We were very impressed with the service and the meal. The one way system worked very well and the food we had was very good. My sirloin steak was very well seasoned but perhaps a bit chewy but the overall taste was good. The service was very friendly and made the whole experience very enjoyable, and in line with our previous meal which was also excellent.

So, overall, a very good experience and we recommend to anyone staying in Norfolk. Hope to be back soon.

Superb food in lovely settings. Even with covid they have a big marquee at the back which has been decorated very nicely inside and not just a tent with some tables and chairs. Staff were very friendly. Best meal out this year, yes there haven't been many but it was excellent.

Definitely will come again.

Truly exceptional. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and made great suggestions from the menu. The venue was beautiful with stunning art work. Brilliant free bar snacks and the menu itself was exquisite. Very very very highly recommended. Definitely book of you want to eat as demand is high.

We visited when we were on holiday with our dog. I have the places which are dog friendly in a folder so we can always manage to find somewhere to eat. A fine dining place, which was very welcoming. Though a bit more expensive than we would normally pay we both enjoyed the food. My husband had the battered fish which he was very pleased with, I had chicken Caesar which was also delicious. Being a fine dining experience we were also happy to be able to sit where we wanted. We would certainly visit again if we are in the area.

Good fish and chips, can get busy and wait times can be over 1 hour...for fish and chips, that's way too long.

And yes, we did wait an hour and we were served after the table of 4 next to us, who ordered ~10-15 minutes after us.

A lovely modern rustic pub serving locally sourced food at reasonable prices.Friendly staff and the Brancaster mussels were delicious. The burgers were homemade and was succulent with morish chips.
We were a little muddy after a seal trip and had two dogs with us but are allowed to be seated at the bar tables.l recomnend to book the table online as the place was very busy lunchtime.Would come again.

Great food, but let down by the service. It took a while for someone to take a drinks order, and it was 10-15 minutes before our drinks (a bottle of wine and two pints of beer) were brought to us. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to take our food order, we had to ask and it was still another 5 minutes before someone came to take the order. The food came relatively quickly, and it was delicious, but the service was incredibly slow throughout. The staff were very friendly, there were plenty of staff on hand, and as we were seated at 8:30pm, the restaurant was far from full, so it was a little odd that service suffered so much. When we arrived, the bar was completely covered with empty glasses - there must have been 50 or more, so it was impossible to order a drink at the bar. The food was delicious, and portion sizes were just right, plus the set menu was good value, but it just got a little frustrating with how long we were having to wait.

Stopped for lunch passing by and saw some good reviews. First impressions a bit business like almost brusque. But we ordered lunch, fish and chips for my partner Welsh rarebit for me. Nipped to the ladies but the floor was wet and a mop across the door. Toilet base was wobbly! Anyway the food was just ok and expensive. Certainly not proper Welsh rarebit either. Nice gardens but that's all.

Delicious food, friendly staff and dog friendly which was perfect for us. If you prefer to be away from dogs then they have a conservantry where they don't allow dogs. Will definately be back as the food was lovely!

45 minutes late being seating, lots of meals unavailable, the yorkshire puddings were dreadful and the soft drinks went off. Appreciate the staff tried hard to do their best it difficult circumstances but it wasn't a great experience.

Fantastic pub food, well worth a stop if in the area, not the cheapest pub meal you ll ever have but one of the best, the food certainly lives up to the price tag!
The ribs I could have eaten with a spoon they were so tender.

Just returned from a 3pm sunday lunch at, The Wiverton Bell a regular venue for us which has never failed to please in the past. We ordered roast pork for me which was 50% fat and a woefully inadequate portion on muscles for my wife. The More

One of the best restaurants for miles around in my opinion. We ate in the luxury marquee at the back. Food was excellent. Wine was excellent. Staff were excellent. COVID safety measures appeared excellent too (which was extremely important to us as had been shielding) Really looking forward to going back when we can.

Stopped here out of the blue for a drink. Very friendly staff and were knowledgeable about the drinks they offered. My dad asked whats the "hoppiest" beer they had and was very happy with their suggestion.

Very nice location and great if you want to be nosey at the cars going past. Probably a nice place to go for a walk as well.

Parking is in the village car park opposite the pub itself.

Friendly staff and excellent food. Quick service even when reasonably busy and a lovely atmosphere that is both pub like and restaurant like. Smart-Casual dresswear. I personally recommend the steak burger.

Excellent pub food, always crowded, so make sure that you have reserved a table. Nice wine list, reasonably priced. A little bit off the main roads but easy to find and you will find parking space just in front.

A very popular pub which was buzzing with guests eating dinner from early evening. It is a characterful traditional pub with attentive staff. My husband ordered the skate which was unfillited and he couldnt eat. The friendly manager asked him to choose something else from the menu instead. I can recommend the burger but not the coleslaw it comes with!
