Quirky but nice room. Clean. Well located. Nice helpful staff in hotel. However the dining room is best avoided for an evening meal. Food is terrible & dining staff inexperienced. In fact one waiter was extremely unhelpful & rude. Unfortunately given our experience with this staff member we would not return.

A nice modern hotel with a gym and spa on the second floor. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms small but adequate. There's a breakfast buffet with surprisingly good food and drink. The hotel is in a beautiful part of the city and just a 1-2 minute walk to a tram station.

Beautiful. Of design. Particular in the choices and colors. The hall and the common areas are the most beautiful and characteristic part. The breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel was very comfortable. I would pay more attention to the "refreshing of some rooms", repainting dirty walls, and perhaps choosing other ways to present bed linen, in a more elegant and welcoming way. However positive judgment.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel in January and it was wonderful. I really like the front guy. I forgot his name but he was tall, white, and young. He gave us a map and place to go, very friendly. He explained to us everything so nice. We also traveled to other cities and the staff at the hotels were rude and not friendly. However, Ripa staff was awesome. We will definitely will come back here. Thanks so much!!

All smoke and no roast !!! I had booked a family suite convinced by the research on booking which included the jacuzzi. But no ... also on our arrival we are offered a smaller suite but with a view over all of Rome and the next day they would give us the room with hydro. Instead with excuse that the room with hydro was under maintenance we stayed two nights in a fire room with air that did not work for the hefty sum of 370 euros and only a poor breakfast. Among other things, the breakfast that was served in the room from booking, on the spot I hear that for the rules on the covid they can not serve in the room. Convenient location but in the surroundings many other hotels for much less and more services. The only positive note is the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms.

Hotel Ripa is an excellent choice for your stay if you are looking for a very fun boutique hotel in the lively Trastevere region of Rome.

Our room reflected the hotel s overall idiosyncratic style, with a retro and minimalist chic look. The views from the balcony were little less than spectacular. The air conditioning is very good, keeping us at a comfortable temperature even in early August, and the external blinds do an excellent job at keeping out the sun s rays.

The staff at the reception, the restaurant and the bar are all very pleasant and accommodating (even in these times of Covid). They made sure we felt welcomed, even leaving extra savoiardini for us at reception having noticed we enjoyed them at breakfast.

When we stayed the Cornavirus regulations were in force, so there was no buffet breakfast, however there was a good range of baked goods, fruit, cereals and yogurts. We also had chance to dine at their restaurant, which had a good if reduced menu (accessible via QR code), with a particular highlight being delicious fruttini (frozen fruit filled with sorbet).

Does what it should. Clean, reasonable size rooms. Breakfast only lacks fresh prep'd eggs but has scrambled eggs. Good location. Would have given a better rating but bar and food is not available all day and no swimming pool. (Really you should be out touring the sites).

I put two stars because the room has a kitchen and I can not use it. Does not have the appliances to cook, or microwave. I will be five days to work and I wanted to cook a little, not to do the tourist or to eat in the hotel restaurant that is expensive for me.
The best thing is that it is in the Trastevere neighborhood and if you are looking for you can eat well and cheaply.
The rest of the hotel is very good, breakfast is very complete. The staff at the entrance very friendly and attentive.

Good hotel in the Trastevere area. In our case 2 adults and 2 children in a large room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Air conditioning and 2 televisions. Variety of amenities. Towels somewhat worn, old and some even with holes. Correct Wi-Fi service and keep luggage without problems both on arrival and departure. Safe and hairdryer. Correct breakfast in a spacious and good room only for breakfast, although repetitive, every day the same. Good coffee and juices. Attention of the excellent staff at all times. Fresh apples in reception and Nespresso coffee in the afternoon.
It has a restaurant and cafeteria with a terrace.
No doubt a good hotel, unpretentious but recommended.

Nice hotel. The biggest plus (and at the same time minus) is the great lounge with artificial lawn, comfortable bean bags, lots of shady spots and in the evening live music with a DJ.
We enjoyed spending our time there both at lunchtime and in the evening. Football was shown on several televisions (EM).
In the evening it was a little longer noisy in front of the hotel. With the windows open, I didn't mind ;-)
The food was always delicious, breakfast okay.
Parking spaces are scarce. At the hotel itself, these are not really suitable for medium-sized cars.

All in all a nice vacation-the location is great. You are close to the city center and also quickly to the sea.

Dogs: no problem in the hotel and can go anywhere.

We have stayed in the hotel in June for 5 days. The hotel is located in good area, it is a quite niche near all the pubs and the night live spots. And yet it was close to all the important turists' sites. The hotel is very clean, the stuff is kind and the breakfast was toothsome.

Excellent value for money, good location, with a tram stop a few meters from the hotel, we also managed to park on the street without problems (for free), the staff was very courteous and the breakfast room very spacious. The room was very spacious but some details had to be rearranged. burnt out bulbs, striped furniture, missing pieces. Nothing serious, just an impression of neglect. In any case, certainly to recommend.

Excellent hotel, modern and contemporary, very deco design ... Wifi, parking, gym, everything is there ... Lack a sauna. The staff is very caring and always smiling. Ok for visiting professionals and families. Convenient, close to 2 lines of trams and many buses. Trenitalia Trastevere Station 2 minutes by tram.

It was like spending two days in wonderland! The environment is super cozy, furnished in a whimsical way and full of surprises at every corner. The kind and attentive staff, ready to lend a hand in case of need. Beautiful room, a mini suite I would say: bed area surrounded by plasterboard walls, with television and large wardrobe; living area with sofa, coffee table, mini bar and second television. Small but covered terrace with another very nice little table. Spacious bathroom and small but colorful and fragrant toiletries. Impeccable cleanliness, very soft sheets and towels. Excellent breakfast, with many variations both sweet and savory, of excellent quality; despite the great confusion of Sunday mornings, the missing dishes were constantly replaced in the buffet. Convenient location, just steps from the tram. Very convenient check out at noon. We very much appreciated the opportunity to access the restaurant below, taking advantage of a discount for the guests of the hotel, a restaurant where we ate very well (it was pouring and we didn't have the strength to move). We were very satisfied!

Weekend 25-27 / 04/14, paid for a 4 star and stayed in a 3 star. During the booking I visited the site, wonderful rooms, very modern style, instead .....
After the first day the bathroom was not filled with a bubble bath, and it wasn't even cleaned on the floor ...

surely I will never set foot again.

I have stayed here a few times with groups of students. Very welcoming staff, and nice facility. The rooms are huge my European standards, although many of them have some quirks (weird wiring on some lights, odd shower placement), nothing that would prevent me from staying again. Good location to visit the Vatican, downtown Trastevere and Rome, as well as nice proximity for the tram. The included breakfast is a plus (I have dreamed about the blood orange juice!).

Based in Trastevere just on the fringes of Rome. This is a lovely and clean. Hotel which provides a fantastic continental eat all you can buffet. You can either stay in a standard room which are well proportioned as the hotel used to be apartments, or you can stay on the 8th floor on the roof and have your own patio space. We stay in 816 which boasts the sun pretty much all day ad it has two patio areas. The views from this side are mainly of the other buildings but you can see a bit of the Tiber. The Union suite is room 806 which boasts an uninterrupted view of the River and Malta hoise, with the tomb of the unknown soldier to the left in the distance, this boasts an impressive vista of the mountains in the distance and has a Jacuzzi style bath. This is a great room if you want the bigger bath, and is a bit more pricey than the room we stay in. I personally prefer the bath and shower as opposed to the Jacuzzi because at the end of the day, Rome is for visiting and not spending all your holiday in a bath. We do make use of having the rooftop rooms and always make sure we get a few mornings or afternoons in the sun. We have stayed here 5 times now and it is by and far our favourite place to stay. We visit Rome for 6/7 nights every August.
Highly recommend as it is in the area older than Rome itself and if you wander into Trastevere itself, it's like going back in time. Also with it being on the outskirts, it's a lot cheaper than most without a reduction in the little luxuries.

Lovely hotel with clean rooms, far enough out of the city centre to not be swarmed with tourists and cars but not too far to walk to the centre. Very friendly and helpful staff, and the food is lovely - and we loved the design of everything.
Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony, as was the bathroom, however there was a lack of plug sockets and storage space
