Haven't been since Black Lily 2007 i think it was, but the Bilal with Johnny Popcorn show was Amazing!!!! Brought back awesome memories and made beautiful new ones. The staff was cool as all git out, Lol!!! I used to have my doubts about the place, but it has persevered thru Philly's music and arts scenes' rollercoaster of success. Well done and please keep up the great line ups, staff and events!!

Cool venue for lots of things. We went for a wedding trade show but I could see it being used for live shows, music, any kind of entertainment. It looked like they could serve food too. Had a large bar with varying beer, wine, and liquor selections.

The event was fine. Those French fries however were the bomb dot com!

Awesome comedy once a month come check it out and show local comedians they are appreciated !!!!

Great place to see live music (downstairs). Only one bar if you want a beverage.

Enjoyed my World Cafe Live experience in Philadelphia. Knowing that so many artists have performed there was a wonderful feeling. Went to see Glenn Bryan and Friends perform, Sunday night. It was awesome. He is awesome. My waitress was sweet; but, got my order wrong (because she didn't write anything down). Was disappointed; but, the great music/artists we went to support made me remember why l was there. I have no reservations about visiting again.

Great spot for live music! A lot of really talented musicians come through here and the sound is great.

The venue is very nice and The Carbon Leaf show was great! The food was sub par. Selection and quality has gone downhill in the last few years.

This venue was awesome! Great liquor selection, friendly bartenders, great sound. Loved the smaller, intimate size. Standing in the back row still felt like front stage !

We watched Helmet (metal band) play here, in the lower level showroom recently. The room where the concert occurred was fantastic! It was well designed acoustically and ergonomically for attendees. The prices for cocktails, of which they had a wide variety, were quite reasonable for the quality of the establishment. Service was also excellent. The show sounded absolutely great, and I attribute a good bit of this to the acoustically sound showroom. I have seen this band at three other places and the sound here was far and away the best. Nice job!

I wish places like this existed while I was still at Drexel.

The food has been improved and the staff have been better the last 2 times we've been. The music has always been great. Fantastic line ups.

Expensive and a consistent cover but always great music...

Had a nice time listen to Zap Band they still got it.Had some food and drinks.

Food is great, drinks are strong & 2 live music venues. Upstairs is more cozy with tables & waitresses. Downstairs is more of a traditional music venue with a large stage & a bar. Downstairs can accommodate a thousand people roughly, if I had to guess.

God I love this place, specifically, upstairs. Now that I'm in my 30s, cough cough, going to standing room only shows can get a little old. WCL upstairs is a great place to get a little something to eat, drink, and watch live music all at the same time. But don't get me wrong, the crowd and vibe are young and energetic.

Great venue with amazingly delicious food and awesome staff

I'm pissed. Went down for The Office Quizzo tonight. Been planning it for weeks. WCL did not sell tickets in advance. Got there an hour early. Line was up 4 flights of stairs and down the block. Couldnt even get in. Buncha jerks!

The ladies working the bar were Wonderful . Fast and courteous service.

Good ambience. Small, intimate venue. Solid food! Good service. Convenient location. Arrive early for popular events (eg Potter trivia)

Wonderful venue, great artwork on the walls, every staff member was friendly and pleasant! Food is really really good if you eat there too!

We were lucky enough to see Yuna perform here. The venue was intimate and perfectly lit. We got an up close experience with the performer and enjoyed it all. We had not eaten before, so we were able to catch dinner near the stage and then hop down to the front rows. This is a great venue to hear quality live music.

Super savory. I will probably become a regular. Prices are appropriate.

WCL is a multipurpose venue featuring two distinct stages that are in my opinion the best in Philly. The downstairs venue features beautiful woodwork, excellent lighting and the sound is perfect. There is a mezzanine level with tables and couches for dining before the show.

Upstairs Live is located at street level and is more of a cafe style setting. This stage is great for smaller, up and coming acts.

Great food and beverage options as well as fantastic customer service. Nightly happy hour specials make for a great meal before a show.

Venue can be rented for private functions including weddings. The event planning department does a fantastic job of bringing your wildest dreams to life to the best of their abilities. Don't worry if your idea is too crazy they will bring you back down to earth with their closest compromise.

If not for acoustic could have been a great music venue

World Cafe Live is a world class music venu - great acts, great vibe, great crowds.

Love this venue. Went to see Tyler Hilton, and while his music is great anywhere, he really seems to enjoy playing at World Cafe Live. The atmosphere is super chill and the people that tend to show up for these events really give off that brotherly-love vibe. I will for sure go back again and again. Also the wings are tasty if you are more interested in their food. They have a small selection but it seems carefully curated and everything I ve tried has been delicious!

Really unique and intimate location for shows! Tickets were very reasonably priced, parking adjacent, safe surroundings. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, looking forward to returning!

Great atmosphere and a relaxed place where you can feel close to the action.

This is the place to go for a light dinner and a show. Perfect date night! Other shows are SRO, but great acoustics and crowds. If you have a teen, this is a safe spot for them to go with friends. There are also lots of places for Mom and Dad to get a bite and more nearby if you wait.

Upstairs and downstairs were excellent. Staff was great. Enjoyed the show.

As a member of XPN I am biased yet it is a wonderful music venue. Did not eat or drink on this visit, a Free At Noon event.

Such a great place to see a show, especially upstairs! Upstairs has such a quiet and intimate atmosphere. I sat and talked with one of my favorite performers for a long time before and after the show.

World Cafe has a lot of different events from all different genres. I particularly like their story slams. The food is decent, and they have a loyalty program where you effectively get $25 back after each $250 you spend on food there.

Hands down my favorite venue in the Philly area. Medium sized and perfect for all shows. As a photographer for many local bands, the venue and its technicians are provide awesome lighting.

Nice place for music lover. I have visited here several time for some fun and the place was Very cool . The atmosphere was superb we can say that perfect for chill out.

Clean no rowdyness....good music pleasent staff...well worth the trip

While most of their offerings are not our kind of music, they are very eclectic and the place is great. We alreagy have reservations for an event there that is our style.

I've seen two shows here and both times confirmed that I would definitely be willing to go back. The food, drinks, and service were great and I loved that there's an option to purchase seats upstairs so you can still enjoy the show but don't have to stand the whole time.

I love world cafe live. Always checking out great artists around the city and world cafe live brings a lot of new talent for me to discover. An all around great atmosphere with personable and friendly staff. I definitely recommend anyone to experience a concert here and being open to various kinds of music!

Small, comfortable, easy to access venu. Parking was close and fairly priced. Walking the block to the entrance felt safe. Staff were friendly and available. Great experience!

Great artists, decent drinks and food and weirdly clean bathrooms for a venue. However NOT a great place if you have a medical condition that causes pain with standing for long periods, you have to pay extra for seating and the seating isnt great. Only reason i cant give it fove stars.
