Notery will send you outside to notarize your documents .. I waste the day running in and out. At the end she said I don t know what to do. Next day I went to the one in the city I was done in 10 min.

I've tried for 3 days to reach this office by phone. Either no one answers OR someone picks up and quickly puts you on hold and NEVER comes back again. Who is in charge of this place? No wonder people are fed up with "government" workers!!!!!!!!!
Staff very unprofessional. You d think public servants would be happy to assist instead they were very rude.
I had to make four trips to get a very simple document, which required that I take time off from work and each time I came I was told that I needed something else. Although the clerks are supposed to start at 9:00, they did not acknowledge my presence until 10-15 minutes after 9. In the end, not everything I was told I needed was required. Maybe I was lucky because there was a gentleman I spoke with while there said who said it was his FIFTH time there and he had not yet gotten what he needed. Really ridiculous. I dealt with the Administration and the Miscellaneous department on the 7th floor.
I simply called to inquire about what information I would need to file for a sole proprietorship for my business. The lady who answered the phone said that there was no one there to help me and that all she knew was that I would need to pay $120 and buy a copy of the X201 form (from another source, because they don't provide the form there) and make two copies of it. Every time I would begin to ask a question she would interrupt me with a very snappy tone and say that I'd have to come down to the office for more information. I tried explaining to her that the clerk's office is a bit far from where I am and I didn't want to make the trip down without proper documentation. She just repeated that that was all the information she could give to me. Then, when I asked for her name, (obviously to report her for such poor attitude and service) she refused to give it to me and said that she was the Secretary to the Executive Office. I just don't understand why it's so difficult for people to be friendly enough to answer a few simple questions. If you don't know the answer to the questions, just say so and ask someone. If the real issue is that you hate your job so much that you can't even be friendly to someone over the phone, then there are millions of unemployed Americans who would gladly take it, so please quit for the sake of us all.

You CAN NOT renew a passport. So dont let the page about passports fool you. Guard said I can clerk said NO after a long wait standing on line and no one was in front of us!
Very corrupt place, broken system, no one and no system to hold the bad workers accountable for their aggressive, terrible, and non exist customer service and wrong information provided. Civilian workers talking with a nasty attitude and on power trip. As a result, the good workers there have to bear the terrible reputation as a group because of the foul ones. The good ones are still more than the bad ones, but just "way too many bad ones" at this place. And sadly because the good ones are never rewarded probably even get picked on by the bad ones, as time went on, even some good one starting to become bad ones. This court terribly needs reform, those bad ones need to be identified without them knowing it being done and get rid of. The court is a place to work, not a place just to clock in and wait for many years to automatically get the retirement package.
First, nobody bothers to answer the phone... then after trying 3 different numbers and getting bounced into voicemail that's NOT BEEN SET UP!!!!! someone annoyed and disgruntled finally picked up only to bark back something and hang up! WTH!

The security were so rude and nasty like they were raised in a zoo. One in particular she was bald headed, looking like A man and nasty I guess it's cause she need a man in her life. Nasty ppl, ruins ppl day with nasty attitude because they lonely and don't have a man
The passport center is only open for 2 non consecutive hours per day. 10-11 am and again from 2-3:30pm. when asked what the fee was the clerk said he did not know even if he worked there. When the window finally reopened at 2 pm I was finally told that I could only pay a portion of the application with credit card and the rest I had to go back out and get a money order. Very poor communication. None of the fees are listed or which method of payment is accepted.
Awful!!!! They messed up my information so I have to pay for it. They sent me two letters with the same incorrect information (after calling them three times; first time, no one was picking up so I pressed redial about thirty times). I called and because they have the correct number in the computer and have given me the same incorrect letter twice I now have to take time out of my work day because they are incompetent. Absolutely ridiculous.

Worst place in the earth. This place makes me feel that How bad this world is. Makes me feel completely disappointed and frustrated . First bad impression when someone has to walked through the security . You will see security guards busy with fellow guards . As soon someone walked through they turned around and not even pay attention to the person for guidance. I had judgment from NYDHCR for overcharged rent. Responsible real estate firm refused to pay me back the overcharged money they wants me to contact with Queens County clerk. As soon as I entered the room . I had no idea which window to go. Finally I saw a line and got on the line . When I was called I tried to show the judgment papers to the worker. She refused to look at it and told me go to landlord tenent court . I got on that line when I reached to the person he pointed out to go to information room and ask them what to do then come back . When I went to that section and Explained my rent overcharged situation he cut me off and give me paper to go to DHCR . I was so upset and said you are not even listening to me and telling me go back to that office I already got the judgment after seven months fight and they sent me here for further action. So rude and nasty, handed over to me fill up the intake paper and come back . I filled up the paper and someone else guide me to go to small claims court and file a case against the firm. When I went on that line , fill up the form they told me to come back . When I am done and deposit the fee and looked at the receipt , the employee typed the wrong name of the defendant. This is terrible place . Nobody cares. No Check and balance or good administration. Very nast and rude people. I will advise everyone please avoid this place if u could. Broken Justice system can not provide fair trial.
Very bad experience. People who work there are so mean and rude. They don t know how to talk to people. If you have any questions they are not able to answer them. I spent more then 4 hours at that place just to figured it out what exactly should I do. All they can do just send you from one room to another.

Nice court office, very tight security and long lines getting in.
Unfortunately, some of the staff have no desire to help with even simple requests. It can be frustrating because you have to deal with them, and they will make it as miserable as they can for you.
I called their phone number about five times before anyone answered and when I did speak to someone she was very rude. I asked her a question about something she explained to me and she said "DID YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I JUST SAID?!" in a very rude tone of voice because I had a simple question. In the end she did give me the information I needed but it was way too much work and she was very rude over the phone.
Need massive reform too much corruption, and pay to play.
