This is by far the best zoo I've ever been to. You can get really close to the animals, the park is huge, and there is a ton of variety. I've been several times and it's always fun with something new to see.

We decided to go as a birthday gift for the kids and some quality family time. It's a bit pricey even after a $20 coupon. However, it is definitely worth the cost! The way the exhibits are set up allows you to safely be close to the animals and gives great views. I especially loved the predator tanks! It was amazing to see a white alligator! It was even more amazing to see my children excited about all the animals.
We spent about 4 hours there and were able to enjoy the entire zoo. We saw the fabulous sea lion show, fed a giraffe and took a train ride. Then the kids finished off the visit playing at the playground there. How they had the energy is beyond me. The minor cons was the price of food, though I'm not to certain you can bring your own. Also we didn't get to some of the rides like I hoped or get something from the gift shop. But there will definitely be a next time. It was a great experience for the whole family!

The animals are all are obviously dosed w something. The layout makes no sense and the aquarium smelled so bad we had to leave and I became physically sick. Shame on you all for pretending to care for any of these creatures. Never again.

I don't know where to begin! This is by far the best zoo I have been too in ages. Every staff member appears to love their job! The animals all appear to be happy, healthy and well feed/cared for.

I loved the giraffes and the aquarium areas. There are a ton of different birds and monkeys. The play area is not at all in the shade, so it was terribly hot and not great for playing on.
I also think the entrance price is a bit pricey, since once you get in, you then need to pay for the rides seperate.

We visited the zoo today and had a great time! Great view of the animals and there s also a lot of shade, which is nice. The Aquarium exhibits are well done and a lot to see! Our 3 year old grandson really enjoyed the sea lions show and getting to feed them afterwards was the highlight (cost $5 for 2 fish). I like that they have a tall feeding station so you can feed the giraffes. We rode the safari tram in the safari park area. It was educational and got us a little closer to the animals in addition to us resting our feet. We'll definitely go back as I am sure we probably have only seen half or less of all the exhibits.

I have my likes and dislikes. I LOVE that you can interact with the giraffes; being that they are my favorite animal. I had my 21st birthday here and ate at Dillon's. I must say, getting into the zoo was quite expensive. It's about $35 (including tax) for one person. Spent $200 for myself and close family members to get in. The rides, aren't cheap at all. The log flume is $5 per person. Maybe $2.50 would be a better price. Considering we spent 200 getting in. Would I suggest this zoo to friends and family? Yes. But i will warn them about their prices.

This park was an amazing experience for me and for the whole family! Their financial expense is on the high side (especially food and drinks), but the money spent is to care for all of the animals, so it was totally worth every penny.

Love them! Food was good. Atmosphere was great! You can sit outback with the The Flamingos and drink, or sit by the albino alligator in the bar or watch the sharks and stingrays swim by in the main dining area whole thing super fun staff is great

Lot of great animals to see, I would rate it better but to ride any rides or get any food it's cash only! Seriously get with the times and get a card machine. So word of advice bring cash. Every ride is roughly $6 per person and all cash.

We had an exceptional time at the Zoo all day, celebrating my son's belated 5th Birthday. The staff were courteous, and we thoroughly enjoyed the all access Passes as a group. Exercise, delight and awe best summarize our day. Thanks for having us, we'll be back soon! - Ryan Johnson

The best zoo we have ever been to! Up close and personal experiences and the ability to feed some of the animals was unforgettable. The stingrays were awesome. It reminded us a little of Jurassic Park.

Great place to take kids to see all the animals! It's safe and well maintained and the zookeepers are always willing to chat with my littles about the various animals here. The gift shop always has fun little surprises and the food, while overpriced as always, is always good. My kids love then play area and talk about feeding the giraffes all the time!

$100 for 3 is a stretch no matter how nice the zoo is. I know it must be expensive to run, but most people do not have that kind of money to spare sadly. Its about average as zoo's go. Many enclosures are too small and were filthy. For that price I would hope to see the animals treated to huge enclosures. Maybe some day hopefully, with enriching toys and activities for them all. There were some nice areas that were educational. The petting area was fun, as was the aquarium area. Do not bother with the restaurant. It was awful and very expensive. If it were less to get in, I could rate it better. Everything in this immediate area of Goodyear is too expensive, so this fits!

This place is amazing! It seems pricey but definitely worth it. We found discount tickets on Groupon. Arrived around 9:30 and left around 5:30. So many animals up close! We had a great time!

There's so many different animals and they all have such personalities! We were there for 4 hours and only saw half the zoo! We also got to feed Giraffes which was such a cool experience! I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in Arizona!

Quite pricey, but it's an all day adventure. Plan on spending over a hundred dollars to take your family to the WWZ&A, and plan on spending at least 6 hours here too. Don't forget quarters to feed birds, fish, and giraffes! Petting the Stingrays is free. We spent 6 hours this past go around and didn't make it all the way through the newest additions in the Safari area (3 new rhinoceros), or to the end of the new area with lots of new rides and such. We had a couple slow moving kiddos, so maybe a group of older kids or adults would power through everything in that amount of time.

I wish tickets were less expensive so we could go more often. As is, this zoo is a once a year luxury for us.

Excellent place for the whole family. Make sure to get the 1/2 price coupons found in Hickman egg cartons at Bashas' (grocery store). Saved us (6 people) over $100. Do think they need to update the air hand dryers in the bathroom. Only complaint I have. Oh and maybe the prices at the concession stands....but it's to be expected. Also ate at the Dillon's Restaurant there. Also excellent!

This is a very nice park to wander around in. If you like animals, this is very enjoyable. They have quite a few birds and monkey species and also some big cats and grazing animals. They have a few rides that take you through different exhibits and you can feed the giraffes too. I would recommend it and am planning to go again myself.

It's so bad I'd rather write a review WHILE IM IN THE PARK. Yep. I'm literally walking around RIGHT NOW. $40 for adults, $20 for 3 and up, $6 per little train ride, $3.50 for one carousel ride, and on and on. All the big animals- jaguars for instance, are empty, no explanation. A billion birds. Even a whole exhibit for DUCKS. Tiny zoo in Idaho Falls, ID is $10 for adults and $5 for kids and the environment and animals are a hundred times better. I'm not a complainer. I brought my little kids here for a good time because dad's been away. But after the 20th row of birds, even my 2 year old is just DONE. I'm DONE too. I'm never EVER coming to this zoo again. I've never felt so ripped off, I feel like I gave money to a phone scammer. Oh and here's another gem- I'm actually walking past an exhibit titled "the common mouse". WHY THE HELL AM I HERE?! I LOVE zoos! Just not this one...

It is a very fun place. It can take you around 6 to 8 hours to see everything. The train and the safari are paid extra. They have a cost of $ 6 each attraction. The animals are well cared for. In this season it is a bit cold from 5 in the afternoon.

A bit disappointing after we heard so much a good review on this zoo. We were there last Saturday, probably because of the time of year but the restaurants were closed (there was no where to buy water), very hot, closed facilities, and probably also because it's summer much of the animals we have not seen. Not what we expected but the kids enjoyed what it was (especially because we rented their stroller carts for 8$ each).

My family and I have enjoyed several wonderful visits here...
Ever since my son and his wife moved to AZ a little over 5 years ago. Not only is the Zoo great. The Aquarium attached is also fantastic!!!

The animals here are kinda sad. I was actually surprised by the small enclosures and habitats they seemed provide for them. A lot of them just looked even more miserable than most zoo animals already are. Seeing them in their tiny, desolate enclosures broke my heart for them. On the positive side they do have an amazing selection of animals and they are all so beautiful. The aquarium area with the seals and penguins is really cool. Then they have areas where you can walk around with the wallabies or feed the giraffes. You'll find an awesome playground area that even has water to play in plus some fun rides that everyone in the family will enjoy, including a log ride! There is a lot to do here so plan on time to enjoy it all.

Great zoo with lots of amazing animals you don't see in normal zoos. Also the property appears small but don't be fooled the place is huge! We couldn't cover all the exhibits in the few hours we spent in the park. The aquarium and aquatic exhibits are a bit dated but the diversity of wildlife is on par with the new aquarium in Scottsdale. Only issues we encountered were the food at the BBQ restaurant connected to the park which was awful and the lack of employees to provide information around the zoo.

I don't remember if I posted a review or not; if not, here I go. The range for the exhibits is certainly quite good, as is the variety of species. I also enjoyed the aquarium for sure. However, there's no say on whether or not they don't breed white tigers, which are a major no-no for conservationists. Along with that, some of the rides look dilapidated or in need of fixing. I also noticed some of the birds were off exhibit and that there were feral cats running loose in some of the exhibits. I hope they will call animal shelters to come catch them. It's worth seeing at least once in your life, but it's no Phoenix Zoo.

It was meh, it's ridiculously expensive just to enter. Everything was closed or broken why charge so much for half the experience? The Seattle zoo was smaller but worth every penny as it was way cheaper to visit.

Went on a rain day, most all of the exhibits were closed. Wouldn't issue us a refund, or partial credit us, as most of the park was closed. Would have been fine, bit all restaurants/cafes on site were closed also. No refunds, no exceptions. I'd pass on going here

This zoo is so much better than Phoenix Zoo! You can easily see most the animals & get closer to them than you can in the Phoenix zoo! Some of the enclosures seemed a little small for some of the animals, mostly the reptiles but other than that everything is great! A little pricey but if you consider that this zoo is non profit it makes it all worth it! I would consider this zoo 100% over Phoenix zoo where you rarely get to actually see the animals. And I would plan all day here because it is HUGE
