This place has come a long way! I've lived here almost 4 years so I've seen the changes first hand. The new staff are all very professional and helpful. And the place LOOKS good too. They remodeled everything. I highly recommend if your looking for a place In Woodland.

***UPDATE although I still 100% stand by Brianne, there has been a few disappointing moments for me recently. The communication between maintenance, the office, and their tenants have shown to be far from perfect. Resulting in a few upsetting encounters for me. But I would say that is my only real complaint***

This was my first real experience finding a place to live for myself, so I had plenty of anxiety about the whole thing. That being said, Brianne Miskit has been the most helpful and reassuring person imaginable from day 1! The entire process was smooth, easy to understand, and Brianne was always very willing to answer my questions... even if I asked them 15 different times! I have never felt forgotten or ignored. The apartment was very clean, everything works as it should, and any repairs that have needed to be taken care of have been done in a very timely manner. I have had nothing but a good experience here! Thank you Brianne for helping me feel comfortable!

This company is absolutely awful. I submitted my application about two weeks ago for an apartment that they manage in Woodland California. However, after realizing we cannot schedule a tour for the apartment and the apartment manager was being not very responsive. We have decided to move on and seek for better housing. However, the manager said that it was been more than 72 hours since I signed the document so they will not be giving me back any of the holding deposits. We all understand that the application fee is not refundable, but from all of the documents that I received after signing the application, there's not a single word that saying there's a 72 hours limit. However, they said back a disclaimer page that shows it has a 72 hours deadline. (See attachment) to be honest you can barely see what it says on the page and at the same time, the manager did not mention that 72 hours deadline. Most importantly, We didn't get a chance to take a look at the apartment, as well as the manager was gone for a few days, so we weren't able to get the information from her in a timely manner.

I would NOT recommend this company to anyone and If you are looking for an apartment, please avoid this company unless you don't care how shady they are. Totally disappointed and I'm planning to file a lawsuit against this company in the small claims court. I know I might have to spend more money in order to get my money back which means that I'm getting nothing back. But I can't walk away and let this company take away people's holding deposit like they are supposed to. If you do a little bit of research it shouldn't be hard to find out how bad the management is. It's all over the Internet.

We did found a much more suitable apartment because their customer service has turned us down and because the leasing manager wasn't being so responsible and we haven't heard anything for her about our approval process. We have no choice, but to move on because time is not on our side. How can you unlawfully withhold people's deposit when your leasing management was gone for a few days and she also failed to mention the 72 hours time limit to withdraw, nor the contract that everyone has to sign is being clear enough? As there are so many people who have filed a complaint against pacific living properties for the same matter. We have enough reason to believe pacific living properties have been doing this purposefully for years in order to make more money, which is extremely unethical.

The reason why the apartment is being held for two weeks is that the leasing manager who oversees the woodland village apartment was gone for three days. I felt so sorry for the people that have been turned down by Pacific Living Properties due to their terrible management. We have spoken with a couple of tenant law experts and they all said Pacific Living Properties is withholding my deposit unlawfully. As the legal process begins to progress, we are not going to share too many details here, but we will keep on updating this review.

We sincerely hope nobody is going to fall into this trap like me, as many people are looking for an apartment in this unusual crazy time. Stealing and take advantage of people who are in need during this pandemic is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. once again we are SHAME on you and your team, Kailey, do better.

WE SHAME ON YOU, pacific living

(if this review interests you please look at the Daily Democrat February 8th article "HOUSING") As a tenant at this apartment complex I feel it's my obligation to tell people about this complex in the strategies to to force people to move out because of the rent increases that they are going to impose. As soon as the new management took over they immediately started renovation which would have been nice if they would have hired the right people the paint job is horrible they spray-painted baby blue over the doors and now there's a dark brown outline of the old paint job when you open the doors which they do not plan to fix it looks really ghetto and is embarrassing to have company over not only that but for the past month of their Renovations they have been neglecting all of the washer and dryer rooms and it took over six months for them to actually start repairing them but they had 11 million dollars to buy the complex and then after they bought it they had to have had several hundred thousand to paint and do the renovation on it but they couldn't repair the washers and dryers we used to have clean clothes to go to work everyday and pay the bills they are trying to increase. Every time I call in to let them know if something it's always a delay and it never gets done when they say it will very bad complex and management is only looking to make money as soon as you move in there will be raising rent so look out for that

The parking situation is a disaster ! There is absolutely zero parking. I have never seen this at any other apartment complex. We have to park so far away from the apartment complex every night and walk with heavy bags of groceries. Or come home from work and sit in our car for HOURS on the parking lot waiting for a spot to open up. Clearly the management does not care about this issue at all since it has been addressed by sooo many people for years ! Not to mention the cars that are parked on the parking lot do not have a parking pass and haven t been moved for months. There s also glass all over the far parking lot since cars are being broken into. It got so bad that people were parking 20 cars across the street by the gym, until all the cars got towed. I don t know if it s nice living here because I can NEVER GET HOME ! also the customer service LIES to everyone. At first the said that they will be towing the cars without a parking pass, then someone else said that they are not. The manager said that the parking situation will be resolved in 3 weeks and 3 MONTHS later nothing happened. So are we paying to sleep in our cars on the street ??? There s not even street parking ! It s a mess. It s bad really bad. I m currently looking to speak with someone higher in charge because clearly the management is horrible. Also make sure you don t order anything because all the packages I ve ordered have been stolen.

too many changes in management...like 7 or more in 9 years. Some positive changes in the property over the last 2 years but they fired the most effective management team about 1 and a half years ago Crazy increases in the cost to live here 2 years ago I paid $850/mo rent. now I pay $1300 plus water, garbage, and sewage plus a portion of the the cost for heating the water and community electricity. Too bad Nathan and Angelica aren't here any more at least the trash and dog waste wouldn't be all over the place and the laundry rooms would be clean. Been here almost 10 years and would like to feel good about staying here I guess I'll see.

The complex was reasonably priced before new management came in with the intent of throwing the residents out on the street, now they have continued to raise rates beyond a reasonable amount to accomplish that goal. The first course of action was to give the place the worst paint job I ever seen without leaving the country. The doors and trim are as bad as others have mentioned and the colors make it look like a motel six from Haiti.Once again in the attempt to put lipstick on a pig and call it a prom queen they put a new roof on, choosing black because it would go with the "new paint".Unfortunately due to a obvious lack of knowledge they didn't realize a black roof would increase the temperature in the top units by seven degrees in the summer.Normally this would not be a problem but the entire complex has no insulation in the walls and its common for the units to become hotter then it is outside, only made worse by their "renovations".Expect electrical bills in the hundreds for the summer because the wall mounted units could not keep up before, with the new roof it will only become worse. All repairs will be cosmetic to lure in people without a knowledge of such things. However the one thing I can say about the new owners from ohio is that it is obvious that they have done things like this before and know how to use predatory leasing and bullying to get people to sign contracts before they realize they were duped and left in a unforgiving lease. They have also decided that not only is a one bedroom worth upwards of $1100 a month but they are also making people pay water, sewage and garbage separate adding further to the cost (not something I have ever seen before but i not surprised with these people).Next will be a tax to breath the asbestos filled air of the complex. In closing stay away from this place it was once a affordable place that had issues with crime and violence (stabbings etc) and none of that has changed other then the reasonably priced part.Try to bring that up with them and they just smile and point at the horrible paint job as "progress".
