Wyndham Westshore Hotel Review

Was able to check in early before going to a concert. Everyone was nice and courteous. Hotel was clean.

A quick place to stay on layovers. It is clean and you can park for $5 a day and catch an airport shuttle. The front desk is not going to be overly welcoming, but it gets the job done. I think i will pay a little more next time however after the party at my front door (complete with blunts) kept me up late.

Decent hotel, friendly staff, accommodations a little dated but overall good stay.

Not too bad. Bit of an odd layout. I got in late and there was no light by my door, but creepy. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, but instead of giving new complimentary hygiene bottles, they left the partially used ones.

This place need SERIOUS renovation, staff was pleasant. But, the hotel is dated and not clean.

Ancient and in major need of upgrades. Layout of room #s sends you on a journey. Corroded sink faucet, no vent in bathroom, carpet way past its life expectancy. Curtains didn't fully close, TV too small and doesn't get the channels listed. Much too expensive a room for what you get. Stay in a less expensive & nicer place further away from the airport

Nice, clean and quiet. Also conveniently located to many stores and restaurants

First if you have wyndham points they want you to call in your own points. When we stayed, the linen had an odor as if they washed them but I think they used very little chemicals. Also, when we checked out they charged an additional $24.51 to our card. When we called they had us on hold with out letting us what was happing. Thankfully, I called back and got Dmarius at front desk. The only somewhat useful person at that hotel. I really hope Wyndham can send secret shoppers so they know how much damage this place is doing to their name. NO STARS!!!

Professional staff, clean rooms, restaurant in hotel 3 star. Walk or drive a couple blocks to the Pancake House delicious food. The hotel has a pool , nice exercise room.

Would not go back. Very outdated, restaurant was not good.

It is very elegant that only conpania where travajo can pay.

If all you are expecting is a clean room to sleep before your flight, then this is the place. Rooms were great, staff very helpful but hotel looks horrible.

Great stay. Check in was excellent. Food and room service were excellent. Price was very reasonable. Location was nice. Hotel was quiet. A little dated but for the price I was pleased.

Was ok..they charged me a 50 deposit that took a week to get back

Fast Friendly service, clean spacious rooms and convenient to Tampa and Airport.

Housekeeping would open my door without knocking, even if I had the "do not disturb" sign on my door. They also looked through my stuff. Gross invasion of privacy. The rest of the staff was friendly and the grounds are nice, but I can not get over those incidents

Luckily it's just for 1 night! Smells like feet! Really old and dingy. Beds in our room felt like concrete.

Very simple but the breakfast took waaaayyy too long

The stuff crew was a wonderful people who are helpful with us.

Front desk was awesome helped us figure out the security deposit situation. They have the cheapest security deposit in town. They have a shuttle that runs from the airport and to what a lifesaver! The rooms where clean and a pleasure to stay at.

Nice looking place. I was only there for a conference but it looked like they had a nice bar and restaurant.

Beds uncomfortable. Carpet worn. Lobby is clean and modern. No microwave in room, 1 microwave for the entire floor located by the ice maker. Front door had 1/2 inch plus gap between the bottom and floor. Could see the walkway thru it.

Had no hot water for two days. Contacted Corporate. Local hotel promised me only 1 day credit, no contact with me yet.

The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We really appreaciated the shuttle service to the airport and back. The location was ok. The service was ok.

Rooms are clean and staff friendly. However, make sure to review all the charges in your receipt before you leave the hotel. There is an extra charged by the restaurant in my receipt. I called several times including right after I left. The Restaurant manager promised a correction to the error and a call back but haven't received any of them. The hotel simple washed their hands and didn't want to deal with the issue which is unacceptable since they allow the restaurant to charge your consumption to your room.

This place was discusting it was suppose to be a very nice inn from the pictures well guess what the pictures lied. The rooms smelled like cigarette smoke there is cracks in the walls the rooms are gross it was all wet and water dripping from the ceiling pure discusting I wouldn't even have a abortion in the room!

We had issues with the water constantly running in the shower. We couldn't get it to stop dripping. Other than that it was comfortable.

Had a nice stay. I had fun. But if you guys are gonna surprise me with a $50 deposit after I've checked in on my card and and then have the nerve to tell me it will take 3 to 5 days to get it back, I won't be coming back. Be forward with your guests. I would have paid in cash (like some cheap motel) and would be expecting it back on check out.

Would have given it 5 but I accidently left my sunglasses in my room after leaving and when I called to tell them my room number and situation, they kept sending me to some housekeeper manager number who wouldn't answer the phone and whose voicemail was full with messages leaving me unable to leave one. When I called back to the front desk they informed me no sunglasses were found. I was only there for 10 hours and did not leave my room. I know it's my fault for forgetting them but my expensive pair of sunglasses should have been returned to lost and found. I remember exactly where I left them too. After unpacking, there's only one other place I left them. Room 350.

The whole facility was very clean and it provided a quite relaxing environment.

Okay for 1 night stop over. Place rooms really need makeover

Came during renovations so I won't hold that against them. The front desk staff was really helpful

The temperature control is fantastic. As someone who is not well acquainted with Tampa's horrible---i mean humid, weather, it was an absolute godsend. The staff organize airport shuttles by demand, so if you sign up for a 5am shuttle to Tampa international, there will be a 5am shuttle. The staff was present and available to answer questions 24/7. The restaurant is overpriced even by hotel standards, the layout is beautiful but puddles of water form along the walkways to your rooms, which messes up the whole aesthetic. Be advised the hotel is located a stone's throw from a strip club (which may be either a pro or a con for you). It's proximity to the airport, a fantastic waffle house, and public transport make it a great location with moderately good execution. The rooms were pretty nice as well. No balcony in my unit, but blackout curtains with fantastic AC, free WiFi (that's a bit finicky) and friendly staff made it pretty worthwhile!

Good size room, room is pretty standard but nice. Having to go out of your room for the microwave is annoying tho. 4/5

Horrible dump of a place needs to be pulled to the ground & rebuilt. Staff major attitude at front desk horrible experience i even cancelled my 2 nite stay after seeing both rooms they offered me.STAY AWAY

Not bad when you get in the room but the hallway area reminds me of a prison cell block (As seen on tv)

I am not even at the hotel yet! I was told prior to booking our flight when we arrived at the airport and AFTER we collected our luggage we are to call the hotel to schedule a shuttle. After three calls and no answer i finally called the front desk who told me a shuttle will be here to get us in 10 minutes. This was at 8:45pm at 9:15pm when i called the hotel back the man at the front desk told me i don t know what happened i will send another shuttle when i asked him what he meant he didn t know what happened he snickered and said he doesn t know he will send someone now.... it will take 10 minutes it is 9:32pm and we are still waiting here..... completely unsatisfied and so upset we have been here almost an hour now alone and watched 8 other families come and go before us! Unprofessional and embarrassing i will never book here again...

Comfortable rooms, nothing extravagant, but comfortable. Staff was friendly and facilities are very clean. Very affordable as well, so a solid option for the area!

Dirty, elevator not working. Walkway not well lighted, seemed to be lacking survillance camras in common walkways. Unable to open room window.

The hotel is clean. The staff is friendly. We are very pleased with the Ramada.

Disappointed! Ads appear to be a hotel but it's really a motel. Room doors open straight to the outdoors. " Gentlemen's club" is right next door. Never again!

Has a meeting with my company. Stayed at the Hilton first for the meeting, then moved over to this hotel. What a BIG difference. It's a bit dated, bathtub was a bit rough to stand in from them trying to repair it. Felt like there were lifted dots of dried up paint.
At 9 am had the cleaning people meet on my floor, i was by the elevator and they were all speaking loud, I can't imagine if someone wanted to sleep in because of there loudness. This is not my cup of tea. Used to being in 4 or 5 star hotels. This was not one for sure. I'll be checking out.
I do have to say that the front desk people are very pleasant, very nice. That's why I gave it 3 star

Very nice the cleanliness of the hotel was very good and the air conditioning cooled very well

I had lunch at the royal orchid. They have a buffet for 15$. It was decent. Very flavorful but a bit on the spicy side for a lunch. The buffet was kept well stocked.

The room is satisfactory, but the food at their restaurant is marginal.

The bar closes early. Even when it's busy, the guy running the bar says 9:45 is last call. What the heck. I guess they do t want to make money.

The staff are amazing and helpful and the service was great. Centrally located next to the airport with plenty of places to eat around.

Nice outdoor bar and patio, with great service from the bartender Yanet. Solid draft beer selection, full bar. Didn't eat in the restaurant, but the space looks nice. Attended a Christmas party in the ballroom, which was well appointed and a lively party, but spent a good amount of time at the Royal Orchid bar.

Nice hotel, great central location. Free parking, nice lobby, good conference rooms with fast WiFi, and courteous staff.

Perfect airport hotel. It's always our choice the night before we leave Tampa area. They have a great pool clean rooms and their location is perfect. Many walkable restaurants and bars andmall across the street.

Room OK, but no laundry service only two self service washing machines.
