What a great place to buy your safety toe shoes for work. Great selection, great prices, and outstanding customer service. I buy a pair from them every year. You have a customer for life.

I've never personally visited the store but have ordered multiple times online. They have an awesome selection and very reasonable prices. I've ordered 3 pairs of Doc's "Dr. Marten" slip on steel toed work boots. These boots are so nice and comfortable, you'll fight with yourself on whether or not to even wear them to work. This is the whole reason I've bought 3 pair. I work in one pair and the other two pair I wear when I'm not working. I highly recommend working person and their online website. If you order from them you're getting a high quality item(s), fast shipping, and great customer service if you need to use that option. This is my go to place when ordering anything work related, it will be yours too if you choose to do business with them.

I was very pleased with the customer service response that I received when I placed my first initial order. I tried to order goods on line that stated "free shipping". However, being that I live in Hawaii, that was not so. I called into the customer service department and the gal gave me a opt code to use to decrease the cost of shipping for me. The goods came in a decent time frame. I'm just glad it was items not needed right away. The quality of the items are EXCELLENT!! Looking forward to doing more business with Working Person's Store.

If you buy boots here you'll be sorry if you have to deal with their customer service. They apparently don't believe in standing behind their products and will give you an attitude if they have to deal with a warranty claim. I bought a pair of boots here and one of my boots started peeling its tread off the bottom within a few weeks and they gave me grief about getting them warrantied. I believe in giving business to companies that will stand behind their products and help customers out if there are quality problems. I won't be doing business here anymore.

DO NOT order from this company. I used a Visa gift Card at this online store and ended up returning my item. 2 days after the return went through, someone stole the balance off the card with an online purchase. That means the person knew the card number, exp date, and security code. I've used that card one time and it never left my house. This company's security system is compromised and when I tried to notify their fraud department they refused to believe anything was wrong with their system and said there are other ways for people to steal that information. Give me a break!!! Two days after the return authorization and the card gets compromised. An obvious lack of security in their system and they don't seem to care one bit. Avoid at all costs!!!!!!

I'm a first time buyer at The Working Person's Store. Your shipping was fast! I made the mistake in my discount, I notified the store by phone and the discount was taken care on your end.

I messed up because I wanted my name on my shirts. That didn't happen, I made more mistakes while shopping because for some strange reason, I was in a hurry and I don't know why!

I had a good experience with the service from the staff with my phone calls and emails. There's no doubt, the service is right there.

Many stores sell clothing, this store sells Service!

I worked with the customer service and they were so helpful and courteous. The sizes of the boots vary so they helped me on the returns so I could find the right boot

I've bought boots there several times over the years, and I've always been happy with the selection and the service.

Very disappointed. Always hear commercials about this place. Decided to drive 45 minutes here & would have had more help at big box store. I try to shop local, but in this case I'll take my business elsewhere... Don't waste your time coming here!

Purchasing from WPS was easy! The hardest thing about making my purchase was what to buy , how many of each and what colors were right for me. As with any purchase on line, I bought the wrong size, washed all of them and feel because I did so I'm not able to return them for the correct size. My bust!

Bought 2 pair of hiking shoes one low with light weight material the other a high fit boot. But when I received the low profile hiking shoe the fit was wrong and caused a lot of pain in my ankles. Very easy process to access my account and get a return label for the shoes took to UPS and dropped off ( no cost to me) . Haven't received the credit yet but am sure as soon as they receive them they will credit my account.

Everything was great from ordering to shipping to receiving the product.

Horrible on line store. They deserve a ZERO out of ten. I placed an order in early July! Still never received it!!! Then I placed another order in August! Still never received that one yet!!! Unbelievable! When I call I get different answers depending on which operator answers. None of which make sense ...one says the company is still making the product!?
And another says the shipping is taking long!? What are you using pony express!?
I emailed the ceo...never answered me.
Don't order from this place they are horrible

I had a great experience with The Working Persons Store they had the style and size of the boot I was looking for and had the best price on the net. Also they shipped my boots to me earlier than originally projected I will surely do business with them in the future.

Horrible company, they don't even hold any stock...they drop ship everything from the manufacturer....and they don't tell you, its a bait and switch...

When i called and spoke to a manager, she was rude and argumentative...not an ideal person for customer service.

In my opinion, this is not the site you want to shop from...not all e-tailers are created equally...

Employees here are friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive to customers needs. The inventory is of good quality with a vast diverse selection. The only things this place is missing is free coffee and neon lights to draw in more customers.

Working Person's has good product at fair prices. I especially like the sale prices! I used to get my work wear from another supplier. I now buy all my work clothes and footwear at Working Person's. Great place to do business!

Update: Tick tock, tick tock.... still no delivery. AND, you notice the response about the refund, and that I asked for an email to reply and NOTHING. Original Post: Rarely do I post a negative review, only when truly warranted. I placed an order on 7/24/18 for four pair of Wrangler work pants, which I still have not received (8/27/18). I contacted customer service this morning, and the very kind lady apologized and said they are working on the order ("purchasing has been working to fill the order every day") and said they are having difficulty getting the order filled by the manufacturer. If it wasn't Wrangler, and some off-name brand, I might believe they are having difficulty - but really, Wrangler? So back up to order day - why did the item show available and not on back-order (I asked that question and the nice customer service lady said the inventory on their site is not live - as a customer, that would have been nice to know) Or, even better, mention that it might take over a month to fill your order! Yes, I could cancel the order, but I chose to use a store credit (from a previous order for boots that fell apart after one-month). A refund would have been my first choice; but oh yeah, they don't give refunds, only store credit. To Owner: I need your email address.

This may be the 2nd review because I'm not sure if my first review was submitted correctly.

I was ordering two Key brand Hickory shirts (size: XLregular) in a rush. After I completed my order, I realized I accidentally ordered XLtall. This was 100% my fault. I emailed the customer service dept to admit my mistake and ask for help in possibly changing my order to the correct size so that I would not have to re-order. Within 24 hours, I was contacted by Lisa from Customer Service. She acknowledged my problem and assured me she would do everything she could do to change the order. She kept in touch with me until she was able to confirm she was able to fix my mistake.

The shirts were delivered and it's my opinion that the strength and quality is comparable to Ben Davis toughness at a more affordable price.

Being helped by Lisa made all the difference. shopping online at the Working Person Store was DEFINITELY A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE and I will be a return customer for sure.

This is the worst store I have ever had to deal with. I've tried ordering from them twice and both times they have been out of items I ordered and they don't even send you an e-mail to let you know. The first time I had other items that were in stock but since they were out of on item they didn't send any of my order to say on shipping costs. After 3 weeks I finally called them (if you live on the west coast good luck they close at 5pm ET and are closed on the weekends) and was told it will be two weeks before my item is in and when I asked about the other items they told me I could pay more to have them shipped now since it will be two separate shipments, great customer service. I cancelled the entire order.

I did another order over a week ago to give them another chance and I have been checking on it. They say they'll ship items within 48 hours but my order still hasn't shipped. I called and was told they should be getting what I ordered in soon 2-3 days hopefully then it will ship. I asked if they'll be speeding up shipping since it was supposed to be here in 7-10 days and I was told no the 7-10 days is from when they have the item in stock? Why are you selling something you don't have in stock? I then brought up that they say they'll ship within 48 hours of receiving an order and I was told that's for express shipping 1 or 2 day shipping? I cancelled my order again. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, I gave them two tries and now I'm done. DO NOT ORDER FROM WORKING PERSON STORE!

This is absolutely the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. What good is a phone number if it deliberately has a busy signal. My order has been in process for 6 weeks but when you click on the item and it is in stock. I WOULD LOVE TO TALK TO A PERSON ABOUT THIS. But you can't. Wish i could give negative stars.

I placed an order with UPS 3 Day shipping to ensure I had the item when I needed it. It had four days to arrive on time. Five days passed with no package and no tracking number. I sent a message to WPS Support asking for the status of the package. I was informed that it had been shipped with UPS Ground instead of my paid 3 Day shipping. I requested a refund and was told they had submitted a request for it. It's been 3 days since with no updates nor a refund. I sent another message asking for the status of the refund. If a refund goes through I'll consider giving 2 more stars for cooperation. Shipping mishap aside, the correct item arrived. I will continue to shop here if a refund goes through and this does not happen again.

I always have such a hard time finding my husband work pants, he only likes a specific brand, cut, material, etc. Working Person's Store is the ONLY place that I am able to find them short of riffling through piles of clothes at discount stores, hoping some store was unable to sell those specific work pants and gave them up.

Decent prices but.... NO FREE SHIPPING on returns. Only Free Shipping on Exchanges. I will not shop here again. The Timberland boots I received from them did not fit.The Wide was not wide, even looked narrow. I will go to Lehigh Outfitters instead and other shoe/boot stores that offer FREE Return Shipping

I must say I was concerned at first about buying boots on line, but the Working Person Store made a believer out of me. It's difficult to find Wolverine boots locally but I found the model I wanted at a great price in their on line store. Like all shoes and boots you never know if they will fit properly till you try them on, so when I received my boots and they were a little large, I contacted customer service and they were very eager to help me. They shipped out a replacement pair once they received the first pair back and there was no freight charge to return or receive the replacement pair. They make it easy to get the boots or shoes your really want at a great price without the worries of returning them for an exchange.

The right pair of boots really makes a world of difference and I intend to purchase more in the future from the Working Person's Store.

I've been very pleased with my steel toed shoes. They run large enough I was able to order my actual size to get my wide width and install an insert. They feature a no slip grip.

They had and have all the things I was looking for (boots and still going to get a different pair soon enough from them).

It's easy dealing with them and I even had to return the boots I just got for an exchange because I got the wrong size and it's painless and free. Can't beat that with a big stick!

I'll be shopping here and telling my friends to do the same now.

Nice people but saying sorry doesn't help, telling me when I place my order it's not available helps. I question if they have stock or just pass the order off to a fulfillment company. So if your counting on receiving your order by the promised date get ready for disappointment. I believe you can have a bad day but three. My third and exact same experience each time. Disappointed and Done.

Into week 5 waiting on an order that I was told would take 1-2 weeks. Every time I call and ask they tell me they will get back with me after they call the manufacture. STILL WAITING FOR THE CALL AFTER 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!

Great fit !I could not find a shoe my size.6 1/2 is hard to come by for a men's shoe. I am a meat manager and on my feet all day . Great comfort.
