The best place to take clients for lunch or dinner in London. Superb food, attentive staff and stylish, chic surroundings. Helenka Fletcher facilitates any especial requests so everyone can relax and enjoy.

Overpriced. Extremely Rude Staffs. Made a reservation at certain time but made to wait for 15 more minutes. What is the point of making reservation then?

Also, a staff spilt soy sauce on jumper and trousers, BUT DID NOT apologise and walked off LAUGHING. NOT coming again.

The food was good and quick but the service was terribly slow. Overall Duck & Rice down the road is better. Recommend the venison puff, chicken Shanghai dumpling, the macarons, and the inaya lulo dessert. The Champagne Sampan cocktail was also very good.

We ve been trying to find a good dim sum after our trip to Hong Kong and had so far not found anything worth talking about. Until Yauatcha. Their Dim Sum is legit! Some of what we tried is exactly like what we had in HK. I d come back here again and would recommend it. It is pricey but Michelin started chefs tend to be

Went here with some friends and found the food to be absolutely delicious. My favourites were the spicy soft shell crab and the dim sums. The restaurant had a dark, dim atmosphere, coupled with some ambient electronic music. Very well done.
The service however, could improve. We had different servers and found it a bit difficult to understand what they were saying. Their friendliness and attentiveness could also improve.

I have been at the 2 yauatcha restaurants in london multiple times over the last 3 years, and I really like their consistency in delivering some of the best dim sums I ever had. It is a bit expensive but really great dim sums. The patisserie is also good and they can take orders for birthday cakes. The only things I could say could improve is the seating, specially in Soho. I always feel the tables a bit small, to close to each others, and the seats very low on the ground which can be inconvenient for tall people.

Booked a table for 4 on new years eve 31/12/2018 and nearly chocked myself to death with a chunk of plastic ball. Everyone rushed in and the first thing on their mind was to take evidence away. They didn't replace my food nor they offered More

Excellent food. Extremely rude staff. Reminded us consistently that we had to be off of our table by a certain time. Wouldn't allow you to have a jug of tap water would only let you have tiny glasses that they kept forgetting to refill even when asked more than once!

It was delicious but i had bad experience that they ask me the donation 1pound. It's not suitable a restaurant ask to customer some kind of things like that. And plus, they give me wrong receipt which contains one more dish, and that was not just me, i saw they did wrong at the table by me. I hope there was no intention (because me and my neighbor was alone and asian girl., traveler.) but the food was very good, and reste of service was good enough too.

Went with a friend simply for evening dessert. We were graciously offered a table with great service provided a charming waiter and more.
The rasberry lychee dessert was by far an amazing recommendation which I'm still dreaming of days later.
The staff had me in giggles and were willing to respond to all my queries. Great to learn that Yautcha actually means Yau's home/kitchen

birthday disaster

birthday disaster

Visited the restaurant Saturday evening with friends to celebrate my birthday.

Food service was chaotic but fast to arrive, not a problem for us, enjoying the company of friends. However, when we were just before the dessert, a waiter approached us and said we should leave in next 25min because our 2h slots is finish.
I said its my birthday and I would like to enjoy the dessert and I do not appreciate people who offer so called hospitality to make me feel unwelcome but they did not care, manager called to the table offer free single drink only for me in return and with sarcastic smile said that unfortunately has nothing else to offer to us. I find his suggestion rather insulting and politely refused it.
While later the bill come to the table and they had added 13% service charge.
Sorry I'm not tipping 13% for this kind of service or rather extreamlyy lack of it.

Reigns supreme for Dim Sum..at a price! Had group dining options - "Dim Sum" and "Signature" (two persons each), out came a vast amount of amazing scrumptious food. Bill came to a heady sum, but there was so much fine food that it's hard to complain.

Excellent ambiance, excellent service, excellent food. Some of the best dim sums I had in London. I would recommend ordering a la carte rather than going for menus. The prices are a bit on the high side, but it's really a great spot formspecial occasions.

Food was nice, but the waitress who served us was quite unfriendly, maybe she expected us to order more food but my fd and I were not that hungry so we only spent like 75quids, didn't even say thank you or anything after we've paid the bill, just took the bill then left. For the price of this place receiving this kind of service, don't really recommend it :(

The WORST service ever. Nasty hostess went out of her way to attack and embarrass me on my birthday!
We were too stunned and upset to even order food after her continued insistence we PROVE we had a reservation even though they called us the day before to confirm. We were finally seated at the worst possible table but the damage was done. Save your money (and dignity) and skip this place.

In the UK for three years, the service of this store can be said to be a straight line down, the level of hygiene is getting worse and worse, and the speed of serving is slow to make people feel awkward. No service staff to help order

The best dim sums I had in a long time!! Each order comes with 3 dumplings. Around 3 to 4 orders are good per person. Hot and sour soup was also good. Atmosphere is casual for the price range of the place. Seats and tables not very comfortable but the food is worth the try. Book a table before going.

Had ribs, squid, mock goose and Kai Lan. Everything was edible although the different touches were a little off. Thought I tasted vanilla in the deep fried squid and mock goose had a heavy BBQ type sauce on it and no layers which is one of the reasons I originally ordered it. Basement atmosphere is noisy just like a Chinese restaurant should be

I went there with little expectations to be honest as often Chinese cuisine tastes different in Europe than it does there but I m completely under the spell! I can t describe how tasty and delicious everything was. Everything is great about this place : Food, atmosphere, decoration, service. It was easily one of my best night out in London. I d recommend to book a table on weekends although the restaurant is big, it can get quite busy and that s understandable! Will defo come again!

Fantastic service and the dim sum is so good. You can get all the different types of food you have tried when in asia. The tea selection is fantastic and you can get a great drinks selection. It is a bit expensive but well worth the money. You have to book as they get really full and they give you a time slot to eat in. That can be a bit of a down side but the food makes up for it.

Most overrated dim sum place in London. I wouldn't think it's refine high end Chinese when (1) they even didn't use bamboo shoot and not enough sesame oil in Har Gau (shrimp dumplings); (2) too much mushroom that covers other proteins' natural flavour in Prawn and Pork Shu Mai. Big flavour let down in the TWO MOST ICONIC AND ESSENTIAL dim sum. The service is average nothing special. Seriously if you're looking for dim sum just go over to China town more choices on 1/3 of the price.

Excellent Asian restaurant, wide choice and quality food, and the place is magical with its aquarium bar ...
By cons for the French do not forget your dictionary because some words of Asian food are not necessarily understandable for everyone ...

One of my favourite restaurants in London! Couldn t recommend highly enough! Amazing food, very good wine list/drinks and lovely staff. Please not thought that it can get quite noisy during weekends so it s not the place for a long, serious conversation.

The service need a bit of improvement. The waiter didn't even ask if we already finish before clean the table. The place is ok... bit tight! higher expectations for a Michelin Star restaurant! Food is ok. Good portions!

Overrated, expensive and lacking in flavor. The food pales in comparison to other Chinese restaurants out there... Much better Chinese food is available in Chinatown and at reasonable prices. I would give it a 1 star rating - had I been mistaken that it has a Michelin star?

The Venison Buns are an absolute delicacy. The whole super posh exclusive restaurant vibe is rather off-putting, intimidating and can make you feel uncomfortable, and it's as noisy as a pub on a Friday night, so choose it for the right occasions.
