It is one of the coolest hotels I think of Rome. Many works of contemporary art housed both inside and outside. The rooms are reminiscent of the setting of Kubrick's Mechanical Orange. Halfway between the cutting edge 70 years with vintage influences. deserves

Courtesy of the front desk is more than worthy of improvement. The room has Jugendherbergscharme and yet more than gnawed out. The bathroom is tiny and there are four sparkling light bulbs throughout the room. Dark .... The situation justifies two stars

Never let yourself be fascinated by the Hall! Only there exists the modern area that bodes well for the bedrooms .... Then the reality is another: uncomfortable bed (2 beds that go to make the double bed) carpet in the room and last but not least ... The bathroom: bathtub with plastic curtain. In a 4-star hotel! What else do you want?

Ideal location for visiting the center of Rome (reachable on foot or with the nearby public transport). The hotel is easily accessible and outside the restricted traffic area, around there are many free parking spaces on the street, as well as several pay garages. The staff is very kind and courteous and always there. The furniture is very special, modern and colorful and very welcoming. The Standard rooms have carpet and a bathtub, while the Executive rooms (really cool) have a smooth and soft floor and a shower box. The breakfast is rich and plentiful. Excellent value for money.
In the Executive room, since there is no real wardrobe, perhaps some shelf or shelf for clothes is missing.
Slippers are missing in the courtesy set.
The room would need some routine maintenance on doors and fixtures. Some limestone stains on the shower head and glass. I would like to clarify that all these little things did not in any way affect the pleasantness of our stay.

For those accustomed to mediocrity, it may be all right, but much more is expected from a 4-star hotel in such a location. We skip the old bathrooms, we fly over the rooms not ready, creating difficulties for ten people who, after having booked months before, are told that the rooms will be ready hours later (with a convention in the meantime ready to go). We omit lunch in the structure for which an immediate payment is requested upon leaving, by the first 'waiter' on duty as if we were homeless. Not even in a boy of the school-work alternation of any hotel would he have been allowed to do so. We leave out the behavior at the reception of the manager who makes irony absolutely out of place compared to the inconveniences reported without proposing solutions. We will leave out the phone that does not work in the rooms (s8) because they impose a slow and malfunctioning Wi-Fi (beyond the fact that certain business apps require certified IPs to work for privacy) ... otherwise a good hotel. Goodbye Roma. From another part.

I was staying at the Hotel Ripa Roma as a student between housing along with 2 other girls. The hotel was very accommodating for our program and the staff was very pleasant. I almost wish I could've stayed another day!

A conveniently located hotel with an international audience in the Trastevere district. The staff is friendly and very hard-working.
The house itself is getting old (elevator is from 1984), the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The rooms are spacious with a smartly designed sleeping area. Ggf breakfast buffet is rich.
With which authority the hotel is in the 4 **** - category, I can not understand. I give him 4 short stars, but only because of the positive aspects mentioned above.

I was pleasantly satisfied, I must admit that I had left a bit skeptical since I had booked a family room and it was "nothing of the sort", but at the same price they gave me a better room: beautiful from the ultra modern walls, to the anti-stress floor magnificent (I have to do it also at home ..), very comfortable bed and in the middle of the room, sofa bed where my daughters slept very comfortable, luxurious bathroom and huge shower. Fantastic breakfast and very helpful staff. From the hotel in 15 minutes on foot you arrive at Campo dei Fiori.

Rooms are very stylish but a bit worn, but always very clean, unfortunately no box, only a niche with four hangers, TV had the size of a stamp, but anyway, there was only ZDF :-) On the 8th floor you can enjoy the house ventilation, which mounted on the roof in the room causes a quiet hum. Unfortunately, the outbuilding is a construction site, so sitting on our terrace was not possible, on the other side of the hotel it was certainly better, but we had only one armchair ;-)
The ladies at the front desk could always help us, great service and very nice, especially Roberta, really great!
Breakfast room is stylish as the room but very noisy, if you want to eat relaxed here is totally wrong, rather a possibility to be awakened ;-) The selection was not particularly intoxicating.
The location of the hotel is OK, in the evening quiet.

I went to Rome for my 50th Birthday from Ny this Hotel was fab for my small budget the breakfast buffet was incredible on 15ft table the neighborhood was very grand, very close to the city center the staff was very sweet especially (Roberta and Gabriele) just a lovey hotel only draw back the internet suck and the electricity ran on a timer I would stay there again

Rooms very spacious and well furnished, but small balcony and no chairs or tables, bathroom quite poor. I booked a triple room and they gave us a double forcing one of us to sleep on the sofa that opened for one night, even though they had promised us that they would immediately bring the third bed in the room. Very abundant breakfast with a lot of variety of foods, but not of the best quality. Staff very helpful and friendly, hotel all in all not bad.

Staff is OK for a big city such as Rome. However the hotel in itself is not 4 star level. The room needs to be refurbished, the breakfast is not a 4star buffet.
Finally, had to go down to the restaurant to ask for room srrvice as they did not take the order through the phone. Quite dissapointing for the price we pay.

Lovely hotel. Close to all the tourist attraction but far enough away to feel relaxed . Beautiful area of the city with lots of places to eat.
The hotel bar and restaurant are top class with lovely staff. Food was excellent

It is not a four star, really bad beds, the air conditioning did not work well, breakfasts without free tables, the lousy restaurant, if you doubt the worst of the hotel.
I will repeat my stay in Rome, but surely not in this hotel.

Boutique hotel located close to viale di Trastevere. Some rooms with balconies ( no chairs to seat ) offer nice setup. Lobby a bit hot specially on this summer period. Recently renovated /upgraded, lifts size a bit unconfortable for the hotel dimension. Next to bar/restaurant. Easy to get around by tram or bus to reach tourist places and train stations.

Hotel Ripa is very close to Trastevere where you can chill and have some drinks after work. The rooms are OK and gym is small but it has all apparatus you need. You can have the continental or typical Italian breakfast.

Great hotel with very comfortable double rooms. Magnificent value for money, with a very varied and good quality breakfast.
It has a gym and restaurant, but the latter is not recommended.
The kitchen does not meet what is requested. Standardized dishes and hard pasta, not correct.
At least, the service is nice, but the chef's ego with pretensions is a problem.

Location is good, near to tram and bus stop, small shops and pharmacy nearby. Rooms are modern, with fridge, but no kettle. Aircon can just about cope in the height of summer. Shower is good, but bath is a little narrow so the curtain sticks to you when you shower. Breakfast is good, wide selection of cakes, pastries and fruit juices and plenty of coffee. Some hot food, bacon, sausages and scrambled egg. Hotel has its own restaurant for evening food. Staff are friendly and helpful, can arrange taxis and tours.

The cleanliness is very improvable. Neglected and outdated rooms. In a room for four people we had to ask for the fourth towel every day. The bathroom better not talk. The bath upon arrival was full of hair. The situation was fine, but it was the ugliest area of Trastevere neighborhood. Next time I go to Rome I will look for another

We loved the experience at the hotel Ripa, a great area to stay, it is in the trastevere a little remote not much but enough to rest and hear noise (just cross the avenue and you are in the heart of Trastevere), warm, clean rooms super comfortable and beautiful. Very good area to go out to dinner and eat as the IVO or as MONTECARLO. Very good service and great breakfasts.

Great

Dilapidated, far below a 4 * hotel.

Dilapidated, far below a 4 * hotel.
The pros: very pleasant staff, good and generous breakfast (avoid chemical and very sweet fruit juices), the restaurant a little more expensive than outside but very good and the servers very friendly.
The -: poor quality bedding (the springs of the mattress caused a wound in my back that I discovered in the morning because I had bled during the night), many stains on the textiles in the bedroom and elsewhere in the hotel, damaged furniture, finishes due to poorly done work, awful decoration. I leave some pictures for you to realize. Very above the price of a 4 * star considering the services. We will not be returning.
