This is one of my all time favorite spots to watch a live performance in Philadelphia.

It's really well located in the University area of the city and has early access to other parts of the venue. This is great because you can get there early and not have to stand in a line outside the building.

I saw Mark Broussard there and it was a bucket list item checked! Great show, great venue!

I saw Kate Voegele and Tyler Hilton on 12/11 and the show was amazing! Sound quality was awesome! Good clean sound no matter where you stood. Bar was well stocked and the bartenders were super friendly!

My only gripe is the layout of the stage and audience. There are tables you can reserve which are raised up a bit, which is nice if you can get one, but the general admission area is just about level with the stage, so if you're short like me, good bloody luck seeing who's playing.

Other than that, it's a pretty great venue in a good part of town. I'd still come back for more shows!

The atmosphere was wonderful. The band, FANTASTIC!!! four the first time in awhile I actually got out of my seat. All the employees that I interacted with all had a smile when they were approached. Valley Forge & World Cafe Live, I will definitely be back.

We attended our first visit to Free at Noon with a great performance of the Trumpet Chics, and really enjoyed the venue. Mostly standing room only, but not a bad spot in the space to enjoy the performance. There was a bar to get drinks which we did not realize before arriving, but we were allowed to bring water inside. The volume near the end of the performance was somewhat too loud, as a few younger children were covering their ears.

Happy hour had great deals. The music when we were there was exceptional. I look forward to going back. Although the prices without happy hour specials are steep. There food was great and the beer selection was decent.

They have great music both upstairs and downstairs. The bar and beer is ok. The food needs work. They just created a new menu I haven't tried yet but I'll give it a chance the next time we go. For the last few concerts we had dinner at nearby restaurants and just drinks at the venue.

Really great venue for music. Excellent selection of beers and other drinks. Staff were very helpful.

My only disappointment was that the food menu is somewhat limited, but the food we had was well prepared. Would definitely come back to Philadelphia to see another show here.

Great live music venue! Upstairs small stage, full bar, tables and chairs, good food. Downstairs, full stage, full bar. Small seating area depending on the concert; tables and chairs or open floor.
Amazing musicians have played at this venue, a MUST visit!

Very nice place. Good for small or large meetings and reunion. The parking garage is minutes away from the cafe. Street parking is also available. The also have large conference room that requires reservation.

The venue was fine, the sound was horrible. On the right side of the stage (I think it was actually tucked under the stage) there was a sizable speaker that had nothing but the Bass guitar coming out of it. It drowned everything else out.

My time at World Cafe Live was phenomenal!! The wait staff in the upper level are really good and kind. The food is large portions and always phenomenal! I recommend the chicken and waffles - the fries are perfect!

The music venue is A+ too! Great acoustics, the band(Denizen, highly recommend) definitely showed the true potential of the sound in the room. Their keyboard player definitely enamored the room too!

Check em out! Have fun! The drinks are great too!

Very nice and classy venue. I went to see John Flynn, sound quality was fantastic and I had no problem getting a decent seat at the bar. The bartender was very quick and helpful. Drinks were pricy as it always is in the city, $8 Tom Collins. Had a $6 creme brulee which was very tasty. Overall it was a very good experience, I would definitely return.

World Cafe Live is a premier Philadelphia music venue affiliated with the local independent radio station WXPN. It offers multiple stages, with one smaller upstairs and a large room downstairs, allowing for simultaneous performances. Every time I've been to a concert here, the acoustics have been of the finest quality (said as one who has attended performances weekly to monthly for over a decade). Well known performers often play there, and they also have many lesser known, especially local acts and events. There are various drink & food options, and it is fairly easy to get to, though the parking options around 30th & Walnut are not ideal.

Been to World Cafe Live a few times and its a great venue to see your favorite Band/Artist, I been to both sections of the venue for shows The Lounge and the Music Hall downstair. The food at The Lounge was ok I order a burger cooked medium well and when I got it the burger was cooked well done instead, despise my food order experience I still recommend this venue for Live Music.

Went here tonight to see a show by my favorite acoustic trio, Toh Kay. The show was wonderful, but I know you all want to hear about the venue...

When I walked in I found my way over to the doors of the mezzanine of "Downstairs Live". A young man, (who's name I don't remember), who was very nice led my friend and I over to our seats on the mezzanine, up at the bar stools at the counter. Almost as immediately as we sat down, our waitress by the name of Caitlin (the blonde Caitlin) greeted us and asked us if we wanted something to eat. We ordered wings and some sodas, all of which were absolutely fantastic. Probably the best wings I have ever eaten. My friend also ended up ordering a burger which he claims was fantastic and great fries that we both picked at. All of the staff was super friendly, and the food exceeded my expectations.

We had a great view of the stage from the mezzanine. The sound of the venue was very crisp and clear. The acoustics in the room are also very nice. World Cafe Live is a very clean and nice looking place. Seriously, it was probably the best looking venue I've been to. The online tour doesn't show the place justice.

Overall, my experience at Downstairs Live at World Cafe Live Philadelphia was great. I have no complaints. Everything was very clean, (even the bathrooms!) If you have a favorite music artist playing here, look forward to a truly amazing experience.
