Such a great day out! Loads to do and the safari was amazing! Would recommend for any animal lover!
Such a great day out! Loads to do and the safari was amazing! Would recommend for any animal lover!
We had a wonderful day on a VIP Experience on the park with Rob as our guide for my nieces hen celebration. The total experience was unique and great value as you can share the cost with 8 people. Hands on with the animals fantastic .
Varied on different visits, good when quiet, terrible on school holidays
I didn t actually enter the park as prices are quite expensive. But you ll be able to see the animals as you re driving along
Good day out, good place to visit would have it over any zoo.
Spend your summer time with kid's....leave early...to spend more time inside...
Animals had lots of space to roam freely. Rhino's were majestic and stood right in the middle of the road when we came (we were nervous). Monkey enclosure great and they were on everyone's car (kids loved this).
Food and drinks reasonably priced and okay quality, cooked on site.
We took our own lunch and only ate snacks and coffee so you can make it cheaper.
Staff very friendly and the walk around zoo bit was great.
Can't beat the drive through safari though. Wet day but kids and adults loved it.
Not many things to do if it is so remember that.
This park is amazing, a lot of animals and it takes up the whole day. Always love going here and would highly recommend to anyone!
Full day out! You can go round the safari as many times as you like. Park by the monkeys and they might jump on your car. They will try the doors (open them), sit on your wing mirrors and play with anything on the car, we watched them rip off a bit of rubber matting from a car, cheeky monkeys.
Don't go on a bank holiday, queued a hour just to get in. As so many cars the safari drive was slow and rammed, couldn't see much at all. Time we got on foot nearly all talks were over and things closing
A beautiful zoo worth visiting animals around you and in your car you can take more than a tour, which offers elephants and birds and other free
The restaurant where not good
Come and enjoy
Good park was expensive for what it was but then I have gone in November so maybe some of the animals wernt out to see as much.
The bird show with the parrots was good and the rest of the park quite small.
Not very good in the winter but can imagine it is a really nice place to visit in the summer.
Had some food at the restaurant chicken strips were lovely but the chips were horrible
If you get a voucher and go on a nice day it's worth a visit but wouldn't go in the winter.
First experience going to a safari park. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will return sometime in the future.
A very good day out. Fun for all the family and children. A large variety of animals to see. Friendly helpful staff.
Not worth the money at all at the minute. Saw more empty cages and enclosures than we did animals. Wallabies didn't particularly look healthy. Toilet system works well and the food was good. The safari is a let down compared to longleat. Staff were lovely. Wouldn't bother again.
Greeat safari park! There are enough activities for all family members! The sectors are well organised and you can meet different animal species around the entire world. The animals are well looked after! It is a good choice to spend family time! Strongly recommended! I will definitely go back!
Fantastic day out , really good fun for all ages ,great facilities . Rather strange random short film following the Seal display !!
Green open space packed with activities for children and animals. Perfect day out for a family
Too many cars. Most foot attractions closed due to covid. Understandable but won't be visiting again
Absolutely amazing experience feeding the lion's for my wife's 40th birthday. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Park was clean and demonstrations were superb.
In these crazy times, I was really impressed with how the park dealt with making their site as Covid safe as possible. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
Wonderful little drive thru safari. I wish there was more enforcement to have people not come to a complete stop but definitely worth the visit.
Loved it! Visited myself with two young kids and we had a superb day! Went for all inclusive tickets which worked out quite reasonable
Great place family loved it just what was needed highly recommend
Really fun day out with loads of animals to see and the walking bit as well was great.
Not many animals. Few are kept just to count it as a safari park.
Great day out. The road safari is excellent, really worth a visit.
I am not a fan of any type of zoo's in general as I hate the idea of animals caged up. This was a good experience, and I get these animals have been in captivity for too long and would not survive in the wild now. The animals look well cared for, they look generally happy and healthy, was very surprised.
This is definitely the way forward for keeping animals, they deserve the freedom this place gives them.
Excellent day out with the family, all aspects of the zoo we're good, the walking route needs to improve, however it does look like it is currently undergoing changes. I loved the pen were the goats and sheep are, there was a lamb that was extremely cute, my twins absolutely loved the lamb.
Petting farms/Zoo's are extremely important especially for children.
The walk through zoo aspect should be more interactive, and engaging, and needs to be better route planned and sign posted, we walked in circles, and didn't get to see everything.
Having a picnic here is lovely, would definitely go back!
Highly recommend.
Great day out on a day that we wouldn't have expected
Very disappointed in the animal safari. One tiger on view, 3-4 lions and only a dozen monkeys. I haven't visited for about ten years, but there were many more on show previously. Where have all the lions gone? The elephant show was advertised for 1:30pm, so we missed that, and the opportunity to touch an elephant. The bird show displayed just two birds and the narrators were incoherent. In the avery there were only a handful of birds on display. I would think twice before visiting again.
Excellent place, loads to do and lots of wildlife. The drive through Safari is a must. Well recommended and will certainly return. Only down side is the restraints incredibly slow service and poor quality food, bring your own.
A good place to visit, I visited it with family, kids love it. there is lot of things to see and to do. Only just make sure when you go for visit it, the weather is good.
Very huge place, the car safari takes 1 hour but you can do it again as much as you want.
It was nice to see bears running and playing around the cars..
Very nice place to go in a sunny day
Pretty expensive for what you get. The drive around the animals is fairly short, and you'll have to do a few laps to stand a good chance of getting a decent view of the animals.
The play area was pretty good, with plenty of slides and climbing things, although the food in the adjoining cafe was terrible.
When they did finally get close, the animals were pretty good to look at, though. Lions, tigers, bears, and monkeys, all worth seeing.
Another great visit. And as always Woburn is a great place for all to enjoy. If you have kids there are plenty of site/playgrounds for them to enjoy.
All the other low reviews go on about how there are not many animals who clearly don't know much about conservation and how the animals have a better life with large amount of space and not filled to the brim like most of the zoo's and other safari parks. Defiantly worth the money.
I would reccomend that the park revisit how they teach the public to act around the animals in the open area as a car caused more stress to an already distressed Rhino which even had the parks ranger a little worried.
Brilliant for a day out. The drive is lovely although not everyone keeps moving and clogs up both lanes which can be frustrating at times. Walking safaris are great fun for all and there is plenty to see
Even during covid-19, felt safe with things put in place. There are one way systems and not all experiences are open but that is to be expected right now.
Great day out for the kids. Safari good as expected but the real surprise was the bouncy castle, the huge indoor soft play area, and seeing the penguins and sea lions.
I love this place. I has so many wonderful animals, plenty of little baby ones running around too. Although the ultimate experience is going to the elephant talk and getting to meet an elephant up close and if your lucky and the elephants want you may even get to touch one, but that is purely up to the elephant and if it is in the mood. If your near woburn and looking for a day out this is a must visit place
Was a very fun day. The car route for the safari was really good, saw lots of animals. The foot safari wasn't as good, there wasn't many maps or signs so it was confusing working out which way to go, also several places on the foot safari was closed. The farm animals on the foot safari was fun for the kids as it's interactive. Luckily we like walking so it was still good to wander around and see what we could find. By the car park there is a large green with lots of picnic tables, great spot to have a picnic before the foot safari. The lake with pedal boats was also fun. Toilets were very clean and could see regular cleaning taking place.
Safari drive was fabulous ...lots of animals outside ...really enjoyed it plus you can go round as many times as you want would recommend.....5 ++++
A really poor experience, with masses of cars, very few animals (all in docile 'sleeping' states).
To make it worse, the public centre - where food etc could be bought - was like the cheap & tacky, dodgy arcade centres in Blackpool. YUK
Great fun for all the family but too busy on a bank holiday
well i have actually lived with real famle lion
Boringggggg ! you only get to sit down and watch the anmails
it's not worth the money you pay. monkey climbing the cars is very cool though.
Very nice place for family timeout more enjoyable during warm time but still nice and giving lots of fun during cold time of the year .
This is a great experience if you haven't done it before. The small monkeys will pull and bite your aerials so it's better to take them off before you head in here. You have to be lucky to see some of the animals close up as they always seem to hide. Overall this can be an exciting trip for everyone.
An amazing experience, whether you are going with your kids or just going with anyone! Made me smile the moment I saw the animals. Variety of animals and just a good day out.
Safari was great but the walkabout part is quite small and a lot of areas shut due to covid
A great value day out for young kids and old. Drive the safari as many times as you like, just in case you missed a sight the first time.
Walking safari great for younger kids and you have to make time for the elephant talk!!
A wide variety of animals in an enjoyable way family friendly
Amazing ! When we was in the monkey area it was HILARIOUS the monkeys where everywhere! Amazing park, good food, one down side though which was the wasps near the Slushie stand but the catchers seemed to be working would recommend!
quite expensive but overall experience was very lovely
Safari is great although the monkies do scratch your car! Inside Woburn is really just for younger kids though.
Nice place for a day out with kids. Children loved it
A really good family day out. Safari was enjoyable and lots more to do! Well with a visit
We went on Easter Monday and it was crazy, the queue to visit the animals was overwhelming. They have a children's playground which is brand new and interesting, also they are changing the farm area so there where not a lot of animals. The food is good, the people are friendly, the shows are really nice. The Swan Lake is a nice adventure just that they have a lot of water where you need to peddle and its easy to ge wet.
It is a very good family day out.
Queues, queues and more queues. No one way systems put in place in outside areas. Too many people unaware that we are in a pandemic. Covid what Covid. Half the Animals had been moved and unavailable. We arrived at 10.30am and left at More
It is really amazing experience. Not only for adults but kids in every age. Everyone will find something for yourself
Fun spot, plenty of things they could do to upgrade as been the same for many years
Lazy Animals. looks like they didn't want to be there. I didn't have the entertainment from these monkeys. They were all half asleep.
Nice drive then walk safari Park. Has many other activities such as high ropes and peddle boats
Really enjoyed coming here. We managed to get round twice and loved the exciting range of animals- didn't realise there was something like this in England. The walk round bit is also really good with some interesting talks and animal encounters. Highlights were touching an elephant, having a monkey ride on the car and being 2 metres from a huge bear!!
Worst place I have ever been too and will never be returning. Spent an hour queuing just to get in and spent the whole park drive in more queues, they couldn't have fitted more people in if they tried it was completely gridlocked. Hardly any animals, stinking toilets and half hour queues just for an ice-cream. Not worth the cost.
Probably because of the weather being so nice but just too many people and not corralled well enough, took over an hour of queuing to get in, then everyone just hogged both lanes to stop at the various animals with no thoughts for anyone else. And the map is utterly useless. Saved from 1* by the monkeys section, honestly the best fun of the entire day.
It's quite a nice place, my baby loves it. I definitely recommend to buy annual pass so you can go anytime you want
We go sometimes just for the road safari and the soft area
Went there on a hot Arpil weekend this year for the first time. It was all fun and games until you realise how small the safari park is. We drove in our car and I guess everyone else had the same idea because there was a mini traffic jam looping across the park which made getting around difficult but it also highlighted the small space the animals are kept captive. For example the tigers, bear and lions were all in one area seperated by different gates. On top of that, if that many people were driving their cars in just one day, then how much air pollution do these poor animals have to put up with throughout the year? I felt really guilty and ashamed driving around, I didnt expect the conditions to be that bad and its my fault for not doing any research. No point in spending money to help animal cruelty in the name of short term entertainment. Maybe if it was a safari park of decent size with healthy looking animals I could give it a good review. The one star is for the good food and ice cream and swan ride in the lake.
This is a great safari park with a lot of animals and wild animals including bears lions tigers and monkeys plus giraffes zebras and hippos and penguins etc there is also a farm area and there is an indoor soft play area for kids and they also have some shows including sea lion show making it a extraordinary experience
Excellent place to visit enjoyed our day there would highly recommend
We had a such a great day here despite much of the park being closed and social distancing rules in place. The Safari itself was of course the highlight. We got so close to almost everything including the Black bear and lions! The Monkeys were a highlight as expected, climbing all over our vehicle. The Australian walkthrough safari was also great as we got up close and personal to many animals. Some enclosures were closed but this did not spoil our day and we will definitely return as the entry price is so reasonable.
It's a nice park lots of type of animals also has bears has very type of participating in stuff in the park
took my son last month for his birthday loved it nice staff but an amazing experience seeing the lions and monkeys nice day out especially for kids
Expensive but lots of space for the animals. Loads of giraffes! Central eatery area a bit tired. The walking safari's are a great idea but need a little more variety.
Best Safari Park I have Visited brilliant place to visit. Delight to drive around witnessing these majestic animals roaming about freely and the sea lion show was superb. first time i seen white tiger. Highly recommend for anyone of any age.
Excellent day out, plenty for the whole family to do but as others have said quite expensive. it is usually possible to get a good view of the animals and the facilities and food are satisfactory. Sad to see the sealion show is now charged for however.
Amazing safari drive! That was actually really cool. Tigers and bears passing you by, iv never been so close to animals of this type. Monkeys jumping on your car. Alot to see. Litreally all animals in each pen and area are in full view. Only down side was how annoying people are in front and behind you. Like everyone will stop to take pictures thats fair enough, but cars in front will block you and obstruct your views if animal's come close. And cars behind you will always attempt to cut you up or block the road when your in process of taking pictures and videos. So be warned. Only other downside was the walking tour areas being limited but their is enough to see. And the shows are pretty fun
