It was decent stayed 2days although a woman at the front desk had major crappy attitude for someone who s in the hotel industry, asking a simple laundry question about what level it was on got a unnecessary attitude filled response like its was the stupidest conversation she d had all day... and the room had a smell like it hadn t been cleaned in a while. But at least we had towels brought and beds made so guess there was a bright side.

Hotel was great. Got there a little before 3 and still was able to get my room. Warm welcome, clean room. It was close to everything. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Next time I visit I will definitely stay here again.

You get less than what you pay for... When I called for the airport courtesy shuttle, I was told "He's on his way [hotel is 3.4 miles from the airport]." After 2 more phone calls and 47 minutes later, I was picked up at Blue 1 waiting area. BTW, the van driver is also the weekend maintenance man, sooooo take a cab. We then checked in to the hotel and the gal behind the counter said that even though the internet says breakfast is included, it was not. She said that she knew it said "it was included online," but she is just "following the rules." We were provided with 3 different manager names, but she was unsure of the GM's last name. The room was clean, but smelled heavily of commercial cleaner, so we left the door open to air it out and compete with the smell of marijuana coming from the courtyard. After calling the front desk regarding the heavy marijuana smoke, we were informed it was legal and they would do nothing about it. Lesson learned: At this hotel, you actually get less than what you pay for when you just need an overnight stay! Never again...

Update: Party held in 3rd floor room with door open and people spilling onto landing and front desk staff told us at 945pm that quiet hours were not until 11pm. Seriously?!?! I originally gave this hotel 2 stars (disliked), but I just downgraded it to 1 star (hated) because zero stars is not a option! Do yourself a favor and stay at any other Tampa airport area hotel for your layover. As a level-8 Google reviewer, I can't remember ever giving only 1 star to any business of any industry, ever. Let's see what kind of copy and paste response I get from the hotel manager.

Very comfortable and conveniently located near the Airport. The staff were nice and professional. The time I stayed it was a little noisy but not a big deal.... overall a good stay and decently priced.

No microwave in the room, carpet is from the 70 s. The bathroom had caulking around tub, toilet and vanity like they just threw it on there. Dust ruffle on bed needs to thrown away along with the carpet. Sheets were very clean on the bed. Room door sticks, had a hard time trying to get in the room. I could go on and on about this mess of a hotel. I am so glad that I only had to stay there for one night. If I could give no stars I would. Never again. Plus the room stunk to high heaven and back from the Indian restaurant, I m not a fan of the smell.

Positive: Nice small room which is well kept and at a reasonable price. Negative: Only thing was there were many dirt marking in the bathtub with unusual paint layers covering them.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! Called the hotel at 11am to give a head s up that I d be checking in around 10pm. The man who answered said no problem, that he d left a note on my file saying it d be a late check-in. Got to the hotel at 10pm with my confirmation email in hand and right off the bat, Demarcus at the front desk said I can t find your reservation in our system, it looks like you ve been scammed. I told him that s impossible, I have the confirmation email and booked the hotel as a travel package through the Tampa Zoo, a reputable zoo. Demarcus said that didn t add up as they don t have a professional relationship with the zoo. I explained I even called ahead and the man who answered said he found my file and left a note on it. He asked what number I called and he said that s not our direct line. That s not the phone number listed on our business cards. I SHOWED him how the number I called is the number listed on Google and Demarcus looked utterly dumbfounded. I then called the Google number in front of him and DEMARCUS ANSWRED THE PHONE! AS I STOOD ACROSS FROM HIM STARING INTO HIS EYES! He STILL insisted this must be a scam. STILL! Saying scammers know how to reroute phone numbers. I then showed him Tampa Zoo s website and he found Ramada listed on their Travel Package page. Only then did he magically find my reservation and insisted that Expedia, the third party I booked through, never sent my reservation through and that s why it was lost. Nowhere on the Tampa Zoo website or on my confirmation email did it list Expedia...This entire experience has completely ruined me on Ramada. I am telling every living soul I know to avoid this hotel!

We stayed here at short notice for a week. We chose the hotel based on price and locality to the airport and family.

We found that it was clean and quiet with amazingly large rooms and a huge bed. We were there during hurricane Irma (our first hurricane experience) and felt incredibly safe in a solid building. Despite being on Skelton staff, the hotel were able to supply good quality food and service. We could not fault it.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and staying there again.

Thank you

We needed a shuttle we told them that when we book the room . When we got there we were told the shuttle was full . They had 2 but would not run the other one. We also fell for the 12.99 pizza on a flyer in r room . When it came the bill was 16.oo and the pizza was cold there were no microwaves in the rooms. There was a large opening under the door letting light in . Then to top it off when we got home and checked r bank statement they r holding r 50$ deposit for 5 to 7 days never heard of a hotel doing that . We won't go back . No lets ppl hold their $$ $ that long

Booked 2 rooms. One for my elderly parents. Initially, it appeared ok except there was a large group of young adults staying there for a music event.
When they returned, they blasted music, yelling, partying huge disruption to all the other hotel guest that were trying to sleep. Smoke alarm went off near or next to my room cause of someone vaping in the room. I called the front desk 3 times through the night, couldnt sleep and had to catch an early flight. I requested a refund and expedia was initially who I went through. I was denied per hotel policy. So be aware cause the hotel thinks it's acceptable to have unruly young adults disrupt other guest through the night. Not even a partial refund as I would of been fine with. So if you need a hotel in Tampa go there if you want to be disrupted during the night. Or if you like being disruptive, go there cause that's acceptable.

Lobby is modernized and hotel staff very professional. However once you are near the rooms it goes downhill. We had a heightened awareness of our surroundings due to the shady guy hanging out on the balcony near our room. It was a quick overnight stay and thankfully.

Terrible hotel. The lobby and room are badly outdated. The room stunk like mildew and harsh chemicals for our entire stay. The hotel is neighbors with a massive strip club and the surrounding area is run down. I do not recommend this hotel, avoid if you can.

I was desperate to get out of harms way because I was on the water in the east coast and Hurricane Irma was supposed to come this way so made reservation in this same hotel, after making the reservation I noticed it wasn't a PET-Friendly hotel so called to make sure what I had read everywhere about hotels having to take evacuees with their pets was true, I called twice and TWICE got the same answer , NO you CAN'T bring your 7 pound non-shedding maltese UNLESS it is a service dog WITH papers and we will check on papers.. Shame on RAMADA. NON-Evacuee Friendly HOTEL!!!!!

The conference room was ample but they put the seats way too close together there was no personal space and the atoz free seminar was more like an infomercial for their 2500$ "boot camp. Pretty lame.

Convenient location for a company meeting. Was not an overnight guest. Only here for a meeting involving more remote employees than could be accommodated in the office. The hotel seems a little run down and looks like it has seen better days. But fine for the purposes of the company meeting. The hotel is centrally located with highway access from several directions. So the location was ideal. There are several other options located close by but I assume they're much more expensive.

Customer service is extremely poor, was out of water for hours and guests were never informed. Hotel is listed on its website as renovated...carpets need cleaning. The room was spacious but had no ambiance. View from the rooms was ok and location was ideal.

Con: Clean room, but outdated. Slow drain shower/tub. Sound proof not so good (we heard the above room noise)

Disgusting...to say the least. Room was stuffy, carpet old musty and had to call room service 2x to actually come and vacuum the room. Was gone all day only to return past 4pm to find the bed and room still hadn't been cleaned. The entire premises smells like Indian food. Not exactly what I want to smell at 8am...For the price per night they don't even include complimentary breakfast which is ridiculous. Husbands shaving kit was stolen or mysteriously gone!....never to be seen again. Complete nuisance instead of comfort, it was too late to book elsewhere and stayed for business. Never again and would not recommend.

This place is very conveniently located off a main road very close to the airport , international plaza , and westshore plaza. The amount of nearby shopping , eating , and entertainment is insurmountable. Add to that its unique charm with a 2nd floor courtyard and a refreshing dip in their swimming pool after a sun baked hot florida adventure and youve got top notch accomodations and a price tag that DOESNT make you sweat ! I'll be back Ramada. Until then , thank you :)

Overall, the rooms were nice! But I contacted the manager twice and left a message on her voicemail for a return call regarding the last night of our stay do to loud noise and partying from other guess going into the early part of the morning (1:00 ish until 4:00 a.m) Never received a return call. I feel that is very unprofessional.

Booked via Airbnb and stayed 3 nights. Staff was friendly and location close to airport but I have nothing else nice to say.
From day one of my stay, Bathroom sink regurgitated fluids and made Obnoxious noises. Ew! Walls were so thin that When my Neighbors cell phone rang I thought it was mine. I also could hear neighbors TV at night.
Other guests were rowdy late at night in hallway. Singing and yelling with no consideration.
Pool also need more seating .
I would not stay again nor would I recommend.

I stayed at the hotel for 6 days. The lobby is pretty nice but when I got to my room I was every disappointed and disgusted. I checked in Monday night around 8:30pm. Before I brought my stuff to the room I went in to spray it out and when I saw the pipe in the bath I was shocked they would still book that room. I was tired and I didn t want to bother with switching the room that night so I did some cleaning. After a day or two I looked up on the light fixtures in the bathroom and it was filled with rust, the valance was discolored, the closest was disgusting (which I didn t use). I would not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone. I was hoping I would be able to share some of the photos I took but there was no option for me to do so.

Rude staff. I was communicating between the girl at the desk and my mother on the phone and the girl started to ignore me and help other guests. No microwave. You have to walk outside your room but there is one on every floor. They want a $50 deposit at checkin but dont even have free breakfast. Room wasnt the best but it was clean. Might as well be staying at the motel 6 without having to pay that deposit

This was probably one of the worst hotels I ve ever stayed in. To start the neighborhood is terrible, there is a strip club right next door. Second, the floor was so filthy it turned my socks black. Third all night long mail flyers for pizza joints were slipped through the door crack. Only good part was the short drive to the airport.

From the outside it looks great, once that elevator door closes behind you, youre in for a shocker!! For a cheap room close to the airport thats fine but if youre looking for family friendly or upscale you might want to go elsewhere. The room itself looks like one of those in a motel in a horror movie. The smell of curry in the afternoon is pretty strong. And dont overlook that you share a parking lot with a strip club. Enjoy your stay!

Amazing hotel and staff! We had a city view room access to the infinity pool. It was a great place to relax, the room was big, and the view was fantastic. The staff was so accommodating and kind. Upon entry, we were greeted by them, and they were sincere and cheerful. We will surely recommend this hotel!

I had the worst holiday stay ever . To start with,...

I had the worst holiday stay ever . To start with, wemhen we checked in they gave us a very small room for 4 adults , the following day I went to customer service and complained . They refused to put us in a bigger room and offered us to change the room to a similar size room but facing the pool , or cancel the booking. We accepted the room and moved on .
The following day I went to reception to change the key but the reception guy told me that I am still booked in the old room and there is no record on their system of us moving to the new room. I explained to him what happened and he did not believe me till he came with me to the room to check. He told me that he was about to let our room to a guest. He apologised to me and said it s his staff who failed to register the change . I also faced two situations in the hotel that gave me the scare of life, the first one when we came back around midnight and found our room door wide open . We left the room ariound 06:00 and the maid cleaned the room and failed to close it and the room was left open all day. Luckily nothing went missing but the situation was a heart stopping. The second time we came to find that the room door was locked from inside and we feared that somebody might be inside. Went to reception and they said they will send somebody within ten minutes. You can imagin the fair of someone being inside the room until the guy come and opened the door. I complained but manager was always out. They never apologised . Every time I approach the reception they tell that the manager is not available until I gave up .
We stayed 21 days and the bed sheets were changed 3 times only during our stay . The maids were coming to the room every day but they always leave something not cleaned . One day the maid left her detergent in the bathroom and left the bath dirty. Tried to complain but they acted as they don t speak English. Over all I had a very bad experience.

The rooms were clean. It seemed a little old, but wasn't terrible. The weirdest thing was that the provided microwaves mentioned are located right next to the ice machine in the middle of the building. That means that if you want to reheat food, you have to walk your food across several hallways to heat it up, then back to your room. They also use a very unique coffee pot system. You can't bring your own coffee, or buy pods, or anything like that, so you have to use the coffee provided. It's next to the airport, and are plenty of food options. The rooms are actually fairly sound proof which is great. Because they use wall air conditioners, the rooms get humid when the outdoor air gets humid, which is pretty much all the time in Florida. For the cost, it's ok. It's not the best hotel in the world, and not the worst.

In a convenient area, besides being located between two strip clubs. I dont have kids so it didn't bother me. I was mostly outduring the day and only at the hotel at night. It was a decent hotel.
