Friendly staff and nice location. We went for the casino but were informed it won't be open til 2020. We still had a good time.

Pros: safe location, nice pool, wildlife( birds, turtles, iguanas, etc), comfortable rooms, nice casino, easy beach access, on premises restaurant.

Cons: noise from doors slamming from other guests ( mostly guests fault for being rude), there was a vent pumping in hot air into our room, I found an air handler in one of the electrical closets pulling in warm air to the room, turned it off and then it was much better, our room cards got turned off twice, pay parking even for hotel guests, wired internet not working in room even though we told them about it, running toilet but they did fix that, restaurant very expensive for quality of rood, out of the the way means longer drive to anywhere, no onsite laundry facility for guests to diy, you have to pay them a lot to wash your clothes, no refrigerator( that might have been our standard room).

Conclusion; over all ok but doubt I would repeat, it is a safe feeling for first time to island but you have to deal with some downsides if that is what you are looking for.

My wife and I vacationed here in November, and we had an excellent experience. The food options nearby and all excellent. The bartenders, David and Pedro, are probably the friendliest, hardest-working bartenders I've met at a hotel bar. If management is reading this, GIVE THESE TWO A RAISE!!! They setup karaoke every night, and their excellent service and sense of humor made the experience even more memorable. Something as low-key as getting a "Colada Mojito" (David's suggestion - it is easily the best rum drink I've ever had) from the bar to take back to the room was always a good experience. We felt like they truly put forth a lot of effort to make us comfortable and help us enjoy our trip. It was a unique experience for us to feel like the staff genuinely cared about the quality of our entire vacation.

We had an all-inclusive package, so we mostly ate the food from the hotel restaurant, and it was great. Try the calamari. It takes a while to get it because they are pretty busy, but when you're drinking pina coladas and singing karaoke with the staff, that time goes by quickly.

The pool is nice, which is absolutely necessary since the resort is located on a "dangerous" stretch of the beach where they don't recommend swimming at times. That was a bummer, but we took the ferry to Culebra and hung out on Flamenco beach, which made that beach look like a Texas beach anyway. There are better beaches to see while you're there anyway, but if you are looking for adventure, you can definitely surf at this beach. Just be careful! Overall, staying at the Wyndham Garden in Palmas del Mar was an excellent experience, and we have already started budgeting to return again next year.

Excellent place to retreat and have a peaceful time. Went with my wife on a weekend to just rest our minds from our every day nonstop 6 days a week work. It was worth it... just what we wanted. The staff is very kind and helpful, rooms are out of this world and the scenery was fantastic. The only complaint is that if you are vegetarian or vegan you won't have many options. Only cow milk and No options for breakfast. If you stay at this resort you have to visit Bocata by Campillo, just a 10 min drive. Best restaurant in the area and a whole lot of options.

One Friday and already at 9:30 pm there was no where to dine. The only restaurant was about to close. And so they received us, we are closed. Those of the front desk when arriving did not know that it was open Close to eat.

The attention of the employees is very good, but the hotel has to improve its facilities.

Super I love they treat like a super king or queen See you next year ..

It was an EXCELLENT experience! The treatment, THE SPECTACULAR FOOD and the rooms are very cozy and comfortable for others. We will definitely be back soon !!!

Terrible service-too many unnecessary restrictions/curfews/masks outside. (We had to test negative to get on the island). Shuttle driver only works certain days and no one else to cover otherwise. Had to request for extra towels/toilet paper/garbage bags from front desk->3X!

Great Caribbean Location, surrounded by lots of amenities; 4 miles of beach, over 15 Restaurants, 2 golf courses, Equestrian Center and the list goes on. Good getaway!

They do not have room service. If your room gets wet from a rain shower, they give you a mop.

This hotel is in one of the best neighborhoods in PR. We arrived at an hour before check in. We were told room was not available and they will call back. No body called even though our room was ready. We were first checked in a room with dirty carpets which we got it changed to end up in another dysfunctional room. Ripped chairs, broken door handles..and list goes on.. The entire night there was drilling noise. We had to catch a boat early next morning and could not sleep until late. We made several calls to the front desk before it was stopped. We also made several calls asking for sugar and coffee. no body ever came by. One thing i would say they have very nice pool. Also, even beach is very close, based on a sign there due to strong currents, swimming is not allowed. You could only get towels through certain hours while there is an attendant at the pool. who was not there at times and we were left without towels. You would have to walk all the way to front desk. Even then they did not send anybody to give us towels for our toddlers. When we checked out we were not give a printed receipt and we were told what we would be charged. Instead that charge came much higher(so do get a receipt upon checkout). I kept calling them(four times) and email, was told somebody would get back to me. However, nobody got back to me and finally i had to dispute the charges with my cc company. There was one person named Jose whom we found to be only helpful person at this facility.

This hotel is awful. I do not recommend it to anyone. The rooms are in poor condition. Staff is okay but management is terrible. They harass the guests by calling them repeatedly several times in a row in a day. Even when told to stop. Very clueless.

There are a lot of hidden fees . There are parking fees $16, valet fees $18 per day. Room tax . Hotel service fee 17% even though they don't always remember to clean your room or provide toilet paper or fresh towels.

I think for the amount you pay (approx $220 / night or more) you can do a lot better in the same or nearby areas

Very good to spend q live 30 minutes from the hotel I have already stayed 2 times I am looking for a third time thanks to Viviana and Sophia from the front are very good and rest.ni tell the waiters very good

Service is great, music is perfect and workers are willing to change the music if you ask as well. Next to the beach which is amazing and rooms are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend

Terrible service. The staff at the front desk today 5/25/2019 was rude and not at the least helpful. It was impossible to reach a manager.

My husband and I arrived on the 19th to celebrate my 40th birthday. We walked right up to the counter at 1 PM and while we were worried we wouldn't be able to check in, there was no issue and they even carried our big bag up the 4 flights of stairs.

The room was ok. Very comfortable king size bed, very modern and spacious bathroom, but the room decor was only so so and the balcony only had one chair. But we didn't let that stop us from having a blast - we were only in our room to sleep.

The pool bar was great. At times, it was understaffed with Henry having to not only serve the patrons at the bar but also run and get the food ordered at the bar. When we first arrived, Henry was gone for almost 20 minutes. But the drinks were cold and when the younger bartender was there (Justin I think his name was), service was also amazing.

We didn't noticed any slow service at Amalgada. Breakfast was always good and Jeremy made amazing omelets and pancakes. We had dinner there 2 nights and it was amazing!!! One night we went to the beach club and it was eh. Not impressed.

Overall, this was a great trip. Henry and Pedro (I think that was his name at the lobby bar) were great. They were very friendly and very willing to make you their "speciality". I miss it already (especially since it snowed again this morning!)

The site is good but the beach is not useful and they have many restrictions on people who are not staying but are paying to consume.

Rafael, Yaritza and Kevin were a true delight, they keep a very positive atmosphere, always good humor, customer service is priority one, Rafael and Yaritza never let us go without food or drink all night, newly renovated, competitive pricing, very clean and fun! Would recommend

Tremendous experience!
Due to the issue of covid they have certain limitations which I think should improve such as the hours of the bars, especially that of the pool area.
Super excellent food and portions ..... wow!
To rest ...... it is mega recommended.
Outside the hotel you can visit the Palmas del Mar complex and eat as a couple or with friends in one of its many restaurants.

I live by day, beautiful, but dead at night, bored, it seems a cemetery with sombies wandering in the night, ha ha ha. Must be put for young people and betting machines for adults, careoquis with music, shows on weekends. They have a captive clientele, take advantage of that.

Nothing like clearing the mind and body in a place like the Wyndham. Attention of 10 points, the very good food and you cannot miss the incredible routes in Golf carts ... A very good experience Thank you!

An ok hotel but they don't have facilities for people with mobility problems. Stairs is the only thing to go from one floor to another.

Nice hotel. Good landscape, clean rooms. The staff is friendly... The restaurant is horrible. Just pack a couple cans of tuna. You will be better fed, and better served that way.

They advertise a casino. When we arrived, we were told the casino no longer existed. We decided to have dinner, the options and prices on the menu were not up to par as what would be expected of a "beach resort".

I had never visited this hotel and in truth that all its surroundings are beautiful.

Ladies Gentlemen I have to say that my stay here was absolutely terrible if you are from out of town do not stay here this Wyndham they paints you the prettiest picture until you spend the first night there. I believe that the rooms have some sort of humidity problem we went from one room to another and the same problem persisted. The two rooms that we stood in absorbed the humidity so much that it makes it very difficult to sleep look at the pictures we took so that you can see for your own eyes one room even had mold in the the bathroom door yes MOLD Ladies & Gentlemen and rust in the tub they are just waiting for a law suit to happen the floor gets so wet we had to hold on to the furniture sometimes so that we won t slip and fall the rooms where so humid even the bed sheets were wet locals may not complain but if you are coming from out of town go somewhere else I never had a problem in Fajado inn & the Conquistador highly recommend those two. If you do decide to go here show the this review or buy a dehumidifier which they don t even carry in the resort. It s a shame that Wyndham is such a respectable name but after staying here I ll be very aware conscious before stay on a Wyndham again

I was from Aug 16-18. The place is very nice and accessible, ample parking. I want to think that it is due to the country's situation with COVID19 but in my humble opinion, compared to other hotels that I have been, the cleanliness was terrible. In the room the towels, blankets and the floor were dirty. The bathtub was dirty. There was only one sheet, and there was no disinfectant soap in the room. Not a notebook for notes with a pen, not the WIFI password, not a guide for activities in the area. The TV signal also gave problems. Housekeeping never cleaned the room. Nothing extraordinarily bad, but these are details that every hotel should consider and that only make the experience better, taking into account the cost. Again, all in my humble opinion.

stay from April 19 to 21, 2019 spectacular, clean, nice, I'll be back next year God permitting. The rooms, nice attentive service ,. have more and better information on how. get to the Resort, inside the complex

Okay trip went downhill fast ; bad experience here

Dispute about strange charges quickly escalated by management (not me) to over a dozen phone calls to my cell throughout the day, several visits by security to my room at night - all to try to get me to sign documents

Result : very unhappy customer

The room was great. No problems there. However, a band played music in the lobby until 1am. It was obscenely loud and obnoxious. The pool was cold and dark and the jacuzzi did not work. The restaurant and food on site is mediocre to say the best. The hotel is focused much more on the onsite casino than the paying customers staying there.

Casino, live music on weekends, open & comfortable lobby, live music in lobby & casino on weekends and holidays, restaurant, pool, rooms for activities, good security, private parking, membership with social activities, raffles, polite employees, etc.

Very beautiful, elegant establishment. The grounds were very well taken care of. The pool & jacuzzi were very relaxing. And Beach Bohio was a very unexpected pleasant surprise and a welcomed diversion. However, at this particular Wyndham More

This hotel isn t ready for guests as of Saturday Dicember 15th, 2018. There are no working televisions anywhere in the hotel, no WiFi in the rooms, no phone in the room, and the different rooms available only differ in the view, not the size or the amenities. I d give it no stars if I could.

Hector his service was excellent. He kept the luggage for my family members, which assigned him room.
