Water is so soft you cannot tell when your rinsed
No breakfast buffet
No microwave in room even motel 6 has microwaves
No carts to load and unload with

Had a great time. Even with the ongoing pandemic I was constantly seeing staff cleaning everything. They are serious about safety for everyone so make sure you bring a mask. They had some at the door for those who forgot their own, but don't rely on them to supply you with a mask.

Fun and their machines pay out pretty good. They're not stingy with free play and promotions like other casinis ive visited.

We really liked this casino! Not very smokey at all. They have table games and loads of slots. Very new, clean, modern, very attractive. We stayed at the Laquinta on tx side of the border and it was a quick 5 minute drive to the casino. Overall, very satisfied with our experience. Great restaurants too!!! Nothing dumpy about this place, 5 Stars!!! Will be back for sure!!!

First time gambling, found out I don't like it. But if it's your thing I would recommend it. I liked the food options, the buffet, Panda Express, hot dogs and burgers, and a smoothie place.
If you want to play poker/bingo, it's off to one side in two large rooms.
Smoking is allowed.

I stayed on the top floor of the south tower. Room was very clean and well-furnished. Bathroom and shower were a contemporary design and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable; however, the pillows left much to be desired. Lobby was spacious and attractive. Only major complaint is the wait time to check in. Winstar should provide more attendants at the front desk to better serve the customers.

I always lose money but i love this place. Free. Sodas

Hotel staff was awesome, especially with check in. Mattress was springy and loud whenever I'd get up. Buffet was lackluster and had old food on it even though it was busy.

First time at WinStar.... will definitely go back. Nice people; helpful; nice variety of restaurants.

Nice big casino. Too many smokers however especially with COVID CONCERNS. They dont wear masks of course and you get to breathe all that their diseased lungs excrete. My mask seemed to trap the the smoke inside. NY and RIO SECTIONS are smoke free which helps.
THE DISCONCERTING PART
A man in the RIO hit 9 Quick Strikes on a max $1.50. The machine paid for 7. He asked for assistance and the tech told him to push the spin button that wiped it out of course. The tech then removed the reels, very strange. This man took photos of this happening and even showed them to me. A casino camera was overhead and he asked them to review it but it had been hours and he was not getting any help. I hope it was resolved fairly, of course, full payout.

The nachos @ Toby Keith's restaurant were so good. Piled high and loaded with flavor!!!
Our server was a young man, I believe his name is Terry.... his service and personality were Great!!! He went above and beyond, and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our dining experience. A Huge 'Thank You' for being an awesome waiter. Wishing you lots of success and appreciation!!!!

Great place for a date night or just to stop in and try your luck. Lots of different cultures in one place. Lots of games and options. Good restaurants in the casino. Nice and large hotel attached to the casino

Atmosphere great food good ..slots will take take take.. usually can play 3 to 4 hours with 150 to 200 dollars but here only lasted 45 minutes

Poor signage. Had a difficult time locating the entrance to casino as a first time visitor. More outside staff needed to direct visitors to where to park and enter. This is a vast complex and cars are parked for miles around the complex and can be confusing to new visitors. There was also poor signage inside the casino as well. We spent a good 45 min just trying to locate the .25 cent slot machines. Half the area we were in was full of penny machines. The buffet food was cold, however the manager (Larry) was kind enough to reheat my plate. It was then that I got to really enjoy the taste of my food. It was very good actually. Our server in the buffet area (Jemma) was very attentive, gracious, and helpful. She added a lot of class to her position. While I didn't have any luck with the slots, this won't deter me from revisiting this casino again

My mother Loved it!!The only problem I had is the SMOKE meets you at the DOORS, they do have non-smoking areas once you get passed the doors. The staff is very friendly, they ask that you wear a mask & practice social distancing. I actually won a few dollars this time!!!!

1- Selection of slot machines is amazing.

2- Poker room is incredible.

3- Tye size of this place is unbelievable.

4- Variety of restaurants is fantastic.

5- The dealers are mostly very friendly.

6- The smoke here permeates everything. An advanced (severs million $) air filtration system could improve that a lot.

7- Paying a tax to play a hand of blackjack is 100% the result of no competition.

8- Their comp system is pathetic. Again, no competition.

Great casino several restaurants the Italian was good also tried the Mexican very good also. One of the largest casinos that s not in Vegas very updated clean very friendly staff. Highly recommend

The world's largest casino! Winstar really is a great casino. There's several wonderful restaurants besides their huge buffet! They have a fish restaurant we just love, Mexican food that's good a huge restaurant with a variety of huge meals great for sharing, a pizza place, deli, ice cream and some others we haven't gotten to try. There's a large variety of games!!! A nice pool. The rooms are nice and roomy and very convenient. Of course they have the spa and other amenities offered by resorts. Golfing, rv parking, an additional off site hotel with shuttle also. There's even apartments! There's even more I'm sure I don't know about. We've done fairly well as far as gaming there. We don't always win big but we normally come home at least even so that's a win!

Second largest casino in the world by number of slots....it is almost overwhelming.
PRO's:
-Very clean.
-Well maintained.
-Comfortable chairs that were in good working order.
-The vast majority of slots were very new, good variety of slots, and there were thousands of them.
-Good ventilation; not too smoky.

CON's:
- The older slots were oddly located in the high limit room.
-Very few video poker machines, and what they had was old with limited games and the odds are 6-5 or 7-5 at best.
- It is freezing in most of the casino.
-Few staff on the floor.
-Not many quick eats.

One of my favorite casinos around. My husband and I always have a great time.

Good for a local get away. We went for a concert. The smoke was overwhelming when walking through the casino at times. Multiple restaurants with a good variety of food types.

Worst casino experience ever there for 20 min spent 250 dollars nothing paid out at all

Wow what a place. You can walk forever inside. Many restaurant choices. No limit of machines. Wide isles and room for everyone.

I had to write a review on some of your staff at the hotel and Convention center. The lady that helped us tour the facilities of the Convention center was wonderful! We are planning a family reunion and she was very friendly and helpful. Also, the lady that is at the desk with all the brochures was very nice. We will definitely be using your beautiful facilities and recommending them to others!

Its so amazing...and so huge! Next time I need to bring mo4e comfortable shoes for all the walking i did. Love it

Just the hotel checking in progress is horrible for first timers. They dont explain nothing to you and its soo busy that you cant hear yourself think. I thought it was co-vid friendly but that hardly seem the case compares to other casinos/hotel

Though I always seem to only lose the money I ever bring here it is still good entertainment. The food options are vast and there is just about everything you'd ever want to eat here. The hotel is a nice stay and decent accommodations. Makes for a nice weekend getaway. Entertainment is the key here better luck at the table games ... cards specifically. Just remember, you came for entertainment and to enjoy getting away for a bit

Biggest casino in the world. It's fun, clean and there are lots of other entertainment options besides gambling. The buffet is decent, but the food at other restaurants in the resort are better.

It is a huge casino, I thought they might offer free play but they don't

Staff at the players club card on at the Vienna entrance was really rude and had a terrible attitude towards questions I was asking about free play.
I suggest if entering on a Monday, definitely go through the main entrance and avoid this area.

Meets the hype. Great place for family during holidays or events. Good place in general. Was impressed

Great casino, only wish they had a designated smoking area. Would have stayed longer but couldn't handle the smoke. They also have screens showing football games so you can catch up with your favorite team while pursuing your jackpot.

Love the facility but think they should have more family attraction maybe an arcade

Busier than we thought it may be. Hour and a half wait for our free buffet. Would've been better off buying dishes at the yummy Italian restaurant

Did not receive the red carpet treatment when I became an elite player member. 60 days into elite trier treatment still not worth the rewards my time and money would be better spend doing other things then reaching elite trier level. 15000 points what a waste of time and money for nothing but disrespect. Tell me what to say to other player when they see me hand out the card bite my tongue. Not worth the time or cash

Every single member of the staff that I encountered in my overnight stay at the hotel and wandering through the casino, were super helpful, exceptionally friendly and courteous. The satisfaction in the staff alone is enough to have me come back for another stay

Fun place. Easy to lose track of time here. Clean and smoker friendly. The staff were very friendly and informative. The reward system is nice, earn points while you gamble, win free night at the hotel, buffet, prizes etc. More than quadrupled the amount of money we brought to play on. Giving it 4 stars only because they made it very difficult and were rude all 3 times (over a week and a half) while trying to redeem our free any night hotel stay which is only good for 2 weeks after only having 24 hours to acquire the required amount of points.

Hotel accommodations & rooms exceed expectations. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Less than an hour away from DFW. Great offers from their mailers. Highly recommended.

If you are going just for the fun of it. But you have to be very lucky to win big!!!! Noticed not to many folks are winning big jackpots now a days.

Went to Oklahoma, spur of the moment. With everything else shut down during pandemic, options are limited. Staff was nice and very helpful. Wish there was more variety. Seems like everything is slots. Can definitely tell the whole place is designed to trap you in Daedalus' maze as a sacrifice to the Minotaur. Was sad to see all the elderly people with oxygen tanks surrounded by smokers. I myself am a smoker but could not bring myself to smoke inside. My shame and guilt forced me to make my way outside for the all important nicotine fix...

Jan2020 Nothing special other than being big. Expensive food and very strong smoke odor. Not friendly at all to go with kids due to lack of family events or activities in the facility.

Overall a great experience. But, if you're going to charge well over $300 a night for your rooms, swap out all your mattresses for Tempur-Pedic ones. My wife & I tossed and turned all night because the mattress was so uncomfortable. And we were tired.

It's an awesome casino to visit! I stayed at their hotel twice and it was very nice. Love the outdoor pools! However, they keep the air conditioner very cold inside the Casino. Would recommend you bring a sweater or jacket. The decor in the casino is very nice, friendly staff! Lots of slot machines, game tables, you could get lost in there...lol. There are a few gift shops but I just wish there was a gift shop that offer more variety of Casino t-shirts and other things like that. I would have loved to purchase a t-shirt with The casino on it bc I am from Ohio. A few shops offer just a plain style t-shirt. But other than a sovenior type gift shop needed the place is really nice!!!

Signed up for a player's card and was meet with really friendly, entertaining staff. The facilities we clean, attractive, and modern. Plenty of slots, huge poker room, bingo room and I heard that craps will be in as soon as legislation passes. Really enjoyed my time here and will be back, for sure!

A relatively short drive from DFW, and a fun way to burn those few bucks in your pocket. Do it right, you should break even or be down a few bucks. Get greedy, win big or lose big. It's not Vegas, but it is the next best thing. Also, I got food poisoning at a Nathan's hotdog there 8 years ago.

WinStar truly a world class Casino. And I don't gamble. Odds are as good as any. Well ran and clean. If you didn't know that you were a couple of miles from the Red River separating Oklahoma and Texas, you would swear your in Vegas. ( On the inside of the Casino ) on the outside the foothills of the Ozarks. One of the oldest mountain ranges on Earth. Being from Dallas, I happen to know where the most beautiful woman in the world reside. Some of them have escaped and thier' running all over WinStar. Being neighbors with North Texas has its privileges...; ) World class hotel included. Sorry camera on this phone not so swift. Google WinStar... Now...! ..; )

This is my favorite casino to go to from central Texas. It has a GREAT poker room. Lots of live tables. Tournaments are fun too. More slots machines than one person could ever play. Lots of places to eat. Bring your walking shoes, this place is HUGE!!

First time gambling or even setting foot in a Casino. Had a great time. Definitely a great experience. Can get a little crowded so you should find the most comfortable time to go.

Didn't win anything, however we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with great assorted dining, beautiful facility, free beverage stations, clean restrooms and wonderful, friendly, courteous customer service.

Varied food options at reasonable prices. Priscilla at the lost & found was friendly as hell when my codriver lost his phone. Has overnight truck parking in a roomy dirt lot. Isn't entirely non-smoking. Clean restrooms. Just needs a C-store and showers for the truckers and it'd be a perfect spot for a 10hr.

The rooms have always been clean, the staff is friendly and the grounds are beautifully kept. Every time I've stayed here it has been a pleasure.

We try to visit everytime we travel to Gainesville. They charge a fee for each bet on game tables, alcoholic beverages are not free, slots are tight. So if your looking to win a lot of money it probably isn't going to happen on the slots. But it is a fun place to go and just have some fun and relax. The buffet is awesome!

My Wife and I frequent the WinStar often and drive almost 6hrs to get there. The Entire Staff is Very Kind and Helpful. We love everything about WinStar and Highly Recommend this Casino to Any and Everyone.

The smoke took away a star by itself. I'm asthmatic and it's just not worth it. It's a good casino and I'm sure I would really enjoy it if there was at least one non smoking area.

Unique place. We did eat dinner & camped overnight in RV. Enjoyed!

Been to many casinos and winstar is by far my favorite. Typical win/lose that you would except at any casino, but always a fun time. Plus they give you MANY comps with your players card, unlike some casinos, who are greedy with their comps.

This was a lot of fun. Lots of people and machines. Next time I will try the tables. Great job celebrating Lunar New Year!
