Perfect atmosphere to sit with friends and enjoy some great beer! I recommend the unique taste of the Coconut Porter to everyone!
Cool little brewery. Small but with a good selection of beer according to my resident expert. No food, but you can bring in your own.
Unique tap house I always enjoy coming into to see what these guys have created next. You can't go wrong with a growler of their Miss-B-Haven.
Fun spot and great beers. Infinite Lives is an amazing stout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We love this place. Great prices, delicious pours and fantastic people. Keep an eye for fun events like Seattle Seawolves Rugby and Sounders viewing parties and live music. Always pack a growler with you or grab some cans to go. Cheers!
There is always a great selection here and great people to talk/listen to. I always order a flight when we visit or bring guests. I've only had one drink be flat of the three times I've gone (the flavor was great just no bubbles). It is a nice sit at a barrel and drink brewery and that's it. It can get crowded on the weekends and depending on events going on close by.
Great Vibes, great beer! Pretty open space with a good rotation of different beers in house brewed and otherwise. Not usually very packed, but a great find amongst many other breweries. Highly recommend!
Great place to get a beer. They have a wide variety to choose from. They do allow minors and dogs. It's not as flashy as some of the other Tacoma breweries but it's worth checking out.
Good beer made by great people who care about the local community.
Was in the area for a concert at the Tacoma Dome, decided to stop by here for a drink beforehand. Leaving this review mostly to say that the service we had was GREAT. Unfortunately didn t catch her name but she was very friendly and went out of her way of offering recommendations of where to grab a bite and how to get around town. Enjoyed the beer too!
Industrial authentic feel, great taste, great events
Fantastic hole in the wall brewery, with some tasty brews for sure, friendly staff also.
Wish they would bring the Purple Urkle back! Best thing they have!
Wingman provided the beer for my company s open house party and they did an amazing job! Totally went above and beyond. All of thier beers were fantastic and got rave reviews from my clients. Thank you Wingman!
This is probably the worst brewery experience I have had living in Washington state. I come to this very out of the way brewery in an old industrial building. I order their overpriced Chocolate Stout that is fairly bland, but not horrible. It just was lacking any character , but still was $5/10oz, despite not being barrel aged.
I grew up in Oregon and lived for 6 months in Ballard hitting up every nearby brewery, so I think I do know good quality beer and breweries. For being out of the way, they also have a very dismal selection. T hey only have like 4 beers on tap and most have very low ABV.
The worst part of the experience was that people in the bar were cold, unfriendly and rude. After ordering my beer I ask a woman if a seat is taken and she gives me a dirty look , doesn't say a word to me and sits down like I don't belong in her bar or something. I end up sitting at a table and having a beautiful view of a concrete wall. Everyone in the bar leaves their coats on the bar stools so no one takes their seat, but nobody offersa seat to someone who needs it.
Basically, I had crappy experience here.. Bland beer that is not cheap, minimal selection, unfriendly people and the brewery is tucked away in an industrial area with nothing around it. I won't be returning to this brewery ever again.
Great craft beer, very good service, free pretzels and graciously welcoming of humans and dogs, giving us a fersh bowl of water for our dog, without even asking. Thank you Wingman Brewers and your awesome bartender.
Great tasting craft beer, fine selection. It could be turned into an enjoyable place with more seating, something like a bar
Fun little spot, cheap growlers and a decent selection of beers. Staff was friendly and made great recommentions. Smells like a brewery should, fresh hints of malt in the air.
Always a fun time, this year's selection wasn't as exciting as the last 2 years
Great beer, great venue. It's cliche to recommend their peanut butter P-51 porter, but it's cliche for a reason.
Wingman has my favorite beer. The peanut butter cup porter. A gem brewery in Tacoma. Also a good variety of beer to choose. Worth it to check out. I Love it!
Craft beer. Local. Awesome. Delicious.
Growlers. Cans. Bottles.
Video games. No kids. Great vibe.
It smells of heavenly malts & hops. Definitely nut busting goodness for beer lovers!
This place just keeps getting better and better. I recommend stopping in anytime, but especially if you just got off the train or bus from that long Seattle commute.
Victory is absolutely amazing! Such great, friendly service, and it's a neat little spot to check out! The sponsor cool stuff too, like local fundraisers! Lots of love to Wingman! Cheers!
Great local brewery with a good selection of beers.
The beer at this place is great. Coconut P-51 Porter is the bomb!
Very good beer. Very raw space. A decent place to go if you are looking for 1 part beer and 1 part experience.
I guess the beer is ok if you can get past the funky smell and 1000 fruit flies.
SO YUMMY. Their sampler set is a great way to try decent size samples of an array of brews. I liked nearly every one! Fun, relaxed atmosphere, with rough-hewn interior that makes it feel both trendy and classically "Tacoma".
The veterinary community in Covington thanks Wingman Brewers for their service in this difficult time. My friend picked up some of the mask extenders they are 3D printing. Our ears feel so much better and now we can preserve the disposable masks for the human healthcare workers on the front lines. Plus, they make great beer and they DELIVER. In more ways than one. Thank you all.
Snores porter was tasty, and the service great. We'll be back,
Great folks, relaxed atmosphere, and of course some damn tasty brews
Variety of craft beer in the garage they are made in.
Wingman might be my favorite brewery in Tacoma. Great vibe, great beer, amazing people that work there. Definitely recommended
Great to see them hit phase 2 with cleanliness, direction and great beer!!!
Great place. They like and allow bring I've your own food. Sports vibe. Nice bar tender.
Favorite Tacoma beer! At first, they were a little slow to have a nice selection of beers, but now...Amazing :-D This is really a nice little place, good music, TVs, GREAT BEER, fun arcade games and darts, GREAT BEER, and oh yeah GREAT BEER!
The brew here was good. I got the "orange creamsickle hefe" for like 6 bucks. It was delicious. And I've had some good beers!! I drank my beer faster than my hubby...so it was good.... And strong. The seating is kind of everywhere lol but it's still nice. Bring a salty snack with you. I'm not sure if they offer peanuts or chips.
Very friendly staff with fantastic made on site craft beer. This place is a must visit in Tacoma.
Really good interesting beers. My friend and I stopped in and loved the ones we tried. We just wish they had a longer lost of beers.
Great beer in a cool industrial location. Friendly staff and a fun story. Plenty of old games and darts to entertain you. Worth a visit when in Tacoma, and even walking distance from the dome if you are there for an event.
"How was Wingman Brewers!" Ducking Awesome! Every beer was a knockout, and Ashley rocked! Also renewed by love of P-38s: should be your Twin IPA!
Solid beer stop for friends to meet up. Good amount on tap and plenty or room so it wont get to filled up. Darts, TV, bar snacks, and some arcade games. Will return.
Ace IPA was super tasty. The atmosphere is not raving but just right if you are looking for beer and conversation.
Great selections. Not hundreds of them but what there is are all fantastic. I like darker beers and the P-51 porter does not disappoint. Coffee and sweet. No real taproom-you literally drink in with the brewing separated only by a bar. No food but you can bring your own. Outstanding!!!
Friendly bartender. Not super well-kept. Looks a little dirty / disorganized at first glance. Atmosphere was mostly unfriendly with people staring at the TVs, listening to the bland sports commentary. Would be much nicer if they played some balanced music and got rid of the TVs. I had an Orange Creamcicle Hefeweizen, and was pleased with the flavor and texture. I'd rate it a 7/10, would drink again. Overall, there are better places to spend my time unless they improve the atmosphere.
Stopped in for the Denizens of the Dark event. While I am happy they're still open it makes me sad that this is the first year I won't be celebrating this event with all of my 253 homies.
Very spartan, but the staff is very friendly. And the beir is very, very good.
If an honest Grit City micro brewery is what you seek, this is the place to start. Always a good variety of brews to sample or take home.
Understated and *ing delicious beer. Glad I stopped. I will come back.
If it exists, your "dive bar" craft brewery. Sparse on decor and pomp and circumstance. It's your working man's craft beer place, no frills here, no food, just beer. Located in the warehouse district near the Tacoma dome and a bit of a sketchy walk from downtown.
Beer was decent. They have eight beers on tap, so not an extraordinary mix by any stretch. Seems like a locals hangout. If you happen to be on the other side of the tracks/interstate then it's worth a drop in.
Great beer! Met some good people! Thank you Michelle and John for making us feel so welcome
Best IPA I've ever had. Always new beers on tap, and lots of great nearby takeout to enjoy as well.
