Will be back to enjoy this magical place. Right off the highway and within walking distance of a few vineyards. Has a cute pool, great food, and very nice staff.
Went for Thanksgiving dinner. They had very good food. It was fresh and lots of it. Service was excellent. Very friendly and efficient. Not too pushy. Would do it again.
Beautiful location. Clean. Wine tastings. And vineyards close by. I will stay here again. Can't wait to come back with friends and stay longer.
I think it's the only place to stay in Palisades. Clean and friendly staff accommodated our bicycles in their garage.
Everything is amazing here except the sewage smell in all the hallways and lobby and areas that you eat. This place is so cute and has amazing service. I wish I could give 5 stars.... but the place just stinks bad. I am also a business owner so I let the front desk know and I never like to complain publicly. I did complain to the hotel and they let me know they were aware and that unfortunately it couldn t be resolved until Managment acknowledged it. So I am writing this review to let management know that the smell is bad. Love the hotel and would totally give 5 stars. The smell is just unfortunate for our stay.
The service was great! The food was incredible! And i loved the beauty of the surroundings!
Very clean. Excellent pool, food & wine. We had a great weekend. We will definitely come back. Staff was very helpful & accommodating
Wine country inn is one of my favorite get aways. It's conveniently located right off the highway, it's quiet and hospitable. Their breakfast is fantastic, much higher quality than most other hotels.
The food was good, if not a little overcooked. However the service was great.
Loved our stay here enroute back to Denver. Peaceful and beautiful. Recommended.
This is a great place to stay while you visit the Palisade wineries! Your stay includes breakfast and wine happy hour. The pool and hot tub are nice. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly!
it was very clean and nice. The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms are very nice one of the best I've ever stayed in.
First time staying at this establishment, very warm and cozy! Would DEFINITELY come back! Great experience!
Cute place to stay. Very good wine. A few loud guests throughout the night but it was overall a great experience.
Very cute and cozy place, even though they have just 3 stars the service and everything else is like 5 stars
Excellent value, nice rooms, great pool, and friendly staff
Such a nice place to stay. Close to all the wineries, and such beautiful rooms! The breakfast was soo good in the morning, it was a high quality continental!
We are in love with Wine Country Inn. It is perfect for a getaway with or without the kids. The rooms are impeccably clean, breakfast is above and beyond, the pool and hot tub are never crowded and have the best views. And to top it off, the complimentary wine every afternoon is delicious!
We recommend this place to everyone headed to Colorado Wine Country.
The perfect getaway for any occasion. The staff treats you like a guest in their personal home. The views from the resort are breathtaking. Wine Country Inn is a hidden gem in Western Colorado.
Went for a wedding, great place. Staff was excellent and very professional.
A quiet inn on the edge of Palisade with an excellent restaurant (Caroline's). Our favorite wineries are just at the end of the lane (Talon/St Katherine's/Meadery of the Rockies)
One of the best venue's in he valley. Absolutely the best people to work with Vicky and her crew are amazing!
Nice location rooms were clean and everyone was friendly. The only negative part was we pre paid for our rooms thru Orbitz (full price) and we were still charged for the rooms and told to ask Orbits for a refund. That should work well!
Loved the food and atmosphere. Josh is an awesome bartender. Very cozy rooms and great breakfast. Will stay again.
Very cozy place to stay. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and free glass of wine in the afternoon was nice. If there's an event being held at the the hotel while you're there, it can be very crowded in the lobby and parking got extremely full.
We were here to meet a tour, so we were only here for half an hour. I would like to stay, it's a beautiful hotel with many nicely appointed amenities. Staff was very friendly. Vineyard Cats!
Great place! Quiet, clean. Has a restaurant, lounge, and wine tasting room. Awesome views at sunset.
Very nice hotel. The views are great and the pool is nice. Location being surrounded by a vineyard, orchards nearby, and wineries aplenty makes it even better. The continental breakfast and staff were excellent too. The rooms are otherwise nice, comfortable, and well kept. It's worth the stay if you're trying to enjoy wine country and the fruit.
My only 2 negatives are first that the restaurants are expensive and don't have great selection. Also, it is close to the highway and occasionally you hear road noise from the pool area, but it's reasonable.
Beautiful location, clean, simple room, Victorian decor. Stayed on the second floor and it was a little noisy. Could hear other guests in the hall and above us.
Awesome hotel right in the middle of 2 wineriers. You get a free glass of wine every night and the free breakfast is amazing and different every day. The staff was great and made our stay very memorable.
Wonderful, relaxing & welcoming to our pup! Staff is great and the rooms are very nice. The atmosphere is ideal!
We had lunch served to us as part of a professional event, and as always, the food (buffalo sausage, mushroom risotto, salad, vegetables and an incredibly rich chocolate brownie) was top-notch.
We stayed in the Vintners Guest house, beautiful location. Had dinner at the Tapestry Lounge, staff was awesome, food was great, wine was even better. I highly recommend this Inn!
Very nice place to stay. Lots of vineyards in the area.
For a romantic getaway, there sure are a lot of loud obnoxious kids. We were hoping to enjoy the hot tub, but were dissapointed that there arent any Adult Swim hours. Wouldn't be that big of a deal but we got squirted in the face by a little one messing with the jets. Also, we had the pleasure of waking up to the sounds of feet banging on the ground from the room above us and the hallway outside. I know that kids will be kids, but this place markets itself as a "getaway." It isnt. Also, they use cheap ingredients in their food. We were just let down because of what was advertised vs what we experienced.
The Wine Country Inn is nicely decorated with excellent service the moment you walk in. It is conveniently located within walking distance of several wineries. The hotel restaurants offer good quality food. Lighting, outlets and Wi-Fi were adequate. The bed was comfortable although the room could have been a little quieter. Nice grounds and pool.
Caroline's is located in the Wine Country Inn. We were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant of this quality inside the hotel. The service was excellent and the food delicious.
Super helpful staff and perfect location for exploring the area.
Looks like meatball and spaghetti but is actually dessert!
Giving it a biased 5 stars. Always room for improvement, but, always a good experience. Can't imagine one wouldn't like staying here. Been there many times, but, only for lunch, dinner and events. Always booked full when I've tried to stay, so that says something.
Very clean, beautiful grounds and room... would have given a 5 but the bed was so hard both my husband and I had 2
Uncomfortable nights...
Wonderful hotel with a great staff! Really enjoyed our stay from the wine reception to a scrumptious dinner and a delicious full breakfast in the morning! Great local decor with historical photos hanging throughout. Very comfy beds and pillows! We'll definitely be back again!
Messy rooms, poor service, and they messed up our reservations. We left a day early and won't be back.
Dog friendly, beautiful and comfortable hotel. I paid about $100 per night with $40 pet fee in mid February
one of our personal favorites. beautiful small inn, very well kept in an awesome small town setting. don't miss it.
Fine dining at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere and service! The food was delicious. We will be definitely be back!
Awesome meal, great location and professional staff.
Spectacular breakfast and especially delicious coffee.
Besides being a beautiful facility surrounded by grape vineyards, the staff here is friendly and helpful. We had a delicious dinner at Caroline's, which is attached to the hotel as well as great food two nights in the bar.
The hotel smells clean and fresh and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Anytime we come to Palisade we'll stay here.
I would never stay here again! We just had our wedding at this venue, and yes the property is beautiful, but for a wedding these people were absolutely horrible. The staff was rude, things were promised that were not executed, they treated us more like a pain in the @$$ rather than guests, or a couple who just spent a ton of money at their place of business. Future brides beware....they are very good at telling you things to get you to sign on the dotted line but in the end.....you get screwed!!!!
I stayed one night here. The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, and it was an overall great experience. It's a beautiful place and I would definitely choose to stay there again.
Staying here is a must! We've been here 3 times now. The last time we brought 4 other couples with us and toured wine country, laughed, played in their pool, enjoyed the patio rooms and loved their amazing breakfast. They do a great job here. I've never liked the wine they serve in the afternoon, but that's purely personal taste.
The rooms are always clean, they have a small fridge in them which has been great for bringing our own snacks. We also brought a cooler to keep our wine in and we always go before or after the peach festival when the crowds aren't there, but the peaches still are!
We loved our stay! The staff was super friendly and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was excellent and the free glass of wine was the cherry on top. Lovely views, easy access.
Comfortable room, smooth check in, and amazing service in the lounge. Would absolutely recommend. A+
Having stayed in primarily 4 and 5-star hotels recently, I wasn't expecting much, but aside from the 4-star finish of the hotel, the staff and experience deserved 6 stars. Great stay!
Fun place. The only thing I can complain about is that we had reserved a room with 2 beds and 4 people however, they only had the room set up for 2 people and we never got our complementary bottle of wine. The staff is friendly.
If your going to Palisade (which I recommend). This is THE place to stay.
+Great breakfast
+In a vineyard
+ Plenty of vineyards to walk or bike to
+ Gorgeous scenery
Staff is welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Loved our stay
Enjoyed the stay except for Friday evening when the noise from the music gathering they sponsor went past 10pm; so loud that with the windows closed we still had issues hearing the TV without bothering our room neighbors, let alone try and sleep.
Shockingly poor customer service. I can't recommend.
Amazing location. Great staff. Room with a view. Good food and drinks. Will definitely return.
