Our room was modern and had some unique lighting with a variety of colors. The bathroom was spacious and handle all our toiletries. We had a balcony that was nice. The breakfast was very good and had a variety of food everyone would find something they would enjoy. The Ripa hotel restaurant was good but the service was less than okay. The male server would go to every table around us, multiple times, but just avoided coming by ours. I would give the service 2 stars and the food 4 stars.

This is a very modern looking hotel compared to most hotels in Europe and in Italy. The decor is an odd mix of suedo gold gild and pop art. The room was very large and set up for a family. I slept on one of the 'kid' beds which was a very close to the ground fold out from a couch. I was exhausted so I slept OK. It wasn't great. The bathrooms in Italy are very challenging. The shower head was mounted on the side wall of an oblong shower. It had a curtain instead of a door and after 4 ladies had showered, the room had flooded each time and all the way into the carpet of the 'master' bedroom. It was clean and quiet. Overall not a bad place.

Nice hotel and staff with a different interior. Our room was large and spacious with a balcony. The hotel is located a few blocks from the main streets (noticeable when you walk back and forth at 40 degrees to the hotel). The breakfast was no special, high level of noise of the music in the cantina. Very nice restaurant in the same building where locals eat their lunch and appertivo.

Excellent spot... the people were super nice, the restaurant was great (although service was a tad slow) the morning free breakfast is wonderful, too bad they can't scramble eggs and both morning the eggs were runny, bacon was undercooked. Then again we're in Italy American breakfast is not a necessity, but a fresh hot Graffa is.

A great and very accommodating hotel. Location is on a convenient spot from other tourist spots and rooms are bigger compared to others for a cheaper price. The design has a modern vibe that provides great pictures for tourists who stay here.

The hotel is a farce. The photographs that appear on the website are nothing compared to reality. The service offered by the staff is the worst that anyone can have in a service company. It even seems that they do not care about staying well with the guest and that they have loyal customers who come back. The services offered leave much to be desired, the Internet has limitations, that is, you can not enter many pages, or download files to work. The facilities are not of a 4 star hotel, and the area is not central at all, besides it is all under construction around it.

Ripa Roma is a trendy hotel in the center of Rome, of excellent standing with trendy decor. We will appreciate its location in Trastevere, the proximity of the tram (lines 3 and 8) and its calm.

No nice view, unless you are on the top floor. We will still appreciate the balconies (only the 1st floor is lacking) and reversible air conditioning in all rooms.

Petis lunches included in her rooms.

Really affordable, comfortable and clean hotel on the quieter side of Trastevere. Design modern and special items and other props everywhere. The only minus at the hotel is the really cramped and slow lifts. Breakfast with basic continental, surprisingly little vegetables available. Plus good air conditioning. A few minutes walk to the wonderful lively side of Trastevere, numerous small alleys and squares and dozens of cafes and restaurants. In the other direction also a few minutes walk to Sundays markets with over a mile of really stalls. Affordable jewelry, shoes, dresses and bags, quality no design. Hotel location is good. Bus 115 provides easy access to the "scenic route" near the Vatican, tram 3 & 8 to the sights and the end of the shopping street (Venetzia) and also to the Trastevere train station, which takes about 30min to the airport (Leonardo da Vinci)

Nice modern & artsy room interior & lobby, great water temp with typical European shower tub (that usually gets the floor wet when I use it) great WiFi, nice breakfast, wonderful AC for the hot & humid summer, but our bed was a but a bit springy & digs into certain pressure points on your body when laying in some positions; and some staff members are not as hospitable or friendly.

I often go there for work. The rooms are ok, maybe a little dated for the level of the hotel, but if you get a room with a terrace you are really lucky! Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Restaurant a bit too pretentious and expensive to be in the "Trastevere" district, it's just right for tourists.

Good hotel

Good hotel

The entrance draws attention with all the sculptures that it presents in it.

The room despite being of great size disappointed us as it was somewhat neglected.

The breakfast buffet is impressive as it has pastries, cereals, fruit with scrambled eggs and bacon.

Mine is a very mixed judgment. The hotel is in a strategic area. Well served by bars and restaurants for every taste and price. The staff is courteous and efficient. The structure has modern and particular furnishing elements in the hall, in the breakfast room (excellent for variety and quality) but also on the various floors.
I was given a double room with a free upgrade. Modern and minimalist furniture. However there were details that in my opinion, in a 4 * of that price range (not luxury but not even low cost), I can't be there. Patches in the concrete floor, parts peeling off a wall, dirty terrace floor. Too bad because otherwise it would deserve a full score.

Nice hotel with a relaxed bath feel and atmosphere. Spacious rooms with some special furnishings.
The area is a bit "like that" but central and good as a base for all possible excursions around Rome.
The breakfast is good with typical continental touches.
Nice and helpful staff.
The keys are a bit strange and are left at the reception when you are not at the hotel. Something that is a bit cumbersome.

I went to a conference and I can say that the rooms are excellent, spacious and air-conditioned. The staff is courteous, clean bathrooms, possibility for those not attending the events to remain comfortably in the hall in peace where there are sofas, chairs and a wi-fi station.
The attached bar is very clean and the prices are low.
Just below the hotel there is a paid parking (moderate prices for Rome) so it is very convenient to arrive and leave the car in complete safety.

VERY unique place. The style and decor is unlike any I've seen at any hotel before. I would give them 5 stars if the beds weren't so stiff and uncomfortable. My wife and I had to ask for more blankets and pillows to literally put on the bed and sleep on it to have a good night sleep. Overall good experience and great breakfast. The blood orange juice?(I think) at breakfast was the highlight of breakfast each morning. It was so darn good.

Hotel is highly recommended! Breakfast great, huge rooms, family room with 2 Tv. Many business people.
Bath could be a bit more modern. Hotel is already a bit old. But that's not bad, you're out all day. Any time! Located in the center of Rome. Everything is within walking distance or with tram no 8 to piazza venezia and from there on.

I stayed with my family for five nights at this hotel. Honestly from a four star I expected more in the attention to detail, especially in the rooms. Even the old format key leaves a little to deserter. Many room doors with obvious beginnings of degradation on the bottom. As soon as we entered our family room we found the broken clothes hanger (a knob was missing). The walls would need a nice whitewash. The microscopic bath, without a minimum of support, with a tub having a very evident damage. I throws non-existent papers. The second double bed (sofa bed) very uncomfortable and positioned below the split of the conditioner (stuff not to do). Furniture to be reviewed absolutely. I gave it three stars just because the staff is extremely nice and helpful and for breakfast, which is four-star. It does not take long to fix it because entering the feeling is beautiful, just like a good four-star hotel.

Stay of 7 nights in August 2018 with a group of several families.
The rooms that were offered to us were not those that appeared on the web during the reservation, so we requested the change and they offered us completely new ones.
Breakfast acceptable, although no orange juice.
It is necessary to take into account the rate of 6.00.- per person per day charged in hotels of 4 stars or more.
Trastevere area with possibility of transport by tram and bus, restaurants, and church of Santa Maria de Trastevere nearby.
Attention of the correct personnel.

I was very disappointed with the breakfast on the assembly line style (croissants pococroccanti giant, low-quality automatic drinks, little in room service)
