Brought my students here to see the PICT production of William Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet. What a great space and friendly staff! Everyone was extremely helpful in directing my students and chaperones to the theatre space and restrooms. My students were excited to be in the home of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, a show that many of them have either seen and loved as children or heard their parents speak fondly of. The set for Romeo and Juliet was inspired by 1930s New York City and aside from being a bit wide and loud was well-designed. I would have like to see the stage reduced in width and thrust into the audience to create a more intimate space for the audience and actors. This would have also afforded the audience better views; anyone in the fourth row back was unable to view the final tomb scene of the play due to its staging. Regardless, the space has lots of potential. I hope PICT will choose to perform here again. I also enjoyed seeing the WQED memorabilia and being in the place so near and dear to not only Pittsburghers but many people across the US.

It's all about Pittsburgh! This stations history is rich with Mr. Roger's neighborhood's beginning of educational learning.
It brings premier shows that are publicly funded. Investigative reporting and historic Pittsburgh shows make this station one of the most valuable assets to the community.

Why have a "banner" advertising the writing contest on the screen while airing "Pittsburgh from the Air" ! I believe there might have been some explanation of what we were viewing under that annoying "banner" !!
