Plumbing issues. Maintenance came 3 times to fix the toilet. Third time was told it needed to be removed. When flushing, water came out the sink and bathtub with dirt. Shower water was cold. Not an ounce of hot water.
Four Star hotel but NO mini refrigerator or microwave in the room!?? Literally had to pay $10 per night for a fridge. Motels offer fridges.
When leaving, wasn t asked how was your day? Or thanks for staying with us

I come here often because of the Chinese restaurant. Their bowls of soup are amazing! But you really want duck and a pancake order their duck roll. OMG! For 3 bucks its a little bit of heaven!! Price, quality, portion its all there. My go to spot!!

ful. Rolled her eyes and ignored us for 20 minutes finally got her sttention to get a burger to go. Never offered us drinks or anything. Bed was nice and front desk guy was great at check in. After that they said they would bring some toothbrush up. Never came had to go pick up at 711 down the street. Not worth the price of a room.

Great stay, my friend and I were grateful to choose this very nice hotel in Center Philly, the best location to walk around downtown!!! We stayed for almost a week and are satisfied with the experience. Michael at the front desk was very friendly and informative. Our room was clean and had an amazing view. Not complains. They have a cleaning commitment and hand sanitizer stations (really useful with this COVID19 condition, cause my friend was really afraid of staying out). We were so pleased, we ended up staying a little longer of planned. Also in the Local Bar, they keep up an excellent service. Highly recommended!!!

Location wasn't amazing but it was good enough. The bathroom door was a bit odd. The room service was lacking a little bit as previously drank water was still in the room and the tissues were not replenished.

The hotel room was very nice. The only issue I had was the gap of space underneath the door. I could easily peer through the hallways if I looked at it as well as hear everything that was coming from the hallway clearly.

Nice place, but the parking situation is terrible. $50 for valet, OR $7 for the parking garage across the street. ( be prepared to walk a few floors) Nothing else. Some staff was much more cordial and welcoming, others not so much.

The hotel is conveniently located and staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but I left feeling as if I didn't get a good value for my money. Too many nickel and dime add ons such as charging for parking and WiFi and lack of a free breakfast. The internals of the room also seemed a bit dated.

Ideal location in the heart of the city. Very welcoming staff. The rooms are clean. The comfortable beds. The pool is more of a sauna. A very pleasant perfume we get bored when we pass the front door of this palace.

The rooms was great with an amazing view. Some issues with parking as we were offered to pay a special rate for in/out parking. Unfortunately once we returned the lot was over sold and we were forced to valet or park elsewhere. Lots of options for room service!

Valet service was terrible. 25 minutes to get car and it wasn't even busy. Room on sixth floor was old and needed updating. Bed was not very comfortable either. The temperature control in the large meeting room was awful as well. Melting all day.

I would never recommend this Hotel!!!!!This hotel was horrible. It looks pretty and big when you walk in, but looks are def deceiving in this case. The manager Tameka is so disrespectful and racist along w/her staff members at check in and out, they have NO PARRKING GARAGE...they saw its under construction but yet there is no garage close by that is being worked on, so I think they do this as a ploy to make more money w/ their valet service, which by the way, they hit our vehicle w/ another persons car, doing damage to the front... they cleaning service woke us up very early in the morning, they do not have an accurate check in and out system! A lady was waiting there for 4 hrs to check in, whom I met in the lobby as we were checking in, they told her she is priority, as soon as a room is available they will inform her, it wasn t until we checked in that she became aware rooms were available, they never bothered to tell her, she was there since 10 am!!! When I complained to manager about being woken up, Tameka, was rude told me that s house cleanings problem and they don t have anything to do w/it. My response was aren t you the ones who give them the check in/out schedules, shouldn t you know who has arrived and checked out she told me house cleaning does that I looked at her and was puzzled and said house cleaning checks guests In/out of your hotel , Tameka then threatened to call security on me!!! Like I m a criminal and didn t just pay $150/ a night to stay there and be woken up by her cleaning staff!!! We are still waiting to hear back from them on what they will be doing to fix our car, that also seemed like it s going to be a problem, Henry, who I guess is in charge of that, his 1st response was that it could not have happened in their garage! The funny thing about that is, once we checked in the day before, our vehicle never left their garage, which is under construction, and cost us $50 to valet, until we checked out the next day, and our vehicle had no front end damage!!!! I would never recommend this hotel

Lobby is fine enough but they charge like $40 for parking, and $22 for what amounts to a free continental breakfast at a Days Inn, and then $12 a night for internet. They have an outdated gym and a small pool in an insanely noisy glass room. The rooms are OLD. Torn and dirty carpen, old spring matrices and outdated chery furniture and plaid curtains. Much better options around. It is in a nice area and good walking distance from most things. Lobby is nice but that's about it.

Shabby and outdated. Carpets are loose and frayed. Rooms are dark and have the cheapest and minimal amenities. Tissues are like sandpaper. Restaurant service at Locals, their dining facility, is abominable and there are no convenient restaurants nearby. Despite website saying breakfast is complimentary, it costs $22. Parking is $35. Wi-Fi is another $15, and they have an electronic block that doesn't allow you to use your Mobile Hotspot. Never again! The beds are comfortable though, which is why it gets two stars. And it does have amenities we did not use like a pool and gym.

You expect more from a big city. As soon as I walked into my room I was slapped in the face with a horrible odor. As I explored my room a little more I found stains all over the floor. The staff are friendly, but overall I'm not a fan. The hotel does not seem like it has been kept up very well.

Was surprised this is a Marriott. The room was in bad shape- old, loose, wrinkled, stained carpet. Not cleaned well. Furniture in room very old , one piece with door missing and hinges hanging free. This a rundown hotel in need of renovation.

Prepaid 1 month in advance to be told there were no King beds due to renovation, and offered a double with bleach stains on the carpet. You should have a pretty good idea of what renovations will be going on ahead of time and whether you'll have rooms available before you offer them for people to prepay.

Rooms are fine. The restaurant/bar is super slow, from my own experience and the reports of multiple of my colleagues here. The food was very meh. One breakfast we had pancakes that reminded me of the microwave ones you get in the freezer section of the grocery The hotel itself is fine, the everything else about it needs work

I was on a business visit and stayed at Sheraton. Although, the hotel looks decent from outside and conference rooms are still fine.
The hotel room quality are bad and is in pretty old shape.
Sofa's and all are very old and dirty. Also, the carpet is dirty with lot of marks which need complete change and overhaul.
If I could rate this hotel a zero, I would. We wer...
If I could rate this hotel a zero, I would. We were there last Saturday and was planning to stay until Monday but the following will explain why we left early.
1) No rooms were available at 3:30pm when we tried to check in. There were lots of people in the lobby waiting for rooms as well. Check in is at 3pm. Not sure why they were not prepared, since most people check in around 3pm check in time.
2) There were signs on the front desk stating that there would be no water from 12pm-4pm the following day.....so I asked for clarification since I have never encountered this before. I said...so...no shower, no toilet flushing, no water period?!?! And the front desk clerk said nope.
3) Once we were in the room. The boxspring to my bed was broken. I originally thought it was the metal frame, but when I lifted the sheets, I found that the boxspring was literally broken in half on one side.
4) The room was dirty. There were finger prints on the headboard, the carpet was stained and dingy. We found a fingernail (possibly a toenail) clipping on one of the beds (which we found because my sister was scratched by it), the bottom of the bathtub had a grayish hue to it.
5) We thought there was trash by the desk but figured out that a light bulb exploded and those were the remnants of the broken glass left on the carpet. Which if they actually cleaned the rooms, someone would have found it.
6) The phone was kept cutting in and out, so I couldn t even successfully call the front desk.
We spoke to 3 different people and were told that this would all be taken care of.
They swept up the glass (I would think they would at least try to vacuum it up since it is a safety hazard), they replaced the broken light bulb, they had to replace the comforter cover 3 times because each time she put a new one on, she noticed that they were dirt marks all over them. We had reservations and plans for the day, so we left a note on the broken bed (on a napkin I had in my bag because the room did not have any stationary or pen). When we got back to the room around 10:30pm (6 hours later)....my note was still on the bed and the bed was never switched out. I had to go downstairs and speak to someone (because our phone was broken) and they switched us to another room. When we arrived in the new room, it was also dirty and dingy but at that point I did not care because I was so exhausted. I went to the bathroom in the new room to discover that....
7) There was only 1 bath towel, when I called the front desk from the new room, I was told that they had an issue with the cleaners, so there were no more towels. Thankfully my sister still had the keys to the old room, so we moved those towels up to the new room.
8) We went to 3 different floors to find ice and finally gave up.
9) When we finally decided that we had enough and we were leaving, we tried to call downstairs for valet to get my car, but that phone didn't work either!
I felt like someone was playing a sick joke on me. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The aesthetics of the outside of the hotel and the lobby do not match the rooms we were given. The employees were very apologetic but that did not make up for all of the stress and aggravation I went through. There are no excuses. I have been to 2 star hotels and even microtels that were in way better condition than this hotel.

Excellent experience in this hotel I found myself well, excellent location to get around Philadelphia, nearby public transport, friendly and kind staff, inside the hotel there is also a mini supermarket, clean rooms and comfortable beds, average prices, recommended

The bed was uncomfortable and I did not sleep well. Room was not great, ac unit was quite loud, there was no fan in the bathroom, no useful light switches in the room. I probably would not stay here again.

The front desk doesn't answer the phone in the three different times I called and was transferred to them. It rings and you get disconnected. The key cards stop working constantly like it's just standard behavior and no one is even nice about it. The rug is gross. Everything is dingy, broken, or old. The worst part is the bed that sags in the middle like crazy. That was super disappointing. The lobby is modern and attractive and fools you into thinking you're getting a good location if you stay there. Would not go back.

Bed bugs. Management does not properly take care of the issues when guests report them! No refund. And NO honorable attitude of urgency or remediation. Appalling. Floors 16, 12, and 9 are all floors our group stayed on. Floors 16 and 12 for sure had bugs. Both seen, and those in rooms where no actual bugs were observed, some of us left with bug bites on our bodies in classic bed bug bite locations. Given the fact the mattresses are NOT covered in bedbug proof coverings, it is no wonder that in a big city they have a problem, that according to other reviews, has been ongoing. I wish I would have looked at the negative reviews closer before booking. They are currently remodeling, and overall, the hotel is nice, the location ideal. The food is over priced for the quantity and quality. Breakfast should be included in all room prices and levels. Great service, especially security, valet, concierge. House keeping was spotty. Sometimes fabulous, sometimes they never made it to our rooms for cleaning. And the front desk's lack of responsibility over the bedbugs is shameful. The BEST way to loose business, is to ruin your own reputation with a policy of "sweeping it under the rug." And leaving guests with NO compensation beyond dry cleaning clothes. They don't travel on your person, but in your luggage and bags. In some of our rooms, an outlet or two were not working, hotel phones were no longer functional, irons not working, ironing boards dirty. We were honestly TOO busy with the reason we traveled here to deal with all the tiny issues that kept cropping up. One would expect a hotel of the caliber 201 prides themselves on, you would NOT have to deal with so many issues for the prices you pay. This time, price does not equate quality. I believe we would have been better off finding other less expensive, better quality lodging elsewhere.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel in Philly. We xhanch rooms twice. The first time the carpet had black spots that looked like mold and so did the curtains. The second room we were moved to had 1 lamp where light bulb was blown out no towels & the tub was dirty. Finally the 3rd room was decent. The only thing was we had to call house keeping 2 times to get some wash clothes. Housekeeping was polite but the front desk staff had no empathy and when I asked to speak to a manager they said one wasn't available. I do not recommend anyone staying at this hotel!

My family and I (me being the oldest child) just came into the hotel not even 45 minutes ago, and they sent us to the wrong room. Then tried to say that they didn't have a room with 2 beds and a pullout couch, even though that was what my parents booked. Then when we got the right room all inputs on the tv were blocked and the room wasn't up to par. The only good thing about our soon to be stay is the view and its blemished by the dirty window. I wouldn't recommend.

This was my first and last time staying here. Not enough parking spaces, parking very expensive. The staff never gave info for parking. I stayed for 4 days and house keeping never cleaned my room. Bathroom was clogged up, and water stayed cold in the shower.
My entire family stayed here. And I was very embarrassed and upset. We choose this hotel because of the location.
I never experienced anything like this. I was very surprised an highly disappointed.
