The food in the lounge is excellent with a substantial vegan friendly option designed to satisfy an appetite. The entertainment was amazing. Definitely worth checking out. I only wish they could have dimmed the fairy lights in the eating area so that we could see the stage more easily.
I really like going to World Cafe live they have a great selection of food and their concerts our wonderful.
Service and food is incredible. Very affordable.
The live music is always a treat as well, especially when the local greats take the stage.
Food decent, drinks decent. Not enough seating for event. People clustered around floor.
Great atmosphere and food! Metered street parking right outside but free after 8pm on weekends.
Great place to enjoy some great performance of different artists. Love coming to this place, wheelchair accessible and a spot to enjoy great music. I also like the location. By being few blocks from 30th Street Station is great because you can just take the train and walk few blocks and you'll be at the World Cafe Live. This is very convenient for people that don't like to drive their vehicles to the city and pay high prices on parking. Also love how big is this place for big music events. I will give them five stars if this place will have a family restroom accessible for wheelchairs.
The World Cafe was perfect good food and good music. We had reserved seating.
Which was a surprise for our fifteen tickets
purchased.
Great place to see a band. Intimate space and good acoustics.
Great little venue. Food was delicious and the staff were all very nice. Will definitely be looking for future shows to attend.
Staff was very accommodating to me and my friends since I had my service dog with me. The concert was amazing.
Nice place to see a show but, If you decide to pay more for the comfort of sitting in the balcony beware! The ticket price is higher & the sound system buries the vocals mix up there. I like to hear the singing in the mix and that appears to be directed to those down on the floor.
Philly has so much great music and this is where it all starts. New and established bands and acts perform their hits on one of two stages. Upstairs is a comfy restaurant with great cuisine and bar with a small stage. Downstairs is a standing room where many great acts like Adele got their start! Free live concerts at noon on Friday. Listen to 88.5 FM for a taste of the delicious fare at the cafe! #wclexperience
Great venue and good food. The upstairs is very cool for the smaller shows.
World Cafe is a fantastic music venue. The downstairs venue is one of my favorites, where the mezzanine has full table service and the general level has limited table service plus standing room (depending on the act), with a full bar on the lower level. Even with the bigger acts the floor is never too crowded and you really get an intimate feeling from this venue, which is great when they bring in well-known artists as well as up-and-coming stars. Highly recommended!!
Just saw Delta Rae here and it was amazing. The venue is clean, great options for seating (tables, couches, chairs). The sound and lighting were awesome. Bartenders are fast and fair with their pours.
Great venue. I wish they would up their beer game though. It would be great to have some delicious local brews while catching a show.
Great shows! Wxpn and World Cafe Live are the best in Philly!
Amazing place to see a show. Food is good and it's nice to be able to have table service.
My experience was meeting an old (and older) co-worker and his wife for a show. Specifically because his son was performing and my ex-coworker (from Jersey) wanted to grab a beer while he was in the City. I was in the area for some other business that didn't end until about 5:30 and the show was at 7, so I decided that with a Happy Hour special, I'd just come in early. I was pleasantly surprised!
Great atmosphere. All the employees were welcoming, drinks were good the close proximity to the artist creates an intimate setting. The environment gives you a sense of artistic professionalism that it sometimes lost at other venues.
Nice place the comedy show was good but the food was pricey and it taste horrible.
Saw Cookie Rabinowitz band. Awesome venue, fabulous band.
Beautiful place I enjoyed every minute I was there for my cousins party.
Saw Vance Gilbert here Aug 24th and he was amazing! Get a reservation for dinner when you buy your ticket as they do sell out. The food here is great, and so is the service.
Great location, friendly staff and beautiful venue.
Perfect sound and great for intimate experiences with your favorite artists
Great place for the kind of stuff offered there. Good selection of food and drink.
Music and staff were excellent can't wait to come back!!!
One of the best music venues in Philadelphia. My long time favorite.
Fantastic venue, spacious and multiple levels! Clean bathrooms. Cheap coat check. Delicious food available in the performance space.
I was here for the BTF and was a really good line up. The place was clean, friendly and super welcoming
Nice, clean venue, and intimate atmosphere that is ideal for checking out live music.
Came here to see a show (which was fantastic 'Arthur Buck' and surprisingly had one of the most amazing pieces of salmon with spaghetti squash that I've ever had!!
Great space, I've only been there for The Moth, but prices for food and drink are reasonable and I love the food.
I go here almost everytime Bancroft get tickets. Performances are great!! I love the diversity of music played.
Hard to describe what this place lacks. It seems sterile somehow. Maybe a bit too upscale for no good reason.
Music has absolutely the best sound in the city! Beautiful environment!
The only problem we had was being able to see once we got into the venue. The house lights were turned off for the band but the bar area had little or no lighting.
I was here for an event and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food served was very delicious and good music.
Went here to attend The Michael Brooks Show's live taping. The staff is really amazing, the avenue is great and the food is really good.
I went here with a group of friends for a Jazz show and drinks. The staff was very friendly, on point with refills, etc. And for shows, the acoustics in this place were awesome! I definitely recommend this venue for dinner and a show if you're looking for a place that has live entertainment.
Went to a wedding here what a fantastic place. The food was delicious, most people went back for seconds.
Love it! Loved the showand the food. Happy hour wine, not so good. I didn't expect much for $4.00 any way.
Love this place. Good music emerging and established artists. Great acoustics. Good food but limited menu changes seasonally
Love this place. I've been here for several live shows and it's always a good time. Really nice venue
I didn't hear music but they put ke on to "Time " and they were all Rockstars shoutout to tue super cute girl with the nose ring she had swagg for days!
Sharp space with friendly servers and a dynamic, highly varied music scene. Live music nigh daily!
Really enjoyed seeing Travis Greene. Would love more R&B and Gospel artist performing there.
This is a nice little venue. I've only been there the one time but it was a great experience! We were really close to the stage and the only trouble we had was figuring out how to get inside. I think we went through a back door, but it wasn't a problem.
Great music venue. Staff was friendly and efficient. Sound was great! I would be happy to go back.
This is a great venue. I've seen several shows here. The drinks are good and the food is good. Whether you're catching a show upstairs or downstairs, you'll have a great time. Surprisingly easy Street parking outside, or the garage around the corner. The sister venue in Wilmington, DE "The Queen" is also very cool with a similar setup.
This may be a matter of personal preference. I love that it was free to get in. Street parking was also free Friday night. I ordered quesadillas which was reasonably priced. The bartender was a great multi tasker.
Seating is on a first come first serve basis. I was told reservations are able to be made ahead of time.
There is a small dance area. The crowd was chill. There was no riff raff so it was an overall good atmosphere. The band can be easily seen easily regardless of where you are. This is a small intimate setting.
We entered the building in the side. The walk way looked like an alley.
Great space for a show. Great performance by K T Tunstall except for the idiot behind us who talked all through the show
Great venue. Always pleasant volunteers. One of my very favorite spots in Philadelphia.
