huge area a lot of animals. a nice place to see with children and family.
Lovely small zoo. Soft play is nice if need an indoor break. Train ride is a little pointless as doesnt go past many animals (no longer stops near deer). Covered picnic spot when not being used by school groups is great. Bouncy castles for under 5 nice touch. Lovely keepers esp the tropical birds show and animal handling in reptile room who happily got extra cockroaches out to hold for my bug mad little one. However their special events (e.g. paw patrol charachters) frustrating to book as annual pass holder. Could do with a permanent spotting trail of some sort for kids/ colouring sheets a little extra so that those on annual pass with return visits have something to extend the stay a bit.
1st Safari park I've ever visited, kids really enjoyed it. However it is tiny and do not expect anything grande.
I would totally recommend this place a fantastic day out with family and a friend..so much space for the animals and a lot of up close encounters with the animals.. The elephant experience totally epic if I could give this place 10 stars I would.. Totally worth the money.
Amazing Safari!
I enjoyed it very much with my family.
We went to the large area which was through cars only without walking.
The price was little expensive.
Spent there more than one hour by watching the animals and stopping near it whenever we like.
I like the monkeys which were hundreds of them and they were playing together.
There is also a lot of Giraffes, lions, bears, deers, and others.
The park need more types of animals with some points to stop and allow us to go out.
Use your tesco vouchers great place will visit again
over priced tickets and food, unable.to manage safari drive through efficiently. people continually stopping and opening windows. foot safari was terrible would see more at a local farm for a third of the price, food was awful, travelled 2 hours to be completely disappointed.
Excellent place the staff are great and the animals are even greater! This beautiful tiger came right up to our car, scary but so fantastic! Beware of the monkeys they will climb all over your car and make it dirty lol. Great day out and you can covert Clubcard points to vouchers too so have a look at that before booking.
The park was busy given the situation, lots of cars and it felt a bit like you were stuck in a traffic jam with inconsiderate, selfish people stopping for long periods. The walking Safari was just manageable, however I did feel uncomfortable at times with the number of people not keeping their distance.
Very pleasant but earlier on most of the animals seemed to be asleep
One of the best safari parks I have been too. I would say better than Longleat. We had a great time viewing all the animals including 2 monkey's jumping on my car. The lion's also got really close to us. Nicely laid out and when we got into the walking part this was also really well laid out. Viewed the elephants being fed and the sea lion show, also watched a show about parrots.
Once we had done the main parts we got back in the car and decided to go round the driving safari again which was quieter this time and could get even more different views. Would definitely recommend going.
Traveled from Birmingham with my family to see santa and the safari which were fantastic, we decorated cookies and decorated Christmas cards had drinks and cakes be for seeing Santa
Animals are well looked after. Shame some families were feeding the meerkats crisps and nothing was done about it.
Also had a sandwich from the lunch hall and now suffering with food poisoning.
Other then that good day out
We been there yesterday .watching Animals by a car is ok but not a much animals are there. But on the foot safari is not good because there are so many wasps and bees and everyone feeing so uncomfortable children scared and screaming.bees bites so many children and sting my daughter and me as well .i am not recommended anyone to vist there because its wasted of money and time because of bees.My children don t want to stay there any more thats by we finish our day trip in a 2hours and come back
There seems to be a shortage of animals in the main park. Very disappointing. A handful of lions, some monkeys, a few giraffes etc. When you finish driving round and get to the shopping area there is a reasonable restaurant and some really good animal areas. Good for kids but expensive for what you get.
Good day out with family and friends. On the day we went it was really busy but once you get going it seems all fine. Managed to see almost all animals apart from sealions and possibly few others but all in all it was well managed during covid crisis and we enjoyed our day out. Park was well maintained and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Monkey part is bit of a disappointment as you can hardly see any around. Comparing to Whipsnade Zoo this felt well below expectations. There were lots of cars queueing to see handful of monkeys. Considering this should be one of the main attractions, it was a let down.
Amazing place went 3 times this summer great day out with kids
Will go again bit pricey buy it is worth it. Go as as early as possible else long ques.
Great safari, lots of animals and great paddocks. Today we have a bear and lions cunning in front of the car, so we will definitely remember that day. The only bad thing is that the tiger walked back and forth like he was nervous. Overall it's great and you can spend a nice day without any additional costs. You only have to pay for entry and then most attractions are for free.
Loved this place. Not far from London and a must visit in summers with or without children, if you love animals.
Had a VIP giraffe experience on 24/6/18 at 1.45 had the most amazing time with the rest of the day at the park included in the experience. Our guide Harvey was brilliant and very knowledgable.would recommend him and the experience.A big thankyou Woburn.
it had wild animals in it and good play area and my favourite part was the monkey section and in the monkey section once there was a van behind us and 2 monkeys jumped on top
Amazing, amazing, amazing such a cool place :-D friendly staff and happy animals.
We took my 4 year old boy for his birthday & had a really lovely day. We drove around the safari & the animals all looked happy & healthy. We felt safe all the way round. The out of car part was lovely. We went on the swan boat ride & train More
Outstanding day out (we used Tesco vouchers to get in even cheaper, but still definitely worth full price for). Lots of space for the animals which was great to see. The highlights were the Lemur walkthrough; you walk on a raised walkway through the Lemur enclosure, and they will randomly appear walking along the handrail, or floor, and stroll right by you. A couple of the keepers were in the enclosure as well and were friendly and helpful, giving us pointers on what to see.
We also went on a VIP tour to see the lions and tigers in the carnivore area. We got up real close in a 4x4 to see the lionesses all sprawled out in the sun following their dinner. We also saw the, slightly bonkers, father tiger, chasing a butterfly and leaping into a bush. Our driver, Becky, was most helpful, giving us little potted histories of the animals as we saw them.
Definitely 5 star.
Loved this day out. Was amazing. We booked go ape at first which was brilliant and the zoo was amazing. And the monkeys didnt break my car which was a bonus. Animals seemed happy and well fed. Need a least 2 days here as the park is so big we didnt see everything in one day. Staff were great and helpful and everywhere was clean and tidy. We WILL be going again.
This is a fantastic Park if you want to spend entire day with your Kids. Road safari is also good. Variety of animals from all continent. There is a Lake inside Park and you can enjoy boating there.
A special place! It took me half a day to cross the whole park! the lion was kept in a cage! The monkeys climbed on the cars! It was a beautiful day!
After going as a child I really looked forward to taking my husband to the safari park. I have freak memories of this place. Sadly we saw one lion and a few monkeys in the actual safari and nothing else. Lots of work was being done in all areas of the park with things closed. It would have been nice to have had a warning on the website.
Rubbish Rubbish all i can say, its like driving in a farm to see cattles, I mean if you want to go there to see goats then they have few apart from that hardly any animals they have, one tiger, one bear and four or five monkeys which are imposible to see as they keep hiding in the big bush... the place is a big waste place with no animals, the play area is absolutly terrible as my kids were very upset because hardly any thing there to play. the staffs keep giving wrong info when you ask them for info.... Very dissapointed for wasting my hard earned money on nothing, my kids had a terrible time
I went with the family. We saw 1 far away tiger 1 wolf we were just driving through the park were we hardly saw anything. The kids were very disappointed. For the amount of money we paid for a family of 5 it wasn't worth it at all.
Brilliant day out. The shows were entertaining and educational. Kids play area is great. The lemurs area was great fun.
Love driving through and great animals, lions, deer, monkeys etc.
I went with my family. It was quite fun. There was way too much traffic in the safari and not enough animals. Some animals were very active but most weren't. Definitely not worth the price. The foot safari was okay. Little kids would enjoy it alot but for teenagers like myself, you wouldn't. I wouldn't recommend it and I think you should go to London zoo instead :) IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE AND ISN'T WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!
There was not alot of animals there.we seen no bears just signs.they want 66 pounds to show us nothing.the people working there just want money and also everything was closed
There is no toilet in working at the Safari entrance, we have been driving for hours to get to the park. The toilet was closed due to Covid and clearly getting extra staff to clean the toilet will not cost too much. We found the toilet around an hour later after getting into the park at the leisure area. The traffic in the park was horrible and car blocked everywhere to move forward. There is clearly a lack of organisation and management by the park, they could estimate the customers going into the park.
In the leisure area, I don't see people are following social distancing rules while the staff are not putting their masks on. I lost my confidence in the park and decided to jump back to the car. It is a shame that this park has some good infrastructure and lovely animals, however the whole park organisation is poor and does not adapt with the new normal.
A very good safari park. Lots of animals to see. The actual zoo offers a lot of activities and animal encounters.
Nice staff - Felt like it would have been better with more animals - the swan boat ride was great and the Parrot show was good too
The place is spread across acres filled with wildlife animals to be seen. The plus point is that one can take thier car which makes it easy for families with small kids or woh senior citizens. The animals are up close and the giraffes, elephants in their families are a treat. Kids will love the place and good outing in summers
Great day out with the family loads to see and do, but it is a expensive day out, entry food etc
Bit pricey but Amazing Trip. already booked a second visit
Useful tips and advantages..travelling with kids...
Train ride is a must..to the alpaca station..where you can hand feed them...take some change to buy the feeds..50p a cup
At the monkey section be sure to park your car and wait for the chimps to climb on board...we had 5 on at one point....but if you care about your car then suggest you drive off if they jump on...in case of any scratches.
Other boat rides available but we had no time.
Even though it was a wintery cold wet day we all had a great time
Where to begin I purchased two adult tickets which come to just under 50 pound which I thought ok that's a fair price!! Wrong when we got to the gates to show our tickets there was so many cars I'm unsure why they have time slots because it was rammed bumper to bumper slowly driving around there was hardly any animals when we entered the tigers pen I was so excited to see them but there was one tiger!!! And he was caged!!! Moving along couldnt see no other animals it was just woodland!!! Litreally see few lionesses which was sleeping the lion was caged and the Cubs couldnt be see n either!!! Coming out of the pens the cars was bumper to bumper so many people coming and going cars driving up the wrong way not one keeper said anything!!! The monkeys pen!!! Well what can I say keep your windows shut ok but then the women sitting I'm the jeep car that works there shouting over her speak which cant hear a thing of what she is saying unless you open your window which it says to keep closed! Ridiculous telling people to not stop or slow down keep moving well if someone is paying the price you want to charge and haven't been able to see hardly any animals they are going to want to slow down as see the monkeys!! Absolutely disgusting!! To then get out on foot!! People everywhere so busy hardly any animals out!!! farm animals ok what 6 goats I wouldn't say a farm with just few goat forgodness sake!! You would see more animals at a little farm or mead open farm maybe zoo down the road same price I think its absolutely disgusting charging people full price when there is hardly any animals!!! Food 6 pound for a hot dog like it's not bad enough your charging the price your charging for the tickets your charging 6 pound of a hot dog that's day light robbery!!! I would never return here absolutely rubbish place!!! Very disappointing left not long after the reason it takes so long to get around not because there is loads of animals its because there is so many cars your stop start stop start stop start it's not enjoyable either having to make sure your not getting hit by other cars because it's so rammed and with stop starting I ended the day with a sore leg from my clutch and 50 quid down
Very disappointed with Woburn. Visit every year and, whilst the road safari is still good, the park is starting to look shabby. Lots of areas were closed off, animals in short supply, generally not as vibrant as it used to be. Wouldn't pay full price to visit, will struggle to be enthused about visiting again.
Somewhat frustrating place. Drive through Safari was pretty good, if busy and full of people overtaking. Quite why you'd want to rush through, but each to their own. The foot Safari is awful. Small and poorly signed. Big criticism would be the disabled access. Uneven and very steep paths. To quote a wheelchair user "How can they say that this is accessible?! It's awful!"
First visit and we as a family thoroughly enjoyed although it started pouring after our first round in the animal kingdom. However, this meant we got to see animals reaction and behaviour on dry land and when it started raining.
We had such a fantastic time. It was a full day of seeing animals by driving through and the animals to see at the walk through safari were also a sight. So many animals to see with feeding and presentation sessions on so many animals. Lions, tigers, bears, wolves, elephants (we got to touch one), sea lions, goats, penguins, giraffes, monkeys, rhinos, zebras, the list goes on and on. You can take food along for a picnic and there are lots of pictures to be taken. Kids got to feed the lorikeets (parrot looking birds). It was a good day. Book family tickets online for a discount. Get there early, you won't have to walk through so many people or queue for most things. You'll have more time to drive through as fewer vehicles around. By the time we were leaving in the afternoon, it was looking a bit packed.
Good day out for kids. While a few enclosures on the foot safari are closed, the actual road safari makes up for it. Loved the monkey and giraffe enclosures.
Fantastic day out definitely will be back , my advice take a picnic , there is a lot of people down side ,and not enough organisation , massive up side seeing my kids faces when the animals come close to the car was amazing
The road safari is amazing...the foot safari was smaller than expecting but there are some good shows :)
Not as big as I remembered it, but still an enjoyable day. The elephant meet and greet was wonderful and the baby giraffes were so funny, dragging big branches from off the grass onto the road forcing car drivers to go off road
Just few animals, nothing to see really... I can't really recommend this place.
Very nice Safari to visit with young kids.
there is a nearby small souvenir shops , restaurants and play ground.
Lovely day out recommend to buy a all exclusive ticket you get a all day pass bottle of water as u enter also a guide and u get to go to the seal lion show and food and drink was included at a good price
Lovely safari Park. Myself, wife and son enjoyed ourselves muchly.
We had an amazing day. The giraffe experience was everything we hoped it would be. Jenny was a brilliant host and very informative
Her love for the animals was very evident. Many thanks to Kirsten for arranging our day. I would definitely recommend Woburn as a great place for a day out
Don't go if you value your money.
We couldn't see any animals at the safari part and stuff are not nice at all.
Visited Safari Park a few months back and really enjoyed ourselves. Driving through and seeing some animals quite close was quite surreal, we had monkeys jumping on our car and a giraffe walking straight past us at arms length! After the drive through, there is another section to explore by foot, here you have a great selection of animals, a boat ride and some places to eat. A full day of fun indeed!
A brilliant day or few hours out for old and young whatever the weather.
Lovely day out with the grandchildren. Though I think they liked staying in a hotel with a pool and free wifi
Really nice place, loved the seeing all animals. Great day out for family. Good for all ages.
All I can say is WOW an amazing place come here every year with out fail we love it and so do the kids so much to do and see love seeing the animals roam free the walkabout is brilliant and you can get hands on with some of the animals this place is a must have to go to and recommend to everyone to go food drink about pricey but it all adds to a fabulous day out
Sorry, but very poor collection of animals. No allowed to feed.
This is a fantastic safari park, loads of animals in big wide open spaces. It was busy however this did not distract on an enjoyable day.Staff were friendly and helpful especially when explaining about the penguin move to a refurbished enclosure. Some people did struggle with the concept of social distancing and the need to shut one gate before opening the next gate in the farmyard area.Parking was well organised with staff directing the traffic. As a family we have been a few times and the park never disappoints.
Saw couple dogs. Was alright. Some monkey stole me sandwich and I got well pissed off yeah. So I gone out my car and chased it but one of his mates came up to me with one of those oi what you want mate faces so I had to proper peg it back to me motor.
Top laugh fun for the family. Would have rather went pizza hut
Great off peak if you want to avoid the hordes of children. Shame some of the animal enclosures are not available for access to public. Miss the Squirrel Monkey enclosure and Lemurs. Otherwise good value for money.
