Was a beautiful evening and the music was great. Friendly staff! Had a party of 12 or so. Plenty of room. In addition to wine they had beer as well however bottles only, no draft beer. Ordered pizzas and appetizers. Everything was great.

couples date, friends gathering, GREAT place to spend a few hours, just for drinks or a nice quiet dinner, indoor and outdoor seating, (wish the owners invested in some heaters with this chilly weather), GREAT service, our waitress, Alexis, was phenomenal .. a place to go back to for sure... oh by the way.. their wines have reasonable prices! always a plus!!

Love this place! Very nice for relaxing and visiting with friends especially if you love wine. Inside and outside seating with fire pits for cool nights. Been going here over 3yrs and it keeps getting better; Philip and Deb really make you feel at home. The wine selection rocks with whites, reds, and blends; from wine regions around the world. I've gone after work, on a Saturday afternoon, and a Sunday evening never once did I not have a good time!

I am LIVID! I have been sitting for 30 minutes and 15 minutes ago LITERALLY ASKED TWO waitresses to come to our table. I was told she would get someone. I detected a bitchy attitude, but I had no idea she would make sure no one else would come by for 20 ADDITIONAL minutes!! My WIFE had to get up to get someone! I am sick to my stomach with the disrespect I got here today! The people are to comfortable at work!

People. Wine connesieurs. Lovers of the exquisite. If you can't stand to experience anything other than the best of people, service and ambience, look no further. The absolute best is the standard of excellence here at wine 101. Whether you have a family, rolling solo or, like us, have a newborn, the wine 101 family will take care of you. And not in the same sense a 5 star restaurant will, but like a family you haven't seen in years. This place is a desert oasis, a hiatus from your mundane, the mecca of peace and blessings.

Even if you are not a big wine drinker and have limited knowledge of wines, this is an excellent place to go. They are happy to help you find something you might like and tell you a little about it. You'll walk away happy and will have learned a little more about differences in wines, vineyards and wine makers.

A wonderful place to kick back and relax after a long day in the middle of the week. The atmosphere is very light and enjoyable and the staff provides great recommendations and wonderful customer service. Would highly recommend visiting at any time but their half price bottles specials on Wednesday are the best!

The food is absolutely amazing, I would come here again and again just for the food. The prices are a bit steep for some of the things they serve but I suppose that s because it s made fresh. The wine selection was pretty good, I tried quite a few and didn t find anything I loved but I still had a great time with my girlfriends. Definitely a place to visit for ladies night out. Try it on a day they have specials.

What an outstanding place. Friendly and professional service, delicious menu, even better selection of wine, and a comfortable and shaded outdoor patio. I stumbled upon this place by accident, and was welcomed like family by Phil (owner). Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a laid back, unpretentious, and inviting space that doesn t brag about the quality they have inside the menu, on the stage (caught some live music), and making the place run right (Amanda will quickly become your favorite member of the waitstaff).

It is always a good time when we go to Wine 101. They have a wide variety of wines that will not disappoint, and the food is just as delicious. I will recommend the flat breads! They are dog friendly and have a wonderful patio area to lounge in.

The atmosphere was nice when we initially walked in, however the wait staff was not very helpful, almost on the brink of rude, and I felt like I was intruding as the staff celebrated an event.

Enjoyed a lot. Small buy open and comfortable place with many windows. The women working there knew their stuff and we're encouraging of questions and quick to service anything you need. The wines are all pretty sweet no matter the grape but definitely a good place to try.

This place was really cute. We had a great time. Plenty of selections on wine and food. I recommend the watermelon plate! It was unusual and really good. We sat inside but they have a nice patio as well. David helped us and was really nice and helpful. You can tell he loves his job. Great customer service! We will be visiting again soon with our friends.

My wife, friends and I planned to go to Wine 101 this past weekend. We live nearby and have been often. Their Facebook page said they opened at Noon (they have now changed it). My wife really likes their food, so she didn t eat lunch and was planning to have an appetizer. We arrived on Saturday at 2, and no one was there. Luckily, they share a beer garden area with Busted Sandal, so we had a beer. Unfortunately, no one showed up until about 3. They said they were having issues with the keys, so didn t open the wine window until 3:30. Sadly, they also said the cook wouldn t be there until 4:30 or 5:00 p.m. We did order about $60 of wine at that point. Unfortunately my wife was now starving, so we got food from El Chapparal while we finished the wine. It s a shared garden area with other businesses, and their kitchen wasn t even operational, so we figured no big deal. They don t even have wait service right now because of COVID. Almost as soon as the food had arrived, an irate employee ran out of the kitchen and started screaming at us for ordering food elsewhere when they serve [usually] food. I explained to her that we had been waiting for hours, and that they weren t even serving food at this point! She said we were lying, and that their Facebook says they open at 3:00 (it didn t, I showed it to her). We explained to her that we had just ordered some wine. She never asked us to leave, and just started yelling about health code violations and went back in the trailer. About 30 minutes later, the POLICE showed up! They asked us what happened, and told us that the business was kicking us out! The employee had never politely asked us to leave, or to eat the food elsewhere, and a manager never spoke with us. They weren t even serving food, my wife was already done with the food, and we were in a space shared with other businesses. This was incredibly embarrassing and I ve never had a situation like this before. We will never be back and this was some of the worst management of a restaurant or bar I have ever seen in my life. Never again!

This was a little hidden gem. I had never ventured out too far down Bandera before. But glad I did. David, our wine host was great and very knowledgeable about the wine selections. And the tapas.... amazing!!! Will definitely be visiting again.
