Great location. Good service but they have trouble getting the heat to work properly very cold rooms
Nice rooms. Fantastic location on the waterfront just accepted from maritime museum. Hotel parking is expensive
They decided to upgrade my sister's reservation to a king from 2 queens! The problem was there were 4 of us! They sent a man up with 2 different height and sized COTS! Mind you it was for my birthday! The service sucked and parking is extremely limited and costs $29 daily! They comped some days off of parking and discounted our first night for the cot foolishness. They'll never get anymore of my money!
It's a lovely hotel over priced. And easy to get lost with the 3 separate towers but other then that it's got a beautiful view.
Great location. Staff is pretty nice, too. The only reason it's not five stars is that it feels a little dated. Maybe it's time for a minor facelift to the rooms... Something.
All the staff at Wyndham were wonderful. Especially Vanessa V.
Could not even get past the reservation stage. Continuous holds for more than 10+ minutes everytime, I get referred to someone else when asking about reservations and when I finally get off hold, staff does not know how to operate a phone incessantly asking if I am there on the other end of the line. My phone was not on mute and was quite frustrated. Get more staff or train your staff on how to answer a phone.
The room itself was about average. It advertised a balcony room; our balcony was barely large enough to fit one person with the door closed. The receptionist told us that our room had a wonderful view, which it did, but neglected to warn us that it was right above the valet parking area and would be very noisy. The advertised pricing was a little over 200 dollars, but we ended up paying over 300 because of fees and parking. To park in their lot, it's $32 a night or $40 with valet. Practically every other hotel had free parking. The toilet had very weak plumbing. The staff that I saw were all very welcoming and friendly (one of the only things that stood out positively about the hotel). If I had to stay in this area again, I will be staying at a different hotel, and I advise you to do the same.
The fish tacos downstairs were great and within walking distance to little Italy and the beach.
The lobby was beautiful. The staff friendly, but you immediately got bombarded with the timeshare sales person who signed us up for breakfast with a $20 fee and failed to mention we had to travel to it and of course non refundable. The rooms were very disappointing. The bathroom door had no lock and was only a fog door (weird considering we paid for room with 2 seperate beds for 4 occupancy). The a/c did not work and had to call maintenance to fix. The bathroom sink smelled like sewage so bad you had to slide the door closed to hide the smell. We asked about parking upon arrival and there was no mention of fees, but we later got the $29 a day self park fee.
ridiculous! Was hoping for a nice hotel stay instead we prefered to check out early and wait at the airport for hours.
Staff was very professional and accommodating, Valet was great, room was clean, amazing pool and onsite bar and restaurant are very good; the city view from my room was beautiful and the bayside view from my friend's room was breathtaking. Just about everything is within walking distance and the airport is literally up the street. Highly recommend!
BUYER BEWARE! You have to pay for parking!-either $26 if you park or $34 for valet. WHAT a ripoff!!
The room we had was super small and we heard the ice machine ALL night long. So glad we were there only one night!
Also- no hot tub and there is only one pool for all three complexes there.
What a rip off .
Great location, close to the Gaslamp district and some rooms have views of the bay.
We had dinner at The Claim Jumper with a large group. The Claim Jumper always seems to provide decent fair for a broad palette of attendees... But it's always sort of underwhelming.
Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Great location and awesome view of the bay. Parking structure stalls are tight.
VERY VERY VERY OLD. It smells like wet dog. The walls in the room, all four, and windows are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. Huge parking problem and you are charged for it. Location awesome, only good part of the hotel.
STAY AT ANY OTHER HOTEL.
On one bright side the manager Arsenio was helpful, but do yourself a favor and do not stay here.
Good deal for price. Great for walking around San Diego
Very nice hotel. Only issue is it didn't have a fridge or microwave. Rooms are nice and the view is awesome.
Great place to stay if you are going on a cruise (port directly across the street). If you stay there even just one night, you can purchase a package with 7 day parking. Rooms are clean and quiet with comfortable beds.
This is a very nice, clean hotel in a great location. The buildings and amenities are a bit outdated. Service was great.
The place itself is great when the customer service is awful I mean that everyone but I met so many people that rude and they just doing whatever they doing because they have to not because they want to help you I like their security system you can get anywhere inside the hotel if you dont have the access key
Helpful staff and convenient location good amenities and includes a gym and pool
Oh my gosh this place is amazing and beautiful stewardesses stay here all the time
Check in was a disorganized mess, parking it not user friendly unless using valet. Essentially an overpriced hotel room. Bay side view was amazing, that was the main redeeming factor.
Personable staff, warm surroundings, and beautiful veiws. Highly recommended!
Good location for an event. Next to bay with sunset view rooms
Nice place. Great location. Near good food and gas lamp district.
Nice customer service, clean rooms and great atmosphere
We booked rooms together as a group for a convention weeks in advance and they did not put us near each other. I was in another building from my coworkers. Rooms were small but clean. Housekeeping staff was excellent!
Very huge , pricy
And intimating
Perfect location right on the water with easy access to the city. Walk the shoreline for sure!
Came here for a conference event. Very nice facilities and helpful staff.
a loud noise was present during the night and keep us awake. called at 11:30 pm and a security guard came and walked away. called back at 2;30 and no one was informed about the first call. they offered a change of rooms but by the time thay would have been done it would have been time for us to get up to leave for home. Lack of care for the patrons.
Nice views. The room in the corner had both city and harbor views. Walking distance from USS Midday and Star of India.
Great Hotel! Amazing views of the bay! The staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable in comparison to the surrounding hotels.
Horrible experience here, we had set up this room with the management there over a couple weeks time with lots of phone calls to management for my wifes bucket list trip to california... when we got there the room was filthy and smelled horrible, the doors didnt even close right and we had a lovely view of the parking lot facing away from the ocean. When we went down to talk to the management it was basically a take it or leave it after paying 1200 dollars for our stay. We demanded our refund and left with my wife in tears. Luckily we managed to get a room at a Sheraton near by for less than half the price and 10 times the hotel. I later sent them a letter of complaint and now going on 3 weeks later no response whatsoever from them, they obviously do not care whatsoever.
Nice, modern (recently renovated) hotel nearby the convention center and Little Italy. Rooms are decent sized with comfy beds and all the modern amenities you would expect (safe, ironing board, coffee maker in the room). Wi-Fi is free and worked well. Staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant inside the hotel along with a bar and coffee stand. Also many alternate places within walking distance. Parking is available for a charge.
The front desk manager said, we have a room available and right before getting my new key card another employee name Katelyn said, it was dirty. There was a lot of confusion behind the front desk and no one seem to know what was going on. It didn't make me feel good about my stay.
Came to San Diego for business. This place came up on the list of possibilities within our travel system fairly close to the location I need to be for work so I thought... why not. What I found when I arrived was a clean well apportioned room that was perfect for my needs. The only problem.. they did not have the king size room I reserved, but for this particular trip this change is not a big deal and easily pushed through.
The room has a weird smell to it, the parking is expensive, and the bathroom door isn't really a door. However, it is in an amazing location.
I was not impressed. They don't give you much for the money. The closet was located in the bathroom, no refrigerator microwave. I will stay elsewhere next time.
Love the service, quality of rooms and the cleanliness of the sheet and rooms.
Screwed up our reservation but they were able to accommodate us. Rooms were decent a little run down. Staff very professional and always say hello.
Great spot...close to everything...great staff...didnt have a great experience with gift shop staff behaving bias and making me feel uncomfortable as if I were a thief...not cool
The rooms are large but the beds are really small. You are practically sleeping on top of each other. That is the only down side otherwise the place is clean, showers are roomy, 3 separate restaurants to eat at. Ocean view for most rooms. Would stay here again
Tower 3 was rather mechanically noisy, one lamp didn't work and the shower barely worked...but wonderful staff balanced it out! You can't beat the location, and a harbor view room is highly recommended (friends were in Tower 2 with the view)!! We were amazed that a huge cruise ship docked in the wee hours, but loved seeing it up close!
Was nice to have a balcony and room service was tasty. Bringing our own bikes was a great idea. We were able to move around the city well with them.
Great location by the water. Walking distance to Little Italy and the Gaslamp Quarter as well as the trolley which can take the to the Mexican border. Great views, depending on which room you get. Rooms are a little dated but beds are comfortable. Adequate fitness center and swimming pool. There's a Claim Jumper attached.
Curb side service beautiful view of downtown also close to the airport and beaches what more could you want
This is a fantastic place to stay that offers incredible views of the bay and the city all at an affordable price. Security here is impressive and there is plenty of parking which the hotel will charge you for. Very centrally located for all the attractions on on Harbor Dr. You can walk to the USS Midway, dinner cruises, the bay cruises and The Maritime Museum. There are also restaurants located within the hotel.
The accommodations are fine but the service is atrocious. It started at the airport when the shuttle never showed up. I stayed at the hotel for a conference, if you re think of bringing a conference here, DON T. The food was verging on inedible. The service was non-existent (waiting 10 minutes for a glass of water and only coming when a manager was spoken to). The servers acted like they hated their jobs. The only thing saving this hotel was that the rooms were clean and had a nice view of the water.
The rooms are nice, the staff was good. Very disappointed there was no hot tub though.
Kingsley helped my husband and I above and beyond expectation. He was so kind and friendly. It was my husband's birthday so he accommodated our wishes. What a lovely time away from home. Thank you Kingsley!!!!
Location was amazing! Which is pretty much what you're paying for, if you get a room overseeing the bay. Hotel staff was helpful. Wish they had complimentary breakfast for price. Have to pay for overnight parking.
Very disappointed! We paid >$300/night. The services were bad.
We parked our car here while we went on our disney cruise to ensenada. It was SO convenient being able to park directly across the street from the dock. We didn't have to park at the airport and take a shuttle. And I also got a special rate for booking online ahead of time. Without the special, it would have cost $70. But I only paid $22!!! Even cheaper than the airport parking. Love a good deal <3
Very clean , nice staff , awesome view of the bay from our room balcony .
Great location! Everything is walking distance! Friendly staff and clean rooms
Good hotel. No breakfast but the room service is pretty good.
Fine stay! Kailania checked us in, and was very kind and helpful. Room was clean, beautiful bay view. Great price!!! Only issue was remote to the TV didnt work, but I called and it was taken care of very quickly. I think it was completely worth the price. Also Its close to many food options.
great location right on the bay. clean good sized rooms. walking distance from everything
Very nice hotel, and the room was very clean and spacious. Very. Comfortable bed with plenty of nice fluffy pillows. The balcony on every room was a very nice place to hang out at the end of day while having a beer and enjoying looking out over the City.
The staff at the hotel was very nice and helpful and with 3 restaurants within the complex, we didn't have to wander off very far to find some real good eats.
I will definitely recommend this place. I genuinely enjoyed the stay!
For the money services via web site and phone calls after you book (and charge 100%)they are not there ,25$to park a car +5$ a hr , breakfast 3$for toast and juice -30$ for A Egg and bacon (no drink) so look around unless you dont care how much money you spend . Dont if you are going to the MCRD its a inconvenience on the shuttle sevice they offered to get us.
Great location, right next to the bay. Attended a training in the conference room and the view was great.
The staff is rudeeee. Definitely not staying here again. Expected more from Wyndham
This hotel is really really tired. Staff is nice and good location but old rooms. Ask for a bay view. The city view is really nothing to look at.
Great view of the harbor, clean room, and a very nice all meals restaurant. The only downside is the parking. $32-$40 per day. With the reduced cost per night stay compared to the surrounding hotels it evens out. Overall it's a good option for a Bayside accommodation.
Great stay!! Convenient location to the airport, great food and shops!
THEY DONT TELL YOU PARKING IS A MUST PAY AND DONT GIVE YOU THE RATE ITS NOT FREE PARKING. MAKE SURE TO ASK. THEY LIE!!!!
We stayed two weekends ago for my Fathers Birthday . We rented two rooms at the price of two hundred each per nite. We were supposed to have a city view. They placed us on the second floor back of hotel overlooking air conditioners and parking lots. A thousand dollars to overlook slum with Huge construction of Skyscraper next door. There were plenty of other places they could of put us including overlooking the Bay.They decided People like to Pay extreme money for bad vacation. The beds were nice, no other amenities at all in room. Very Disappointed for it being a Wyndham Hotel Property. My Father was Horrified about the circumstances, but did not want to ruin his family trip.
