Wyndham Quito airport Review

Excellent food, nice rooms, very close to Airport. Decent views, good service, frustrating elevators.

In the buffet of an event they changed an ingredient of the contracted menu.

A place with very good service, excellent location.

This upmarket airport hotel is just 5 minutes from the airport; a courtesy shuttle bus to/from the airport runs every 30 minutes, 24 hours/day.

The staff throughout the hotel are very friendly and attentive and the vast majority speak excellent English.

Quito centre is 45 minutes away - a cost of $35 with the very nice hotel taxi. Getting back to the hotel with a local taxi is about $20 - although they won t necessarily know where the hotel is (you have to point it out as you get close to the airport) and you will be lucky if they have working seatbelts!

I stayed on the Club Floor - a higher rate but worth it! Rooms on this floor are huge and there is a dedicated area for breakfast (included in the rate). This same area offers small food and (limited!) wine/beer in the evening - again, included in the rate. This worked well for me - I wanted a quieter area to chill after a 16 hour journey!

My reason for not giving five stars is the bar. I like a separate bar with atmospheric lighting to relax in the evening. This hotel bar is a brightly lit area - half in the Reception and half in the Restaurant. It also appears that it doesn t have dedicated staff as they have to help out in the Restaurant too - no criticism of them, as they work very hard - but not a bar as I know it.

All-in-all, a very good experience!

PS. The bathroom gels, lotions and potions are really lovely!

Hotel located at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport in the city of Quito. Luxury and cozy facilities for tourists and visitors to stay directly after arriving.

When you walk in, the doors open with smiles, the music in the lobby and restaurant envelops you in harmonies and songs that invite you to relax and put aside the busyness of traveling. I must highlight the warmth with which I was received, as well as the excellent service in the restaurant. If you have to spend a night in Quito without leaving the airport, the best place to spend the night is the Wyndham hotel.

Excellent service, the comfort of the rooms is wonderful, if you grab an impace and do not have toiletries, the hotel has everything for FREE! the chocolate chip cookies at the reception are delicious. The rate includes the service brought to the airport every half hour

Very high standard establishment. Home top, the room and the staff for breakfast nothing wrong. For a night transiting at Quito airport very convenient. Near the airport I did not even hear the planes at night.

Pleasant stay, convenient for a business trip and amazing breakfast buffet. The staff was really friendly, the room was cozy and clean.

Breakfast is a must! The person is very efficient. They always welcome you with cookies and cold tea at reception. The Internet can be better. Half of the rooms have a corridor with natural ventilation. You are 3 minutes from the airport.

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel with my mother on Sunday to celebrate their day together and it was certainly pleasant our stay there. The beautifully decorated lobby, the attention of all the staff is excellent, the rooms meet all standards of cleanliness and comfort possible, the restaurant a delight. The Windham is simply Unique!

Great hotel, clean, far from the city. Close to the airport.

Your best option for a quick rest between flights or an overnight layover. Good restaurant service, and spacious and comfortable rooms. You can check in at the airport and they have shuttles to and from the hotel every 30 min. The WiFi is a bit slow (2-3 Mbps), though it is stable and I had no problem connecting multiple devices. The lobby has flight monitors and a self check-in counter for your convenience.

I used the restaurant service, the extensive menu, however the price vs. the quality (taste and texture) does not justify !! The flavors lacking identity ... I asked for blackberry juice and they gave me strawberries, despite using the restaurant, they charge you for parking time !! Not so good experience !!

$ 5 for 1 hour of parking to see a guest, exaggeration

It seems like a nice hotel and everyone acts like fancy, like an upscale hotel, but the service is lacking. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes (at 9pm on a Friday night) and nobody attended to me. I aske the maitre d if I could get some service and se told me my best bet was to go back to my room and order room service. I didn't want to drink in my room, I wanted to sit at the bar. Finally when someone came, he was rude. I just wanted a Sprite. He took my $10 and walked away. When he returned 10 minutes later he didn't have change for me. I asked for my money back and he just put a stop sign hand into my face. I think they would do better to not act so fancy with the suits and the "certainly Madame" greeting and just do the basics, like having a bartender and serving a drink faster that 25 minutes.
