Very expensive!! The entrance fee was very high- I felt it was too high when we walked through and saw the advertising all over. The exhibits were mostly birds. The rides were decently priced. Gift shop was typical prices. The food was just ok- Go to Dillions instead of a snack bar. The wait is a little longer but for quality and quantity- Dillions is better. Be prepared for a LOT of walking and sun. There are a few places to sit down in the shade- And that is a big plus. The aquariums are just ok. They are worth the $ if you do them only after 5 pm. The "zoo" was just not what we remembered from years ago. I just don't think that we will go back. It's sad too. We really loved going here years ago.

If you want to spend the day in outdated unkept facilities, watch animals in a very sad state, and get nickled and dimed for all the extras in the park that should be included in the steep entry price... Then look no further this is the place for you and your family. Oh don't forget to bring cash because they don't accept cards and half the ATMs are busted. Seriously though avoid this place it's a low quality cash grab that doesn't provide an authentic experience.

It was Huge! It was nice cause you walked around outside for awhile and the little building with animals and air conditioning. So you got to cool down. We didn't get to see the sea lion show or feed them but that's for next time. Do plan to be there for At least 4 hours or more so bring lots of water and snacks

Love the fishies and other animals. Great zoo. Much good family time gets spent here. Year long membership served us well so far as our daughter can't get enough of the aquarium. Staff is knowledgeable and excellent. Be brave! Stay wild!

$40 for adults and $20 for kids, I'd expect a nice, clean zoo. There was trash everywhere. The staff can't be bothered to smile. Animals are scattered throughout the park - the organization of the displays doesn't make any sense. And apparently the whole park is cash only. Would have been nice to be told at the entrance that my card is worthless here. Not that $40 a head can't afford a few card readers anyway. I'm extremely upset and disappointed with the quality of this over priced zoo.

I would not recommend this zoo to anyone. Only saw a few employees the entire 3 hour visit. And none of them smiled or interacted with any guests. The animals all seem unhappy and their living spaces are very small. Some of the birds had a bigger living space than the tigers. Not a very user friendly map of the park either with not many signs to help direct you to where you want to go. We would have liked to get some drinks for the kids and us by the time we made it to the back side but didnt want to walk all the way to the front gates to get a drink. The entire zoo smelled awful. And yes i know when there are animals they wont smell pretty but i have been to many zoos and none of them were this bad. I just feel bad for those animals. We didnt see any bears. No elephants. Just a bunch of neglect on the upkeep of a zoo.

If you like birds, there are a lot here. There are also many of the same birds and small monkeys in multiple spots which feels a little repetitive. I prefer the layout and variety of the Phoenix Zoo.

Way way over priced. Favorite part is the aquarium. Although some of the indoor exhibits, 2 to be procise, had no animals either time I was there.. the baby animal exhibit (although it was nice they left a sign by the incubator) and the reptile exhibit towards the back. The shows are cute and I love going with my daughters class field trips but unless you have the zoo membership....it'll break the bank for one visit!!!!!!

Had a membership here for a few years as it was closer to us than the Phoenix Zoo.. Here are my observations:

Lots of variety of animals and a large zoo. The aquarium is run down but the kids love it. The zoo itself is in need of some serious facelifts as several rides and exhibits look and feel run down. The carousel looks similar to one in a horror film.

The rides are stupid expensive for what it is, especially considering the cost of admission. There is no discount for being a member either (up to $6/ride).

Our last visit there, we encountered two employees smoking cigarettes inside the zoo grounds. I am fairly certain that besides the obvious issues with that, it is also illegal.

Sorry but until you can get it together, we'll take the drive to the Phoenix Zoo.

Awesome. What a great place/zoo with an on-site BBQ restaurant Dillons. Took my 11month old son there last week with my wife. It almost feels like you can do whatever you want there. I say this because there's not many workers bothering you. You can feed the giraffes see lions up close and all the animals you'd see at a zoo. We're probably going to buy the yearly pass. Excellent place and take some time to spend near the birds. The trees are beautiful and have to be 70 years old. It looks like old phoenix with the landscape u cannot find many places like this. Simply wonderful

Dusty and very over priced. Over priced to get in and over priced food. Over a hundred dollars for 2 adults, 8 year old 11 year old and a 2 year old. Then you still have to pay to ride on the rides. The rides are also over priced. No more visits here for us.

Truly enjoyed the visit with my 2 year old granddaughter and other family members. Highlight was feeding the giraffes. Plenty of animals in the petting zoo including very large turtles. The Bengal tigers were beautiful. I could have watched the shenanigans of the central American monkeys on their island all day. We we're there for three hours and only saw a fraction of the animals. We will be back.

Great experience! You can get up close to feed the giraffes. Walk around and see peacocks roaming, all the macaws flying around. We live in Vegas and took a 4 hour drive out there and spent 4 hours walking the entire park. It was really fun and the stingrays are playful if you go and try to pet them! I definitely want to plan another trip out there!

Visited while vacationing. I've been to a lot of zoo's across the country and this is a nice one. Much larger than expected and we were unable to see all of it in a single afternoon. Gives reason to return :) The variety of animals was more than expected - especially the birds! The "adventures" that went along with the zoo were great: a log ride, overhead sky ride, train rides etc. The aquarium and sea lion show was fun and unexpected so far from any ocean. The enclosures seemed adequate and the animals appeared well cared for and content. Highly recommended.

It was an expensive visit to the zoo. My family and I went on a train ride that cost $5 per person and it didn't last they long. Then we noticed another train ride that cost $5 per person. In addition, most items within the zoo required cash payment.

Such a fun and cool experience. So many animals to see and enjoy. Absolutely loved it! We will be going back, didn't have enough time to see everything. So much to see, you definitely have to make this an all day thing if you take your time and see everything. Plus the bear wasn't out and some of the lions and tigers were sleeping by the time we got to them. I think there should be more staff "patrolling" as unfortunately you have punk kids teasing and being mean to the animals.

I think there best way to rate this zoo is to compare it to the Phoenix Zoo since they are the only 2 zoos in the metropolitan area.

This zoo is different and better in my opinion. I do like the Phoenix Zoo, but if I was to choose, I would pick to go to Wildlife World. There aquarium is a huge deciding factor although not the only reason. The aquarium is a nice way to finish a trip here. The aquarium is open later than the zoo and offers a place to wind down the kids in air conditioning. We always walk the zoo first and then go through the aquarium.

This zoo is a little pricey, but for a while day trip, I think it is worth the cost. You can usually find coupons for a couple bucks off in the paper or local magazines.

The zoo is huge, dirt walking paths, with nice spread out exhibits. If you live close enough, Is recommend purchasing a membership and going a couple days in a row. The zoo is huge and my toddler is usually pretty exhausted after walking the first half (she loved to chase the peacocks and ducks near the entrance).

Good is expensive and not that great, which is to be expected at most theme park places. I don't think they allow coolers or food in the park, so plan ahead and eat before/after your visit if possible.

Finally, I do not recommend going between the months of March and September. . it's too too hot, especially for young children.

So I love all the animals. I thought the prices were reasonable until we got there and found out that the rides cost extra. Usually like an extra $6 a person! As a family of 5 that adds up fast!

Expensive, but worth it. It's always more than I expect when I go, but they have great exhibits and you can get really close to the animals. I could spend all day here, especially when you feed the birds with apples and walk around in the kangaroo enclosure.

Had a great time until we went to the Sea Lion Exhibit. The habitats were way to small for the massive sea lions trapped in them. Training animals to perform tricks to make a profit is wrong. Way to follow Sea World to their grave, geniuses.

About World Wildlife Zoo

World Wildlife Zoo: A Haven for Animal Lovers

If you are an animal lover, then the World Wildlife Zoo is a must-visit destination. Located in Arizona, this zoo is home to over 600 species of animals from all around the world. The zoo is open 365 days a year and offers visitors an unforgettable experience.

The World Wildlife Zoo was founded in 1984 by Mickey Ollson, who had a passion for wildlife conservation. His vision was to create a place where people could come and learn about animals while also having fun. Today, the zoo has grown into one of the largest privately-owned zoos in the United States.

One of the things that sets this zoo apart from others is its commitment to animal welfare. The staff at World Wildlife Zoo work tirelessly to ensure that all animals are well-cared for and have access to everything they need to thrive. This includes providing them with spacious habitats that mimic their natural environments as closely as possible.

Visitors can explore different areas of the zoo such as Safari Park, which features African animals like lions, zebras, and giraffes; Amazonia, which showcases South American species like jaguars and capybaras; and Australia Walkabout where visitors can see kangaroos and wallabies up close.

In addition to its impressive collection of land animals, World Wildlife Zoo also has an aquarium that houses over 75 exhibits featuring marine life from around the world. Visitors can see everything from sharks and stingrays to sea turtles and penguins.

The aquarium also offers interactive experiences such as touch tanks where visitors can get up close with starfish or feed fish in one of their many feeding shows throughout the day.

Aside from being a great place for families or groups of friends looking for something fun to do together on weekends or holidays - it's also perfect for school field trips! The educational programs offered by World Wildlife Zoo are designed specifically with students in mind so they can learn about conservation efforts while having fun exploring different habitats within our park grounds!

Overall if you're looking for an exciting adventure filled with exotic creatures big & small then look no further than visiting us here at WWZoo! We guarantee you'll have an unforgettable time learning about these amazing creatures while enjoying your time spent here at our park!
