When I placed my order Feb. 25 and 26. It said 2 to 3 week delievery. I understand that things can change but when I call to talk to someone. I have to leave my info on a recording. That;s fine. But, no one calls me back. Instead they send a email. With info that is still not correct. It said the week of Mar. 30. Another call and the same thing, a email. Now the email says the first week in May. No one seems to know whats going on or when things will ship. I was also told that the Mar. 30 ship that Saturday or Monday. My account page says processing for both orders. Even the April 6 shipment is still showing processing. And it;s all vegetables. You have a great product but sorry customer service.

This you might not want to publish. I have always received good service except for two items one of which cost me $2600.00. The minor problem was I had a $29 credit and when I didn't use it they returned to the company.
The big one involved the sale of a 1.3Kw Humless generator. It took me over a year to sell it but when I did and we took it out of the box it turned out to be only .63 generator. I told Rob about it and he said he would take care of getting a new one. The customer was willing to wait. After three weeks I took things into my own hands and made contact with Humless. The story from there is just too long to relay except after 30 days the customer canceled and the sale was lost. Rob said he would make it up to me but......still waiting and now he is gone.

We have opened a new store in Sandpoint, ID and after giving it some thought I have started using Legacy. Wise is a great company and we all have our share of mistakes unfortunately this one cost me a large amount of money.

I ordered with their Black Friday deals, which ended up getting extended well into the next week. Shipping was very fast, and I got everything I ordered on time. I have yet to try the food, but a good friend had clued me on to them and enjoys their meals very much.

We purchased a pallet of food (600 lbs worth) and when it was delivered it was put on our sidewalk. We had cleared a space for the pallet in our garage but the delivery guy said he couldn't place it there for lack of equipment or a bad back or something. It seems like if you're delivering a 600 pound pallet you should also be able to place that pallet where the customer would like it. We haven't tasted the food yet so I can't comment on that but it does seem like the packaged buckets that the food comes in are well built and sturdy.

Signed up for the "free sample" after a co-worker ...

Signed up for the "free sample" after a co-worker recommended the wise brand. Little did I know I would get a phone call later that day with a rude, salesman who immediately wrote me off as a potential customer because I didn't own a business and didn't tell him I was looking to buy without at least seeing how a sample tastes. I guess I didn't meet his requirements to receive the "free sample" so I finally told him to keep his sample and remove my information from their database. Maybe its a good product as some have reviewed but I have lost all interest after my exchange with this particular representative unfortunately.

I attempted to order 2 of there 72 hour emergency food kits directly from them off eBay. After a full week, they never shipped out my order and I had to demand a refund. What sort of reputable emergency preparedness company pulls something like that? I'm avoiding conducting any further business with Wise.

My girlfriend and I went backpacking in the Gila W...

My girlfriend and I went backpacking in the Gila Wilderness this last week. It's an incredible area and we were planning on 4 days in the backcountry and about 40 miles.

Unfortunately, we had bought Wise Company 7 day meal pack at Walmart ($86). We thought this was a score, with 32 servings, it came to $2.39 a meal. We of course didn't take every meal for the four days. We had the first serving after walking in 5 miles and setting up camp. We both went to bed with terrible stomach cramps, fortunately we had packed in a small supply of Tums. Breakfast the next morning caused us both stomach pain again. My girlfriend was curled for an hour on her sleeping pad. Tums again to the rescue, but after a long visit to the bushes by both of us. By this point we had tried three different meals (two the night before, one for breakfast) and all had made use very ill, and dig *several* deep cat holes.

As these made up the bulk of our food, breakfast and dinner, we decided not to wander further into the wild and cut short our trip. We hiked back towards the trail head and found a nice grove of ponderosa near the West Gila River and set up camp a mile and a half from the trailhead and ate our lunches for food. We hiked out the third day in the morning.

So I have to recommend avoiding these meals. They seem to have favorable reviews, but there's apparently an issue with quality control. Eat at your own risk.

Edit 10/31/2018 I sent an email to Wise Company as requested in their reply to my original view. I never received a reply so my review still stands at one star.

If you're thinking of ordering from this company I would suggest you read my review so you can find out how poorly you will be regarded after they TAKE your money. This is one of the single worst experiences I have ever had with an online vendor. I placed my order and noted that they took the 500 plus dollars out of the bank within seconds, (this part is importamt to note when you find out the quoted refund time further in my review). After two weeks there was zero change in my order status of "processing" I decided to reach out via their site and sent a message seeking a status...I was ignored. I waited 48 hours and sent another and again, I was ignored. I waited an additional 14 hours and called them. Of course, they weren't available so I left a voice mail. After 24 more hours of being ignored I called again and miraculously spoke to a representative who advised me that it would be another 2 plus weeks before my order would be expected to be delivered so I requested a refund and was advised that even THAT was going to take 10 days. Funny that they have the technology in place to process a debit within seconds yet seem to not be able to process refunds until roughly the same amount of time it would take for my order to be supposedly sent. Seems like a revenue retention policy to me...but what do I know. We're not talking a $20 order here folks. We're talking about over $500 bucks that these potential scammers plan to hold onto for a total of a near month from the time the order was placed until the time I'm SUPPOSED to get a refund. It's outrageous that they would snatch the cash from you faster than you can say "that was fast" yet leave it up to the customer to go out of their way multiple times to get an unapologetic and equally disappointing outcome with zero interst in taking the time to put processes in place that allow the customer to access any information autonomously. There are a lot of options for this type of service out there. Don't make the same mistake I did. Spend your money with a company that values your patronage and respects your time. Only the next 10 days will determine if these people are simply scam artists with a big advertising budget, but the time I've already wasted on their useless service definitely tells me they couldn't care less about their customers. To the company, don't bother responded with a fake apology because you've already made me very aware of how you truly feel about my personal experience. What a total waste of time and so far, money...and a LOT of it.

Will not buy again! I ordered two prepper packs and two 72 hour kits one of each were gifts for my parents. I gave them to my parents and powder came from the 72 hour kit box so we open it and 3 pouches had holes in them so we open the other kits and all 4 kits had bad visible pouches I took pictures and sent them to Wise and i called and they sent out replacements and they had holes in them 3 more times and some were bad called the 4th time they said they would not send anymore replacements so I did not receive what I originally ordered.They go through employees fast so you can never get in contact with the same person. if you apply pressure to the pouches they will not hold air so how can you rely on them 25 years from now! Will not buy again

There prices are very high for their product. I can. buy their stuff ALOT cheaper trough my hunting magazines/ads instead of direct through their catalog as I own my own corporation! I can't make a dime reselling their product!
They do have a good product, but a little to expensive.

$1K+ order placed on February 27th. Finally received a notice on March 16th that the order can't be filled until the second week of April. Credit card charged anyway! Will I ever see the items? Have to pay the credit card bill before April 6th! If items weren't available for shipment their website should have indicated they were "out of stock". Was anything in stock? Why no partial shipment of available items? That's how legitimate web-based businesses do it. Shameful business practices. AVOID!

Wise food always ships fast, and is a better quality than many of the alternative brands I've tried. These are good for long term storage, but do very well in an emergency vehicle bag for unforseen issues.

I called in to set up an order and ask some questions. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff answered all my questions and set me up with a sweet deal. I ended up doubling my order with the info I gained. I bought the products as emergency stored food but I tried some and it is really easy to make and pretty tasty. I'll probably order some more for little emergencies like when I don't feel like shopping and want to eat something now. The buckets are a little smaller than I expected, which made storing them out of the way even easier. Great product and the piece of mind is priceless.
