a delicious confection
One of my favorite restaurants in London. Excellent dim sum and modern decor, cool. NB: the portions are very generous, be careful not to have eyes bigger than your stomach.
Lovely food great ambiance, definitely a place for dates and groups. The duck is my favorite
Food was great though main courses were in quite small portions. Very nice atmosphere but the place was very noisy.
Very nice modern Chinese restaurant. Tasting menu is very good, and a lot for 2.
Outstanding, high quality creative dim sum beautifully served. Their food is a feast for the eyes as well as the mouth. Professional service. You do pay for what you get though - prices accompany the quality.
Amazing food, had a mix up with prices - think the new online menu could be clearer - but manager cleared it up for us quickly. Would recommend, just check prices first!
Amazing vegan options including vegan duck! Really delicious
Bad experience!!!The taste is not bad. The environment is a combination of a bar and a club. There is nothing about Chinese style. The service is terrible, disaster!! It seems that the waiters are the customers. It is wasting time to eat in this restaurant. It takes about 20 minutes to half an hour for one dish( dumplings, not any seafood, lobster and steak).
Best dim-sum spot in all of London. Yauatcha is owned by Hakkasan, so quality is very high, unique, super delicious, BUT it's not cheap. Expect to leave super satisfied with your meal but also with a decent dent in your wallet.
Delicious restaurant offering original and succulent dim sum. A certain price but worth the detour
Amazing food and cocktails and incredible service from Vincenzo. He did a fantastic job to make us feel comfortable and provided a very nice anniversary treat. Thank you!
I've eaten here a few times now, and they've been exceptional every single time, with no compromise on the quality of food and service.
Outstanding crowd! Its surely fun and exciting place to anyone. The spinach cube was so great. Dim sum dishes was my favorite of all. Really nice place to enjoy and staffs are simply amazing. Excellent service and facilities. I really enjoy a lot! :)
Highly recommend the Supreme dim sum platter - some of the best I've had in London
Excellent Chinese food for the Western palette.
We had the Signature Tasting menu and it was delicious, and very very filling. I would certainly only suggest having it on an empty stomach.
The Dim Sum was good, but not amazing in our opinion. The ingredients chosen do not match the style of cooking very well, so while a few were great, most were a bit boring.
The mains were amazing: melt in the mouth beef, huge prawns, perfect scallops, and tasty veggies. Cannot fault!
The deserts look great, but are fairly standard taste wise. A decent end for the meal.
The drinks menu is quite well balanced, so lots of excellent choices.
A very good restaurant all in all.
Very tasty. High price. Business at 35 pounds. Highly recommended
Very good quality food; and reasonably priced given it has a michelin star.
Love it here - one of my favourite restaurants in London. Downstairs is a great spot for dinner with friends or more of a low key dinner.
Always a great experience and one of the best modern Chinese restaurants in London. A sample of some of my favourites below, you should definitely add the crispy duck as main!
Aestheticly pleasing. Drinks and food 10/10 (I personally suggest the lychee and coconut cocktail ) staff were friendly and attentive to my needs. Will definitely be back 100%recommend
Very good and plentiful, but far too noisy. Very difficult to get along with your neighbor across the table. Impeccable service, very good cocktails.
Maybe just a bad day? Jasmine rice dry and cold, replaced but cold again! Prawn and scallop dish cold too but they replaced, however not as tasty as usual
Dim sum was very good but that was not what we ordered, they gave us the wrong order! Just a complete mess!
One of the staff members called Rachel was very nice and did her best to resolve the mess bless her
Excellent dim sum for palates who love quality Chinese cuisine, unfortunately very difficult to experience at home. The place has enjoyed a Michelin star for years now. Modern and youthful environment but, remember, it is a place of a certain level.
The foods weren t so fresh, and cold...very low quality. It was my second time visited the restaurant, because the first time I had a really nice dining experience and the food was great. But the second time was absolutely disappointed...
Top notch Asian fusion! I've been 4 times and each time I try something new and it's always immense! The crispy duck roll is insane.
on the expensive side with great food and ok service
Great food, service, atmosphere. What's not to like about this place
The dishes were simply amazing. Best Chinese restaurant I ve eaten at soo far in London. 4* because I ve heard the service has been better; only have restricted time slots to blame. I had the pork dim sums for starters and the pork ribs
Yauatcha is one of my favourite places to eat and drink in London. I often go there just for a cup of tea; the selection is amazing (with prices ranging from very low to very very high) and I'd particularly recommend the orchid tea. There's also a great range of macarons in weird and wonderful flavours that they switch up regularly.
The food is also wonderful, and I'd recommend getting a selection to share. We had the char siu buns, jasmine smoked ribs and Thai chicken, and all were delicious. The service is excellent, and the waiters are well-equipped to make recommendations. I find the price very reasonable given the quality of what's on offer.
Had better at the broadgate circle restaurant. Felt less like people were there for a meal deal. Food left on table far too long, difficult to catch waiters eye. Cocktails excellent. Tofu unreal. Wagyu puff as it should be. Squid a little chewy. Pak choi just ok.
The restaurant recommended a co-worker. The place is very well decorated. The staff is very attentive and cares about the good customer experience. The food is good although I was not surprised because I have eaten in Asian restaurants of similar quality. I really liked the chicken and the steamed pieces. I found the price a bit high, but acceptable for the type of location it is. I would recommend it to other visitors to London. I ended up happy to know the restaurant. A greeting!
Located in a trendy area, so there are tons of options before and after for meeting you party and drinks. It's packed to the gills on the inside with seating upstairs and down. The bar is at the back, which is kind of inconvenient, as it's tough to maneuver. Great for dim sum. I'd recommend the ribs and the spicy soft-shelled crab.
Very nice place at Soho for after work dinner or weekend gathering. Less one star is for their desserts at front, well.. the food is absolutely wonderful but can't say too much about the cakes or macaroons :( if you visit here, definitely try a wide range of Dim Sum but if possible, avoid house made macaroons and cakes as they're disasters, with the exception of a purple macaroon made out of some sort of tea==? nice wine selection too!
I am extremely outraged. A waitress just poured tea all over my jeans and shirt forcing us to go back to change and eat with wet clothes and they had the decency to ONLY REMOVE THE SERVICE CHARGE. Well done Yauatacha. I will not be coming back here again. Service charge is OPTIONAL! So how generous of you to offer this
Dim Sum is good others so so... Service is good... Price a bit high but could understand with their location and designs..... Try to avoid rush hours, seems they have problems with lining up orders when there's lots of customers
Incredible Dim Sum, great atmosphere and perfect service. It is slightly pricey but worth every penny. I have been several times and will keep on coming.
Probably the best chinese restaurant I've been in London! A little bit expensive but it's definitely worth visiting, just for the experience.
*Try dimsum with prawns!
Quite good dim sum, but what stands out are the desserts!
Real classy Chinese restaurant with awesome food....
Lovely place and delicious food. Service was just ok.
Cakes are excellent. Haven't tried the food but went there for dessert a couple of times. I prefer now to do some take away as the service has never been good.
A bit pricey restaurant but great atmosphere and service. Wagyu beef puff is incredible.
Fairly disappointing experience. I would give the food a 2 out of 5, compared to dozens of dim sum restaurants I've been to. They tend to mix some more expensive ingredients with the traditional recipe, but the outcome was not satisfactory.
The server was not attentive at all times. Plus, since we walked in and didn't have a reservation, we were given what they called a lower table. It should not exist at all. No wonder they lost a Michelin star last year.
In fact, it is still very delicious. But Michelin's star name is too loud, so it may be a bit disappointing.
The best dish I think is the crunchy sausage powder, and the other dishes are at the normal tea restaurant level.
I feel too tired of venison cake...
Great food but terrible service. We were incredibly disappointed for the price of the meal.
Very nice Chinese food with a modern twist. Less pricey then you would expect (it was lunch and no alcohol has been served). A bit loud in the underground floor. A bit of room for improvement in service although staff is nice.
Food is good, if not spectacular and the place is very noisy if you are sitting downstairs
Omg omg omg. My partner took me here for my birthday, my god the food was amazing, pricey but so worth it. A boogie night of greatness
Nice restaurant. The food is super tasty and fresh. It is pricey tho. Now with the Covid situation they have a small sitting area outside but it s not that cute. It s definitely worth going when the restaurant is fully open and you can sit inside
