Appalling, terrible and absolutely zilch value for money! Had heard a lot about Woburn Safari and decided to experience it. Very soon upon reaching we realised that this place has robbed the ticket money from you by showing one rhino, 4 lazy lionesses, two elephants and five meerkats who are sitting somewhere very far under a tree. Giraffes are easily spotted as they are tall. Although there were signs, cages or enclosures the animals inside were missing, Timber wolves, birds, tigers, a newly added Lion (supposed to be a top attraction) were some of the missing ones. Reptile and insect area was for a 4 year old with a very few to be seen. Of course, the largest collection of animals was only in the souvenir shop. An ideal example of money down the drain . The current one day ticket price should have been for an annual pass or ticket. Don t get your expectations high, just go for a drive through large area with trees and tall grasses, so called Woburn Safari .

The park is beautiful but very expensive for what is there, and I have to mention that the monkeys are very naughty for my car destroyed, my whole scratch and my broken and the wiper on the back, so I paid a lot of money to choose with the destroyed car. You should take an attitude regarding monkeys .....

It is a big park and all animal areas are nicely maintained. All animals looked in good shape except for the birds. They are confined to small box which is not good imo.

Children play area is crowded, which is understandable but no staff is available to look after it. My 2yr old couldn't enjoy much and there were older kids in her play area throwing plastic balls at each other. Some parents lack of sense doesn't help, all kids were inside play area without shoes but one guy just came write in along with his crawling baby. He left the baby under supervision of his older kid and got busy with his mobile. There were older kids running around very fast, they could have easily stepped on him. He should be thankful to god that nothing bad happened.

They should have someone to restrict play time to manage the crowd. There are high chances of kids getting hurt badly. Management note says the play area is unsupervised but that doesn't shift responsibility on public as we don't have much say on the rules that should be followed. It is a disaster waiting to happen for Woburn management unless they change things.

Great day out for the family, especially during these times.
On a cool day in October, the animals were showing very well and it was great to see everything.
Everything felt very safe and secure. Would advise seeing the Sea Lion show.
Staff were friendly and courteous.

On the 19th of September 2020 me and my 2 friends visited Woburn Safari Park and we experienced very rude, unacceptable attitude from 2 staff members! I actually hoped to bring my family the following weekend to visit but the customer service we received that day was unbelievably shocking. The AC in our car was faulty and it was a really hot day so we decided to slightly open our windows. During the section where we saw 2 tigers, Me and a friend of mine took our phones out to get good pictures of the tigers while we were safely seated in our car. The tigers were really far away and they weren't even facing our direction so there was no chance that the tigers would come towards us. A staff member suddenly started shouting at us on a bull horn really loud and another staff member came to our door and started getting rude to us for having our windows slightly open. Firstly there is a certain way to address people, especially paying visitors when they have spent money to enjoy a lovely day out! Its common sense! Secondly, she also proposed a threat telling us that that if we don't close our windows, we will be escorted out of the park with no refund! She didn't even give us a chance to speak and just walked off! We are grown mature adults! NOT CHILDREN! If I knew their name, it would've been stated in this review.

Sometimes, a good polite customer service can change the outlook on the whole experience and personally that day was one of the worst experiences of my life. It was totally unexpected and it truly ruined my mood the entire day.

This is ok for a visit for half a day. I wouldn't spend a whole day here. Safari Drive through can be good just doesn't seem to be alot to encourage the animals.

The Otter display was good feeding them. The keeper was showing a genuine interest in people and was knowledgeable.

The food is ok not to badly priced for the portions they give. It was tasty and does fill you up.

There is not a good WiFi connection just drops out constantly and the phone signal is pretty bad. Depends on service provider. So once your in the foot walking area it can be terrible. You can't get signal at all.

They also isn't a cash machine either you have to spend 10 to get cash back from the shop.

You can feed the birds nectar for a pound so that's why you will need the money.

There needs to be a bit of improvement with regards entertainment and other activities in the park. Other things such as reuseablee cups where you pay bit extra and get a discount on hot drinks.

The place is beautiful, lots of animals to see but the sad thing is that they all look skinny and hungry, especially the elephants. I don't know how they feed them or how much they feed them, but from how they looked like to me, the Safari only gets 2 stars for that. It's sad..

Overall an amazing experience. Plenty of space for animals. We'll organized. Good directions on the website as well as the signs everywhere. Divided into different areas based on where the animals come from and the General layout of the enclosure. Really busy on bank Holidays and whenever there is an offer online. More animals could have been fitted in though and long waiting time on train rides. Definitely worth the money and a highly recommended day out for families. Look out for offers online and go as early as possible.

Great day out and fun for all the family. Not the cheapest place in the world but in my opinion worth it because you can do the road safari as much as you like, we went when we first arrived and last thing and were glad we did as the animals were a bit more lively second time round and we even got some monkeys on the car which the kids loved. Plenty to do on the foot safari too and theres a pretty big indoor soft play for the kids to let off steam or if it rains abit, although i would always try to choose a dry day.

Went today with my children, two of which have disabilities and on arrival we shown them paperwork and got a special rate costing us half the price. Had a fantastic day out and will be going back again soon.

We visited for a day trip in August 2014 and really enjoyed it. The weather was a little unpredictable, and I don't know if that put people off, but it wasn't too busy when we arrived just after the park opened. There was no queue to get in and we passed through the first part of the park getting a really good look at the an ostrich and the rhinos, as well as some goat/cow things with horns and buffalo. The tigers, bears and lions were a little disappointing as they'd set up as far from cars as the enclosures allowed, but the giraffe field and monkey enclosure were good. A money rode on the windscreen of our car, which the kids loved. Actually, so did I :)

I'd heartily recommend WSP for a really good family day out.

Excellent drive through Safari, however the rest of the park is mediocre at best. Very hilly and not good for a wheelchair despite being disabled friendly . Worth going for the drive through Safari which you can do more than once.

Not recommended at all if you like to see lion, tiger or bear. It was a jam traffic for watch nothing..

Just 1 bear, 1 tiger and few lions all watched from a long long distance..

I am distressed that some of the animals escape and end up on the A5.
On Sunday a doe was on the verge near Hockliffe,.and I have seen a dead Deer lay by the roadside which I had to move out of the way of the cars.
It is distressing for the drivers and the animals . I tried to contact the park but it was closed so I had to phone the police ,who were brilliant.

Great Safari Park. Enclosures and habitats are so well thought out. Spent an entire day here.
The cafe was serving regular food such as chips and jacket potatoes. Think I would use it only to purchase hot or cold drinks and make my own picnic. Feeding birds nectar was a treat at 50p

Visited for the VIP tiger experience, the guide was friendly, enthusiastic and gave us lots of interesting facts. Got up close with the big cats as well as stopping by the rhinos and bears. Would definitely recommend this, not rushed and throughly enjoyable. The couple of extra trips around the part didn't disappoint either, lovely day out.

Enjoyed this! The key to getting the monkeys to jump on your partner's car is to make eye contact with them. If you've got a wangy car aerial then you've a 50/50 chance of issues. Perfect.

We went there in September. The animals have plenty of space. The tiger and also the bears always looked up as we passed by - perhaps this was related to our interesting car... So we made some really great shots. I enjoyed the talk about and with the elephants. Now I'm an elephant ambassador :-)

My experience was really great in the park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Although my embarrassing story was, when I drop my keys in the Swan Lake. Staff was so helpful and friendly. The lake was a little deep and not clear so they couldn t find it but really thanks to them for trying to find it. I called for breakdown service and had to wait for few hours. I may not know them personally but thanks to them for helping us out by letting us stay until the recovery arrive. Thank you very much as well as for the wonderful safari park. I would definitely recommend to my friends to visit.

poorly organised, with very few animals compared what we can see in westmidlands safari and Knowsley safari. Comparing to these safari park, woburn is not worth visiting.
Only outstanding features is good number of giraffes.
Carnivorous area was extremely bad design and haven't got enough animals there.
Bear was kept in very away place, any only watch with help of binoculars. No tiger were noted. Camel were kept at far away distance.

No maps were provided and no mobile coverage throughout the safari.
Hence we were left to travel without any guidance.

Very high price with low level of service.

It's a drive around experience where the animals are roaming free but the only animal close up was the monkeys, they get on top of your cars. So if you like your car paint work take your neighbor's car lol. Good experience for kids and they will love it but make sure your kid is over 1 meter tall as the swan boat dont allownot all animals come close to the car and you dont see all animals. I see people taking pictures in the front of the train in the drivers seat so I wanted one with my son only because my boy said but the staff said no not allowed. I was surprised.

Long time since I ve been.
Saw 1 bear
1 tiger
Couple of lions
2 rhino
Seem sparse on animals.
Most stuff shut Eg lemur walk etc
Not impressed for the 23.00 each
Think whipsnade would have been better. This used to be a good day out now just disappointing.
Waste of money.

I took my nieces, mother and her friend who was here on holiday in 2012 and 2014, and they were fascinated to see some of these animals so close up, it really was a great day out , would recommend it.

Ideal for saua if you like massage and steam rooms and sauna rooms and swimming pool. With over 20 steams rooms....when you have had enough you can try the sauna rooms...and when you had enough of the steam and sauna then there are plenty of shower rooms situated outside seam. And sauna rooms.to call yourself down. A swimming pool with bubbles is also located in the sauna area. Also you can find water beds upstairs to relax after a long day

A nice little safari park. I have do admit I did think there would be more areas to drive around. I went around a couple of times. Earlier on the visit it was bumper to bumper and not so great going around. However in the last few hours of the day it was a much better experience driving around. Worth a visit but in all honesty it has made me want to go to a larger park next time

Absolutely awful experience. Paid 80 to sit in a queue of traffic after driving from Leicester. Once your in you cant get out. My daughter was ill in the car but we were stuck in the traffic jam..worse place ive ever been..seen about 2 monkeys though!

Fantastic family day out. We were impressed by how much open space there is for the animals. The elephant encounter was an amazing experience for all the family. There is a huge range of animals to see. We really enjoyed our day & will go back again soon.

Absolutely amazing place. You get to be so close to the animals =-) funniest park is when you get to the monkeys and they try to steal your windscreen wipers. Fantastic day out for the family and you can go around as many times as you like. Not overpriced either.

The drive around safari whilst busy was kept moving. Plenty of animals to keep the young ones entertained. Not up to full capacity yet In terms of walk around stuff and the full entertainment. Social distancing in place in main areas. Doing the best they can through these hard times. Definitely worth a day out and supporting.

A really fantastic place you can see wild animals that are not limited by a small range. A very large area you need to book yourself the best all day to calmly see everything, it's a pity to hurry. Small jumping on the cars is the norm of the thing. And the marching bear in the middle of the road is not strange either. A place for small and large.

Really enjoyed seeing all the wild animals, especially the baby monkeys and giraffes. The walking safari was very good and we enjoyed getting close to the goats. The sea lions were great fun too!

Very cool, attractive and amazing place. Emotions guaranteed. Animals in the wild and people in closed cars. Many of these animal species cannot be seen otherwise than in closed enclosures. It's different here. They are at liberty. Slowly running monkeys, lions, tigers or giraffes in real surroundings is an unusual sight. I personally recommend.

Worst place to spend your time!!!

Worst place to spend your time!!!
Unless you like being stuck behind 1000 cars.
Just a few animals that you can actually see and a lot more expensive than other better places!!!

This is a fantastic place to visit as a family. There's enough to see and do to keep you busy and entertained for the whole day. First there's the road safari where you take your car through various enclosures. You'll get to see everything from lions through to giraffes and even monkeys! Then you can see some of the smaller animals on foot. There's a train ride around the park. And if you get bored with all that there's an indoor play area. Great on a summers day as you can take a picnic. Definitely worth it!

Had a fantastic day out. Enjoyed seeing all the animals. Loved the monkeys on the car. The walkabout area was good and we also enjoyed the swan boats which were free. Various demonstrations were taking place although we only had time to see the sealion show which was good. Our favourite part of the day was Rainbow Landings and feeding the lorikeets.

A complete waste of a day. After sitting in a queue for 40 mins to pay a very high price to get in we then sat in what felt like a traffic jam around the park hoping to see some animals. When you did eventually see some you got shouted at by a ranger to move faster so hardly time to get photo! Never set eyes on a tiger or wolf, we did see a bear in the distance.
The walking park is badly sign posted and the queues a very long for everything. Very badly organised! Never to return!!
