Not ready for customers. This hotel is screaming a renovation. Rooms full of mold. If you are allergic to mold, you will not enjoy your stay. Employees using a noisy blower EVERY SINGLE morning.

Beautiful reort if u come strictly to relax no activities mostly older people food is great drinks aren't tht great everything is closed by 10 and thts only one restaurant the bars and other restaurants close by 6 but it is beautiful and clean and everyone is very friendly
Great resort in Humacao. Great for nature lovers and birders.
This prestigious hotel should update the schedule pisina, they should have a microwave in the room. And q one is paying $ 170 for one night so that besides these things happen
....... by mii or a star q ... My advice to improve not that what investing is not wasted time
I'll be honest. I've been here only for the casino, but its a good place and the casino is REALLY big. You have a lot of games to choose.
It is a quiet place where you can not see people revolving. Also a very nice hotel.
I am currently staying at the hotel, we bought a pleasure which I recognize was quite economical for what was offered in the offer. Although the experience has not been bad, if I have some complaints. The day we arrive we take about an hour to check in. I quickly realized that there were only 2 employees (very few for the row that were) were very friendly and efficient but they did not give enough. We all knew it was not their fault. That was the first bad impression. Another complaint is that the air conditioning controls it at dawn. All day in the room the air is great. But between 1 to 6 am the room gets very hot at the level that you wake up sweating, no matter how hard you try to deal with the air, it does not matter if they manipulate it. Another complaint was at breakfast time. Again another huge line, a lot of people waiting, the place is too small for so many people. This time the wait was more than an hour, again the employees noticed the effort and they were always friendly, (the breakfast was very good), but they could see their displeasure since they had no help and they felt alone, because they were Very few for so many people and they were right. I heard a conversation from other guests who complained to some employees about the situation and the employees answered that there were many people staying and they had no help and they were very right. Finally, we could not use the pool because it remained tremendously full and impossible to be. We went to the beach and it was very nice, there we had a very nice time. In short I think the administration was concerned about selling and did not take care of giving good service.
Hotel is under construction.. The FB page says the finish with the aftwr hurricaine construction but they are only operating with 47 rooms. I had nonwater preasure in my room had to use a cup to shower. No cable tv, they have a roku that never worked beacuse the wifi never worked, no public wifi, bedroom fridge never worked. No lazy river. Everything at this hotel is a mess
With reservations, we had to wait almost 4 hours for our room to be ready, that's unacceptable. Need to improve the customer service, the room wasn't clean and they missed the sheets of the bed under the Sofa. I know they could do a lot better.
I expected to spend a night in San Juan with my children and husband. But to my surprise when we arrived at the hotel we found out that they had nothing prepared for this event. We arrived at 3:00 pm and had to wait until 4:35 because they did not have rooms ready.
Awesome beaches friendly staff great water and golf
We stayed at Wyndham Candelero Beach Resort from July 15 to July 20. When we got there no one said anything about where we could park the car, even though there were two guys at the entrance, who didn t help us with luggage and stuff.
The receptionist was really nice and he helped us with a luggage problem we had( couldn t unlock the code).
The next day we had a tour in Fajardo and we needed to leave the hotel at 7:30am. The breakfast should ve started at 7am but NO ONE was at the restaurant. We talked to the receptionist, she called the restaurant so we came back and NO ONE was there again. Very disappointed.
The food at the Oregano restaurant is GREAT! But the service is slow compared to what we are used to in NY. The waiters are very nice. Ask for the smoked salmon or ceviche appetizers. You are not gonna regret it. PS: no drink menu.
When we made the reservation in the description it says there are eight restaurants to choose from but when we got here there was only one place.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy the beach, this resort is not for you. The beach is a wild beach. If you are okay being in the pool all day long, you are gonna be fine. They have amazing pools and one is hot. The room is simple and nice. Overall the atmosphere is very calm and it s a good place to rest.
There is no Uber around here. It s a remote area. But you can ask the receptionist about car service. They have multiple car services. To go from the hotel to the airport in San Juan we payed $85.
Ps: All inclusive is a great deal.
Very poor, lack of hospitality, lack of service, lack of inventory (alcoholic drinks were limited to just Miller Lite available with the All Inclusive) not even paying you can ask for other brands...Airbnb around are way better. Breakfast was no good. Employees need better training on hospitality...two times got interrupted in less than 10 minutes by room service... when I said No Thanks! She came with her boss to ask why she could not do room service. Very Awkward Moment specially while sleeping. Not Recommended at all!
THE BAD
There is only one place to eat in the whole resort and it is fairly expensive. It is an hour away from the airport and a taxi cost around $85.00. There are no activities set up, so it really did not feel like a resort. There is only one bar and it closed at 10:00. There was an additional $67.00 resort fee.
THE GOOD
It is in a safe place. The restaurant food was pretty good. The people were nice and spoke english. It is on a golf course. The pool stayed open all night. The beach was a really close walk and they had a separate bar and live music. The food is actually well priced there. It is on a golf course.
MY RECOMMENDATION
Rent a car. Get alcohol in San Juan before coming here. Come with friends.
This place is a joke. This place is not a resort, in fact it is a very terrible hotel. I was given the impression that this was an All-Inclusive Resort which it is not. The resort has a casino and only three places to eat. If you don't want to pay the extra seventy-five dollars a person per day for unlimited food and drinks then you will be stuck paying premium prices for subpar food. The breakfast buffet is terrible and consist of a lot of canned fruits. This "resort" is in the middle of no where and unless you have a car you will be stuck in this place until the day you check out. Please do yourself a favor and look hard into other places before booking a stay here at the Wyndham Garden. At The Wyndham Garden when they say Check In is at 3pm. It's at 3pm, not one minute soon. I had to hang out at the reception area/lobby for hours before being given my room.
It is currently closed but it is a very good place.
Of the best places I have visited and I have stayed in beautiful landscapes, several swimming pools, restaurants with excellent food, very clean and comfortable rooms a beautiful place by the beach
Nice place nice rooms good service nice staff small bar in lobby but really cool bartender nice pool lil smaller than it looks in pictures but nice with swim up bar casino on site nice overall the whole place was good experience private beach I highly recommend this hotel
Excellent service, courtesy and a place of great tranquility. The place is also very beautiful.
I have had some excellent days. The customer service has been amazing. Especially to Jose from the front desk.
It's is pretty good the rooms are clean and the food in the restaurant is awesome the only thing I worry about is the pool its disgusting and I think that the water should be clear not blurry
Good food and very good service from the staff. Good cleaning, just lack a good atmosphere to dance.
Do not stay here. If you are going to PR stay near San Juan. There is nothing to do here other than drink. Me and my wife got the all inclusive package and it was not worth it. There is one restaurant in the hotel the others you have to take a shuttle to which takes forever to get you there and pick you up. We waited over 45 mins for the shuttle after dinner one night. The staff is rude other than a few individuals. Luis Berrios, one of the gentleman working the front desk was very nice and helpful. The hostess at the pizzeria restaurant at the hotel was the rudest person I have ever meet. Every time someone came in to get a table she would roll her eyes and talk to the crazy. If you want to do anything off the resort you have to drive because you need more than 8 people for the resort to escort you there. Overall this was a horrible experience and I will never go back to PR because of it. If you are looking for a good all inclusive resort go to Mexico.
Worse resort hotel ever.. our room smelled like mildew, the phone did not work, the tv did not work, customer service was terible; we told them all that was wrong, they had me talk to a manager; she did nothing but insult us by saying, "I WILL SEND SOMEONE OVER TO VERIFY WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS TRUE" I coukdnt beleive that cane from a manager.. Oh and we had no hot water, the shades where torn, a crack on the bottome of the door.. I feel terrible that my hubby expected sll to be perfect bcuz of the Palmas name.. But no.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, we did.. nothing was ficed the phone still does not work, my husband fixed the TV, still no hot water and we are at the end of our Vacation.. I will also let Soithwest know because we booked through them..
Very appreciative for the room that was right next to the pool and walked out to the beach.
The location is nice and being at the resort makes you feel safe, but they put no effort in to keeping up there beach. It's honestly really ugly and they could do much better for what you would be paying for a room.
Humacao, which is the city before Palmas is a sketchy and impoverished area. Unless you're really outdoorsy and don't mind almost getting killed by the crazy drivers in Puerto Rico I would suggest trying a different resort that offers more than this sleepy place that is mostly a getaway for locals that don't want to live in the filth that surrounds them. Not my idea of an island getaway.
And I just found out they have hidden fees!!!!! Don't go here!
A very bad experience the day of ck out we decided to take a walk before handing over the room the room was delivered at 12pm when we returned at 11:30 they had already taken my things and discarded others, and that should never happen without me have issued my ck out.
The rooms good but the restaurant a horror pesimo service take more than 3 hours to serve you and the bad and cold food
Excellent property, super friendly staff, and wonderful food. Get the all-inclusive. Rent a car from the airport. The property is beautiful. The rooms are nice with a huge walk in shower, safe, mini fridge. The sleeping area is well air conditioned. Private balcony. Comfortable beds. All inclusive includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus all the house wine, house liquors, and local beer you can possible drink, as well as non alcoholic beverages. All haven't finished exploring the property!
The service was absolutely awesome! And its just beautiful
Stayed recently and the food is not very good. Wife got food poisoning.
Love this hotel a lot of amenities super clean, Great customer service 2 large pools
Room was awesome. For Christmas time, we received a complimentary pint of rum. This place has 2 pools and a hot tub area. Food was nice, there's access to a private beach and there's golf for those who like to hit the courses. Also, we got to see some huge iguanas walking around, some grackle birds and at night, you can hear the sound of the Coqui frogs all around the resort at night. Have the resort feeling but with Puerto Rico around you.
A super nice place. All the staff very friendly and very committed to customer service. Highly recommended!
The property and the grounds are stunningly beautiful and offer direct access to the beach and nearby golf course. We paid a little extra for a room with a balcony, but found that it only meant a room with sliding glass doors rather than an actual space to sit outside. We were also disappointed to find that the fitness center was closed for renovations and the laundry room was not yet operational.
We reserved a room for one night through a reputable 3rd party and when we checked in to the hotel, we were told that we'd have to pay an extra $10 for parking each night. We didn't have any other parking options since it is located in the middle of a large gated community, and we accepted the fee. However, we were surprised and frustrated to find a mysterious $40 fee on our bill when we checked out, in addition to the $10 parking fee noted on the bill. It wasn't explained on the bill, so we called to ask what it was for. It was a mandatory resort fee and they explained that they were not required to disclose that to us ahead of time. They told us it was up to the company we reserved the room through to notify us of the additional mandatory fees and that we should contact them. However, Wyndham's own website doesn't disclose that they charge this required fee, unless you go through several steps of clicking on fine print after making a reservation. I'm not sure what amenities this fee was supposed to pay for, other than the pool, since the property didn't offer anything else other than on site restaurants and our reservation only covered the cost of the room.
When we called the company we reserved the hotel through, they explained that the hotel did not disclose this fee to them and is not required to, so there was little they could do to help us. In the end, we got a small refund because several of the advertised amenities were not available at the time we stayed.
Excellent Beautiful Places Congratulations Outstanding Job To Kind Personnel Peacefully Place I Love it
Excellent. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly especially Jose Rodriguez Restaurant Supervisor. The steps away in the restaurant really excellent, the food. Anyway, really, very good. Even with all this Covid-19
very dangerous beach. They should build a protective wall, do not swim there!!!
Spectacular to have a good time, in tranquility and harmony
It was a lousy experience the services do not serve wait from 1hr to 2hr for everything. The bars close early. The employees are overworked. The hotel is not prepared the volume of people the activities of July 4 were jumping house and beer competition, but only two rounds because the beer is finished. The pool the dirty edges and the dirty bathroom of that area; no towels or the employee leaves early. The restaurant 3 employees for all the volume of people. The room smelling musty and the conditions of the carpet not the best.Something that I was outraged was to see how the employees performed 5 tasks Without power. I think it is a lack of respect for some super professional employees, that if they never lost their education or their courtesy, but they can not alone need more employees. Those who have 5 stars are the employees.
Needs more housekeeping personal
One day without towels. Overall good staying. Good eating facilities
Good Resort layout. Personal very nice and helpful
Would stay again
Recommend
Relaxing place with 2 pools and many nearby places to visit. Room space is great and very clean. Had a great time.
IT IS THE SECOND TIME THAT I AM GOING TO THIS HOTEL AND THE EXPERIENCE IS EXELENCIA.GRACIAS JOSEPH FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OFFER ME THE BEST FOR ME AND MY TWO CHILDREN IN THE RESERVATION, LUIS IN THE FRONTDESK THE ONE WITH THE GREEN EYES BECAUSE YOUR SERVICE IS FIRST GINA THANKS THOUSAND FOR EVERYTHING AND DON ISRAEL THE JANITOR FOR HELPING ME WITH THE NEVERITE THAT MADE ME FOUND IN THE ROOM FOR THE MEDICINES OF THE NENES. SOY IVELISSE PEREZ OJEDA .... THANKS FOR MAKING MY HOLIDAYS AN UNFORGETTABLE.
It was wonderful very beautiful and peaceful and relaxing the rooms very updated the pools near the beach very very good place for the family I recommended 100%
Customer service was not on point. Over all bad experience, no ubers around that area because its far for them to drive. Food wise you'll be waiting about 2 hours to get your food.
Save your money and do NOT stay here. The all-inclusive thing is a joke; there a ton of hidden fees and taxes, and the food is disgusting. The food was comparable to what a school would serve students for breakfast and lunch. My room was a disaster as my tv didn't work, we had to practically beg for fresh towels, stained sheets from god only knows what, smelled like mildew and the shower had 2 temperatures ice cold or scalding hot. All inclusive generally implies that there are various amounts of things to choose from whether it be from food to activities however there isn't anything to do as far as activities on the "resort" and the food options were limited and gross to put in kindly.
Very good treatment with good cleaning and social distancing
Good but not great... I stayed with my family for 3 nights and the hotel was good. One thing we did not like, we ask for a fridge for the room and after confirmations via phone and email we did not get one. I spoke to the front desk and they assured me will have it by that night and it never came. I went to the front desk next say and told them to cancel the fridge. Also, the hotel charges 13 dollars a day for parking, 16 if you use valet. The rooms were comfortable but not big enough. The pool was great and the beach was OK. The people, that is where the 3 stars come, the service in the pool area, bars, restaurants was second to none. If you considering staying in this hotel, ensure you understand what they offer and what they lack.
Beautiful place!!! Excellent views and attention. To the guests ...
This hotel is beautiful, there is a beautiful beach in the resort, and everyone is so nice, and if you don't speak Spanish don't worry everyone here speaks good English, it's awesome highly recommend it only thing is there is only like 2 actual restaurants here but the food there is amazing and if you have the transportation it is a good way to see the island and taste the culture
The service was poor. We never received maid service the whole 7 days of our stay. It took 3 days to get bath towels replaced after requesting towels multiple times a day and had to go to lobby to follow up daily before getting new ones and 2 days to get first set of pool towels and we had to keep the same pool towels all week because they never had clean ones to exchange. Dinner took an hour and half to 2 hours to get served and they were always out of items on the menu and on 2 different occasions they forgot one of our entrees when they finally served our meals. We were given one roll of toilet paper upon arrival and had to go to the front desk throughout the week to get more. We had to buy trash bags to empty our own trash in the room because no one ever came to get it. Overall we were very disappointed in our stay.
Room was dirty, tv was broken, door to balcony wouldn t open and bathroom electrical wasn t working.
A total bust at this property. Would not recommend.
Food was decent. Nice place but did not stay in hotel.
The staff was nice and the pool and beach access was nice
